Long Quay Apartments, Clonakilty

Excellent location with nice views of the bay and short walk to any place in the town. Spacious apartment and nice touch providing tea coffee milk for weary travellers on arrival. Super easy to gain access to the apartment. Margaret was on hand to deal with any issues- we had none.

It’s probably shortly due a repaint but it was totally fine for our stay.

Its on the 4th floor no lift. If you have mobility issues this won’t work for you.

We really enjoyed our stay in Long Quay Apartments. The location is very central and couldn't be better. The apartment was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The beds were also very comfortable. We have absolutely nothing to complain about.

The beds were very hard, the mattresses need to be replaced .

The location is central yet quite with excellent views and the car park to the property is very convenient and a space always available, a very short walk to the sociable high street and a very good supermarket a few minutes walk away.

Location and size of the apartments were amazing.

Facilities were very basic - lots of very heavy wear and tear in the furniture & soft furnishing items ie rugs, sofas, wardrobes, chests of drawers, etc

Within walking distance to town for restaurants, shops etc. Plenty of parking. Very clean and spacious. Margaret was a pleasure to deal with.

Just one small gripe curtains were too lite in bedrooms could do with blackout blinds.

The apartment was much bigger than we thought it was going to be, and was the perfect location. Host was communicative and accomodating.

Apartment was very spacious and well fitted out. Ample parking and location is great for the town and surrounding area. Communication with Noel and Margaret we excellent, we reported an issue and it was rectified within 2 hours.

Stairs could be an issue, though my 88yr old mother managed them.

Die Lage war zentral, Supermarkt gleich in der Nähe, auch die Bushaltestelle. Die Betten waren sehr gemütlich, das Apartment an sich hatte viel Platz. Ein Gefühl der Sorglosigkeit machte sich breit. Margret war freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Die Küchengeräte waren teilweise sehr abgenutzt, zerkratzte Pfannen, der Spüllappen gehört schon längst entsorgt. Im Treppenhaus und in der Abstellkammer war ein muffiger nach Schimmel anmutender Geruch. Die Milchfabrik gegenüber war laut.

The management was so lovely , Margaret and Noel couldn't do enough to make our stay a special one , great location 👍

Margaret was very accommodating with an early check in as we had a wedding get to. The apartment location was fantastic and great value for money

Sehr schöne Wohnung mit Balkon, sehr unkompliziertes Ein-und auschecken. Mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Wohnung war gut ausgestattet mit allem, was man so braucht.

Very good location, right in the town centre and easy access to west Cork. The communication was great and the apartment was spacious. It was good value for money for a few days in the area.

The place is huge, with loads of room, and a great location. A minor suggestion would be to get a softer mattress, but that is just personal preference

Very good location close to the centre of town. All within walking distance. Very close drive to nice beaches etc. Apartment was clean and well kept.

It was tough walking up the three flights of stairs to top floor. One of the showers didn't work. Some of the windows didn't open fully in the heat.

Beautiful apartment. Host is very accommodating as we arrived before our due check in but there was no problem. Very close to all amenities, Beautiful garden views. Place was so clean. Everything u could need for a short or extended stay.

Great location with private parking behind the apartment. Kettle worked faultlessly.

Electric circuit box just inside the front door made a horrendous buzzing noise all night but stopped at breakfast time. Curtains in the bedroom were so thin that they didn't keep any light out so a 5am wake up couldn't be avoided. Washing machine had a mind of it's own so was essentially useless. Some instructions would have helped too. The apartment is very tired and tatty and in need of updating.

TV only had one channel, could not change channel using remote or buttons on front of tv. Dripping kitchen tap, very stiff to turn on and off. One toilet seat very loose.

The location was convenient.

The condition of the property did not match the listing or rating. While not overtly dirty, it was very worn and poorly maintained. Furniture was damaged (including a torn couch), surfaces were heavily marked and scratched, and there was visible residue on bedside tables. Most concerning was the bedding, which included a torn pillows, making it feel unhygienic and not suitable for use. Overall, the apartment was below an acceptable standard for a short stay. We raised our concerns when the host attended the property, however the issues were not addressed. As a result, we chose to leave within 2 hours of arrival and did not stay overnight.

Location was great. Margaret was very accommodating as we had a family wedding and were travelling a long distance we asked for an early check in the apartment was available so it was no problem. Beds were very comfy.

A nice place and great location to explore Clonakilty

It was a great location, the apartment was clean and spacious.

Keys were on the kitchen table, no issues getting into property. Also, tea, coffee and milk available to us on arrival. Plenty radiators so the apartment was very cosy.

Curtains in the twin bedroom are very light. Also, we could have done with extra bed side light near the single bed in that room

Excellent location, Easy / free parking. Access and key handover straight forward - key to getting the key is calling the owner in advance to arrange access time. Owner was friendly. House was clean and well prepared.

The shower water temperature was too low almost cold. Could shower, but not comfortable Wifi was available, but access - password was difficult to determine. Maybe replace some pot and pans, due to age and rust

There was really nothing we didn't like about this apartment. It was perfect for us.

Great stay here in Clonakilty. Check in with Margaret was very easy and she advised she was available if we had any issues. The apartment was clean and spacious. Both bedrooms had ensuites. We would definitely stay here again. The apartment was just a short walk from the main street and parking available infront of apartment. Great value for a 2 night stay.

The location was ideal, I rang Margret she told me the location of the keys on arrival, it couldn’t have been easier. I rang prior requesting an extra bed to which they accommodated me without and hassle, they couldn’t have been nicer. A really nice place to say with lovely people. Would highly recommend

We have used the apartment now for both a summer and winter stay. It is traditionally decorated and with two en-suite bedroom plus a family bathroom with bath and loo as well. The location is great for both with a fantastic supermarket (Scully’s) within 80 yards and a spar for take away breakfast. The winter stay was very cosy and the summer stay makes it an ideal location for post beach clean- up. Parking is just outside so no hassle.
