Reviewed Sep 12, 2026We cannot recommend Michael and Aya Sofia Suites highly enough. From start to finish, our stay was absolutely perfect. The villa is pure luxury at a very reasonable price, with beautiful amenities, an amazing private pool and a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere, while still being within walking distance of Mykonos town. It genuinely gave us the perfect balance of relaxation and being close enough to enjoy everything Mykonos has to offer. Breakfast was delicious, and the attention to detail throughout our stay was fantastic. Despite Michael being on the mainland for the birth of his daughter, he maintained constant communication with us, checking breakfast times and requirements and making sure everything was just right. Nothing was ever too much trouble, including kindly working around our flight times for check-out. After a busy few months, this was exactly the relaxing break we needed. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and would return to Aya Sofia Suites in a heartbeat. Thank you, Michael, for making our stay so special!
There is nothing we didn’t like about the Aya Sofia Suites!

Nulla in particolare … suggerirei piccoli cambiamenti tipo mettere degli Appennini in bagno per gli accappatoi e variare un po’ la colazione. Era sempre buona e con prodotti freschi aggiungerei ogni giorno una piccola variante per solleticare l appetito.

Het zwembad en de faciliteiten van het hotel kunnen gebruikte worden door de gasten van de suites. Dit is een enorme plus want een heerlijke plek! Wat niet onvermeld mag blijven is het restaurant van het hotel met werkelijk geweldig eten, dikke aanrader!
Ontbijt was basic en iedere dag hetzelfde, we misten wel een eitje of wat kaas of vlees of enige afwisseling

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön. Modern und sauber. Das Bett war sehr bequem und der Blick auf die Insel und auf den Sonnenuntergang sind toll. Es gibt jeden Tag Frühstück ans Zimmer. Der Gastgeber Michael ist sehr freundlich und hat sich immer sofort und zuverlässig gekümmert. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Urlaub.
An der Unterkunft gibt es eigentlich gar keine Minuspunkte. Ich hatte vor der Buchung den starken Wind auf Mykonos nicht bedacht. Durch den Wind haben wir den Pool und die Terrasse leider fast gar nicht genutzt. Aber dafür haben wir die gesamte Insel mit all ihren schönen Stränden erkundet. Wer einen Urlaub mit Buch am Pool verbringen möchte, sollte wahrscheinlich eher eine Unterkunft wählen, die weiter unten oder windgeschützter liegt.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026La ubicación, las instalaciones y el trato de Michael desde el mismo día de la reserva. Las camas eras muy cómodas, la habitación de ensueño y la piscina privada todo un lujo.
Por poner 2 pegas, una que no tiene que ver con el alojamiento sino con el viento de Mykonos, que hace complicado usar la piscina más de lo que lo hicimos. Y otra la ubicación si vas sin coche, no hay nada cerca para cenar ni para coger una bebida que usar en la piscina, pero con un paseo agradable se llega a Mykonos town.

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad! De suites zijn prachtig, schoon en comfortabel, en het uitzicht is werkelijk adembenemend. Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk, behulpzaam en gastvrij. Ze stonden altijd klaar om ons te helpen en hebben ons verblijf extra aangenaam gemaakt.
Het enige kleine aandachtspunt is de ligging. Wie graag te voet naar het centrum gaat, moet rekening houden met een steile weg bergaf en vooral bergop op de terugweg. Dat kan, zeker bij warm weer, wat vermoeiend zijn. Gelukkig zijn taxi’s gemakkelijk te regelen. Wel er is ieder uur een shuttlebus van het hotel, wat het verblijf een stuk gemakkelijker maakt. Je moet hiervoor wel ongeveer 6 minuten wandelen van de suites naar het hoofdhotel, maar dat is goed te doen.

Desde el primer momento, todo ha sido impecable: las instalaciones, la limpieza, el ambiente y el cuidado por cada detalle han hecho que la estancia haya sido simplemente fantástica. Pero, sin duda, lo mejor de todo ha sido la atención de Michael. Su profesionalidad, amabilidad y cercanía han marcado la diferencia. Siempre atento, dispuesto a ayudar y con una sonrisa, ha conseguido que nos sintiéramos como en casa en todo momento. Es un auténtico lujo encontrar personas que disfrutan tanto de su trabajo y lo transmiten a los huéspedes. Quiero agradecer de corazón la experiencia que nos habéis ofrecido. Sin duda, volveremos y recomendaremos este hotel a familiares y amigos. ¡Enhorabuena a todo el equipo, y especialmente a Michael, por hacer que una estancia sea realmente inolvidable!
Me ha gustado absolutamente todo. Es recomendable alquilar un coche ya que hay varias cuestas hasta llegar al hotel, no obstante se puede hacer caminando sin problema.

Nulla di rilevante: forse solo qualche piccolo dettaglio migliorabile nella colazione, ma nel complesso l’esperienza è stata ottima.

Reviewed May 30, 2026Everything was perfect from our arrival, the welcoming from Michael, his kindness to help us along our stay: quad & scooter rental to accommodating our departure and booking a taxi for us to get to the airport. He also has great recommendations to share with anyone. The place was lovely, super clean, bed very confortable and it is only about 20min walk to Mykonos chora. We can only recommend the place with closed eyes.

Reviewed May 28, 2026We had the best stay at Aya Sofia! It was a really special trip as we got engaged and then my birthday. My partner had pre-arranged with Michael for some birthday decorations to be put up and he was so helpful with this and accommodating. The property itself is gorgeous, so clean, tidy and spacious. It is about a 7/8 minute drive to the main Mykonos town which could probably be walked but lots of steep hills, so would recommend a car and parking at the old port for free. Michael was so attentive, friendly and made our stay so lovely. Breakfast was fab and always at a time that suited us (you can choose your timing). Would definitely recommend this place ☺️

- toilette dans la salle de douche si on veut pinailler - l'hébergement est sur les hauteurs de mykonos situé à 10 minutes à pied du centre (en descendant) - 20 minutes en montant mais c'est bien noté dans le descriptif.

Reviewed May 21, 2026The owner of the appartment was very kind and offered us the transport between the hotel San Antonio and Aya Sofia Sweet. We had breakfast in our room, which the owner delivered to us. The sunset view from the hotel was beautiful. The small swimming pool was very nice and gave you the nice feeling., although it was still cold for us to stay in the water for long time in May.
The shower room has no proper door so the bathroom got so wet on the first use. We had to get used to it, so that we did not splash the water. It was difficult to close the big wooden door between the bedroom and the living room. The facility in the bathroom to clean the toilet was rather old. It really needs cleaning, or must have to be changed.

Accueil très chaleureux par notre hôte Michael, logement impeccable, piscine privée avec une magnifique vue, literie confortable, excellent petit-déjeuner livré dans la chambre.... tout était parfait! Navette à prévoir depuis le port (cela peut être réglé par l'intermédiaire de Michael) car la route n'est pas conseillée à pieds. Le centre touristique de Mykonos est facilement accessible à pieds en 25min avec de très beaux points de vue (le retour monte un peu!). On espère revenir un jour! Merci pour tout Michael!
On a tout apprécié! Voici juste une petite suggestion: rajouter quelques espaces de rangement, notamment dans la salle de bain.

Reviewed May 6, 2026Amazing stay at Aya Sofia Suites. The accommodation was perfect for our group of 5 persons. The view was amazing (our favourite part) and the suite itself was clean and modern. The breakfast every morning was freshly made and more than enough for us. Also great hospitality from the host, very easy communication. We have enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it to anyone going to Mykonos.

Reviewed Apr 28, 2026L’appartement est magnifique. La vue est exceptionnelle. Vous êtes au calme, c’est vraiment un havre de paix ! Vous êtes situé à 15min du centre à pied. Michael est un hôte disponible et très gentil. Nous sommes allés vers lui pour des recommandations et une location de voiture et il nous a aidé sans problème. Le petit déjeuner apporté tous les matins est très bon et copieux. C’est un sans faute, je reviendrai si je retourne à Mykonos 😊

Petit déjeuner pas assez copieux … proposer plus de tranche de pain. De la charcuterie ou des œufs seraient appréciés.
