Fairy Hill at Rosemount Glamping

Everything it was so quirky everything handmade. All the little touches like the solar lights and the tiny fairies 🧚‍♀️ hot shower is so invigorating under the trees

I booked this stay for myself and my partner’s anniversary after reading the fantastic reviews but the photos certainly didn’t do the place justice. We got super lucky with the weather so were able to sit/eat out on the chairs and soak up the views which are just incredible. We woke up for sunrise and pulled open the curtains and were able to lay in bed whilst watching it. The hosts Oisín and Natasha were so welcoming and helpful. They showed us the property and gave us recommendations. They also left a complimentary snack basket with water, board games, extra blankets and a book with local recommendations & brochures which was a lovely touch. The outdoor kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed and were in pristine condition, as was the tent. I would definitely recommend Rosemount glamping for the views and price alone. Can’t wait to return!:)

The only tiny thing is that they have one shared outdoor shower which is separate to your private bathroom but it’s the only shower with hot water. If each bathroom had hot water that would be better but I know it’s more energy and cost efficient as it is!

Met regen geen overkapping , keuken was te klein om daar te zitten en de warme douche hadden we liever bij ons eigen badkamer gehad en muur bij kookstel was te laag , vuur werd bijna uitgeblazen , rits binnenkant tent lipje eraf . Tent was moeilijk dichtdoen van binnen

Nothing was perfect

The kitchen facilities were great. The view was exceptional and the hosts were really lovely people and very welcoming. Very peaceful, greatful for the heater in the tent too as it did get a bit colder as the night went on. Hosts had the tent ready for us early and offered an early check in as the guests before left early.

The hot outdoor shower didn't stay hot for very long but the gas may have just ran out

It was me and my wife first time glamping so we didn't know what to expect. But it was amazing in every way. 1 Natasha and Oisin could not do enough for us. 2, location and views amazing. 3, facilities top class. 4, We will definitely be back to Fairy Hill. Thanks Carol and Damian

The glamping tent is really private with generous outdoor space, mini kitchen, barbeque, and bathroom facilities. There is even a communal hot shower that has an open roof. The site is located near to Carlingford. You could walk but it would probably take 25-30 minutes. We would highly recommend- Oisin and Natasha are great hosts.

They was nothing to not like.

The site had everything we needed for a comfy stay. The tent is fantastic, with the (very clever) pellet stove adding the level of heat you’re after. The kitchen area is great, and all the various seating spots mean you can have a different view with every meal. Oísín and Natasha are the loveliest folks, ready to answer any question and help with anything.

Just the unpredictability of your neighbours seeing as how the tents are obviously not sound proof. Nothing the hosts can do about it, but I’ll just say remember to take ear plugs and eye flaps (not a dark tent!).

Very tranquil location, stunning views, good facilities, adequate comfort. Very friendly owner. Close to Carlingford.

Absolutely beautiful location we watched the sun rise this morning, the view! 2 min car drive to the centre, plenty of parking. The bed was comfy & the wood pellet fire was amazing, especially in February. The owners of Fairyhill were so welcoming what a lovely place your husband has built himself. I would definitely recommend it.

They really thought of everything, so comfortable and has everything you might need! Beautiful views over the sea and the most amazing sunrise. The outdoor kitchen with bbq was a major plus. Super clean and comfortable. Will definitely be returning

I truly enjoyed a wonderful day experiencing the peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty. The hosts were extremely kind and caring. I would love to come back again and spend more days enjoying the beautiful nature and tranquility. Thank you so much Oisin and Natasha.

Lovely spot. Very different. Lots of effort put into it. Very out doorsy. Owners met us at check-in and were lovely. Really enjoyed the fire inside the tent and the kitchen was so nice and tent.

Loved this little spot. The bed was so comfortable and the location was so peaceful. The views from the bed were remarkable, just what was needed. Rustic and comfortable with everything we needed. Instead of eating in the town we had our meal here taking in the views. Everything has been crafted with love, passion, expertise & sweat and with nature at it's heart. Will definitely be back ❤️

It was just so cosy and intimate, such a quiet location to switch off and the views were unbelievable. The tent was so comfortable and the pellet stove was great when it got a bit chilly. The outdoor shower was a lovely experience. Natasha and Oisin were so welcoming and truly lovely people. They’ve created a gem for a nice little getaway

Our stay in Rosemount was an absolute tonic. The location was perfect, and the views and atmosphere were spectacular. It was lovely to get reconnected with nature. Went for some lovely walks. Within walking distance of everything Carlingford has to offer. 10/10 stay. Would definitely recommend.

Rosemount glamping surpassed our expectations, Oisín and Natasha were so welcoming and have clearly put a lot of love and enthusiasm into creating a wonderful space. It was nice a peaceful with great views over Carlingford Lough to wake up to with the morning coffee and really nice facilities, the outdoor kitchenette and BBQ and the shower experience integrated with a beautiful hawthorn tree was really cool. We loved it and all a short distance from Carlingford, we stayed there whilst doing the Tain Way hike. We'll be back!

Lovely experience of outdoor living, the weather was fab so that made it even more enjoyable. Love the idea of outdoor kitchen, separate bathroom & hot shower. Carlingford is a lovely quaint little village, well worth a visit.

Oisin and Natasha made us feel so welcomed, waking up to birds singing and the sun shining was a highlight with the view

Sorry we couldn’t stay any longer

Stayed here for one night and it was amazing. Location was perfect. Tent was very comfortable, weather wasn’t great but we were warm all night with the heater inside, plug sockets and comfy bed also great. Outside toilet was used just by us and was close to the tent aswell as the kitchen, with a fridge and all necessities needed. Really friendly hosts and helped us with any questions. Would definitely come back here and recommend 100%, such a nice spot to get away and relax 😊

An amazing place that Oisin and Natasha have created ,a magical retreat, comfortable, cosy and romantic .On arrival we got a lovely warm friendly welcome,we would have loved a longer stay!

Oisin and Natasha fantastic owners and hosts. What an achievement. An oasis carved out of solid rock overlooking perhaps the most beautiful view in Irleand.
