Fairy Fort at Rosemount Glamping

Beautiful and well thought out spot on a hill overlooking the whole isle there. Comfy beds, pellet heaters, full kitchen, some free snacks, hot gas shower. Lovely area to unwind and turn off, walkable to the town and to a nearby pub. Really beautiful place to relax.

The glamping facilities were top tier. Oísín and Natasha were so responsive and helpful. The views were amazing with sunrise happening right in front of the tent, so we could watch from bed! Plenty of stuff to put on the to do list as well, with hikes, a greenway and Carlingford being so close. The outdoor shower was lovely too.

Everything about the property is amazing from the views to the facilities. Honestly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed.

Absolutely everything about here is fabulous. So comfortable and spotleas clean. Oísín and Natasha are amazing hosts and went through everything upon arrival. The views are unbelievable, the peace, quiet and I would highly recommend a break away here for a reset. I ended up traveling alone and I felt so safe and relaxed here. The stove in the tent and fairylights at night were like a dream.

Myself and my boyfriend spent two nights here and it was everything we hoped it would be. It was relaxing, calm, quiet and peaceful. The views were incredible. It provided all the facilities you need, the yurt was beautifully designed and the bed was really comfortable. Oísín and Natasha have created an amazing escape from reality and we cannot wait to return again

Everything was so nice, the view that you wake up to is amazing

A truly unique camping experience. Away from the crowds, utterly relaxing. Gazing at the ocean and the green fields. Extremely close to nature. Watching the sunset and the city lights below, listening to the rain pattering on the tent. The owner was very nice and patiently explained the facilities to us. Everything we needed for basic living was provided. My friend and I had a wonderful time. The open-air shower was a fantastic experience.

It would be even more perfect if there were a campfire and a hot bath.

What a beautiful and magical place, with such attention to detail. It was so comfortable with everything you need for a little break in nature and the most incredible views. The hosts were so kind and helpful. I highly recommend.

Such a unique place to stay with beautiful views and in a perfect location for getting into the village. The hosts were incredible and gave us such a friendly welcome. Would definitely recommend and we will be back soon hopefully.

I loved the setting and how close it was to central Carlingford. A lot of thought and detail has went into Rosemount Glamping.

A hot shower in the bathroom but the outdoor shower which was hot was pretty refreshing.

Osian & Natasha have created a gorgeous glamping site and hearing Osian outlined how he transformed what was a sloping field at start was absolutely amazing. They say you just need to bring yourself, food and drink as everything else if provided is 100% accurate. Each glamping bell tent has a very very comfortable bed which was fully made up, a very pretty lay out and a wood pellet stove that had been put on ready for us to enjoy the cosy tent. Each glamping tent has it’s own cooking area including a gas bbq and ring as well as a traditional charcoal bbq and again all equipment on site including condiments etc. Every area has its own cold shower and compost toilet and there is a shared warm gas powered shower where you can shower in privacy but ceiling is open to the sky - really lovely experience and such fun. At night all the outside solar lights come on and not only light up the tent harness strings to avoid any trips / falls but makes everything look so gorgeous. The views are glorious. There is a range of toiletries in the shower rooms as well as a cute “welcome tray” of snacks and water in the tent. We absolutely loved the peace and tranquility as well as the ambience and hard work that Osian and Natasha have put into making this a gorgeous site.

Everything about this stay was amazing. The setup was so cosy with a heated stove, and the compost shower was such a cool touch. The views were absolutely incredible and made it feel really special. The facilities were top quality and had everything we needed. The hosts were also fantastic, so friendly, welcoming, and took the time to show us around properly.

My husband and I had the loveliest stay here 😊 Oisín and Natasha were so warm and welcoming when we arrived and made us feel at home straight away. The yurt was spotless cosy and beautifully decorated with the most beautiful sea view, the bed was so comfy and it was lovely and warm with the stove on. The facilities were honestly so impressive they really thought of everything and left absolutely everything you could need for cooking and enjoying the stay. It is so peaceful there with amazing fresh air and even listening to the rain on the tent was magical. There is also a lovely walking route right beside the campsite that leads to an ancient deserted village which was such a cool thing to explore. It is only about a 6 minute drive into Carlingford town which we loved wandering around with its little streets pubs and restaurants and the hosts even left taxi numbers which was so thoughtful 😊

Oisin was super nice host.Explained everything very clearly. We really enjoyed our stay.would highly recommend if you're looking to escape busy city life and just switch off for a while. Thanks 😊

Absolute chill. Everything you need and more.

Loved the lot.

The bed was super comfortable, the views and the amenities were all perfect our nights stay. The lack of light pollution makes it perfect for star gazing.

Nothing, everything was perfect!

We loved absolutely everything about this place. It was so relaxing. We were lucky to get the sunshine, and the views were amazing. I have stayed in a few places and this is the best by far. The yurt was cosy and comfortable. The place had everything you would need. They have thought of everything. And at night all the little lights come on and it's so romantic. The hosts were lovely and showed us how to use everything. And were very kind. Now, if there was a hot tub that really would have put the cherry on the cake 🙃 But even without it was amazing,

Absolutely nothing it was perfect.

It was truly an amazing place to relax and take in the countryside for a few days. Would strongly recommend to anyone looking to have one on one time. I loved how spacious it was and it was just overall so comfortable. The furnace in the tent was nice and toastie once it got colder at night.

We have only just arrived home, and we already miss Fairy Fort. Such a lovely setup inside. Natasha and Oisin were amazing, very welcoming, and gave us a wonderful tour on arrival. The views were amazing looking out over the countryside and sea. The amount of space you get to yourself in the enclosed area was outstanding. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Wish we were still there!😄 Already planning when we can go back. Thank you for a beautiful, restful stay away.

Were do I begin, Natasha and Oisin were phenomenal hosts and gave us a very warm welcome on arrival. The location is fantastic and the views are out of this world! The facilities are second to none and everything we needed for our stay was provided along with some extra bits and bob's which were greatly appreciated. Our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, with great local tips and everything we needed on hand. The glamping accommodations were super cozy and well-designed – warm, clean, and full of thoughtful touches.

My girlfriend and I had the most amazing stay at Rosemount . Óisín and Natasha greeted us upon arrival and explained everything we needed to know for staying there. They were so lovely and made sure we were well taken care of . The tent itself was so beautiful and the attention to detail was amazing. The tent became warm and cosy quick with the fire inside which I felt very safe with. I can’t fault a single thing it was a beautiful stay and we will definitely be back . The hosts were so friendly! A lot of effort has been made, theyve thought of everything from lighting, heat and board games etc. We really enjoyed our stay. The views and accommodation are beautiful!
