The experience was really great! The guys took a very good care of us. The camel ride from Merzouga was at extra cost, but it was all very transparent. It took an hour and we made stops for photos. The desert is really not very big. The camping is very comfortable and clean. We were always offered something. Tea and nuts, then a dinner with a lot of courses, it was even too much. The breakfast was also very good and we could see the sunrise before.
Nothing
We loved the stay and experience in the desert. Was easy to communicate through booking to ask about price for camel ride to the camp. Also later, all details were clear, we were able to choose time for riding to the camp in the afternoon and as well when we want to have breakfast and leave back. If you go with camels, pack your small backpack to take together with you on the camel. Everyone talked good english, so was easy to communicate and ask about nomands life, prices at the markets and etc :D Dinner was very good, we got 3 different tajines (vegetarian, meatballs and chicken), some cake for desert and plate of fruits. For breakfast eggs tajine and fresh orange juice (plus the typical bread and all spreads). In the evening they organized drums near the fire. Seems all the camps had drums, so going while dark on the closest dune and hear the drums while seeing stars was amazing. The camp is well equipped, super comfortable beds (I like soft mattress), also thick duvets, so it wasn't cold at night. Good quality bed linens, clean, shower had plenty of hot water. We were 5 people, got 2tents. Both were spacious, a lot place around beds. Also you can charge at your tent through USB socket. Thanks again for the comfortable stay.
Everything was perfect, staff really friendly, attentive, bet was super comfortable. Really worth visiting!
Was a bit cold at night but we got warm blankets
we had a good time it was the real experience of the desert, the staff were amazing Saaid and Hassan are the best thank you for your hospitality
Great staff, wonderful and friendly, always going the extra mile to make our stay comfortable.
Bathrooms within the tent will be nice. Really challenging to go out at night in the cold to a external WC
Everything! The camp is super charming, a lot of activities are offered, the food was really great and the best people work here. A huge thank you to Hassan, Walid and to Said, you guys are the best we could ask for. Thank you for making Alice's birthday unforgettable!
Not staying here longer..
Very kind stuff, we really liked our stay there. Value for money but keep in mind that is an extra cost for the transfer to the desseret and backwards.
Loved the fire and the music. They have chairs and a table at the top of the dune. Beautiful view of the moonrise and the sunrise/sunset.
We walk by ourself to the desert camp. It was a great experience.
All great! Staff was very nice and always available. Cheap compared to many other options.
Transportation to the camp, compared to the tent rent, was a bit high (20-30€ por person way and back).
The place is very welcoming. Breakfast was very good and big Room was big enough and the mattress was very good
Nothing to complain
Nice calm and cozy place. Incredible food and friendly stuff
Everything was good the staff were so nice and friendly and the Said the owner was super nice and very welcoming with good communication. Thank you to all.
This was an excellent experience..we were very looked after and the hosts were super happy and friendly.. we spent new year there… it was ace 👍 the tents are beautiful and the camels were happy too 🐪🪵🎼🙏 thank you especially to said (happy) new year!!!
everything was perfect
Great and well equipped camp, with a responsive and helpful host! Located in the close proximity of the great dune of merzouga, which offers you possibility of having nice and picturesque night walks. Camp offers both typical moroccan breakfast and dinner, and a music by the fire in the evening. Also have in mind that back and forth transportation costs extra 15$ per person, and that you can choose between camel and 4*4 ride. which is standard pricing for all camps. Also the camp offers various 4*4 tours, camel tours and quads. Just keep in mind that 4*4 tour includes visiting couple of places that are outside the actual desert (senegalese, french and berber village). So if you are interested only in cruising into the dunes of Merzouga, communicate that with driver, who is thoughtful and will adjust your tour.
Everything was great
It is a marvelous place. Don't miss to get up very early and see the sunrise. To travel on a camel is a fantastic experience. The host is a great man, speaks series of languages, care about you, talk with you, make music for you, make photo about you etc. The other staff members are also very-very kind. The lunch and the breakfast is very good and really a big portion. The tents are very comfortable, you can bath, you can charge your phone, so do not worry, it is not a full nomad style of holiday. Please visit them they need tourists... and you need this adventure.
Please be aware that you are arriving to a house where you can park, but it is not the camp. The camp is in the desert a few km from the village. The transfer (Toyota 4x4 or camel) is compulsory and it was 15 EUR / person / direction. Anyway it is worth and all other tent hosts do the same, but it would be fair if it includes in the package.
