View over the beach, very spacious, comfortable. The family that run it are the sweetest.

It’s a little run down, but I suppose that adds to its rustic charm.

Fantastic location with amazing views. Lovely, helpful, welcoming host, large spacious room with air con. Perfect! Originally I was going to book a day trip from Hoi An to do some snorkelling but decided to spend a night on the island and I’m so glad that we did. Our host My helped us with the ferry ticket and also arranged a motorbike for us so we could go around the island and stop at places to snorkel. My also cooked us a delicious evening meal. The island is absolutely stunning and the people are so friendly and welcoming. This was a little dad and daughter trip and the highlight of our two week trip to Vietnam. If you book the day trip then you return to the mainland by 2.30 but if you stay overnight then you see the island at a relaxed pace and away from any crowds. If you are in the Da Nang or Hoi An area then I would highly recommend a trip to the Cham Islands and I highly recommend staying at the wooden cabin. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!

The family was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and made me feel very comfortable during my stay. The homestay has a beautiful view, and both the room and surrounding areas were very clean and well looked after. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it! 😊

The only downsides were that I found the accommodation quite expensive for what was offered, and breakfast was also on the pricey side. Overall, the family were lovely and I appreciated their hospitality.

Super hotel aux chambres soigneusement arrangées avec balcon et très jolie vue sur le petit port de Cham. Depuis l’établissement plusieurs très belles plages sont accessibles à 10 min en scooter. My et sa famille ont été très accueillant et adorables. Le diner est tout aussi copieux que succulent (poisson incroyable) !

L’accueil: My et sa famille sont d’une gentillesse extrême, toujours prêts à rendre service et à faire plaisir. Poisson du jour excellent ! Un pur bonheur! On reviendra, c’est sûr! En plus, possibilité de louer un scooter, matériel de snorkeling,

Chambre pas très bien insonorisée.

De beheerder en haar familie waren meer dan gastvrij. Ze hielp ons met snorkelen en motorbike huren. Ze heeft ook een avond heerlijk gekookt voor ons.

Het eiland is een magneet voor dagtoeristen die het onnodig druk maken. Er is gelukkig genoeg ruimte om je daar aan te onttrekken en te genieten van de schoonheid van Cham.

Comfortable stay. Excellent view on the sea and islands

The owner promised a boat excursion with snorkeling as a gift (we booked 2 rooms for 2 nights). But at chech out it turned out that we should pay for it. We ask to help us to find our transfer boat and to help with our luggage at check out. But the staff have done nothing to help.

It is basic. But i believe it's one of the best places on the island! We sleepy good. Aircon and an amazing view from our terrace. The family was lovely and helped us with everything. We will come back.

My partner and i have been travelling south east asia for the past month and we had an amazing time at cham island wooden cabin, it was honestly one of the best accomodation we found on our entire trip. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, the view was beautiful and the beach is truly at your doorstep. It is everything you could ask for. The family who manage it however, are what make it so special. When we arrived they welcomed us so warmly, and cooked fresh seafood for us on our first night (it was amazing) and they made us feel so at home. They were so kind and helpful all throughout our stay, helping us organise day trips like snorkelling, tour and motorbike rental etc. at the end of our trip we were so sad to say goodbye 😥 please support them!! If we ever come back to cham island we would stay with them again in a heartbeat.

The room was clean and spacious, the AC, fridge and fan worked perfectly. There was also no need to turn on the water boiler in the bathroom and wait for the water to heat up, there was always hot water in the tap. The view was extremely pretty, I could see the sea from any spot of the room. I also saw monkeys jumping around my roof just out my window, but they never bothered me. The owners were really nice and friendly. They offered a motorbike for rent, but I don't drive so I asked for a bicycle and they provided me with one. Every day the landlady would ask me what I'd like for breakfast the next morning, and the food was good. The location is great — only 3-5 minutes walk from the pier and the beach, a lot of nice restaurants and cafés around.

The walls between the guest rooms must be made of some kind of plastic, because it felt like you're sharing the room with your next door neighbors 😭 You can hear every sound and even feel the way the floorboards creak when someone steps on them behind the wall. Some noise isolation would be nice.

Our hostess, My, was the best we’ve had. She took great care and was very observant about our needs. She helped us book activities and had wonderful suggestions. Her cooking was exceptional. We look forward to seeing her and her lovely family again.

We thought everything was perfectly run. A very peaceful place with kind and thoughtful hosts.

The location was fabulous and had brilliant Bay views - the cleanliness was top notch and the hosts were superb! The host offered to cook for us one evening and the meal she produced was fantastic! They could not have done any more to make our stay better.

Отличный домик, местоположение рядом до порта и до разных пляжей, много едален вокруг. Замечательные хозяева, дружелюбные, помогают со всем. Завтраки и ужины были вкусные и свежие. Дают в аренду байк за 200к с бензином. Природа рядом, на веранде большие гекконы, лягушки, обезьяны.

Разве что если у вас большие тяжелые чемоданы, то нужно будет поднимать их по крутым лестницам в комнату.

We had a wonderful stay at the Wooden Cabin. The loveliest greeting from My and Cao, who continued to treat us with kindness and warmth. All our meals were exceptional and it was wonderful interacting with the whole family. We had only booked two nights on the island and even then it was sad to leave! Oh yes - the view is spectacular!

Stunning property in a wonderful location. My and her mother were the perfect hosts and two of the nicest people I have ever met. Very reasonably priced moped available and delicious fresh cooked breakfast. One of our favourite experiences in Vietnam

We’ve just had the most wonderful stay at the Wooden Cabins on Cham Island with My and her beautiful family. Her mother and children are absolutely lovely — so kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. We are incredibly grateful for their generosity and for showing us around the island. My can organise everything you could need — from motorbike hire and island tours to foot massages — and even cooked us a delicious welcome meal with fish she had caught fresh that morning. Such a special touch. The rooms have some of the best views on the island and are perfectly located close to beautiful swimming and snorkelling spots. If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay surrounded by incredible natural beauty, this place is truly something special. The rooms have air conditioning, which is very appreciated, though it’s respectful to switch it off when heading out during the day. Thank you, My and family, for such a memorable experience. We will never forget your kindness.

Le lieu est à la fois typique et très beau., très bien situé pour voir le levé du soleil. Et les deux dames qui nous ont accueillies étaient vraiment très agréables, aux petits soins pour nous, très bienveillantes. On se sentait bien.

The room was beautiful and spacious with incredible views over the bay. Great location with a snorkelling spot right in front (by the boulders).

The walls were paper thin and the couple next door were awake until 4am talking so loudly, playing TV shows on their phones and other things I cant say in here. Then snored the rest of the night. We couldn't sleep at all. They need to add some acoustic attenuation to the rooms. We planned to leave the next day and book somewhere else, but they agreed to move us to another room with a much quieter gentleman next door and we were able to sleep the second night.

Everything was perfect, the location was nice (close to the beach and restaurants) and the room was clean and beautiful. More importantly the quality of the service was incredible, the family is very kind and generous !

We loved everything about it! The room, the housekeeper My and her family, the location, the breakfast. Everything was exceptionally good! Trips like snorkeling were organized for us, My brought me to a small spa to get my nails done. She filled up our scooter with gas and did everything to make us as comfortable as possible. Thank you for this wonderful stay!

Las paredes son MUY finas y se escucha todo. De noche si hay ruido en la calle wow parece que lavaban los platos dentro de la habitación. Además hay muchos monos alrededor que hacen MUCHO ruido. Casi no pudimos dormir la primera noche

Friendly staff, beautiful view, comfy rooms, AC, hot water with good pressure.

Host is really lovely. It's a family with mother, lady and her son. They really welcome you as friends. Our room had a gorgeous view on the sea, and despite having huge volume, air conditioning worked perfectly. The homestay is very close (500m) from both the harbour where speedboats arrive, and a super nice beach with corals and fishes. It's also possible to rent a motorbike from the guesthouse.

It's not a 5 star hotel, but there is none in Cham Island. For homestay, it is really really good

Tout était parfait, la vue depuis la chambre est magnifique mais surtout le personnel est d’une gentillesse extraordinaire.

Es una cabaña muy mona con unas vistas muy chulas al mar! La habitación es grande y está muy bien. Tiene un balconcito muy agradable. Permite alquilar motos para dar la vuelta a la isla y ver todas sus espectaculares playas. La familia es muy acogedora y te incluyen en todo, son majísimas! Hoy mismo han ido a pescar calamares y nos han ofrecido para comer!

Hay 0 insonorización y se escucha todo, dormir cuesta un poquito (se escucha todo lo que pasa fuera y los huéspedes de al lado). Las persianas no tapan el sol al 100% y en cuanto sale el sol a las 6 de la mañana, entra luz en la habitación. Por lo demás todo bien!

Rien de spécial pour le logement mais il faut juste être prêt à un réveil à 5.30am tous les matins par la radio d’état qui donnent les nouvelles dans les hauts parleurs 🤣 et on peut rajouter le karaoke le soir jusqu’à 23h (pas toujours juste)également sur haut parleur. Le charme de l’île! Il faut prévoir de faire du scooter si vous voulez découvrir l’île et ses qqes belles plages.

Wir wurden direkt am Hafen abgeholt und konnten viel früher und direkt ins Zimmer. Das Zimmer ist total gemütlich und hat eine tolle Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer mit herrlichem Sonnenuntergang. Zu unserem schönsten Strand auf unserer Vietnamreise war es nicht weit. Es gibt auch einen anderen Strand direkt vor dem Hotel. Die Affen 🐒 kamen zu uns auf den Balkon. War echt süß. Nur nicht vergessen abzuschließen, sonst durchsuchen die Affen dein Zimmer nach was essbaren 😂

Nice place to stay in an amazing island, nice staff also and big room, nice views.

This is an amazing property with lovely views over the harbour. The family try really hard to be helpful. The beds are really comfortable and our room had a nice balcony to sit on. People have commented about the thin walls and yes, it’s made of wood so you can hear quite a lot around the building, however the construction is the charm of the place.

I haven’t given it full score because there are improvements to be made and it was our most expensive stay. The chairs on the balcony weren’t comfortable enough to spend any time there, our son’s balcony didn’t have any chairs on it at all. We were annoyed that the mopeds were higher price than anywhere else in Vietnam inc down the road. We were expecting them to be a better quality for the extra but they were significantly worse than any others we’ve rented. There’s quite a lot of rubbish around the property; I know it’s probably quite difficult to get rid of. I have no expectation of anyone speaking English but there was some issues with Google translate. For example for the snorkelling trip the time changed three times and we didn’t really know where to be or when to be ready by, it would’ve been helpful if there was an information sheet that said that you had to be ready to leave the homestay by 9:50 to walk to the boat. All we knew was that it started at 10. We had breakfast and the pho was lovely, we ordered a fruit plate which was nice, if a little small, the coffee really wasn’t very good at all

We just loved this place!!! Experiencing cham once The day trippers have left is really special. The host sorted us out with mopeds and was really helpful. Great breakfast. Rooms basic but clean and spacious.

Watch out for the monkeys! We left our swimming gear out on the balcony and the monkeys threw it into the street below.

absolutely great location with sea view and great service

Thuy é assolutamente collaborativa ancora prima dell 'arrivo. Ci ha aiutato con i biglietti per il traghetto e si è prodigata per ogni nostra richiesta. Ci ha affittato uno scooter per una cifra irrisoria e organizzato gita per vedere la barriera corallina. Colazione deliziosa vista mare e camera veramente caratteristica

Il bagno è diviso da una paratia da quello della camera accanto e questo limita un po' la privacy perché la parte alta rimane aperta

Camera spaziosa, letti grandi e molto comodi. Pulizia impeccabile e buona colazione. Un grazie speciale a Tui, sempre gentile e disponibile, anche se non parla inglese: con il traduttore ci ha aiutati in tutto. Ottima esperienza!

Nos quedamos en este hotel 2 dias. La ubicación era buena y la cama no estaba mal. El desayuno que ofrecian estaba bueno. Y además nos ayudó a gestionar los tickets del barco que te lleva del continente a la isla.

La habitación da pared con pared como si tuvieras un biombo con otra habitacion. Y se escucha TODO a ambos lados, hasta suspirar. El WC no estaba limpio del todo (había restos de cagada o vómito en el wáter). Para hacer snorkel nosotros nos llevamos nuestros propios tubos y le pedimos unas gafas. Nos indicó que era gratis porque las cogía todo el mundo y al final del fin de semana nos la quiso cobrar. Como le pusimos mala cara no nos la cobró, pero ya hay que andar discutiendo. En la habitación se indica que se puede pagar con tarjeta y cuando pagamos nos decía que en efectivo. Como le pusimos mala cara, finalmente nos sacó el datáfono. El agua que en todas partes nos daban gratis, también nos la quiso cobrar después. También cuando nos quemamos en la playa y le preguntamos donde comprar aloe vera nosotros, se ofreció a dárnoslo ella y nos lo vendió a un precio bastante sobrevalorado. El remate también fue que les alquilamos las motos a ellos y tuvimos que cambiar 3 veces la moto porque estaban mal ( o arrancaban mal y mi chico se cayó de una de ellas, o no les funcionaban las luces y no podías volver de noche de la playa teniendo en cuenta que anochecia a las 18:30)

Such a peaceful place! The room is comfortable and Thuy is the best host. She even helped to book our speedboat tickets to the island. We had to leave the island earlier and she charged our stay accordingly. She is a very helpful host!

Great place very close to the center with a great view. Beautiful ans stylish wooden construction with different levels, rooms are big with a balcony and sea view. Thuy and My were really super helpful and always available to guide us (or do on our behalf) re activities, motorbike renting, restaurant, etc. Super hosts! Only caveat: the room acoustic insulation is very low. Not a problem for us as we were with the family
