Living Stone Boutique Hotel

Great location, minutes walk from Monastaraki Square and surrounded by good bars, coffee shops and restaurant. Whole property was spotless and our room had a great balcony with hot tub and views of the Acropolis. Room and public areas smelled amazing and the staff were extremely helpful and gave some great advice. Picky Bits (literally next door) was a good option for breakfast. Bathroom super clean and a huge shower.

Location was great, with many very good restaurants nearby, and a short walking distance from the Acropolis. Alex was an excellent and helpful host when he was on site. The hot tub, when it was working. Fabulous shower.

Unfortunately, the hot tub stopped working the second day and there were no staff available to help solve the problem.

Nous avons tout apprécié. L’établissement est idéalement situé, au cœur d’un quartier animé. La chambre était spacieuse, tout comme la salle de bains, avec une douche très confortable. La terrasse avec vue sur l’Acropole était spectaculaire, et le jacuzzi prêt à l’emploi a vraiment rendu la soirée encore plus agréable.

No cleaning service every day. We made it work and the staff downstairs were very helpful with everything we needed.

The location is prime, very near the Acropolis, the staff were very friendly and the room was very modern and also huge!

We were shown a room in a separate building that I would not recommend - it was a stark contrast to the one that we stayed in. Very dingy building and dingy room too. The staff were great about it and we did not end up staying in that room.

Son emplacement proche du quartier Monasteraki est très bien, assez calme. La chambre est assez spacieuse, confortable, propre et climatisée même pour une famille de 4! Je tiens à remercier le personnel avec lequel nous échangions à distance pour avoir solutionner nos besoins de taxi.

J’avais réservé une chambre quadruple, avec une vue sur l’Acropole et un jacuzzi sur terrasse, nous étions au 1er étage dont les fenêtres données sur un patio intérieur, donc pas de vue, ni de terrasse, ni de jacuzzi.

Clean, spacious and lovely staff

Although the hotel is on a quiet road, the area around it is not as lovely as nearby Plaka. It’s near a busy road but you don’t hear anything at all.

The location of the apartment was really good, everything was close by to reach, all the shops, good restaurants. The conditioning of the room was easy to use and good, very nice the complimentary wine and of course the terrace and jacuzzi was great. Another thing worthwhile to mention was the host, he was very pleasant and helpful.

The first thing that comes to mind is the towels, I did not like the quality of them and the robes as well, they seemed rewashed a lot of times and the quality was not good to the skin. I missed some hooks or something to hand the towels and the robes on, since the apartment is small and there was no extra space for those.

What there's not to like in a boutique hotel with super clean rooms, best location in town and an amazing staff? I highly recommend you to book this place, onyx room was exactly what we needed! Amazing place to rest especially with the hot tub at the balcony.

The room was nicely designed - warm and clean. Wine, water and coffee were waiting for us. The jacuzzi was relaxing after a day of walking. We took the temperature down and used it to refresh. The Picki- the coffee shop underneath - was very good for breakfast. The area was perfect - walking distance from everything in the city. Metro 4 mins walk. Bars and restaurants 2 mins walk. The best part was Alex and Harry, the staff at the reception. They always smiled at us and helped us. It gave us a welcoming feeling. Highly recommended!

Location, Location, Location! Seems that two nights were not enough and we will make sure to come back again. The room was absolutely fantastic, in an area that is the most vibrant in Athens. Can’t say much to describe it and I would definitely recommend it.

It was quiet.

It should not be described as a Boutique Hotel, its is Studio accommodation only - no hotel facilities are provided. Not impressed, a very impersonal transactional experience. Jacuzzi much too large for the balcony space, poor design and no storage for clothes etc. Mattress needs to be changed as it offers little support (sinks) plus the flat sheet did not fit the bed and towels very old and worn.

A bit pricey

Confort moderne. Superbe emplacement, en plein cœur du quartier de Psirri, mais dans une ruelle très calme. L’acropole esba 15 mn à pied et tous les quartiers sympa (plaka…) de la ville sont également à 10 ou 15 mns à pied. Nous avions une voiture et avons pu la garer à 2mbs à pied. Parking payant mais garde. Nous étions 4 dans un appartement avec canapé lit et lit double. Pour quelques jours ça passe mais un peu serré tout de même. Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse pour découvrir Athènes.

The views of the Acropolis are legitimate, and excellent. The room we had was large, clean and comfortable.

This is a great apartment & the position is perfect. The staff were extremely helpful at all times. Be aware though that only the room on the top floor has access to the balcony & jacuzzi. I may have misread the description when booking but I did think our room had a balcony. Saying that, the room though was excellent & I don't have any hesitation in recommending this accommodation.

Tremendously kind and responsive host! I really appreciated the luggage assistance and storage! Hot tub functioned great and with privacy. Spacious room in a great location. I slept very well. The plants throughout the property are beautiful and thriving. Great vibes.

Fabulous boutique hotel best location in Athens midst some really cool Boho bars and places to eat. The hotel room we stayed was the pearl and it was stunning ! Amazing incredible view and a great hot tub to relax in after a very hot walk exploring all the amazing sites of Athens ! Don’t hesitate to book this place you won’t regret it ! Thanks for looking after us on our short two night stay ☺️

The hot tub a delight and the view … THE VIEW!!! Incredible to sit in the hot tub and see the stunning Acropolis lit up in the evening enjoying the complimentary wine thank you !

Excellent location, sleek design, very clean and comfortable, loved everything!

The location was very convenient to walk to tourist sites. The bed was comfortable and the private hot tub was a surprise. The staff was very kind and helpful in booking transportation to the airport and cruise terminals.

The elevator was tiny. There was a bit of street noise but nothing we couldn’t sleep through.

We enjoyed this little haven in the center of this trendy area. I especially enjoyed the spa after walking miles through Athens every day to see all of its treasures. The owner gave us helpful suggestions for restaurants nearby and they were all great!

Very well maintained, clean and modern facilities. Loved the detailed instructions to help with a late check-in, and cordial behaviour of the host. The food options around the hotel are fantastic!

Neighborhood is a little so-so. Not too shabby, not great.

Our room should win an award for the best use of a small space. Each fixture and furniture was a perfect fit for the space. We had a great patio with a view of the Parthenon. Everything about the room is more elevated than we expected.

Excellent location in Psiri, very central within walking distance of everything. The building is secure and the room is beautifully renovated - we particularly enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the parthenon and asteroskopeion observatory. The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable, we also appreciated the ceiling fan and excellent hairdryer. We were lucky as there was street parking available nearby, as parking in the nearby paid facilities is very expensive. Overall this was a great stay with excellent communication throughout. Many wonderful things about it.

I would have given 10/10 for the accommodation and would gladly stay here again on future visits to Athens.However, the noise level was a real problem and disrupted our sleep. It wasn’t street noise (the double‑glazed windows are excellent); the problem is that the room doors lack insulation, so you can hear every arrival, door‑closing and conversation in the corridor, which disrupted our sleep. In the room & bathroom there are no hooks to hang towels, something that can easily be fixed and would be helpful.

The property is located in very busy area, waliking distance to every important tourist place in Athens. The windows are so good, no noise is entering inside the rooms! (I need the brand :)

The location was central and there were plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The bed was comfortable, the shower good, and great decor. Staff were always available if there was a problem.

Not a fan of the wash basin being in the bedroom. There are no drawers or shelves to put clothes-just an open hanging rail. Also, nowhere to hang towels. The hot tub is not really suitable for the balcony: it is squeezed in and too overlooked. The balcony would be better without it. The description of the place as a boutique hotel is wrong. There is no breakfast or shared amenities. It is a studio flat.

Nell'appartamento al primo piano la porta di ingresso si scontrava con la porta del bagno se entrambi erano aperte. Si suggerisce di montare la porta del bagno al contrario.

The balcony was really great. Very spacious and the view was great.

We were not able to control the AC and were very hot. We tried to open the window but it wasn’t cool enough and the street noise was too loud. The room also smelled bad, possibly due to the hot tub?

La localisation est exceptionnelle, tout peut être fait à pied et le quartier est le plus charmant d'Athènes. Le personnel est très agréable et prévenant. Tout est de grande qualité, les matériaux, les équipements, la décoration... La vue est magique. Merci d'avoir rendu notre séjour si merveilleux ! Nous reviendrons :)
