Hannah's Cottage

Everything. We stayed at Hannah’s Cottage from 5th to 8th September and it was simply fantastic. The house is in a quite area and is perfect to reach the Ring of Carry and Slea Head Drive. The house is very clean, comfortable and nice. Thera are any type of facilities (i.e. washing machine, dishwasher, microwave oven, every kind of pots and pans, induction cooktop and a air fryer too). There are three bad rooms with very comfortable bad. The bathroom is very clean and there is a good shower. In the end I would like to spend a few words about the host. Pat is simply a lovely and welcoming person. Thank you Pat!!! I definitely recommend it.

It was cozy. It had a good feeling to it. We enjoyed sitting outside for a meal. Pleasant looking out on the garden. It was quiet. There was a good place to eat down the road. The host was a great guy, very helpful, had good suggestions for us. Overall, an enjoyable stay.

We had a lovely stay at Hannah's Cottage. Pat gave us a warm welcome and said goodbye. He was very attentive throughout our stay. The cottage was also in perfect condition and very clean. We would definitely return!

Lovely & perfect cosy cottage, well equipped kitchen with everything you need for cooking for the family. Very clean! We had a great time, sitting outside between all the flowers, backyard with shed to dry the washings. Nice pub in walking distance, shops nearby. Big thanks to Pat for the warm welcome and all the tips & recommendations for visiting the area! The Kerry airport nearby is no problem, only very few planes, no airport-traffic.

Great stay, We didn't know the location well but will definitely go back as it#s really central to plenty of other good towns for day trips. Train station too, which we will use to explore next time. Pat was a great host. Greeted us with a cup of tea and made sure we were well looked after.

We absolutely loved Pat, with his friendly attitude and very helpful advice regarding routes to take and suggested stops. The place is immaculate, the bed extremely comfortable, and the pike was at hand if we wanted to help turn the freshly cut hay.( Ha-ha-ha). We thoroughly enjoyed the silence, despite the airport being across the road from the house. 11 out of 10!!!

No breakfast option Pat was good guide and helpful .we enjoyed our stay in cottage .we enjoyed the little garden.Highly recommend for family stay. I would definitely recommend to my friends.

Pat is a very warm and accommodating host. All the basic necessities for a comfortable stay were provided. Peaceful and cozy place.

Would love if the water pressure on the shower is stronger.

Everything - The beds were comfortable, everything was really clean, kitchen/bathroom/bedrooms were well equipped. Location was great, close to loads of places/people we were visiting. Pat is excellent - a lovely man who got us all settled in and is very friendly and very quick to respond to any messages.

The location was perfect. Near to Kerry Airport and a ten minute walk into Farranfore

I am quite short and didn't like the fixed shower head. Also I had to be very careful in the shower cubicle as the wet floor became very slippery. Also a steamer for cooking vegetables might be handy as lots of people like to steam their vegetables these days.

Clean and well presented

The owner was so, so nice! He was there when we needed him and ver accommodating! The house is in a great location if you have a car. Easy to get to the 3 loops near Killarney. The house was very clean too! We appreciated the laundry, dish washer, and maps.

There seemed to be a lack of trash cans?

Hôte accueillant et bienveillant, dans un cottage Irlandais typique de caractère. Le confort n'est pas moderne mais tout le nécessaire est présent. La literie est confortable, la salle de bain refaite à neuf avec une plomberie impeccable! A distance de la route, pas de bruits pour la nuit.

Everything was perfect at the property but the best part was Pat (the host). He made us feel right at home (especially with a hot cup of tea on arriving), was super helpful and we loved chatting with him...thanks Pat for making our stay memorable.

The location was very good, its a perfect base to see as much of the area as you can. The owner Pat is a legend, our kids called him Legend Pat! Gave us all the right info and made sure we had everything. The area outside of the cottage was very big, enough field for the kids to play in. Great place and great value for money

It's a lovely tidy clean cottage in a central location. The main man Pat met us on arrival and before we were right in the house the kettle was boiled and the tea was on! Three good size double rooms and all the facilities you need. Pat was very helpful with weather updates and trip suggestions by message during our stay. Everything went very smoothly and would have no qualms about staying again. The central location really worked for us but it does mean you are driving every day.

The cottage is quite close to Kerry airport but the flights are so infrequent that they rarely cause any disturbance.

It’s a basic cottage with a lot of family history. Only essentials but very clean.

Nice, cozy cottage with everything you need (internet, washing machine, dishwasher etc). There is also a nice outdoor area to sit outside. The host is very kind and helpful and has lots of tips for excursions. I'd love to come back.

The host is very nice and friendly. But he has a strong accent so beware :) When looking for a cheap place near Killarney, I believe this is your best bet.

Great location (opposite Kerry Airport) Pat, the host, was so friendly and welcoming. The cottage was so quaint and old worldy, it reminded me of my granny's house and was a lovely experience for our 3 children (13, 10, 8).

The facilities were amazing, we loved it. A very cozy, well maintained country house with a lot of history, the beds were amazing (slept very well) and above all the host Pat was very helpful and kind. The house is very warm, there is everything you need. I recommend it if you want to spend a weekend away from the bustle of the city

First, the cottage is a 9-minute flat walk from the Kerry Airport. It is back from the road and quiet for morning breakfast in the garden. The train station, grocery, and a pub with reasonably priced food is a 10-minute flat walk away. Finally and not the least important, I want you to know that Pat Kennedy can beat GOOGLE every time! He knows Kerry so well and was amazing in making our visit the BEST! We saw sights we would not have known to see.

Please be aware this is a cottage not a hotel room. I found it to be perfect in every way but some might want crisp linens and plush towels, and no spiders. I slept well, loved the shower, and escorted a spider or two out the door. I plan to stay in Hannah's Cottage if I am fortunate to visit Ireland again.

We had a wonderful time at the cottage. We were met by Pat who welcomed us with coffee and cake and top tips of the best places to visit during our stay. The cottage is delightful. Microwave, hob, washing machine along with all the basic necessities. Double bedrooms with super comfy beds. A beautiful little garden to relax. Thank you Pat for your warm welcome. We will be back!

No negative comments from us. Everything was perfect.

Pat was very welcoming and always happy to oblige our needs, whilst providing excellent knowledge of the area. We all had a lovely time. We didn't try the WiFi as we have a good data deal from the UK, but I believe it would gave been grand. In reality, it was mostly a hub location to explore the area from, but it would have been just as nice to spend longer time there in comfort.
