Vriendelijk personeel, ruime kamer, goede prijs kwaliteit.

De kleine hond blaft de hele dag, deze heeft een zeer hoge blaf die zeer frustrerend is. Ook zitten er kippen naast je kamer, waardoor je om 05:00u word wakker gemaakt door de haan. Ook zijn er momenteel zeer luide werken aan de gang, maar hier hebben ze uiteraard geen invloed op.

The place is located within a family property, whilst in a busy road, the room is at the back and it's very quiet. The family was very welcoming and friendly, my daughter and I loved the place, and It was one of our favourites in Ubud. The room was clean and comfortable, great shower - although it's a strong spray so make sure you take the head off first before turning on ! The family was able to meet so many of our requests, and did so happily. We were provided fresh water and tea. We hired a motorbike from the family during our stay, which I think is essential for exploring Ubud. The grandfather is a driver too, for any longer trips.

He estado en dos ocasiones en Ubud y ambas me he quedado en este lugar. Es un negocio familiar muy bien cuidado, la habitación es muy limpia y espaciosa. Toda la gente que vive ahí es muy amable y educada, siempre sonriendo y preguntando qué tal te fue el día. Además de poder descansar tranquilamente puedes pedir un masaje por un módico precio. Justo al lado hay una lavandería muy económica y en esa misma calle hay varios restaurantes con comida local y muy buenos zumos naturales. 100% recomendable si buscas tranquilidad y descanso. Volveré en mi siguiente visita a Ubud sin dudarlo.

Очень приятные и хорошие хозяева. Заботятся, готовят кофе и чай. Просторный номер, можно проводить время на веранде на улице. Чисто, комфортно. Есть кулер с водой, чайник. Если что-то понадобится всегда можете попросить хозяев!

The homestead itself is a peaceful sanctuary surrounded by lush greenery, blending traditional Balinese charm with comfort and thoughtful details. Waking up there felt like a dream — especially with the perfect, delicious morning coffee that we looked forward to every day. Slow mornings in such a beautiful setting were pure bliss. One of the absolute highlights was having access to the aunt’s massage business right on the property. Walking straight out of our room and into a massage felt like a true dream. Her massage was easily one of the best we had in Ubud — incredible skill, deep relaxation, and at such a great price. It added a whole extra layer of care and indulgence to our stay.

It was inexpensive. Before departure, the owner acknowledged how problematic the accommodation was — especially the morning construction work right next to my room — apologized, and asked me not to leave a negative review.

After my arrival, I couldn’t sleep because of constant dog barking. At that point, I had no idea that early in the morning workers would start construction using drills and angle grinders barely three meters from my head. No one informed me in advance. I practically found myself in the middle of a construction site early in the morning. It was very unfair not to tell it in advance and keep the accommodation open for guests even if I understand the need of continuous income.

Lionk is perfectly located in central Ubud and is run with exceptional friendliness and generosity!

Lionk Bali House it feels like home. The family that manges the place is realy welcoming. What I liked the most is that we had really nice conversations with different member of the family and they allowed us to discover more about their culture. The room was cleaned and smelled really good when we arrived. Quiet place and you can also rent scooters for a good price. We really felt like home! Thank you!

Lionk's place was the best of the 6 hosts I visited in that one month time I have spent in Bali last months and he stood out with his very friendly personality and his all family. Basically there are houses around and they're all the same family, 4generation from the very lovely and polite kids to the 90+ Grandfather of Lionk who is a traditional Balinese painter. When I got there I had Bali belly and they cooked for me food for days, took very good car of me like if I was a part of the family's once I got better we cooked together Balinese food, enjoyed time together and shared great memories with Lionk and his with his friends, they invited me out for drinks and singing in the evening. They even gave me presents for Christmas even if they don't even celebrate Christmas, it was such am amazing gesture. I learnt the most of Balinese culture from him and l have to say if there was one thing I have to choose what I appreciate the most of my 30days holiday in Bali it was that I was bale to make friend with such a fantastic people like him and his all entire family. I will definitely be back there once I go back to Bali and I really will. Thanks for everything my friend, I wish you and your family all the best!

THE BEST PART: the family, their attentiveness, and their willingness to help and get whatever you need. On the day of the Galungan ceremony, they lent me clothes to dress in traditional attire and invited me to share their prayers and blessings. Everyone in that house is so loving. I arranged transportation from the airport with them (IDR 400,000), and the father was waiting for me there when I arrived. If you ask, they'll organize any excursion you want. I also rented a motorbike from them for 14 days (IDR 50,000 per day, starting from one week), and it worked perfectly (a Scoopy 125). I asked if I could leave my suitcase there while I explored the island by motorbike, and they had no problem storing it for 10 days (at no extra cost). The location is great; it's close to Ubud but away from the hustle and bustle. The street is busy, but the room is at the back of the house, so you can't hear the cars. The Wi-Fi and air conditioning worked perfectly.

NEEDS IMPROVEMENT: The mattress is old and uncomfortable. The sheets are very worn and have stains that won't come out.

El alojamiento está muy limpio, es acogedor y tiene una ubicación excelente. La familia que lo gestiona es increíblemente amable y gentil; desde el primer momento se preocuparon por nosotros, incluso aunque solo pasamos una noche. El sitio es pequeño, pero perfecto para su precio, muy cómodo y con todo lo necesario. Además, ofrecen agua mineral, algo que se agradece muchísimo en una zona tan calurosa. Nos vamos muy agradecidos y con una sensación súper bonita. Lo recomendamos sin duda.

入口には植物が沢山あり、バリ島の伝統芸術の絵画が沢山飾ってあり、ウブドらしい感性に魅了されました。部屋も清潔で美しく、経営されているご家族もとても温かく癒されました。毎朝のモーニングコーヒー、ティ。ありがたかったです。バリマッサージを依頼出来るのですが、気持ちよくリーズナブル。レンタルバイクもお得。空港までの送迎も有料ですが施設の方にお願いできます。ウブドアートマーケットまで10分。沢山の観光地まで行きやすい場所。キンタマーニ高原まで１時間かかりますが、是非こちらのお宿に宿泊して行って欲しい場所です。宿の名前にハウスとついているようにゲストも家族のように温かく迎えてくださり、また帰ってきたい場所になりました。

強いて言えば、私達の旅のあり方を考えると冷蔵庫があったら有り難かったです。

우선 숙소가 너무 깔끔하고 주인장 리온이 친절해서 기분 좋게 숙소에 머물수 있었어요!

Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeberfamilie. Konnten direkt in der Unterkunft einen Roller für 70k pro Tag mieten. Der Verkehr vor der Haustür ist meistens ganz angenehm zum Rollerfahren. Zu manchen Zeiten aber auch sehr hektisch. Außerdem wurden wir bei der Abreise von der Familie für einen guten Preis weiter gefahren (Taxi). Wäscheservice direkt um die Ecke. Viele Möglichkeiten zum Essen in der Umgebung. Eine Massage wird ebenfalls von der Familie angeboten. Es ist sehr sauber und komfortabel. Allerdings ist die Tür nicht Schalldicht und man hört die Geräusche von draußen sehr laut. Bei unserem Aufenthalt befanden sich Wildkatzen auf dem Grundstück, welche teilweise sehr lange nachts sehr laute Geräusche von sich gegeben haben. Dafür kann die Gastgeberfamilie aber natürlich nichts. Den Straßenverkehr hörte man in unserem Zimmer überhaupt nicht. Wir hatten aber auch ein Zimmer ganz hinten. Der Hund bellt immer, wenn man ankommt. Die Familie kommt aber sofort zur Hilfe und versucht ihn zu beruhigen. Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Bei unserem Aufenthalt explizit die Wildkatzen, welche nachts teilweise sehr laut waren. Dafür kann die Familie aber nichts, weshalb wir dafür auch keinen Punktabzug geben.

Staying here was one of the most special experiences of our trip to Ubud. From the very beginning we were welcomed not as guests, but as part of the family. Lionk, the owner, was always available and full of helpful tips, making everything so easy and enjoyable. We loved cooking and eating with the family, and his aunt’s massage place right next door offers the best massages, the perfect way to unwind after exploring. Taking part in the daily blessing ceremony was another highlight, such an intimate and authentic experience that gave us a true glimpse into Balinese life. The location is ideal, just a short 10-minute taxi ride or a 20-minute walk to Ubud center, close enough to the action but peaceful enough to relax. What made this place truly unforgettable, though, was the warmth and kindness of the family. They didn’t just host us; they cared for us as if we belonged. By the time we left, it felt like saying goodbye to family. If you’re looking for a stay in Ubud that’s authentic, welcoming, and full of heart, I can’t recommend this place enough.

Nothing, everything was absolutely great.

Fantastic place! You will experience an authentic local experience by sharing the space with a lovely balinese family: Lionk, his wife Lia and their 2 beautiful sons, plus his dad and grandfather (amazing painter!) are the perfect hosts. The room is big, clean and comfortable and every room has a small porch in which you can enjoy a coffee or tea gently provided by them. A big plus of the space is also a massage parlor and an art gallery, with stunning paintings made by the family members that you can also purchase. If I will go back to Ubud I'll definitely go there again: highly recommended!

The only con was the annoying noise made by a rooster in the middle of the night really close to my room, coming from the guesthouse next to it: this is not the owner's fault, but it's something that should be solved in order to guarantee a good sleep for the guests.

The room and the bathroom were super clean, the shower pressure was good and the water gets hot fast. The hosts are super helpful and very welcoming. The aircon worked well and there was even a fan for those who prefer. The monkey forest is nearby and the center is close to get to by motorbike or by Grab. Overall, we had a pretty good stay for really good value for money. We would definitely come back again if we had to visit Ubud.

Incredibly comfortable room with the softest bed and blankets, I slept so well. I loved the location in the city and enjoyed many restaurants nearby. The family here is welcoming and treated me like a part of their home, sharing delicious fruit with me and making me tea and coffee. I felt so grateful for their help carrying my bags and waiting with me for my transport out of Ubud. This place is fantastic and I will definitely come back here. Thank you for your kindness and help! And a bonus: they have very cute pets, I love their dog and baby chicken :)

Peaceful compound near more artistic areas and not touristy but close to shops and cafes and close enough to centre. Perfect WiFi, fan, strong hot water, good ac, nice personal terrace and closet space. Run by a family of artists and a a massage therapist in a temple atmosphere. Modern and clean inside room. Coffee shop across the street and cheap and fast laundry beside. About a 30 minute walk to the yoga barn. Spacious room.

Its a Beautiful room in the South end of Ubud. EXTREMELY clean. Very well maintained. Much, much better than I expected. I arrived quite late, but the staff maintained frequent contact with me via WA.

La struttura è comoda confortevole, pulita e quieta!

If you are looking for a place where you can feel at home during your time in Bali - this is it! The rooms are spacious, comfortable and cleaned regularly, and the location is great to explore Ubud and the surrounding area. But most importantly: the whole family is very welcoming and incredibly helpful. They all go the extra mile to make you feel at home and help you enjoy your trip as much as possible. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Ubud and I recommend it to anyone visiting too!

The property is home to Lionk and his family or are all really nice and welcoming. They are always there to help and give you advice. Very spacious room we booked room without air con but the fan was fine for us and we enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

The hospitality and how clean it was

Hospitality, cultural experience, art gallery, spa and massage, and very welcoming family. They arranged the transfers and helped with everything we needed. Lionk is very knowledgeable, speaks many languages, and is a great tour guide with a deep cultural understanding. If you are into participating in cultural ceremonies and dances, this is the best place to stay and be respected and respectful. Suksama

The people are lovely, they will make you feel very welcome. The dog was also nice to me and the price was good (I think $70 AUD for 4 nights)

The bathroom had no ventilation and a strong cleaning smell that they did fix. Small window openings in the bedroom let in lots of bugs which made sleeping a bit uncomfortable. The area is not walkable, so a scooter or car is needed to leave the property. I’m not a fan of seeing caged birds, though they seemed well cared for. The room was more run-down than the photos showed. I don’t think it was the right fit for me personally.

Such a lovley stay super clean room smelt so lovley and the owners and there family are so welcoming and sweet would recommend this stay to anyone planning to go to Ubud, perfect location too!!! :)

I have stayed 3 nights with Lionk and his family. It has been a very good experience, they welcome you and make you feel part of them and their culture! It is very close to all the places to visit! A wonderful Homestay Experience ! I can’t recommend it enough ! From the moment I arrived,the family made me feel incredibly welcome. The room is very big and charming.Plus very comfortable, it is in front of a garden.The location was also perfect,allowing me to explore the area easily.But what stood out the most was the kindness end the generosity of the hosts.

Perfect stay in Lionk Bali House, room is comfortable and really nice. It was amazing to spend time with the family and learn more about Balinese culture. We also took a dancing class and went to the temple together. Thank you so much !

The staff was super kind and welcoming, location of the property was also good because it was close to popular caffès and shops.

The only problem was the roosters who wake you up early in the morning, but in ubud this is a problem in almost all places.

Very peaceful and quaint, while still being in a good location. You’ll be living amongst the kindest Balinese families. Lionk and his family are also very warm and welcoming. I felt like I had a home away from home right away. My friend & I stayed here for over a week and will likely default to staying here when I go back to Ubud.

Location is ideal if you want to visit Ubud because it is central, yet the room is very quiet. The bathroom is also big considering the average homestays. The green in front of the room is very relaxing. Lionk's family is very welcoming with smiles all day!

Amazing hosts who are so helpful and attentive! They helped us plan a day trip at an amazing price and arranged a driver for us even at short notice. The room was large, comfortable and full of beautiful artwork too. The facilities are clean, and the shower is very hot and powerful which is great. Very short walk to get to centre of Ubud and Sacred Monkey Forest so the location is ideal to get around on foot. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

How can we rate this stay with less than the maximum when at our arrival the first words that Lionk said to us were “you are going to be part of my family, so please feel welcome”? He kept his word, being an exceptional host that was always happy to join us for a smoke while giving us the best advices regarding places to visit and ways to moving around. We were humbled by his efforts to make his home a place ready to welcome people from every part of the world: he is renovating the place and has big plans that involve all his family and connections. His father is the best driver in Ubud and was more than happy to bring us around for the best price! They also invited us to the best night we had in Indonesia so far: his daughter’a birthday, a celebration full of love, music and genuine laughter! We’ll definitely come back to visit this amazing family! 💙💙

It is an incredible experience to be able to live in the midst of a Hindu family. It was a great pleasure to meet you. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in the Kajeng Kliwon ceremony with you. As it is a homestay, one cannot and does not want to expect the quality of a luxury hotel but rather get in touch with other people and cultures - which you can definitely do here. You immediately feel like a member of the family
