Reviewed Aug 10, 2026We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Our room had a beautiful view of Taal Volcano, which made the experience even more special. Room also had a pleasant and refreshing smell, which made it feel clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The weather during our stay was also cool and pleasant, perfect for enjoying the view and relaxing.

Basic and simple unit, sira na ibang furnitures and fixtures and also may black molds pa sa ceiling ng CR. i stayed with my mom and 3 sons (w/ pwd) i had to pay 2000 pesos extra and another 800 for violation fee daw pang couple lang daw ang room, plus i rented a car park 500. Maaga kami nagcheck out and we made sure na malinis ang unit before we leave. "Better stay at a hotel." One thing weird ng smdc may picture taking pa mga guests.. like whaat?! ito pala yong nababasa ko online.

My room view is not in the front of the lake, so you should always have double check, while placing your room booking. On the spot, I can’t even allow to pay extra money to upgrade my room of the lake view, which was not flexible and very disappointing to a foreigner traveler who would not probably come back to Tagaytay again. What a pity! Not ideally, the door chain lock should be fixed up before you serve your guests, as the security is the most importance and minimum requirement to your guest traveling alone. Also, the window shades are not working well from the sunrise side, and especially when the bedroom sliding door isn’t properly working. You can literally wake up by the strong sunlight.

Reviewed Feb 9, 2026I like the location, especially the overlooking view of the Taal Lake. The unit is accessible to nearby groceries. My parents and my son enjoyed the view. Comfy bed and sofa bed. My dad enjoyed his morning exercise around the residences. The property owner and her contact person were very accommodating.
The shower curtain is a bit small which makes the bathroom floor wet. The reservation though is for 4 pax, but the towels are just for 2.

The facilities such as parking need to pay per hour + additional per night. The parking is far, 10-15 mins walking distance.

Would've been better if there was at least a microwave for heating food aside from the rice cooker & water heater.

The unit is quite old and could use some updates. There were visible signs of mold on the walls, and there was a noticeable odor throughout the space. Unfortunately, the water heater didn’t work well—it barely heated the water. Overall, the stay wasn’t very comfortable due to these issues.

It’s actually not like. It’s just an incident that everybody didn’t expected to happen. But we already sort things out and I can tell that everyone really cared. And I’m thankful for it , it means a lot❤️

The parking fee is expensive I paid 700 for 2 days (which is beyond the unit owner's control) Small cockroaches every now and then something to check/consider. Overall: very good!! Iwill book in the future as I really like this place!

Toilet needs mprovement (Toilet bowl stains) The elevator experience on that Tower 5 bldg is horrific. It takes 15 MINUTES WAITING to ride an elevator going up and down. Tower 5 is also the farthest to the clubhouse where the swimming pool is.

Went there past our check in time and yet when we arrived the receptionist said the registered name in the email (c/o our contact from the hotel) was different from ours so we need an authorization letter from our contact. i contacted them but they said they were in the middle of doing something. we had no choice except to cancel. it was past 10 in the evening, we just arrived from our 5hr commute, we were tired and just wanted to rest so we just walked-in on nearby hotels
