Kiters Heaven Resort kalpitiya Sri Lanka

This is not just a small resort it is also a very good place to eat Nilus restaurant serves delicious home cooked food . The owner is a kite surfing instructor and lessons and equipment can be booked with him directly. It was the owners and their children that made our stay so nice.

The bathroom was small with no place to put things so everything got very wet from the shower. The space was partly open. Again the 2 beds filled the room making it very cramped, but under the circumstances of the more recent cyclone it was a nice place.

Great location (dolphin watching operator around the corner). Super friendly host and restaurant on site. Decent beach nearby

You can eat there, you can kite surf, you can work by the table. It's close to the beach. The owners are very welcoming.

We just didn't like Kalpitiya, I'd recommend this place (Kalpitiya) if you are a kitesurfer, but that's it.

We decided to come to Kalpityia spontaneously and made a last minute booking. The owner was very welcoming and friendly, we felt really comfortable there. He made us an excellent dinner too. The whole area is basically a family business, all people we met were really warm and friendly. The accommodation is just a stone's throw from the beach, which is particularly great for kite surfing. It's a peaceful place surrounded by nature, perfect for both relax and activities.

This is the place to stay if you are visiting kalpitiya. The room is simple but has all the needed materials to have a good night sleep. Highlight of the property is the owner Meryl, his wife and kids. Meryl arranged us bicycles to ride around for 1000 LKR and helped us getting a tuktuk in the morning to the bus station (which was cheaper than taking it by ourselves when we first got there). Overall great experience.

Located just 100 meters from the beach this place is really beautiful. Meryl the host is really friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean. Although breakfast included can be improved. Overall very pleasant stay at kiters heaven.

2000 rs for fried rice:(

We had a great stay as a family with Meryl. The homestay is in a relaxed setting a block from the beach. The rooms are beautifully clean with great little sitting areas outside and a hammock hanging from the trees. We ate great rice and curry every lunch from their restaurant. The highlight however was the kitesurfing lessons from Meryl- he is a fantastic teacher and took us from beginners to being able to be pulled along / standing up! His teaching method is great, he is incredibly patient - and I would recommend him without hesitation - we will be back!!
