The Jing

Honestly, two nights at The Jing wasn't enough. We came here for our wedding anniversary and it ended up being one of the most special places we’ve ever stayed in Bali. ​What really sets this place apart is the vibe and the incredible hospitality. The staff are so attentive, but Will and Vera (the owners) are what make it truly unique. They are genuinely lovely people who constantly went out of their way to do thoughtful, generous little things for us that were nowhere near what was written on our booking confirmation. You just don't get that kind of personal care at standard luxury hotels. ​Because there are only 4 units on the entire property, it feels completely private and exclusive. The grounds are gorgeous and full of lush landscaping, they even grow a lot of their own food on-site, and combined with local ingredients, the breakfast and dinner set menus were fantastic. ​Our room was unreal. Waking up to direct ocean views, stepping straight out into a huge garden, and being able to walk right down to the beach for an evening stroll was a massive highlight. You can really tell Will and Vera spent 3 years building this place because every single detail is so well thought out, both in how it looks and how functional everything is. ​Also, do not skip the spa! The therapists are super professional and it genuinely felt like stepping into another world for an hour or two. ​Huge thanks to Will and Vera for an unforgettable anniversary. If you're looking for something truly special in Bali, just book it. We'll definitely be back!

Notre séjour à The Jing s'est révélé en tous points idyllique ! On y a trouvé ce qu'on était venu chercher : du calme, du luxe, de la tranquillité. Le cadre en lui-même est magnifique, que ce soit le jardin, les espaces communs, la décoration, tout est pensé pour le plaisir des yeux, l'esthétique est au rendez-vous. Que dire du bassin et des carpes koï sinon que c'est une pièce exceptionnelle dans la propriété. La chambre était spacieuse, confortable, la literie excellente, les équipements complets. Le personnel est tellement prévenant, professionnel, agréable, attentionné : c'est un vrai plaisir d'avoir affaire à eux ! Pour finir, les repas. Le petit déjeuner est excellent, copieux et raffiné, original et surprenant. Le dîner quant à lui est digne d'un restaurant gastronomique. Je pourrais aussi parler des massages tellement agréables... Bref, ce fut un séjour à tous points de vue vraiment enthousiasmant ! Beautiful place. In every part of the buildings and gardens you notice how much thought and care was put into the layout, decorations and materials. The staff is magnificent - extremely friendly and attentive, but also leaving the guests enough privacy. The meals (breakfast, tea, dinner) included in our booking were extraordinarily delicious.

Чувствуется большое старание хозяев и всего персонала отеля без исключения доставить максимум приятных впечатлений гостям. Хозяева: Уилл и Вера, внимательные, заботливые и тактичные. Любая просьба о помощи выполнялась так, что мы чувствовали себя не постояльцами отеля, а дорогими гостями, почти родственниками. Уилл, спасибо за организацию экскурсии и поездки на снорклинг. А поздравление Алексея с днем рождения (причем без нашего запроса) — это было незабываемо)))! Персонал: официанты Mada, Putu («Ниндзя»), Suar – спасибо за ваше радушие и гостеприимство, аккуратность и доброжелательность! Массажистки Ketut и Widi –профессионалы, работают бережно, не причиняют резкой боли и контролируют силу воздействия по вашей реакции. Они создают очень комфортную обстановку во время массажа. Вилла спроектирована с особым изяществом, инфраструктура выше всяких похвал. Чистота номера и всех помещений, уход за бассейном, качество и разнообразие завтраков — все это впечатляет. Ужины – отдельная тема! Мы останавливались на 6 ночей, ни одно блюдо не повторялось ни разу, а качество их просто непередаваемое. Это место не для тусовки, рядом нет ночных клубов и дискотек. Это место для настоящего релакса и наслаждения океаном. После данного размещения мы останавливались еще в двух локациях на Бали, с более высокой стоимостью. Но ни питание, ни массаж, ни персонал этих отелей не выдержали конкуренции…) The Jing, вы - лучшие!

What we loved most is impossible to summarize, it is simply everything.

Tout sans exception. Tout était plus que parfait. Si je pouvais mettre 12/10, je le ferai. Accueil excellent - hébergement exceptionnel avec vue sur la mer . Tout a été pensé pour que le client se sente chez lui. Accès direct à la plage - piscine top avec petit coin balnéo- Repas excellents. Spa avec massages Le personnel fait le maximum pour répondre à nos demandes. Un endroit magique où il faut passer plusieurs nuits pour en profiter au maximum

EVERYTHING!!! This property is the most magnificent we have stayed at in Bali! We enjoyed 3 nights for our second honeymoon and we could not have picked a better place! The owners, Vera and Will, are talented hosts who have designed and created this property and experience to the utmost perfection...an architectural stunner! The meals are amazing! Vera has trained her staff to deliver high quality, delicious courses for breakfast, lunch ,and dinner! The BEST food we experienced over our 3 weeks tour. And then there is the spa! Honestly the BEST massages and treatments I have EVER had, and I go often to have treatments in Australia and around the world when traveling. Also, Will is a world travelled and highly skilled Acupuncturist...we love his story and the service he brings to, not only his guests, but when training others around the world, and the local people of Tejakula. We could not fault the staff! We felt like very important guests at all times, and nothing was any trouble! They are brilliant! Also, if you like crystals and gem stones, the collection here is incredible! If you like fishing, the experience we enjoyed one morning with a local fisherman was wonderful! Robert caught 30-40 fish in a 3 hour period. We cannot speak more highly of this amazing property and location...we WILL be back again, and possibly within the next 2 months...it was that good!

Nothing!! There is absolutely nothing to not like! If you enjoy high quality accommodation, food, company, service and facilities...and enjoy being away from the buzz of busy cities and need a place to relax, you cannot go wrong at the Jing! Our only issue was we didn't stay longer!!!

Pobyt v tomto hotelu nebyl jen dovolenou, byl to zážitek, na který se nezapomíná. V čem je tento hotel výjimečný? Čistota a ubytování: Vše bylo naprosto stoprocentní. Pokoje zářily čistotou a každý detail byl dotažen k dokonalosti. Služby a personál: Ochota a profesionalita týmu jsou na té nejvyšší úrovni, jakou si lze představit. Člověk se zde necítí jako anonymní host, ale jako vážený přítel. Gastronomické nebe: To, co nás naprosto šokovalo, byla kvalita večeří. I když byly podávány v ceně ubytování, svou úrovní, prezentací a chutí odpovídaly michelinské kvalitě. Bylo to něco naprosto perfektního a v dané cenové kategorii nedostižného. Srdce a duše: Hotel má neuvěřitelnou atmosféru. Je vidět, že majitelé Věra a Will do něj vložili kus sebe. Jejich osobní přístup a energie, kterou hotelu dávají, dělají z tohoto místa oázu klidu a pohody. Es war alles perfekt! Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise hätte es nicht besser sein können. Die Zimmer und die ganze Anlage sind so geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen waren stets ein kulinarisches Highlight. Die unterschiedlichen Plätze, an denen man die Mahlzeiten genießen konnte, waren allesamt einzigartig. Die Massagen war ebenso einfach Entspannung pur. Die Ruhelage direkt am Meer haben wir sehr genossen. Das gesamte Personal ist nicht nur außerordentlich freundlich, sondern auch stets bemüht, einem jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Zu aller Letzt, ein großes Lob an die beiden so sympathischen Gastgeber - wir haben uns so wohl bei euch gefühlt.

Quiet villa, the best service, the best staff. Very good experience.

We have a dream vacation where everything is perfect. Our stay began with a warm welcome from the owners, Will and Vera, and was followed by exceptionally friendly and professional service from their team. Every meal we enjoyed in our stay was a delight—beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. We also treated ourselves to a 90-minute restorative massage at the spa, which was absolutely incredible. This boutique villa is wonderfully intimate, with just four uniquely designed rooms. It is hard to say goodbye to such a beautiful and tranquil haven, but we will definitely be back for more. Recommend to visit absolutely. Number one place in the North of Bali. Magnificent place!

A very beautiful place to relax! We were here during Bali rainy season for 7 nights but the weather was not a problem at all, was sunny and enjoyable and barely rained a couple of days! Nice food! The staff and the owners are very welcoming and nice! I recommend the Balinese massage at the spa!

Our stay at The Jing was absolutely wonderful. While we were staying in Kintamani and visiting a nearby waterfall, we happened to come across The Jing while searching for hotels. The moment I saw it, I just knew this was the place we had to stay, so we booked it right away. A day before our arrival, the owner kindly reached out to ask if we were celebrating any special occasion or if there was anything they could prepare for us. We were actually traveling to Bali to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday and our 10th wedding anniversary, and it truly felt like we were guided to The Jing for this special moment. With only four rooms available each day, the atmosphere was peaceful, intimate, and relaxing. The staff were always warm and attentive, and we could feel the thoughtful design and care in every corner of the property. To our surprise, they prepared a beautiful birthday cake for my husband and arranged a special dinner setup for us—it was an unforgettable experience. One night was simply not enough. We would love to come back and stay longer next time. Thank you so much for creating such a peaceful and heartfelt place.

Everything. Our stay was remarkable. From the time we were met at the airport until we arrived a few hours at the Resort. The staff created us at the gate, then a short drive through the gardens, and more staff as we arrived. A short visit to address our foreign documents then off to our room, the most beautiful sound was heard of the sea hitting the stone beach. Our host showed us around the rooms....Our luggage was already in our room. We hesitated not, for a walk out and view the sea with the blue water of the pool showing it's presence. We were escorted onto the lawn and presented with the menu. The food was prepared as we sat viewing the sea. Every meal was made fresh, a menu with choices was presented. We reminded ourselves that prior to arrival we answered a questionnaire including items such as pillow choices to food allergies to food likes and dislikes. The next two days were adventures on the island of Bali, Including visits to Temple, jeep trip to the second volcanic mountain, hot springs for soaking, trip to a fantastic garden with plenty of activities. A note about the shower that I figured out the next day. It was hugh with a tree, tall walls and open sky, and a amazing experience. The bathroom was hugh, complete with a tub , plenty of counter space, and, electrical outlets. A few steps down to the closet area complete with local hats and two sets of bathrobes. Plenty of drawers space and counter space. The bedroom was entered from both sides. Open the door and and the Sea view is upon us. With an outside table and lounge chairs with beach towels. Whosoever desires to go to this quiet Resorts Hotel will leave with a lasting impression.

Juste un petit détail qui a été partiellement résolu par le propriétaire lors de notre présence. Un éclairage insuffisant pour cette superbe pièce de vie dans la villa Rhumah Empat. Je suis certains qu'après notre départ le nécessaire à été fait car les propriétaires sont très à l'écoute de leurs hôtes. On se sent même un peu coupable d'évoquer ce mini inconvénient tellement tout le reste est fantastique.

Fantastyczne miejsce na odpoczynek z dala od zgiełku i turystów. Świetna obsługa, która dbała o to aby każdy aspekt naszego pobytu był idealny. Przepyszne jedzenie. Cały obiekt zachwyca designem. Jest to hotel w stylu butikowym, więc jest bardzo spokojnie i kameralnie. Bardzo mili właściciele, którzy również dbali o to abyśmy czuli się komfortowo.

The Jing was the best part of our trip to Bali! A truly paradisiacal place! Will and Vera are amazing hosts, very attentive and agreeable and the staff is just the best in the world! Our stay was delightful from the first moment to the very last. The property is beautifully conceived, extremely comfortable and harmonious. We enjoyed the sounds and the peacefulness of nature while surrounded by the best service possible. At our villa, by the pool, at the gazebo or at any other place we always felt peace and serenity. The food is incredible, every meal was a delicious surprise - very good quality local ingredients exceptionally well prepared to make a very unique gastronomic experience. Every time we were placed at different spots of the property to enjoy different views which made it very special. The spa was absolutely marvellous - we had the best relaxing massages every day of our stay! It is a wonderful place, made so by the extreme and unobtrusive care of the staff, always smiling and attentive ❤️ Thank you so much!

We spent four nights at this hotel and enjoyed every moment. It was an excellent experience, combining design, comfort, food quality, and service. We discovered a great deal of thought and attention to detail that made the stay extraordinary: from the excellent air conditioning placement in the room, homemade cookies, coffee quality in the room, and always fresh water, no matter where you were in the hotel, to the delicious food and excellent spa treatments. The attention to food deserves particular praise - everything is absolutely delicious 😋😋😋 2. Will, his wife Vera, and their wonderful team . The team is several times larger than the number of guests in this fantastic boutique hotel THE JING , allowing every guest to feel truly special. This feeling of being valued as a guest is something you rarely experience—something missing in 99.9% of the hotels we’ve visited. For the family running boutique hotel THE JING, every guest is unique and important. 3. The sea . Its salty taste, soothing sound, and powerful presence - these are sensations you won’t experience if you stay inland on Bali. We landed in a serene place after a three hour ride from the airport. The driver at the airport already stands out, which make you feel welcome from the the first moment. The welcome at The Jing is warm and friendly, which made us feel at home straight away. The room is spacious, designed with an eye for detail and very comfortable. The explanation was clear and the 'hidden' features were shown to make us familiar with our stay. The food and drinks are excellent. A lot of local fresh and non processed products are being used. The team has focus on the guests and serves with grace and attention. The hosts are nice and willing to help you have a nice stay at their place. Please book at least one massage. We enjoyed one every day, which was fabulous. We originally booked for three nights and then leave for another place for three nights. We enjoyed this place so much that we stayed the other three nights at The Jing and let the other place go. If you would like to have a holiday which is quiet at a beautiful place with excellent service, food and drinks, The Jing is the place to be.

The hotel was truly exceptional—intimate and charming, with a personal touch that ensured both comfort and privacy. I was completely blown away; I never expected such an extraordinary level of luxury and attention to detail.

This place is an amazing spot with gorgeous sea views. The hosts, Will and Vera, are super friendly and make you feel right at home. The staff are attentive, and the vibe is beautiful and relaxing, with great attention to detail. The food is fantastic, made fresh every day right from their organic garden. Be sure to treat yourself to some incredible massages that will leave you feeling relaxed. I cannot wait to return to this piece of paradise.

It is actually not a hotel but a 3 bedroom villa, which rents out single rooms. Not to speak of a 5* standard, as it is advertised, for which I would at least expect soundproof rooms and an equivalent service. The staff is not trained on a professional level, they have been very slow, so we had to repeat ourselves on several occasions, e.g. for dinner preparation, which we have waited for 2 hours, and over half an hour for drinks. The staff has not informed us that we supposedly could choose the sea side gazebo as a dinner location. After bringing it up, they told us that we could have dinner at the gazebo on the next day, as an exception, because there were no other guests then. Obviously, the other guests got some preferred treatment because they had booked a higher room category. Being welcome feels different for sure. Furthermore, the meal portions in general are small, and I would not call it half board. The owner, despite not being present during our stay, tried to find excuses for the poor communication, even citing Murphy's Law, while he sent me several messages in a very intrusive way, further disturbing a relaxing stay which we initially hoped it would be. He also doesn't seem to handle criticism very well, and I won't accept free upgrade offers in exchange for a positive review, but I am not surprised about all the other positive reviews now. All together, I cannot recommend this place. If you are marketing this place as a boutique hotel, don't claim it to be 5 stars, because the service, amenities and quality don't match your aspirations.

Let me start with the welcoming from the owners, Will and Vera. They greeted us from getting off of the taxi and kindly guide us into an beautiful small living room, where the staff gave us a refreshing drink. From there all the stay was what any vacation should be. Relaxing, worry free on your stay, the staff are amazing on being there for everything you need or might need while not being intrusive. The hotel, room, bar, pool, garden are just perfection and beauty. If you want to experience luxury, feel at home with great hosts and delicious food then this is the place. Finally, Will arranged for us a snorqueling trip to Amed and he was spot on, there were plenty of corals and all kinds of fishes, stars, etc.

Beautiful design, attentiveness of the staff, amazing food

There aren't enough words for how perfect our stay at The Jing was. My partner took me as a surprise for my birthday and walking in was completely breathtaking. The ocean, garden, pool and views were idyllic. But also every single detail of how the place was designed was a perfect balance of classy aesthetics and comfort. What blew me away the most was the staff and the service they provided. So friendly and attentive. I still don't know how they managed to get everything so perfect. It is a large place with so many places to sunbathe, rest, etc and yet wherever we went they always immediately brought fresh water, snacks and were ready to take any drink or food orders. Even more impressively they achieved this while giving us complete privacy, we were catered to without being hovered over or intruded on. Plus the owners Vera and Will were so helpful, warm and interesting. We had some great chats with them and their passion for what they do was wonderful. The food was unbelievable. We were fed a 3 course breakfast, afternoon tea and a 3 course dinner every day. Plus kombucha, jamu shots, fresh juices, coffees, teas and cocktails. Every single meal was inspired and so satisfying. They cook with the freshest seafood caught from right in front of the property. What's wonderful is they prioritise healthy food without any compromise on taste. They made my birthday so special! We went on a beautiful sunrise boat trip, received one of the best massages I've ever had, they made me a delicious cheesecake with candles and sang me happy birthday for afternoon tea, then decorated the gazebo with candles and music for the most romantic dinner. I'm incredibly grateful for all that they did for us and we look forward to returning many times.

This was just a paradise. The pictures here cannot really tell how beautiful and unique this place is. The owners were incredibly nice and positive, bringing another level of hospitality, the food was exceptional, the design, pool, furnitures, come ooon, that was 7⭐️ experience, all staff very professional and helpful, we enjoyed our stay 199 %. Loved it.

The Jings is a place which awakens all your five senses. Unique luxirous place to stay reset your mind and refill the body with peace and tranquility. If you are a gourmet, they offers you up scalling atmosphere of fine dinning. The owners and staff were gracious and friendly to us. The place l would describe is a heaven that brings you those feelings: “ l am worth to myself and to the World!” I am speechless about architecture and design of each part of the Jing, the crystals and fish….The concept of privacy brought us joy. lf we have the opportunity we are going to come back soon!

Choosing The Jing in Tejakula was a pleasant surprise. The villa is stunning, with spacious rooms offering sea views and the calming sound of waves each morning. I was particularly impressed with the unique bathroom, surrounded by a fish pond. With just three rooms, it's peaceful and intimate. The infinity pool, vast garden, and sea backdrop are definite highlights. The staff was warm and attentive, and the food was a delightful surprise. What made our stay even more memorable was the candlelit dinner by the sea, thoughtfully arranged by the villa's lovely owners. For those wanting a quiet, romantic getaway away from Bali's busier areas, The Jing is a top recommendation.

Our stay at The Jing was very nice, it's a quiet location and our room was very spacious. There are only three rooms which creates a really quite atmosphere with attention for details from the staff. The included breakfast & diner were very good, and every night was a treat! Because it was our honeymoon, the hosts prepaired a very nice dinner next to the sea, with candles, flowers & music. Would highly recommend this place & would come back if I travel to Bali again.
