Sehr nette Familie und leckeres Frühstück

Right near the train station. Breakfast was great on the deck! The owner also made me dinner when I got in and was too tired to go out and find food!

There were a few ants and little bugs in the room. It’s about a 30 walk to the main strip of Unawatuna but there was a scooter available for hire for ~10 minute drive there.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Das inkludierte Frühstück war äußerst lecker und reichhaltig. Auf Wunsch wurde auch ein Abendessen für uns zubereitet und auch dieses hat uns vollkommen überzeugt. Die Gastgeberin ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Eine klare Empfehlung, besonders für einen angenehmen Zwischenstopp.

Sehr angenehmes Einzelzimmer mit guter Klimaanlage und eigenem Bad. Schlicht aber für eine Person vollkommen ausreichend. Kühlschrank kann mitbenutzt werden. Frühstück war super lecker und umfangreich. Kontakt zu TukTuk Service mit fairem Preis

Забронировали номер 20кв.м. и должен быть балкон, но в реальности комната была 10кв.м., из них 1,5-2м.кв. отгорожено пластиком как душ-туалет. Никакого балкона нет или он в другом номере и нас разместили не в наш номер, (но таких маленьких на сайте даже нет). К окну ограждение не прилегает, поэтому щель в 10см.и все «запахи» и сырость идут в комнату. Кондиционер работает на последнем издыхании и не справляется. До пляжа пешком далеко. Завтрак скудный как ланкийский так и европейский. Полотенце одно было полностью в дырках. Wi-fi ужасный, все были на мобильном. Утром оплатили за одну ночь, отменили бронирование и уехали в лучшее место. Эта комната не должна стоить 4700 рупий, но с нас взяли именно эту сумму как за комнату 20 квадратных метров с балконом.

I just loved my stay in Villa ok! I loved everything about it 💖 I loved my room! I had the one in the corner of the balcony. I loved the balcony where I enjoyed beautiful breakfast every morning.. ( and any other meal I tried was very tasty and freshly prepared ) I as well adored the small details lcharging adapters available in the rooms, the hairdryer, and there were many hangers in my room and bathroom, which was very convenient. My highlight was the location !!!It was just perfect for me, because it was in a peacefull neighborhood with animals aroubd and nartural calming sounds. No traffic noise or clubs. I was so happy to return to this peacefull place after a long day of exploring the surroundings. And of course nothing of this wouldn't have been so great if not for the amazing landlady Souana and her family. She was very professional and at the same time so caring in everything she offered. The communication was always, clear, respectful and loving. Thank you so much for everything. I really felt like at home during my stay at your property. I would always come back 😍

Estuvimos muy bien, además pudimos aparcar el coche. La familia muy simpática y nos ayudaron en todo momento.

Проживание крайне негативное и небезопасное. Заселение задержали, номер убирали в последнюю минуту, кровать и бельё не соответствовали заказу, полотенца грязные, разные по цвету и пахли несвежим. Кондиционер дует прямо на кровать, нет стула и стола, балкон непригоден. Душ и ванна плохо устроены: полы мокрые и скользкие, горячую воду приходится ждать. Лестница к номеру крутая и скользкая — опасно. Персонал практически отсутствует, даже чтобы взять переходник. Завтрак — шок: холодная засохшая лепёшка или кекс вместо йогурта, бананов и тостов, как на фото. Когда я выразила недовольство, хозяин кричал на меня по телефону. Локация прямо у дороги: шум, пыль, отсутствие ограждений, я чуть не попала под автобус. В номере и общих зонах тараканы и муравьи, чистота ужасная. Рейтинг и отзывы вызывают сомнение: возможно, они устаревшие или не отражают текущую ситуацию. Сейчас это ужасно, я бы не дала даже шесть баллов. Не рекомендую.

Tout. J’étais déjà venue 5 jours fin août . Je suis revenue y passer 10 jours pour voir à quoi ressemblaient les lieux en février. La gérante est décidément quelqu’un d’exceptionnel. Elle est attentionnée par nature et non pas parce que c’est son travail ( qu’elle fait par ailleurs à la perfection). Elle n’est pas affable comme de nombreux gérants de guest house, c’est tout simplement une bonne personne, qui rend toujours service sans rien attendre en retour. Sa cuisine est toujours aussi délicieuse, la maison est toujours aussi propre et aussi conviviale. Et surprise, il n’y avait pas tant de touristes que cela finalement. Jungle Beach est malheureusement prise d’assaut comparé au mois d’août, mais il n’y a plus de vagues sur la plage principale qui est immense et où on peut nager aussi loin qu’on veut car il y a du fond ( contrairement à Bentota par exemple). Je suis allée à pieds à Galle en 50 minutes et au lac de Kogala en passant uniquement par la plage jusqu’à Thalpe ,ce qui est possible à cette période de l’année. Je ne me suis pas ennuyée un seul jour en explorant les environs uniquement à pieds ( mais tout un tas de bus passent par la route principale ( Galle/Matara). Même si on veut visiter Mirissa il vaut mieux dormir ici et y aller en bus AR à la journée car pour avoir dormi à Mirissa, c’est très bruyant alors que la Villa Ok est très reposante. Je reviendrai, cela est certain.

Dit is de beste plaats, niks commercieel goedkoop verblijf. Een echte aanrader. Lekker ontbijt en op het tijdstip dat afgesproken was. Op andere plaatsen beginnen ze er aan op het uur dat afgesproken is. Vlekkeloos fris wit katoenen beddengoed. Ik kreeg de handdoek die ik wou als souvenir gratis mee!

Er is helemaal niks dat tegenviel

Le camere sono piccole, ma ben organizzate e sopratutto molto molto pulite, abbiamo alloggiato per due giorni e siamo stati benissimo, rimane un po’ fuori la zona centrale di Unawatuna, ma in 10/15 min a piedi si arriva tranquillamente. I proprietari davvero molto gentili e disponibili, il caffè nella MOKA è un super plus, che si può gustare nelle zone comuni molto spaziose e pulitissime!!!

Tout! Absolument tout! Depuis trois mois et plus de 26 Guest house, c’est une de mes préférées. Tout d’abord, la gérante, une femme incroyable, aux petits soins pour ses hôtes, ensuite la maison, qui est magnifique ( Residence de trois chambres (1,2,3 personnes) à l’étage dotée d’une immense terrasse végétalisée avec goût, d’une pièce à vivre ( salon, canapé, fauteuils) de plus de 25 m2, et d’une petite kitchenette équipée d’une plaque chauffante, d’un four et d’une bouilloire. Enfin, la situation géographique, au calme et prêt de tous les centres d’intérêt , la rue principale est à 10 minutes à peine à pieds ( bus Matara/Galle, Tangalle/ Colombo etc . Arrêt Unawatuna hospital), la fameuse jungle beach à une vingtaine de minutes ( 5 minutes sur la route principale puis super petite rando sur une petite route), la plage d’Unawatuna, à 15 minutes à pieds ( par la grande route),et celle de Dalawala ( où on peut voir les tortue) est à 3 km et accessible par une jolie petite route qui longe la voie ferrée ( sens inverse de la route principale). Pour finir, le petit déjeuner est délicieux et copieux et à priori fait sur mesure car j’ai eu droit à mes plats favoris ( rotti/ dhal, paratha etc). Le café est délicieux.

Rien. Je ne peux que recommander vivement cet établissement : le rapport qualité prix est imbattable !

* Quarto Ok * Internet boa * café da manha muito bom * atendimento muito bom Na hospedagem tem um plus que nao achei nas informações.. tem uma cozinha .. com fogão indução, utensílios e geladeira além do quarto.. um dos motivos que ganha mais uns pontos. Café da manha muito bom .. sempre com animais proximos.. muitos pássaros e esquilos.

A distância pode ser um problema se estiverem a pé.. 20 minutos caminhando ate o centrinho e 30 ate a praia

Swarna was such a kind and hospitable host. She was so welcoming. She even invited my daughter and I to celebrate New Year with her and her son this morning. It was so lovely. I definitely recommend OK Villa to you. The breakfast was also really tasty.

Amazing value for money. The room was small but very comfortable with both AC and a fan. Everything was very clean and the included breakfast was great. In the morning you can watch monkeys jumping between nearby trees. The owner is very sweet and happy to help

It’s a bit far from the beach/town (around 25 minutes walk) and part of the road going to the hotel is pretty dark at night.

Unfortunately this was my least favorite stay during my time in Sri Lanka. The floor in the room was dirty and there was a horrible smell of fish as someone clogged the drainage with fish. Hosts were friendly, but not als welcoming as in other places in Sri Lanka. As seen on the map the location is quite far away from the beach, but still manageable by walking or bus. No need for a greedy tuktuk driver.

The owners where fantastic. The location was good for transport,eating& gym. The breakfast & afternoon tea was cheap (excellent) Thank you ❤️❤️👍.

Use the shower space just a little to small. No other problems. Great place didn't want to leave but have to go home

The hosts were very sweet and friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable with a warm family like feeling ❤️. Good English, clean room, good price and a perfect, quiet and safe neighbourhood not far from the famous Unawatuna beach 👏. I would certainly go back 🙏.

We had an amazing time here. Ended up staying four days longer than planned because of the location, host and facilities. We were able to park our tuktuk in the driveway and our host sought to fulfill any requests we had. Cleaning every day. Lovely balcony. Nice A/C. Amazing and varied Sri Lankan breakfast every day. +++

I spent here nearly 2 weeks and felt really home. Every morning I enjoyed fresh home made breakfast, a lovely view and a peaceful and calming atmosphere. A family running this villa creates such a good vibes, is so caring and attentive. All my requests were fulfilled and all my questions were answered, I had fantastic holidays! The place should be named "Villa Excellent", not just "OK" :) I am not sure that I should tell more about the place, I am afraid that when I want to come next time (and I definitely will come!) it will be fully booked a year ahead! I think I was lucky to find the best place in Unawatuna!

It is not the fault of the villa owners, but in a neighbour's house there is such an annoying selfish woman (drunk almost every evening) that keeps blabbering on a phone with a loudspeakers every evening till midnight, so loud that I could hear her even in my room, and when I tried to talk to her and ask to talk lower and reduce phone volume, she immediately become aggressive. That spoils a bit my impression... I really hope that she is not going to stay there forever and has already left! I believe the hole village breathed a sigh of relief when it happened.

Everything is perfect

The owners were very kind and the Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious. Beautiful terrace to sit and a fridge for everybody if you want to cool something. It's just a 5 min walk to the next supermarket, but a little bit further to the restaurants in town or the beach. But you can go there by Tuktuk. The positive side of the location is a rather quiet surrounding, where you can listen to birds or watch monkeys in the trees. We could also leave our stuff there for another 3 hours after our checkout because we had to wait for our train. We'd definetely come again :)

The only downside for us was that there was no mosquito net (which we knew beforehand).

Amazing people, very kind and not pushy at all. Best coffee I had in Sri Lankan accommodations (French press), great smoothies and omelette and toast for breakfast. AC works, kitchen and fridge was clean. Monkeys in the backyard almost every morning. Parking for vehicles. Place is just a short tuktuk ride to the beaches. It’s the best place I’ve booked so far. In Germany you would pay the same price just for the smoothie and coffee in the morning. Birds and squirrels around and I haven’t seen a single cockroach! Thanks for the great stay, I’ll be back!

Great and quiet rooms in unawatuna. Came here to calm down a little bit after two months of travelling. Really friendly hosts, awesome breakfast and a very clean room with AC and Wifi working very well.

Lovely property. Rooms are well equipped. Good ac and hot showers. Also has kettle etc to use in common area. Balcony area is lovely and we spotted lots of monkeys in the morning. The host was lovely and helpful. Around 15 minute walk to main road which leads to unawatuna beach. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
