Уютный домик, где есть все необходимое: гели и шампуни, одноразовые зубные щетки, даже ватные палочки. Прекрасный столик на балконе и перед домом. На территории растет дерево авокадо и бананы, домик окутан лианами, что придает атмосферу джунглей. Есть лежаки, общая кухня, а также бесплатная стиральная машина. Бывает прыгают обезьяны. Хозяин оказался очень доброжелательным, всегда отвечал на наши вопросы, в день нашего отъезда подарил нам брелоки и авокадо с дерева. Хочется отметить высококачественный завтрак, очень сытный, мы что-то даже оставляли на перекус, острого не было.

Иногда ползают муравьи по дому и маленькие ящерицы, но особого неудобства они не доставляют. Ночью по крыше бегают белки, что может немного испугать. Душ стоит перед туалетом, поэтому в ванной комнате всегда мокрый пол, не успевает быстро влага уйти.

Everything!! We had a lovely stay at the cabin, it’s in a great location near the beach and only 4-5km away from Galle fort. Our host was so friendly and welcoming from start to finish and made our stay a pleasure! The cabin had a comfortable bed, bathroom and air conditioning. It also had a little balcony. The fresh cooked breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I highly recommended.

Ci è piaciuto tutto! La casetta è veramente bellissima. Sembra uscita da una favola. Letto comodissimo. Presenti tutti i confort dal frigorifero al phon al ferro da stiro. La veranda dove fare la colazione è un paradiso... immersa nella natura con scoiattoli, scimmiette e uccellini vari che ti fanno compagnia. La colazione eccellente. Le migliori di tutto il nostro viaggio! Siamo stati qui 6 notti in tutto e ogni mattina puntualissima ad attenderci c'era una colazione sempre diversa e sempre deliziosa!!! Posizione buona, silenziosa e abbastanza strategica. Infine un merito speciale al proprietario.... persona gentile, sempre disponibile ad aiutarci, super rispettosa. È stato di grande aiuto più di una volta sempre con il sorriso sulle labbra. L'ultimo giorno siamo andati via molto presto e lui ci ha fornito la colazione al sacco.... un sandwich eccezionale e altre cose buonissime e ci ha fatto anche un piccolo regalo...graditissimo! Siamo stati davvero molto molto bene allo Sky view Cabin e consigliamo a tutti questo fantastico alloggio.

Das war die beste Unterkunft in der wir während unserer Reise waren. Es gab sehr leckeres Frühstück, jeden Tag etwas anderes, mit frischen Säften. Das Häuschen war sehr sauber und gemütlich. Der Gastgeber war unglaublich nett, hat uns immer weitergeholfen und war sehr aufmerksam. Sehr zu empfehlen!

A very pleasant stay. The hosts are extremely welcoming, and they made a delicious home cooked breakfast each day with plenty of variety, and every day it was completely different, but amazing whatever day it was! The cabin had a very cosy vibe, and the AC was very good. Able to do laundry and the hosts would go above and beyond to keep us happy. Decent location, just a short tuk tuk into the main area. The area of the house was also very pretty. The host also gave us a gift upon our departure and offered to take post cards to the post office on our behalf.

I would say however that the beds might not be ideal for tall people, I am 6 foot 3 myself and while I was able to sleep okay, perhaps a slightly longer bed would have been ideal. However for the average height person, this wouldn't be an issue. The stairs are also quite steep. Another thing, though not the fault of the hosts at all, is that every morning at 6am there is a local prayer/ceremony that is very loud. I couldn't quite work out exactly what it is, but it was apparently something from a local Chinese Temple. May be better to bring earplugs so that this doesn't disturb you in your sleep, just in case.

Underbart och mysigt boende. Lite nytt och roligt att man sover däruppe. Mannen som äger stället var super trevlig, så vänlig och hjälpsam. Frukosten var den bästa vi åt i Sri Lanka! Extremt mycket mat så man inte behöver äta lunch, samt att varje dag var det ny typ av frukost. Vi fick också välja själva vilken tid vi ville ha frukosten. Stället låg bra till, med ca 20 minuters promenad till Unawatuna Beach. Några minuters promenad till mataffärer, restauranger och bankomat. Ett ställe jag varmt rekommenderar!

magnifique cabane au milieu de la ville, super bien équipée (brosse à dents, dentifrice, peigne…) plutôt bien placée à 20min à pied de la plage et 5 minutes de tuktuk délicieux petit déjeuner !! nous avons pu laisser nos affaires à l’hôte en toute confiance le temps du check out, merci 🙏🏻 hôte superbe 👍🏻

Останавливались семьёй на ТРИ недели. За время проживания очень подружились с владельцем, Рукшаном - это великолепный человек, грамотный и тактичный. Домик очень уютный и чистый. Кстати о чистоте- в большинстве отелей Шри Ланки этому не уделяют внимание - здесь всё было иначе)). В домике каждый день проводили уборку, посуда вымыта до блеска, постельное белье и полотенца меняют очень часто. Завтраки - это что-то грандиозное, свежие соки, фрукты, несколько блюд...и каждый день что-то новое..мы редко могли доесть все до конца..порции огромные. Было впечатление, что мы приехали к родным людям. Расставаться было тяжело. Рядом с отелем есть фруктовые лавки, супермаркеты и итальянский ресторанчик, очень неплохой. Два пляжа - один для серфа, другой для купания ..на тук-туке 250-300 рупий. На рыбном рынке огромный выбор морепродуктов, приготовить можно на кухне, вся техника в наличии.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit tollem Gastgeber, der sich sehr engagiert und bei allen Problemen und Fragen hilft! Obwohl es nah an der Hauptstraße liegt, ist es wirklich im Innenhof ruhig. Die Cabin hat alles, was man braucht und wird alle 2 Tage gereinigt. Hervorzuheben ist das fantastische Frühstück. Es war das Beste unserer 3 wöchigen Rundreise durch Sri Lanka und hat jeden Tag gewechselt. Es wird mit sehr viel Liebe zubereitet, schmeckt fantastisch, ist wirklich viel und es wurde auch auf Essensunverträglichkeiten geachtet. Top top top! Das hätten wir sehr gerne mit heim genommen. Die Küche im Außenbereich ist auch toll ausgestattet, wir haben hier einmal auch gekocht.

Amazing accommodation experience! I was staying for 9 nights. The location is very good: not so far from city, but groceries, banks are near. Not so far from train station but you will never hear the trains. Wild nature. Cabins are very clean, good equipped. Washmachine is available. Place for parking is available and owner helped with motorbike renting. The breakfasts were overwhelming! Everyday fresh, every day new option, generous portions. Once owners arranged a local-style dinner 😍 The owner was very helpful and friendly, did a much for my comfortable staying, thank you very much! ❤️

Very clean, great value for money, the cabins are beautiful! The included breakfast was one of the best we have had :) hosts even took into account I am gluten free for breakfast which was amazing.

Comfortable & clean. Very supportive & well behaved people.

The cabin was very sweet and had plenty of room. Rukshan our host was so accommodating and very friendly, he gave us great advice and suggestions on what to do in the local area. The breakfasts were generous portions with variety and there was also a washing machine onsite which was free of charge.

The only issues we encountered were slow WiFi and also the noise of the Buddhist shrine which woke us up every morning at around 05:45AM (we appreciate this out of the control of our host but it did impact our stay).

The owner is very nice and offers a lot of help if you need it. Breakfast and dinner were very good and I really recommend the juices. The cabin is very clean and cozy.

Maybe a mosquito net in the bed would be nice because in the evening there a lot of mosquitoes.

If there’s one place to stay in Sri Lanka, it’s here! A beautiful cabin, well-maintained, with brand new and super comfortable bedding—I’ve forgotten all about my own bed at home! Hot water, air conditioning working perfectly. Free laundry. The breakfast is exceptional, I’m still drooling just thinking about it! The kindness and hospitality of the family are truly rare—I’ve traveled a lot, but this is unmatched! And the farewell gift? Never seen anything like it! One word: THANK YOU. The only problem I see is that we don’t want to leave this place! If you’re reading this review, don’t think twice before I decide to book for the whole year! You won’t be disappointed!

Our host, Luksha, welcomed us with a beautiful smile, warm hospitality, and a lovely welcome tea! She took care of us attentively, introducing various animals and sharing her experiences in Korea. ❣️ The breakfast was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented, and she explained everything we needed to know with great detail. As for the accommodation, the quality was beyond words, offering an unbelievable view. If I ever build my own home in the future, I’d love to have a cabin like this.

The air conditioner is working a bit strange, on 24 it’s hot, 23 - very cold, not stable. All other things were perfect!

The hosts were very sweet and nice people. The communication upon arrival was great. The cabin is cute, upstairs of course it’s quite hot but there is an aircon! And breakfast was ridiculously delicious and way too much

We had a fantastic stay in the Sky View Cabin. The cabin is beautiful, spacious, very clean and comfortable. The host gave us a warm welcome and the breakfast was incredible. Would really recommend this place to anyone staying in Unawatuna.

Excellent accommodation... During our stay in Sri Lanka, we changed a total of five accommodation... But Sky View Cabin was the best... Wonderful host makes sure we have everything we need, breakfast was different every day, varied, excellent . The cottages were equipped with everything, air conditioning, kettle, shampoo and shower gel, they looked rustic, just what we were looking for. They are close to the main road, bus station and Unawatuna train station. The price is more than favorable, considering the high season and the offer... The host allowed us to leave our things after check in and came to say goodbye to us. During our entire stay, we felt wonderful and that someone cared about how we felt. Thank you for an unforgettable stay, next time in Unawatuna I will definitely book this accommodation. Thank you, you were amazing! 🤗

Had a wonderful stay at the Sky View Cabin Unawatuna! The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious and worth every penny—great value for the price. The overall experience was fantastic, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Galle. I had an incredibly pleasant stay at this place. The host and his wife are very lovely; I was warmly welcomed. The cabin is very charming, nicely decorated, comfy and clean, with a beautiful view outside, and there's a lovely spot to sit outside in the garden. The kitchen is brand new and clean, there's a washing machine.. I lacked nothing. I was also surprised by the extensive breakfast which was new every time. The host is very helpful, he even took me to the doctor when I needed it. Definitely recommended!

We had a very nice stay. The propery is unique and picturesque. The host was very helpful and arranged a perfect vegetarian breakfast for us. Must book when in unawatuna.

Such a cute accommodation. The cabin is spacious and fully equipped. We loved waking up with the sun on our faces, to relax on the balcony hidden between the leaves and the quietness. The host was very friendly, made a delicious breakfast and even provided a breakfast to go on the day of the check out.

I really recommend the sky view cabin in Unawatuna 😃 The place was clean, comfortable and it was really good idea to build cabin in this style. I really enjoyed the time I’ve spent there. Owner was extremely friendly and his wife made excellent and tasty food. The owner also invited us to the museum where he told us the history of Sri Lanka. It was very interesting💕

One of the best finds in Unawatuna. Our very kind and helpful host gave us a very local experience of our first stop in Sri Lanka. The breakfast was great and the whole deal felt like a steal with the amount of effort that was taken to make sure it matched our tastes. He even went out of his way to find us details about our transport after the stay to make our travels easier. It gives the mixed feeling of a small humble homestay with the aesthetic of a cute wooden cottage. The place is cosy so if you love that kind of vibe go for it. One tip would be, if you’re a small eater, tell the host in advance as he makes a lot of food for breakfast and an elaborate meal that might be tough to finish :)

Since the place is quite cosy we kept bumping our heads while climbing up the stairs. But if you’re careful it’s not a problem.

What a great concept! We loved the small cabin, such a unique way of staying in beautiful Sri Lanka. The location is between Unawatuna and Galle Fort. If you plan to have a scooter this is a perfect in between location (+ quiet). Everything was very nearby. Also not to forget to mention the extensive breakfast! Will defiantly come back!

Unfortunately very close to a temple where loud singing starts at 4am. Nothing the owner can do about of course but you need earplugs!

It’s really clam and peaceful place. Love the property and the owner is a great and friendly person.

The bungalows were very nicely made, with a lot of attention to detail and considering the needs of the guests. We really enjoyed our stay. It was spotless clean and all amenities were super new. There was also a shared kitchen in the garden that we can use. In the morning we were surprised by the size and quality of the breakfast. Owners really do their job with care and love. I would definitely book it again. The location was not right by the Unawatuna Beach but it is easy to access by public or walking. Also, a nice hike to the Jungle Beach.

Nice and cozy place. Hidden in the garden not far from central street. Railway station, frut spot ant tuk-tuk parking are close. The owner and his wife are kind, generous and honest people. And what wonderful breakfasts they serve!!!!! With fruits and local dishes. The owner built this cabins by himself during the coronavirus period, so everything is new and clean. We spent their 3 nights, and can recommend it for longer staying.

Nice little huts, a bit away from the main street. A very nice host. He showed us his work place (maritime Museum) and the Galle fort. Great and rich breakfast.

I guess it is normal that you have some little animals in the house :)

The breakfast option was wide and good. Both vegetarian and non vegetarian option was provided. Complimentary welcome drink(tender coconuts) was given. The host was helpful and welcoming. Would recommend this unique stay!

Awesome place. Unique cottage stay, with a nice bed, sky view and balcony on top floor and clean bathroom and a small bed in ground floor. Very good utilisation of space and all necessary items were thoughtfully provided. Excellent vegetarian breakfast provided (best spread I have seen - sandwich, shawarma, beans, fruits, toast, fruit juice, coffee, marmalade, etc). Very warm hosts, were always a call away and provided very sweet king coconut on arrival. I must comment the effort taken by the hosts and if the place is available, do book at the earliest. You will wake up to birds singing and really love the hospitality of the hosts.

Rokshan was a fantastic host. Super friendly and knowledgeable with a beaming smile. Happy to share this knowledge of the area and chat over breakfast. Breakfast was amazing too. Eggs, Spanish omelette, bacon and fresh paw paw and banana, Mango Juice and Passion fruit juice over the 2 days we stayed. If anything they gave us too much:). All prepared by his wife. The accommodation itself is cool. Like a little tree house as you sleep in the attic under the stars at night. Location is super handy for the train station - just a 2 min walk and a short Tuk Tuk ride from both Jungle and unawatuna beaches

Just wow - this little cabin was my favourite stay during the two-week trip across Sri Lanka. The wooden and stone design is charming and unique; the bed is super comfy, and everything was clean and new. The cabin is located close to the beach (a short walk or a tuktuk drive), but in a very quiet neighbourhood, so you can relax and get a proper sleep during the night. The yard is very beautiful with plants and flowers, and the owner is the kindest person ever. I was welcomed with a king coconut, could use the kitchen and washing machine free of charge, the home-made breakfast was scrumptious, and I got some valuable tips on what to see in Unawatuna. So yes - go and book your own little, magic cabin; you will love it, and it will make your stay in Unawatuna special! ☺️

It is all together a different experience than usual Beach resort hotel. The calmness, the detailing and hospitality.

Perfect little cottage like themed rooms for couples. All with wood finish quite an experience.The stares to the bed is a little steep and if you aren't very abled to move hup and down then it is not for you.The location is perfect
