Het is nog niet af en ze zijn druk bezig en het is geen hotel. Het kan een fijne plek worden. Nu ontbraken nog wel zaken op de kamer. Het uitzicht is prachtig.

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026The staff were exceptionally friendly and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The meals, particularly dinner, were delicious and worth visiting for even if you’re not staying at the hotel. The staff also arranged an early breakfast before our pre-booked shuttle to Santa Marta Airport. The location is ideal for visiting Pozo Azul. The bed is comfortable, the room has a good fan despite there being no air conditioning, the infinity pool is a great feature, and the Wi-Fi works well.
If you’re not planning to visit Pozo Azul, the hotel is around a 30-minute uphill walk from the centre of Minca. There is no air conditioning, and the shower has weak water pressure with only cold water. Although the infinity pool is a nice feature, it could be maintained better as the floor was dirty and there were numerous dead and live bugs in the water.

Que se fue la luz y pasamos una noche con muchos insectos y zancudos. Encendieron la planta pero está encendida 15 min y se apagaba. Pasamos una muy mala noche.

Reviewed Apr 16, 2026Excelente lugar, nos encanto pasar unos días ahi. Muy cerca de Pozo Azul. El hostal es muy callado, tranquilo y perfecto para perderse un poco del día de día. Volvería sin pensarlo.
Se fue la luz la primera noche. Fue un poco incómodo pero el clima fue lo suficientemente fresco como para poder dormir.

Reviewed Apr 9, 2026Nous sommes venus ici car il y avait une réduction sur Booking (32 €/nuit au lieu de 55-60) et car nous voulions profiter de la belle vue des chambres dans un endroit calme, ce qui est tout l'intérêt de monter dans les hauteurs de Minca. La vue est en effet superbe, même du lit. La salle de bain est propre et le lit confortable!
Il faut absolument ajouter au moins quelques étagères sinon tout est rangé par terre. Petit déjeuner très bien pour notre prix, mais un peu juste si vous payez plein pot. Et surtout, point qui justifie la note de 7, il y a une des travaux bruyants (disqueuse/ponceuse) juste à côté de notre chambre pendant nos 3 jours de présence. Donc pour le calme c'est raté. Ce n'était pas marqué sur Booking et on ne nous a même pas prévenu par courtoisie au check-in. Début des travaux: dès 8h du matin.

Reviewed Mar 30, 2026Das Badezimmer war sehr modern und die Terrasse einer schönen Aussicht gerichtet. Das Zimmer war auch schön. Das Frühstück war außerdem sehr lecker. Wir konnten auch kostenlos unsere Wärmflasche auffüllen lassen. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr nett und einige konnten auch gut englisch sprechen.
Das Bett war ein wenig schmutzig, mit Flecken und Haaren. Es gab wenig Ablagefläche. Zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthalts war das Hostel eine kleine Baustelle, weswegen wir auch kein Abendessen im Hostel hätten bestellen können, was wir schade fanden, weil es einer der Gründe, warum wir es ausgewählt hatten. Die Portionen des Frühstücks waren sehr klein, das haben wir jedoch schon in verschiedenen Hostels bemerkt.

The room lacked basic practicality - there were no shelves, storage, or space to hang or organize clothing. The location can be challenging to access on foot with luggage due to the steep uphill 30 minute walk. Additionally, I was surprised by extra charges for my dog, which were not clearly communicated in advance - transparency on this would be important.

The rooms and bathroom were quite small, with small double beds and one of the rooms we had booked wasn't as clean as the others.

Reviewed Feb 25, 2026The staff is super friendly. The hotel is a bit outside the town. Too far to walk, but they will help you with transportation if you want. We always had dinner at the restaurant upstairs and the menu has only a couple of oprins but everything is fresh.
It looked they were still building an amazing pool and deck, unfortunate that those were not yes finished.

Reviewed Feb 24, 2026Personnel disponible, souriant et serviable avec lequel nous avons plaisir de discuter. La vue depuis la terrasse est magnifique. Le centre se situe à 20mn à pied et se fait facilement de jour comme de nuit.
La chambre triple est assez petite pour 3. Il faudrait des rangements pour que l on puisse mieux circuler dans la chambre. Remplacer la petite table par des étagères par exemple.

El baño le falta un estante o un espacio para colocar shampoo, jabón o las cosas de aseo personal que uno tiene

Ik had een kamer tegenover de receptie. En op de eerste nacht/avond was er veel geluid op de gang. Dit verstoorde wel mijn slaap. Dit aangegeven aan de receptie en werd meteen rekening mee gehouden en daarna heb ik het niet meer gehoord. De ramen en muren zijn erg dun. Het ligt wel wat verder van de stad. Naar beneden lopen is het probleem niet maar hou er rekening mee dat je ook weer terug omhoog moet lopen .20 min ongeveer.

- The receptionist recommended a morning birdwatching walk that started at 6:00 a.m. When we got back at 9:15, they no longer served breakfast, which I think is outrageous! We came back hungry from the bird watching they suggested and they didn't give us breakfast, which we paid for anyway. The hotel next door, where our friends were staying, still gave breakfast to our friends. So it was a big mistake to choose this hotel. The paid bird watching program was a waste of money, as we saw more birds on the terrace of the neighboring hotel than on the optional bird watching program. The receptionist assured us that we would see monkeys, but we didn't, and we feel cheated. This hotel had loud music playing on its terrace, instead of being able to listen to the birds chirping. As a result, we went to the terrace of the neighboring hotel, because there we could hear the sounds of nature and see many birds, which is why we went to Minca. - There was no hot water in the room at all. We asked how to set it to have hot water, they said there was no hot water at all, so we had to bathe in ice cold water.

Reviewed Jan 6, 2026Me siento súper contento de haber elegido Montes de beraka , el personal administrativo super atento, respetusos siempre pendiente que estaba bien y que no , de verdad muy contento , ni que decir del restaurante sus chef siempre pendientes en su atención , la comida 10 de 10 , cada plato que servían siempre aumentaban un punto de satisfacción, recomiendo 100% la estancia en este lugar muy reservado, tranquilo , limpio ,mucha amabilidad , no parece un negocio hacen sentir como en familia , muchas gracias por todo; HaSantis
Quizás no fue algo negativo estaban trabajando para mejorar en lo de la piscina y el bar pero no fue impedimento para sentirme agusto , tanto así que voy a volver para conocerlos y tener una mejor experiencia...

Breakfast was good and restaurant is open air and comfortable. Balcony was pleasant in the late afternoon with lots of wildlife watching opportunities.
Room was pretty small though with no place to hang clothes. Bathroom was dominate by huge bathtub which was pretty useless as there was no hot water. Shower was tepid. No kitchen or microwave available and had to purchase bottled water. Balcony was small and very hot once the sun came up behind mountain.
