MERVEILLEUX séjour en famille et avec des amis ! La cabane familiale dans les arbres au dessus de la canopé , vue incroyable! C’était magique d’être ainsi en immersion dans la nature ! Se baigner en dessous dans la rivière et se balancer avec les lianes comme dans Mowgli , les enfants ne sont pas prêts de l’oublier, et la randonnée de nuit avec les frontales a la découvertes de la faune locale.

We moesten iedere keer heel erg lang wachten op ons eten. Dat was niet ideaal. Voor de rest was het eten wel lekker en vriendelijk personeel.

Simply amazing. From the excellent often and plant based food to the rooms, built in the middle of the jungle. Staff was really welcoming. The feeling of waking up at Silva Minca is unforgettable. Big plus the yoga classes at 7:30 and 5:30 am, included with our reservation’

the the place is really in need of some maintenance - there is a range of prices but if you are paying the top end you want everything to work and the shower handle not to fall off and the paths to be clear and it to be really clean. The food is delicious but limited in choice and there is only the one narrow area to eat and sit - also the river noise is very loud and you cannot see down in to the valley

A unique experience of tree houses and bamboo towers above a river and forest in Minca. Morning yoga was a bonus and exploring within Selva Minca made for a peaceful time

Todo estuvo bien, incluyendo las actividades de masajes y avistamiento de pájaros, pero el precio en general puede ser algo elevado. La cena no estaba bien cocina, algunos alimentos estaban crudos.

Location and property are beautiful, dinner and breakfast were reasonably priced and good. Bungalows are cute and sufficient, it was nice to have coffee available at your own place. It was sufficent for one night, I wouldn't have stayed longer.

Bungalow & bottom washroom and shower were reasonably clean. Linen and towels were clean, the rest of the area just seem over looked and needs some repair on the boards that are lifting on the deck abs floors. Unfortunately the washroom and area at the bottom of the stairs smelled like an outhouse, not stong but the odor is definatly there. Communication while there could be better with communicating prices and menu and times upon arrival. Overall it was an ok stay, but needs some attention.

Staying in this treehouse was a unique and amazing experience with the best shower view that I’ve ever had. Food was so fresh and tasty and staff were helpful. Definitely recommend

Noi abbiamo soggiornato nella torre Colibrí, ed è stato un sogno ad occhi aperti. Si dorme completamente all’aperto in mezzo alla giungla, quindi ci si fa coccolare dai rumori che la natura ti regala. Veramente bellissima la struttura e posizione top. Ottime anche le attività che propongono tipo bird watching yoga e tante altre, Wi-Fi funzionante ovunque

Nessuno ci ha aiutato con i bagagli nonostante ci abbiano visto in difficoltà, anche perché raggiungere le torri è una passeggiata di 10 minuti non proprio semplicissima. Durante la colazione (che è inclusa) ci hanno chiesto se volevamo un caffè o un succo abbiamo riposto di sì, quando abbiamo fatto il check out, ci hanno fatto pagare 24.000 cop per i succhi richiesti perché non erano compresi con la colazione (che nessuno ci aveva mai detto, quindi bevande escluse). I taxi arrivano fino alla piazza principale di Minca, dopo c’è da prendere un 4x4 a pagamento (30.000 cop) per raggiungere l’hotel, secondo me da un hotel dove spendi più di 300€ per una notte mi aspetto almeno che il transfer di 5 minuti in 4x4 sia gestito dall hotel gratuitamente e invece no.

El hotel está al lado de un río y está totalmente rodeado por naturaleza. Ofrecen clases de yoga gratuitas dos veces al día. Sobre todo Doris es muy amable y atenta.

El colchón es muy incómodo, quizás debería de cambiar por uno de mayor densidad.

La instalacion con mucha vegetacion alrededor es muy bonito el lugar dinde hacen la clase de yoga espectacular , la comida muy sana y me hize 2 terapiaa masajes cin pindas fue increible y alinacion de chacras muy enegetico sobre todo por el lugar una gran experiencia

Selva Minca es un lugar perfecto para desconectarse de la ciudad y estar en completa tranquilidad. Está rodeado de naturaleza y tiene el río muy cerca, es un lugar silencioso y las instalaciones son muy bonitas. También está muy cerca de Minca caminando o en moto. Aunque el menú es solo vegetariano, la comida es muy rica y saludable. La atención de los empleados fue excelente.

La recepción era hermosa y el sendero al río.

The restaurant and the staff are good!

Well, the room was really a disappointment. Don’t take the small rooms! Maybe the tree house is nice but if you didn’t book that then it’s not worth it. The hotel lack common areas and hangout places except for the restaurant! Compared to many other places around with terraces and hammocks, there’s so much more you can get with the same price!

First time I’ve ever given anywhere a 10! We stayed in Colibri Tower (the best one) and it was mind blowing. Having the opportunity to wake up in the middle of the rainforest listening to the birds, it’s a total paradise with stunning views and sunsets to die for. Also having yoga classes included in a lovely yoga shala was dreamy. Staff are really friendly and kind.

The food sounds like it’s going to be amazing on paper, but it didn’t quite deliver for us. Things were a little undercooked, but honestly, if this is the worst we’re doing okay with a few small tweaks this could be perfect.

Me gustó el lugar en el que está, la esencia de las habitaciones y el concepto.

El personal me decepcionó un poco en el trato. La chica de la cocina nos atendió mientras estaba masticando comida (creo que podía esperar dos minutos a terminar con nosotros para comer). La chica de la recepción que nos hizo el checkin fue muy simpática al principio pero luego nos cruzábamos con ella y ni nos miraba, nos parecía un poco incómoda la situación. Hubo un chico que también estaba en recepción que sí que fue muy simpático todo el tiempo. El yoga se hizo en inglés cuando todos éramos hispanos, dificulta un poco la conexión contigo mismo.

Das Selva Minca ist ein wunderschöner Ort mitten im Jungle, mit so viel Konfort, wie man sich an so einem Ort nur wünschen kann. Das Abendessen war ein besonderes Highlight und wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. Auch die Yogaklasse war sehr schön. Es gibt auch fußläufig einen kleinen wunderschönen Wasserfall mittem im Jungle, der bezaubernd ist.

I came here for a couple days of pure relaxation, and this was the perfect place to do it. I stayed in one of the towers, and it was a great and unique experience. You really feel immersed in the nature. The food was great, and the staff friendly and accommodating.

Lugar super tranquilo, la vista desde la habitación (nosotros nos quedamos en el refugio) es sensacional. Vimos muchísimos pájaros y monos desde la ventana. El menú vegetariano está muy bien pensado. Ofrecen clases de yoga gratuitas y se puede acceder al río desde el sendero del hotel.

Very relaxing and quiet place with yoga, good vegetarian food and a zen atmosphere. We stayed in the brick hut, which was big and cozy… and glad we had a mosquito net around our bed :-) Bird watching with the guide David is recommended

L'endroit n'est jamais silencieux, le torrent à proximité qui fait un bruit continu. Les cabanes immergées dans une forêt dense sont toujours humides. Il vaut mieux connaître ces conditions avant de réserver.

A unique and special place. Up above the canopy looking across a high valley in the first of the towers. Big comfy bed with effective mosquito net and another big pull-out bed below. Good alfresco but private hot shower. Our companion appreciated the complementary yoga sessions and lots more was on offer. Amazing place to wake for the dawn chorus - my Merlin app counted 27 species within an hour. Bring binoculars if you have them and maybe take advantage of the local expertise. It was very pleasant simply to sit, watch the birds and enjoy the lush scenery, but it was also good to explore the site. We enjoyed swimming at the Secret Waterfall. Nice people run Selva Minca and they made us very welcome.

Selva Minca was the highlight of our trip, the setting is magical, the food was excellent and the yoga and activities were really special. The staff were so helpful and kind and we were very happy to stay an extra night in the Tree House, one of the most amazing places we have ever slept in! We were also pleasantly surprised that there weren’t too many mosquitos about :)

Amazing, I stayed in one of the beautiful towers and it was just breathtaking. The nature is so close, beautiful birds and plants and all in the lap of luxury (the hammock is amazing!!). The staff are incredibly kind and the food is amazing- really varied and plentiful options, and lots of healthy that is also really really tasty! A magical place!

We stayed for our honeymoon and had an unforgettable stay! Sleeping in a jungle bungalow with the sound of nature and the river was magical. The bungalow was so well equipped and we enjoyed brewing our own coffee and enjoying it in our own hammock whilst trying to spot all of the wildlife. Our highlight was spotting a toucan! We loved starting the day with morning yoga in the most beautiful setting and the food was incredible! We have never tasted so many delicous new fruits - highly recommend the pancakes! A really beautiful setting in the heart of the forest. The staff were all really helpful and friendly.

The extra tours or activities seem very over priced and expensive compared to what else is also offered locally. I guess your paying a premium price for convenience because you are based further out of the town.

This is a truly special place: waking up in an open bungalow to the sounds of the forest was a wonderful experience. At the same time, the bed is comfortable, the mosquito nets work and there is hot water. So if you are a nature lover, but still like your comfort, this is ideal.

La Torre Bungalow è stata un’esperienza unica e mozzafiato. L’intera proprietà è curata nei minimi dettagli e immersa nella natura, con un fiume, cascate e diversi punti dove rilassarsi e fare il bagno. È talmente bella e tranquilla che, per contrasto, esplorare la zona circostante può sembrare quasi meno entusiasmante – non per mancanza di bellezza, ma per l’affollamento. La posizione è perfetta: immersa nel verde, silenziosa e isolata quanto basta, ma comunque a soli 15 minuti a piedi dal centro di Minca. Un’ultima nota va alla cucina, davvero eccellente: piatti sani, realizzati con ingredienti freschi e presentati con grande cura.

Purtroppo, il servizio offerto dallo staff non è minimamente all’altezza della bellezza e del potenziale della struttura, né del prezzo richiesto. La comunicazione avviene esclusivamente tramite WhatsApp, e anche quando ci siamo recati di persona alla reception per una richiesta, ci è stato chiesto comunque di scrivere tutto via messaggio. Nonostante avessimo seguito questa procedura, i nostri ordini sono stati sbagliati più volte: in sole due notti, abbiamo avuto tre errori e un ordine completamente dimenticato. In alcune occasioni, lo staff ha mostrato anche un atteggiamento poco disponibile e poco professionale. Un esempio emblematico: durante un pomeriggio di pioggia, ci siamo fermati al ristorante per ordinare una centrifuga e un caffè. Dopo aver chiesto direttamente al bar, ci è stato detto di rivolgerci alla reception (che si trova a pochi metri di distanza), dove ci è stato nuovamente chiesto di scrivere su WhatsApp. Lo abbiamo fatto e ci siamo seduti proprio davanti, sulla terrazza. Dopo quasi mezz’ora, non avendo ricevuto nulla, siamo tornati alla reception e ci è stato detto che non avevano visto il messaggio. Un’esperienza che lascia davvero perplessi, soprattutto considerando l’incredibile qualità e potenzialità del luogo. Al momento dell’arrivo, viene inviato un insieme di 4-5 brochure ben fatte via WhatsApp, ma a ogni richiesta di chiarimento – sempre via messaggio o anche di persona – lo staff si limita a rimandare al materiale scritto, senza fornire spiegazioni chiare a voce, né sui servizi né sul menu. Infine, per quanto riguarda la struttura in sé – davvero stupenda – riteniamo che, dato il livello della struttura e il prezzo, si potrebbero aggiungere alcuni semplici accorgimenti in termini di sicurezza e comfort, come ad esempio piccole luci solari lungo i percorsi principali (tra camere e ristorante), poiché di notte è molto buio.

Unfortunately the first night of our stay the entire facility lost power due to a thunderstorm but they supplies us with flask light and we were able to charge phones at the reception area because they had a generator

The accommodation itself is very nice and unique for sure. Very peaceful and beautiful place.

It’s not worth the money compared to other nice places in Minca. We also had problems with the warm water of our shower which they were only able to fix on the day of our departure. With this price I would expect a 24/7 service and more things included. Prices are in general too high

Los detalles que incluyen el estar en cada rincón tanto de la habitación, como del resto de lo que está en las instalaciones, sin dudas lo recomiendo, pero por sobre todo la gente que lo lleva adelante; Maca, Michel, Nemesio, Giovana, Liliana, y Felipe, como representante de la cocina (que la comida es excepcional) y todo el personal que se encarga de tener todo cuidado, solo palabras de agradecimiento, ahora solo queda regresar ❤️🙏🏻

Nous avons pris la tour Colibri perchée dans les arbres. C’était une expérience incroyable et unique. L’endroit est magique, le personnel adorable et les plats au restaurant très réussis.

There is supposed to be hot water but it did not work. This was disappointing since we just returned from a Guajira tour where we also did not have any showers for days already. There were 2 blankets on our bed which smelled horrible. It took us a while to identify the cause of the smell, preventing us from a comfortable evening / sleep The walk between the tree house and restaurant / exit is steep and very dark (they should install more lights). We struggled a lot with our suitcases when we had an early check out

Le bengalow assez exceptionnel. Le Chef est bon et très gentil.

J’ai écris en Bien en avance que je souhaitais le bengalow Colibri que nous n’avons pas eu. Pour le prix élevé, le petit dej devrait être inclu. Et au niveau du personnel, l’accueil est tout juste suffisant.

Au milieu de la nature ce lieu est vraiment reposant et ressourçant. L’hôtel propose plein d’activités et le personnel est très à l’écoute et vous aide sans aucun problème. C’est une expérience à faire !

Au milieu de la forêt à 1,5km du village de Minca. Normalement cela permet un accès facile à la randonnée vers la cascade… sauf en cas de fortes pluies Très bon chef : des plats équilibrés ; tout est cuisiné sur place à la demande avec des produits de qualité.

Pas d’électricité donc pas possible d’utiliser les équipements de la chambre. Peu de conseils pour explorer les environs

La posizione , immersa nella natura, i rumori delle cascate in sottofondo e il parco naturale adiacente alla struttura. Colazione Super.

Il bagno all’ esterno della camera . Acqua fredda . Mancanza del phon nella camera . Camera Molto umida tanto che i vestiti rimanevano bagnati per più giorni. Considerando il costo credo che la mancanza dei servizi non elencati non sia giustificata. Infine la cena offriva veramente poca scelta tanto che abbiamo cenato fuori 2 sere di fila.

The property has issues with electricity — out of the 2 night stay 1 day was without power, while other locations in Minca had no issue. Apparently this happens often. At the prices charged you would expect investment in a stable power source. The food ordering is complex, all through WhatsApp few hours in advance. The opening times of the restaurant are very limited. Even simple snacks are not available. When you need some flexibility, you may need to bring your own food. Lastly the area is quite spread out on hilly grounds and very poorly lit. This makes it tricky to walk in evening especially with rain.

We had reserved a few months before two rooms to discover that they then discounted them heavily!!!! We spent two days without electricity and generator beside the room with the noise and smell!!!

Deep in nature, very beautiful grounds, some of the staff were very sweet. The lady named Liliana does incredible yoga classes.

This place is over priced. We didn’t have any electricity in our room for 2 nights and the staff didnt give us any solutions. There were many miscommunications between staff because they do everything by WhatsApp and if there’s no electricity they can’t really communicate. We had some mishaps happen because of this. The food was also overpriced for what it was and on the last day we had all our meals elsewhere because it was cheaper, tastier and bigger portions. At the end of our stay they offered us a free yoga class to compensate for the lack of electricity but the class was happening at the same time we checked out so we couldn’t even do it. I understand that in the jungle the electricity can go off but other hostels in Minca, which are much cheaper, all had electricity while ours didn’t. For the price we paid the hostel should have been more prepared for this kind of situation.

El entorno y el refugio donde dormimos nos encantó, rodeado de naturaleza y buenas vistas, y limpio. La recepción y el restaurante están muy bien decorados y cenamos muy bien a pesar de no ser vegetarianos. El personal estuvo muy pendiente de nosotros. Se puede llegar andando al centro de Minca en 20 min.

El olor a queroseno cuando encendían el generador. Algunos días no tuvimos electricidad ni luz pero no fue problema ya en recepción siempre había posibilidad de cargar y nos facilitaron una lamparita.

La cuisine faite par la cheffe

1. Nous avons été accueilli par des personnes qui sont entrées avec nous dans notre chambre avec leurs chaussures pleines de terre 2. Le logement ne correspond pas aux photos, au lieu d’avoir une vue sur la conopée, nous avions vu dans les feuilles 3. Nous n’avons pas eu d’électricité pendant 24h (sur 36 de séjours) 4. Nous n’avions pas d’eau chaude 5. Nous leur avions donné du linge à laver, il est ressorti sale et ils ne l’ont pas fait séché (nous leur avions annoncé que nous devions partir le lendemain à 4h du matin, ils auraient pu simplement refuser de le prendre en charge, plutôt que de promettre que ça irait et de ne pas pouvoir le faire) 6. 3 chambres sont au dessus des arbres au sec, 3 sont sous les arbres avec une humidité qui imprègne tout

We stayed in the bungalow where there is no sunset view so you need to go to another restaurant to enjoy sunset. We did an experience which we felt was overpriced, it didn't really feel like a class. Staff requested tips at the end and made me feel bad for not adding extra tips, which I don't appreciate when it's already expensive. Food was very tasty but some portions are quite small, I was still hungry after dinner.

Nice ‘vibe’, healthy food, caring staff! Lots of activities/classes to partake in.

Our jungle lodge was a little funky, and was a steep, rather long climb to the reception

The power was out for most of the two days we were there, the paths to the rooms are quite tricky and the treatments are really expensive. We had a 'mud bath' which meant we were handed a pot of mud each. Great fun but not sure it even warrants a charge!

Es un lugar muy agradable, perfecto para desconectarse, descansar y estar tranquilo en medio de la naturaleza. El personal es muy amable y atento, especialmente Ingrid quien estuvo muy pendiente de nuestra estadía. Nos encantó la experiencia!

I booked Selva Minca last minute as I found availability which provided a much better offer and location than my original booking. The staff were extremely attentive from the moment I booked, providing all the activities and extra services available during my stay. I was able to have freshly cooked healthy meals and take part in the mud therapy and yoga classes! The added bonuses were watching the sunset in the evening and waking up the sound of nature each morning! A nice little find and so glad I found it!
