Struttura nuova, pulitissima con camera spaziosa: la guest house é molto comoda per Nilaveli beach e per l'aeroporto. Noi abbiamo prenotato la camera budget senza a/c, ma il ventilatore era sufficiente per il confort notturno. I proprietari sono gentilissimi, hanno preparato una buonissima colazione e sono stati molto disponibili per orari e necessità legate al volo di rientro. Il proprietario si é assicurato personalmente che arrivasse il tuktuk per l'aeroporto. Molto consigliata!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at Mario Family Villa in Negombo, Sri Lanka. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and outstanding hospitality. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. What made our experience truly special was the exceptional service. The hosts were always friendly, helpful, and happy to assist us with transportation, sightseeing recommendations, and planning our trip around Sri Lanka. Their local knowledge and kindness made our holiday much more enjoyable and stress-free. We felt more like family than guests, and it was one of the best accommodations we experienced during our travels. We highly recommend Mario Family Villa to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay in Negombo. Der Gastgeber war sehr nett, hat uns um 23.00 noch geholfen, ein Pick up zum Flughafen zu bekommen.

Można było płacić tylko dolarami. Miałam głównie euro więc za płatność lkr była duza dopłata 1/4 ceny hotelu. Bardzo dużo komarów wpadały przez szparę w drzwiach i oknie

Très propre et confortable. Roshan et sa femme (Rodrigo) sont très serviables et arrangeants. Très bon petit déjeuner aussi, avec quelques spécialités que nous n'avions pas encore goûtées !

Petit détail... Si vous ne trouvez pas l'emplacement final de la maison tout de suite, ne pas hésiter à appeler la guest house (vous, ou votre taxi, ils ont l'habitude, et c'est réglé en 2 minutes !)

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno davvero piacevole. La camera era impeccabile, pulitissima e curata in ogni dettaglio. Il personale si è dimostrato estremamente gentile, disponibile e sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta con il sorriso. Anche il cibo è stato eccellente, con piatti gustosi e preparati con cura. Un’esperienza assolutamente positiva che ci farà tornare con grande piacere. Consigliatissimo!

Praktisch für die erste Nacht. Wenige Gehminuten entfernt von Restaurants, Shops und dem Meer. Zimmer hat eine Klimaanlage.

Die ganze Nacht hörte man laute Musik.

Mario’s villa was situated in a great location in Negombo, easy to walk to the Main Street and the beach. The breakfast kindly cooked for us was delicious. Bed was very clean, comfortable and aircon worked well to keep us cool. We loved staying here and will visit again.

We were happy with our stay and do not have any complaints.

Il proprietario è stato molto disponibile, lasciandoci sistemare in struttura molto presto al mattino. La colazione era ottima e abbondante e la posizione comodissima per la spiaggia e i punti di interesse di Negombo.

Brand new room, clean, modern, nice AC, good location and excellent breakfast. The hosting family was very friendly and helpful. We had a minor issue independent of the hotel, that Mario very kindly helped us navigate and solve. We would definitely recommend!

Stanza semplice c’è tutto l’essenziale che serve per restare poche notti e la posizione è molto comoda vicina al mare.

Nulla in particolare. Mancava il phon e un lenzuolo o una coperta, non che servano effettivamente ma c’è a chi piace coprirsi quando dorme.

Great place for our last night in Sri Lanka. 5 minutes walk to the beach with plenty of restaurants and bars.

• Der Empfang: Wir wurden sehr freundlich und unkompliziert vom Sohn der Gastgeberfamilie empfangen. Man fühlt sich in dieser familiären Atmosphäre sofort gut aufgehoben. • Zustand & Sauberkeit: Die Villa ist neu eröffnet und dementsprechend modern und in einem top Zustand. Alles war wirklich blitzsauber – man merkt, dass hier sehr auf Details geachtet wird. • Außergewöhnlicher Service: Ein riesiges Plus war die Hilfsbereitschaft der Familie: Wir durften zwei Taschen mit Souvenirs und Einkäufen, die wir während unserer Reise gesammelt hatten, unkompliziert zwischenlagern. Wir holen sie vor unserem Abflug einfach wieder ab – das hat uns logistisch extrem entlastet! • Gesamteindruck: Die gelagerten Taschen sind aber definitiv nicht der einzige Grund, warum wir uns auf unsere Rückkehr freuen. Die Herzlichkeit und die Qualität der Unterkunft haben uns absolut überzeugt

The host family was very warm and welcoming. They guided the cab driver to the house when I was lost. Lovely experience.

Die Familie war sehr nett und hat alles bestmögliche getan, um unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm, wie möglich, zu gestalten. Dazu gehörten ein früherer Check-in, weil wir sehr zeitig mit dem Flugzeug ankamen, Flughafen Transfer und die Hilfe bei unseren Weiterfahrt zum nächsten Ziel. Das Zimmer war sauber und mit allem, was man braucht, ausgestattet.

La proximité de la plage et des restaurants. La chambre est propre et eau chaude.

La difficulté à le localiser. Le service voiture aéroport : 15$ quand un pick me en vaut 3 fois moins. C’est pas ce qu’on peut appeler rendre service. Demande à payer en dollar mais billet un peu abîmé donc ne veut pas le prendre. Certainement vouloir gagner au change et le billet en valait un peu moins car pas neuf. Faire payer un supplément pour utiliser la clim, c’est la première fois qu’on voit cela.

Nos decepcionó bastante el personal, en todos los comentarios hablan muy bien de él pero a nosotros nos decepcionó un poco. Una noche nos quedamos encerrados fuera, volvimos a las 23:00 y estaba todo cerrado, tuvimos que llamarle para que nos abriese y al día siguiente al pagarle la estancia cogió el dinero de malas formas y apenas se despidió de nosotros ni nos ofreció ayuda para coger un taxi ni nada. No nos gustó el gesto.

Das Zimmer war komfortabel mit einer warmen Dusche und einer guten Klimaanlage. Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse war lecker. Die Gastgeber waren zurückhaltend freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Transfer vom Flughafen in die Unterkunft wurde organisiert.

I loved everything! The room was spacious, clean and all the furnitures were new! And I think we had the best mattress of all our trip in Sri Lanka! 😍 The location was great and the family super nice

La Villa di Mario è un posto accogliente, comodo, pulito. la colazione è stata variegata ed abbondante. Ma il motivo che mi ha fatto scegliere questa struttura sono state le recensioni sull organizazione dei tour da parte del figlio giovanissimo. Mathisha è un ragazzo eccezionale sia da un punto di vista professionale che umano! è difficile pensare che sia così giovane e cosi maturo allo stesso tempo. Ha organizzato il nostro viaggio in maniera accuratissima ed è sempre stato attento ad ogni esigenza fino all ultimo istante del tour. Se il nostro viaggio in Sri Lanka è stato così meraviglioso sicuramente gran parte del merito è suo. grazie Mathisha!

Its family run and felt very warm and friendly

Stanza sufficientemente grande, pulita e dotata di quanto necessario. La famiglia che ci ospitava è stata veramente gentile e disponibile, ci ha aiutato a risolvere piccoli e più grandi problemi. Posizione ottima.

Los anfitriones han sido muy amables siempre dispuestos a ayudar en todo. El sitio muy tranquilo, cerca hay varios restaurantes donde se come muy bien. La playa esta a 5 min a pie para dar paseos por la arena.En tuk tuk se llega muy rapido al centro. De hecho seguro que reservamos el dia antes de irnos.

Mario and his family are great, they’ll help you in everything you need! They welcomed us late at our arrival and the next day when leaving helped us for the journey! Breakfast was excellent!

We had the big new room at the first floor with a terrace. Spacious and beautiful room, high to the ceiling. You can sit outside, the good breakfast is also being served outside. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood, 5 minutes' walk to the beach and a road with lots of restaurants of shops. A perfect place to arrive from the airport and spend 1-2 nights before continuing. The hosts are a super friendly, helpful family, which arranged for us to be fetched from the airport and even booked reserved seats for our further travel in a climatized bus to Anuradhapura. They also brought us to the bus stop, which was a great help! We can really recommend Marios Family House. Would definitely go there again.

We had an amazing experience. The room was comparable to a 5☆ resort. Roshan and his wife went the extra mile to accommodate us as we had a late check-out. Highly recommended. Location was perfect. Close to amazing eating outlets and the beach.

Schöne Unterkunft mit sehr netten Gastgebern. Die Unterkunft liegt Nahe am Strand in ruhiger Gegend. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Great place to stay in Negombo, stayed for one night but would have stayed longer! The family are lovely and were very helpful. They organized a tuk tuk tour for us with Christy which was great value and his local knowledge was excellent. The breakfast was delicious and the room was clean and had good air conditioning. Thanks again!

Wir hatten ein wunderschönes Zimmer, welches bei Booking gar nicht zu sehen ist. Sehr modern, neu und eigentlich mehr Geld wert. Ich denke das Zimmer wurde neu gemacht und ist nicht bei Booking drin. Muss man wahrscheinlich Glück haben, dass das schöne Zimmer frei ist. Die anderen Zimmer haben wir nicht gesehen. Warmes Wasser aus einer modernen und schönen Dusche. Preis hervorragend

Super Unterkunft um nach der lange Reise eine Nacht zum Verschnaufen zu verbringen:) Mario war sehr nett und hat uns einige gute Tipps für unsere weitere Reise gegeben. Der Strand ist in 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Frühstück war auch besonders gut! In der Umgebung gibt es auch sehr gute Restaurants, wo man sich schon mal mit der unglaublich guten Sri Lanka Küche vertraut machen kann.
