A bit pricey for a rack of firewood and it could be provided complimentary as most of others do.

There wasn’t anything , I will definitely recommend it to friends and family and will hopefully be able to visit again.

The setting is absolutely beautiful — surrounded by nature, with peaceful views, a flowing river, and a truly relaxing atmosphere. The highlight for us was the hot outdoor bath tub — such a unique and calming experience, especially in the cool Midlands weather. The pool area was also great, and everything felt very well maintained. One of the best parts of the stay was the forest hike on the property. It’s scenic, peaceful, and perfect for slowing down and reconnecting with nature. Overall, a perfect getaway if you’re looking to unwind, enjoy nature, and escape the busy routine. Highly recommended — we would definitely come back!

Reviewed Apr 10, 2026Great location, with tranquil setting. Host was lovely, and their little dog was a welcomed visitor. Clean, neat, with everything that ypu need, even the baisics like coffee, salt & pepper and oil! There is ice and an honest bar on site. The hot tub was amazing, and the private deck with braai area over looking the the midlands hills was the perfect end to a day. We'll definitely be back! Only downside, you cannot select your preferred site.

Reviewed Apr 9, 2026When we arrived our hot tub was pre-lit as per our request and we could enjoy a wonderful soak in the light drizzle The forest walk was great and the forest swing was a wonderful surprise. It made us feel like kids again. The deck, views and peaceful surroundings were amazing. We lit the fireplace the second night which made the whole tent cosy and warm The farm is absolutely stunning with the river, trees and places to just sit and relax The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was such a treat to stay there. Would highly recommend it

Reviewed Dec 29, 2025The location was very peaceful. My family thoroughly enjoyed their first time in a camping environment and it was very pleasant experience. The hot tub was a hit. The accommodation had everything to enjoy a comfortable camping experience. The surrounding area outside the farm had a good variety of eateries and sightseeing activities. Definetly going to visit the other Africamps locations in the future.

The only small issue was that one of the bedroom doors did not latch which left no privacy for the couples room as it could not stay closed.

The fridge is small but they do have a cooler box in the kitchen - so don’t forget to buy a bag of ice to keep drinks cool and pack board games/cards.

Personally, possibly warming up the hot tub as a complimentary service would be a nice touch.

Some additional coffee and tea supplies, fresh milk and more bottled water would be useful, when reception is closed. But this is not a dislike, just a suggestion.
