Wild Village Stay Gokarna

Nice quiet location set away from the town, good basic kitchen with utensils and a good sized bathroom. The place is very clean and the owner is very nice and helpful. No AC but the room is still comfortable with just the fan.

Our stay was surrounded by nature in the most beautiful way—lush greenery, birds singing, and the peaceful sounds of the forest all around. The porch opened up to a stunning view of the green forest, making it the perfect spot to sit back, unwind, and simply enjoy the tranquillity. The entire experience was incredibly relaxing and peaceful. If you love nature, quiet mornings, and being away from the hustle and bustle, this place is truly a little piece of heaven. A special mention to Ganesh Anna, who was such a warm, welcoming, and friendly host. He was extremely helpful throughout our stay and even helped us arrange a rental bike without any fuss, making our trip that much easier. Big kudos to Ganesh Anna for his wonderful hospitality! We would happily come back again. 🌿❤️

A few basic toiletries and kitchen essentials were missing, but since the property is still a work in progress, we’re sure these will be added in the future.

My stay at Gaanish’s place in Gokarna was much more than simply having somewhere to stay. Gaanish is warm, transparent and genuinely attentive, someone who really gets involved to make everything easier. From the moment I arrived, he was there to help. He came to pick me up on his motorbike, but since I had my luggage, we eventually arranged a tuk-tuk and he gave the driver all the directions to reach the house. Throughout my stay he was always attentive, took me out for dinner nearby, and shared little moments that made the experience much more personal. It was also Gaanish who showed me my first kokum tree, something that ended up having a special meaning during this journey. One of the greatest things about the place is its location: surrounded by trees and lush vegetation, you really feel as though you are staying in the middle of the jungle. It is a beautiful way to experience Gokarna close to nature. I leave deeply grateful to Gaanish for his warmth, generosity and for becoming part of my experience in Gokarna.

The stay was at an amazing location in the centre of the town. More importantly the owner of the property Mr Gaanish bhai is really welcoming and helpful. He arranged all the items we requested him. Would definitely come back to the same location for a workation.

Taxis won't go anywhere near due to slender paths and road. Too far to walk to anywhere in the heat. Too dangerous to rent a scooter for me. Also, i left 2 nights early, I still paid for these nights , and the owner was knocking on my door at 13.30 to vacate. 2 days early

The place was everything we needed! It had a wonderful kitchen, the room was spacious and clean, and the area was very quiet and immersed in nature. The villa is also located just next to the village, which is perfect to reach everything also on foot:) We truly loved it! Also, the owner was absolutely accommodating and made sure we could do a check-in, also after our long travel, and helped us:) We would definitely come back when back in Gokarna!

die matratze in meinem zimmer war extrem schlecht. jede einzelne metallfeder drückte gegen den körper. nicht für bauchschläfer geeignet. ich glaube es war eher eine untermatratze. die matratze im nachbarzimmer war gut. der garten vor dem haus muss aufgeräumt werden. da liegt ziemlich viel müll.

Sehr entspannt, sauber, freundlicher Gastgeber! Haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt und gut geschlafen, ruhig im Zimmer und dennoch zentral in Gokarna gelegen.

Our visit here was super amazing...staying in midst of a peaceful surrounding with the sound of birds chirping...super close to the city and temple, the host Ganesh anna was very friendly and made us feel at home, he made the stay very comfortable and convenient for us, the room was spacious, clean...the bathroom was also very clean....a must visit place when in Gokarna

The accomodation is so peaceful. I spent here 4 days and discovered different areas of Gokarna. You can reach everything quite easlily from here and at the same time it is a beautiful safe haven. I could sit all day on the terrace, do yoga, watch monkeys and birds. The Host, Ganesh, is very kind and helpful so that there is great atmosphere all around. Thank you & Namasté, Robin

Couldnt find the location. Was not able to reach the place , the owner's phone was switched off, had to find a place at 10pm in gokarna(after a 14hr drive) when actually all stays were booked. Had to spend a night at a below average hotel.

The service was absolutely fantastic! It was the best stay you could ever get in Gokarna. I’ll highly recommend it to everyone. The room was spotless with a clean bed, sheets, pillows, and even a small refrigerator and kitchenette for cooking. You’ll also get Maggi packets, tea, and other essentials. You can totally relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of Gokarna. The best part was the service. Anna was so friendly and helpful. He helped us to make sure we had a great time. We’ll definitely be back again!

It was super clean, the location was amazing, super close to town but also walking distance to Kudle beach (via back path.) felt like a little oasis next to town. Although it doesn’t have air on we found that the fan was more than enough!

Lovely, clean room with private bathroom & cooking facilities in a quiet, peaceful, location in nature. Off the beaten track but only a few mins walk from everything. Ganesh went out of his way to help me in every way possible. Lovely man. Would highly recommend. 5 🌟

Not that I dislike this. But I felt car parking near to the room is not possible. The passage to the room is very narrow that only bikes can pass.. but it is not far from the road either.
