Reviewed Sep 5, 2026Just next door to Lost World of Tambun, very convenient for my trip there. Apartment is tastefully decorated, feels new, clean, fully airconditioned, have all the necessities that we need (e.g. TV, refrigerator, microwave, safe box, crisp & clean white towels, pillows & extra pillows, bathroom water heater, hair dryer, iron & iron board, hangar, cloth drying stand, shampoo, body wash, hand soap etc) and fit my family of 6. Even provided coffee and tit bits for the kids. Great view overlooking the Lost World of Tambun. Close to eateries, shops and hospital. The place is easy to find (the guide provided by the host makes it even more easier), free parking, free wifi and the guards are always around to assist us during the check-in and check-out process. We didnt manage to use all the other benefits (e.g. pool etc) since we spent the full day at Lost World Tambun. Highly recommended and we will definately come again.

Reviewed May 4, 2026The unit was big and clean with all the amenities. The pool had a gorgeous view of the karst cliffs. The onsen pool was great for a post-workout soak.
This is far from quiet as the unit faces the theme park - the music at the park starts before 9am and grows louder with each hour, so its impossible to sleep And when the activities start later in the morning, it is plainly audible even with all the windows closed. Granted I was there during the long weekend, but it is definitely not a restful stay. I actually wanted the studio apartment which wouldn't face the theme park, but the hosts changed to the larger apartment which does. And I wasn't informed till the day before I arrived. The key cards to access the lifts don't always work - guests get stuck in the lift and can spend several minutes just trying to get their key cards read and often miss their floors. And there was construction all around, so every time I need to drive into the condo, there's the possibility of a jam leading in.

Reviewed Jan 20, 2026The apartment is well maintained, spotless, and comes with all the essential amenities a traveler might need. We had a great view of the Lost World of Tambun from the balcony and main room, and the park is conveniently located just a 2–3 minute walk away.
We didn’t expect loud music from the theme park at 6 am on a Sunday. I assume it might have been a rare occurrence due to a special event happening that day. We had chosen this accommodation specifically for the Onsen, but discovered after visiting the pool that it was not operational. This was quite disappointing. A heads-up from the host would have been appreciated. Unless you’re driving (which we fortunately were), the location can be a bit inconvenient as there are no convenience stores or eateries nearby.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2025The room was better than pictured which is very rare. The hosts were quick to respond and were wonderful to converse with. The property is in the perfect location if you are visiting the water park. I should also mention that the towels were good, there where facial tissues as well as Q-tips.
The host knows that I wasn't happy with not having hot water while showering. I tried both showers with different water heaters and the host was gracious enough to allow me to try another apartment but the same results. If you have no problem with a cooler shower than this will not be a concern. I am used to having hot water at the many places I have stayed across Asian and Europe. As I said, the host went beyond what was expected to try to resolve this for me. The distance from town/restaurants'/food stores was a little bit but like I said, if you want proximity to the water park it is perfect and this would be each persons choice.

There wasn’t anything specific we didn’t like, it would be handy to have a mini supermarket at the hotel for convenience. Sunway are currently constructing a mall next door so once this is built it will help with this!

Didn't like the ppl after swimming from the pool and with wet bodies going into the lift. My husband almost fell down because of the wet floor. The management should tighten the rules even if rules and regulations mentioned it.

Keukeninrichting is minimaal, er is 1 elektrische kookplaat, maar geen koekenpan. Wasmachine was heerlijk voor na het zwemmen

I get to enjoy the lost world of tambun until 11pm and just let ourself completely dry and went back to the apartment. The house is clean. Also got a washing machine to wash wet cloth after a great day at tambun. Will book again another time.

The unfriendly guard. Some of them couldn't help and refused to listen to the tenant. There is only 1 key for the whole family. We stayed there for 2 nights. Some of us went to the lost world of Tambun, and the other group went to Ipoh city centre. We left the key in the pigeon hole, but when we came back to the apartment, the guard refused to let us in (door lobby) to collect the key from the box. We were told that the QR Code, which was used to pass through the door at the lobby, can only be used once. Can you improve this matter? Please give at least 2 sets of cards (key) if the apartment has 2 rooms or improve the QR function.
