Es war sehr cool und geschickt, dass man direkt bei ihm Roller ausleihen konnte und so alles sehr gut erreichbar war. Es war auch allgemein sehr sauber und eine schöne Lage, direkt in den chocolate hills. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können es sehr weiter empfehlen!

We stayed with Lorenzo a few days ago, and we are still talking about what a wonderful experience it was. We booked our room very spontaneously late in the evening because we realized we wouldn’t make it back to Panglao after visiting the Chocolate Hills. Despite the last-minute reservation, Lorenzo welcomed us with genuine warmth, and our room was already prepared when we arrived. From the very first moment, we felt comfortable and at home. The room was cozy, peaceful, and offered a beautiful view of the palm trees and surrounding fields. It was the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring Bohol. During our stay, we unexpectedly ran into a few problems, and Lorenzo went out of his way to help us. He responded quickly, gave us excellent advice, and even recommended a medical clinic that we visited the following morning. We truly appreciated his kindness and willingness to help. The breakfast was another highlight of our stay. It reminded us of Italy—the quality of the ingredients and the authentic flavors made it one of the best breakfasts we had during our trip. Lorenzo is an exceptionally kind and caring host, and his lovely son made the atmosphere even more welcoming. We wholeheartedly recommend staying here. The value for money exceeded our expectations by far, and we would gladly return in the future.

We had a lovely stay here, Lorenzo was so hospitable and helped us with anything we needed helping us organise a tour of Bohol and are taxis to and from the port. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the views around the property were beautiful especially at sunrise and sunset. The perfect location to see the chocolate hills and a lovely spot to just relax.

Nothing, everything was exceptional. We can’t thank Lorenzo and his family enough for such a lovely time staying with them.

Le petit-déjeuner était très bon et préparé avec soin. Mention spéciale aussi au petit chat de la maison, adorable et très câlin. A 20min à pied des chocolate hills, cette guesthouse est une pépite. Le propriétaire est adorable et cuisine extrêmement bien. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison, l’accent italien en plus !

Ich kann die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Ein schöner Ort, der als Ausgangspunkt für die Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe dient. Mein Zimmer mit dem Blick zum gepflegten Garten war sehr sauber, es gibt Ablagen und eine sehr ruhig laufende Klimaanlage. Der Gastgeber ist sehr hilfsbereit, engagiert und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist fantastisch und liebevoll zubereitet. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist einfach top. Man kann nicht mehr erwarten! Vielen Dank für die wunderbare Gastfreundschaft!

Nous avons réservé ce logement à la dernière minute. Lorenzo est adoranle et nous a donné de bons conseils pour les visites. Situé au pied des chocolate hills. Sachez qu'il y a un point de vue gratuit le long de la route ça vous évitera la cohue du view point officiel. Logement propre et confortable. Bien équipé

Le petit déjeuner était en deca de ce que nous avions eu tout au long de notre séjour. Nous n'avons pas eu la chance de pouvoir goûter la cuisine réputée de Lorenzo ( au vu de notre réservation en dernière minute et je déconseille les restaurants aux alentours

I had a wonderful time staying here. The location was perfect for visiting the Chocolate Hills. Lorenzo was an amazing host and I was certainly glad to order his food during my stay (the pasta was SO good)! He also helped order me a tuk tuk for the next leg of my vacation. I would highly recommend staying if you are considering visiting the Chocolate Hills area.

L’emplacement tout près de Chocolate hills est top. Lorenzo nous a préparé de bons petits plats italiens avec lesquels nous nous sommes régalés. Ses conseils de visite nous ont permis de découvrir des endroits dont nous n’avions pas entendu parler et qui font partie de nos meilleurs souvenirs ( Alicia, Anda) nous reviendrons avec plaisir 😉

Nous avons passé une nuit chez Lorenzo et c’était sans aucun doute l’un de nos meilleurs hébergements aux Philippines. Le cadre est vraiment agréable, les chambres spacieuses et très confortables. La localisation est idéale puisque juste à côté de plusieurs points de vue sur les Chocolate Hills, accessibles à pied. L’accueil de Lorenzo était chaleureux et nous avons particulièrement apprécié sa cuisine. Après 11 mois de voyage ça faisait tellement de bien de se sentir comme à la maison, avec de délicieux repas et de vrais produits italiens. Merci encore ☺️

Einfache aber sehr schöne und sehr saubere Unterkunft, die von einem Italiener (Lorenzo) betrieben wird. Es gibt indirekte Beleuchtung am Bett, ein Nachtschränkchen, einen großen Spiegel, Kissen für die Verandamöbel, schöne flauschige Handtücher, schöne Bettwäsche, doppellagiges Toilettenpapier, eine abgetrennte Dusche, einen Wasserkocher- alles Dinge die in dieser Preisklasse auf den Philippinen selten zu finden sind. Das Bett ist groß und sehr bequem, die Klimaanlage funktioniert sehr gut und leise. Die Lage ist optimal um den Sonnenaufgang auf den chocolate Hills zu erleben (15 Minuten zu Fuß bis ganz oben)- ein wirklich einmaliges Erlebnis. Lorenzo ist ein wunderbarer Gastgeber und ein feiner und sehr aufmerksamer Mensch. Er versucht wirklich alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Tolles Frühstück mit echtem Cappuccino (Standard ist süß, wer es herzhaft mag, sollte unbedingt das Omelette probieren, das war wirklich das beste Omelette auf unserer gesamten Reise) und tolles Abendessen- bis 16:00 bestellen, Lorenzo kocht phantastisch. Es gibt eine Tischdecke und Kerzen… Man kann auch gute Mopeds mieten und die Gegend erkunden (Wasserfälle, Tarsiere, Reisfelder, Loboc River)

Die Lage war fantastisch - direkt gegenüber von den Chocolate Hills. Wir konnten auch einen ganzen Tag mit dem Moped die Gegend erkunden. Der Tarsierpark ist auch unweit von der Unterkunft. Ausserdem war der Wirt super hilfreich. Er hat uns ein Taxi organisiert, uns ein Moped ausgeliehen (in SEHR gutem Zustand) und super gut gekocht. Ein Rundumtalent!

Es waren viele Mücken und die Zimmertür war etwas schwer zuzuschliessen.

The Bamboo Garden Inn is conveniently located right in the Chocolate Hills. The owner is very dedicated to fulfilling every wish, and we were able to enjoy a wonderful Italian lasagna in the evening. A pool is supposed to be added, which will surely make the stay even more perfect. Thanks again to Lorenzo for the hospitality!

Die Lage zu den Hills ist einfach nur mega. Die Unterkunft, sowie auch die chill Area und der Sitzbereich im Grünen Reisfeld ist top. Sehr saubere und geräumige Unterkunft. Lorenzo hat eine sehr gute Auswahl an Gerichten. Abendessen und Frühstück war tip top:)

L’hôte Lorenzo était adorable et très flexible. Nous pouvions tout lui demander, et il prévoyait même pour nous des tuktuk à l’avance ainsi que des vans. Sa nourriture était très bonne et même pour le petit déjeuner il s’adapte ! On était central pour se déplacer pour visiter et à 15min à pieds des Chocolate Hills.

C’est très mal insonorisé et on entend tout. L’odeur des égouts dans la salle de bain. Aucun restaurant à proximité ou d’ouvert à 8pm.

Wir verbrachten hier nur eine Nacht, um zu Fuß zum Sonnenaufgang zu den Chocolate Hills zu gehen. Die Chocolate Hills sind in 15 min fußläufig erreichbar. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und der italienische Gastgeber ausgesprochen nett. Abends haben wir leckere Italienische Pasta gegessen und zum Frühstück einen leckeren Kaffee getrunken.

Very well located, nice owner (who is a good cook as well!), clean & comfortable apartment, and very affordable. Would 100% stay here again! It is only a few minutes from the Chocolate Hills, and with a motorcycle it is very easy to explore the island due to its centrality.

Lorenzo hat uns vo A bis Z verwöhnt. Herzlicher Empfang, feines Essen, exelente Probiererli und das mitten im Grünen an einer Traumhaften Lage Wunderschönes und sauberes Zimmer. Da wir unsere Ferien kurzfristig abbrechen mussten, war uns Lorenzo eine grosse Hilfe. Roller gibt es vor Ort zu mieten um die tolle Gegend zu erkunden. Zu Fuss kommt man zu den Chocolate Hills in kurzer Zeit. Vielen Dank und gerne wieder.

Without a doubt best place to stay near the “Chocolate” hills! Great, calm place with kind Italian host. Fresh OG pasta and coffee! Comfy room with warm shower and silent AC.

Von vorne bis hinten ein schöner Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer ist groß und bietet alles was man benötigt. Die Lage ist mitten auf der Insel, wodurch man die ganze Insel mit Tagestouren besichtigen kann und genau neben den Chocolate Hills. Das beste an der Unterkunft ist allerdings Lorenzo, der Gastgeber. Er ist super hilfsbereit, kümmert sich um jedes Anliegen und von seinem italienischen Essen konnten wir gar nicht genug bekommen. Wir würden jedem diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen!

Lorenzo is een zeer vriendelijke host, hij maakt heerlijk ontbijt met echte Italiaanse koffie. De kamer is basic maar alles werkt goed. Een degelijke wc en echt wcpapier, stevige katoenen badhanddoeken van Europese kwaliteit. Je zit op 5’ wandelen van de Chocolate hills en je kan ook een scooter huren bij hem om het eiland verder te verkennen. Bohol heeft heel wat te bieden en Lorenzo kent heel wat interessante plekken.

Wir haben wetrvolle Tipps bekommen was Essen und Sehenswerte Orte angeht, Roller vor Ort mieten können und Lorenzo hat italienisch gekocht, was sehr lecker war.

Es war ein toller Aufenthalt bei Lorenzo, der mir nicht nur philippinenspezifische Tipps geben konnte 😄 sondern mir auch half, meinen Jetlag zu überwinden. Der Gastgeber hat mich mit allem versorgt, was ich brauchte. Die Umgebung und der Garten sind sehr stilvoll gestaltet, sogar mit einer Hängematte, in der ich stundenlang entspannen konnte. Nach ein paar Tagen der Erholung habe ich es endlich zu den Chocolate Hills geschafft, die gut zu Fuss erreichbar sind. Der Sonnenaufgang dort war ein echtes Highlight!  Roller und Fahrräder können direkt vor Ort gemietet werden, perfekt um die Umgebung flexibel zu erkunden. Selbst Frühstück und Abendessen werden auf Wunsch serviert, sodass man sich um nichts kümmern muss.

It was a perfect location for my trip: just 15 in walking to Chocolate Hills. I went there for sunrise: there were almost no people, and it is free before 6 AM. The host Lorenzo is a very nice and helpful man. The property is very clean and well maintained. The water kettle is a nice plus. I would definitely stay there again.

This accommodation exceeded our expectations. It is extremely clean, beautifully decorated, and the rooms are brand new. We felt very comfortable during our stay and even had the chance to meet the owner, who was very kind and welcoming. The location is fantastic - we were able to walk the next morning to enjoy the sunrise at the Chocolate Hills. Everything about this place is first class, especially the comfort and cleanliness. We can highly recommend staying here!

Posizione favolosa, host fantastico, camere ampie e pulite si vede che è gestita da un occidentale e in questo caso da un ottimo Italiano che sa cosa fà. Si arriva qui di passaggio e poi finisci sempre di prolungare di qualche giorno.

La struttura è molto bella, pulita e da qui le chocolate Ills sono raggiungibili a piedi. Le ho viste all’alba un emozione pazzesca, da non perdere. Lorenzo l’host è meraviglioso molto gentile e disponibile a risolvere ogni tuo desiderio.
