Reviewed Aug 6, 2026Struttura moderna a due passi dalla spiaggia principale di Las Terrenas e dalle spiagge più belle della Repubblica Dominicana (raggiungibili a piedi Punta Popy e Las Ballenas). Sita in un complesso moderno con bar, ristorante, farmacia, boutique, che si ispira a due grandi navi e che inizialmente può sembrare un po' troppo di impatto nell'ambiente circostante, si dimostra molto accogliente e vicina ai principali servizi del villaggio. Appartamenti ampi e moderni dotati di aria condizionata con cucina attrezzata, frigo e microonde e balcone (nel nostro caso). Disponibile parcheggio se si ha l'auto. Alcuni appartamenti hanno anche una Jacuzzi interna o esterna. Colazione abbondante ma poco varia al bar sottostante (italiano). Staff molto disponibile. Il mio appartamento è stato molto tranquillo in termini di rumori circostanti, considerato l'alto tasso di rumori delle strade del villaggio.

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026Hotel con muy buena infraestructura, cuidado, buena atención, con restaurantes y negocios en su planta baja. Al cruzar la calle ya estás en la playa, cercano a playa punta Popy y las Ballenas que son hermosas . Pedí planta baja pero las habitaciones comienzan en 2do piso.
Reservé habitación con linda vista a un jardín y me alojaron con una vista espantosa desde mi balcón.

Room size was great and everything worked as expected in the room. Breakfast was made to order (from few options) and not a Buffett style, which was a nice surprise.
One of the pools was out of service, and they rent the area between the buildings (boats) for events which can be disturbing and annoying.

Reviewed Jun 10, 2026The room was very nice; the only real issue was the drinking/cooking water for the room was in a small bottle that needed to be refilled often. The refill station was empty most of the time even after several notices to the office the water station was empty. This made a trip to the store a few times during the stay to buy water. A cheap and simple solution of having a 5-gallon water dispenser in the room solves the problem. Also, an outside shower for rinsing after the beach would be a huge plus.
Location and the breakfast is excellent. The staff was pleasant and the nearby stores and shopping were very nice. The central location is great for visiting a lot within a short walk.

The hotel is constructed like two boats washed ashore, which is very unusual and quirky. The location felt safe and perfect as a base for exploring the nearby beaches. The size of my apartment was huge (I was kindly given an upgrade upon arrival). But even the smaller apartment I had booked would have been perfect.
The wifi wasn't the fastest, but not problematic.

Nicht gefallen ist zu heftig ausgedrückt, aber in Sachen Frühstück haben wir etwas mehr bzw. anderes erwartet (Auswahl).

Reviewed Feb 27, 2026Sehr gutes Hotel, europäischer Standard in Sachen Ausstattung und Bad. Sehr netter Kontakt zu den Mitarbeitern, sehr kompetent an der Rezeption, gutes Englisch. Hotelpools klein, aber auch wenig belegt.
Hotel liegt an der Hauptverkehrsstraße und die Dominikaner sind sehr hupfreudig. Mein Zimmer (Boot A) lag zur Straße raus und war bis spät in die Nacht sehr laut. Die angeblich schalldämpfenden Scheiben nützen da nichts. Ich war allerdings gewarnt, mit ANC-Kopfhörern war es gut auszuhalten.

Sushi war am besten! Frühstück war auch gut mit Bedienung am Tisch. Sehr guter Kaffee und Espresso Italiano ! Sehr netter Service freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Ist nicht direkt am Strand . Disco in der Nähe sehr laut aber mit geschlossenen Fenster ist es ok. Warmes Wasser fehlt. Pool sehr klein macht kaum Sinn.
