Coastal Pearl Hotel Margao Railway Station

Bedroom areas are completely different as mentioned from the amenities mentioned.

It was pretty clean. Some of the staff members were helpful and some were not.

They assigned us a room in which the fan was making too much noise, when we asked them to either get that repaired or change our room, they said they do not have any other room available, and we have to adjust. We had an argument and eventually they gave us a different room. In this room, the fan was working at the same speed on 1-2-3-4 (very slow) and at 5, it was like a burst (very high speed).

Nothing, just toilet and food was fine but still there were some areas in toilet wasn’t even cleaned properly.

As we expected Delux room it was completely opposite. I paid about 2000₹ and imagined that room would pay me back but the buttons were broken, Air con wasn’t clean, Toilet was fine but still few corners left as many hair found in the cornor. The kettle was rusty so avoided to use. Window door’s cornor covered with fungus. Bedsheet wasn’t even clean, blanket too, even Towels were smelling like some kind of fuel(diesal or some chemical). Paying more than 1700₹ and getting literally 1 star hotel was not good experience.

5 Minuten zu Fuß vom Bahnhof entfernt. Große Zimmer, ruhig, Tolle Dachterrasse, sehr komfortable Matratze, was in Indien nicht selbstverständlich ist, sehr freundliches Personal und sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Nach einer Zugreise sehr empfehlenswert! Sehr gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis!

Poori with patli baaji and aloo paratha was the best items in breakfast. The location of the hotel is good as it is close to the railway station. Staff was very helpful.

The room we booked were deluxe rooms. But when we saw the rooms at the premises, the rooms were not as per shown in the pictures. So we had to go for superior rooms by paying extra charges. Not much items in breakfast menu. Items used to get empty soon and it used to take time for refill.

Room was not cleaned properly, Bad sheet was dirty, Glasses and cups were dusty. Bath towel, dental kit not provided, Hotel does not have their restaurant and there is not telephone service in room so we can call room service or house keeping.

It is near the railway station. But vegetarian restaurants are 1 km away.

Some small confusion over the free breakfast We asked what time it was served till at about 8.30am and said anytime . We went at 10.20 aps got packed and showered first Finished at 10 Probably the language barrier so wasn't annoyed or anything but maybe put info in room for guests so understood

It was really comfortable, good mattrasses, very clean bathroom and toilet and really very near to the railway station app five minutes with the luggage

Breakfast was good. Staff were polite and helpful. Rooms were clean.

There is no mini fridge in the room. There is no hot water in the shower or wash basin. Bedside phone wasn't working. The Wifi signal was weak. To connect to reception, we have to use our cell phone n call the number. Bedside lamps are not functioning in spite of informing the staff twice to replace bulbs. The dining area had mosquitoes n was only open for breakfast. There is no meeting place to host guests. There is no key card given as mentioned in facilities. The ac had water leaking in the room. Mind well we were upgraded to deluxe rooms from standard rooms as keys were defective, and ac weren't working.

Hotel charged me 7000 per night so I was expecting at least 3 star facilities. It turned out to be a 2000 per night hotel. In the name of toilettories they provided only 2 pieces of 10 Rs soap. No shampoo, No brush, No comb, nothing. They didn't even provided mineral water bottles inside rooms. The room service guy filled the bottles with whatever water God knows. Absolutely no choices for breakfast. Pathetic wifi.

Location is near to Madgaon railway station, Very Neat and staffs are humble.

AC seems unable to maintain the cooling in a room and breakfast was just average with limited options.

Very convenient for the train station and helpful reception staff.

Rooms were a bit run down with sheets a bit stained, although they were laundered. Breakfast was OK, but a bit limited.

The proximity to the railway station was convenient, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

1. Cleanliness 4 / 10 - floors were sticky, bathroom accessories were dirty (mug had mold), and the bathroom door wouldn't close. 2. Hot water was unavailable for the shower.

The staff was extremely professional and friendly. Being a solo woman traveler, I felt very safe and comfortable. The stay was much beyond my expectations in all aspects.

The ac were not cleaned n not cooling I was asked to move me to another room the intercom was not working in the new room shifted The tie up with the hotel is not that good. In fact Rc hotel is better there should be 2 to 3 options for food Breakfast also should be a good spread like poha upma idli etc

Facilities were great, bed was comfortable and bathroom was spacious and well kept.

It’s quite far from anywhere to get something to eat, however it is very close to the railway station.

Breakfast was adequate and filling. Only issue is the area feels a bit isolated after dark. We were not sure whether it was safe to go out for a walk.

The room that was given to us (101) was leaking from everywhere. The sink was leaking, the AC was dripping. Even the shower spring was spoilt and led to lot of wastage of water.

Breakfast was poor preparation not ready and made people to wait in line for food.

Location was very near to Madgoan Railway Station. Ideal for staying whilst waiting for a night train. The staff was very helpful.

The area around that side of Madgoan Station is very run down with lots of beggars (not the hotel’s fault of course). Unfortunately we weren’t able to try the complimentary breakfast.

The staff was very coordinated and the service was quick i enjoyed alot.

The hotel room given to us was not clean at all. There was hair on the bed and the bathroom smelled really pathetic like some local public bathroom.

The property is so nearby to Madgao Railway station which is a favour and you can also get rent a bike from the hotel itself.

The room was so dirty, the floor was sticky because they use cheap or local floor cleaner i think so, the toilet was full of stain.

A lot of mold in the rooms. The room smelled like mold as well. The pictures look way nicer than it actually was. Lots of stains/mold on the couch as well. We asked to change rooms, but all the other rooms were similar. The bathroom was really nice and clean

1) No In house resturant . Although morning breakfast was avaiable the quality of breakfast was not good. Instead we ordered from zomato for our breakfast. 2) For morning coffee also we had to run to near railways station . Atleast provide coffee and tea from the hotel resturant and plan to have some kind of snacks which other hotels do.

Great location, close to railway station, multiple restaurants nearby, spacious room with all the necessary toiletries. Breakfast was alright with fruits, toasts, tea, juice, Indian breakfast varieties and fresh omlette. Quick check in and check out, great staff at the reception, have to mention Ravi, who was just fantastic throughout our stay, warm, respectful and always with a great smile. Would definitely recommend others to try Costal Pearl at Madgaon.

Nothing major but the coffee powder and creamers were spoiled, the coffee turned out to be a crap and gave a stomach upset as I decided to drink it anyway.
