Tuke Hotel Shanghai Hongqiao Center Branch

I chose this hotel because it's affordably near to the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC), which was the main reason for my trip. The hotel is a 10 minutes walk from both Shanghai Zoo and Shanghai Zoo Metro Station. The metro station is convenient, but getting to the city center still takes a bit of time and requires a line transfer. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The biggest surprise was the smart toilet—I definitely wasn't expecting that, and I loved it! There's also a laundry room with washers and dryers for guests to use. I was lucky enough to arrive on the day they replaced all the machines, so I got to use a brand-new set. One thing to note is that there's no iron in the room; you'll need to uron your clothes in the laundry room instead. Breakfast was decent and had enough options to start the day. On the walk to the metro station, there's a small halal eatery along a street lined with fruit stalls, local convenience stores, and other small shops, which was quite convenient. Overall, I had a comfortable stay and would recommend this hotel if you're planning to go to the zoo or attending an event at the NECC.

I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel with my wife & 2 kids, the accommodation was very comfortable, clean, modern & most importantly the staff was super good, helpful & was there for each & small ask we had, i want to specifically mention one person *Peng Zexiong* from hotel reception team, he has been such a nice person, he helped us with everything we need. I really want to thank him for making our stay memorable.

Комната чистая и удобная, персонал приятный, но мало кто говорит по-английски (только два молодых человека на ресепшене). Местоположение, с одной стороны, удобное - до метро минут 10 пешком, до зоопарка столько же, рядом есть круглосуточный магазин и много кафе. С другой стороны, до основных достопримечательностей довольно далеко, минут 40-60 минимум.

Завтраки не на европейский вкус и практически не меняются. Стиральные машины очень плохо стирают. В автоматах с напитками и снеками так и не смогла ничего купить за 8 дней - какие-то проблемы с Alipay и WeChat.

Wir waren zwei Wochen in dem Hotel. Uns hat die Größe des Zimmers gefallen. Leider war unser Zimmer schon älter, der Boden und das Bad sollten mal renoviert werden. Das Frühstück war für uns Europäer leider nicht gut. Es hab leider nur einheimisches. Es wäre schön zum Frühstück mehr Brot, Wurst, Käse zu bekommen. Unsere Handtücher wurden jeden Tag gewechselt. Der Mini Kühlschrank war leider nicht kalt genug. Das Zimmer wurde mal Oberfläche mal gründlich gereinigt was vollkommen in Ordnung war. Die Rezeptionsmitarbeiter waren immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Metrostation Shanghai Zoo war ca. 10 Min. vom Hotel weg, von der wir überall hin gekommen sind. In der Nähe gab es klasse Restaurants, Massagen und Lebensmittelläden.

Staff : The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Although we used a translation app that didn’t always work well, they were always patient and willing to help us with many things, especially a young male staff member. Room : The room was very spacious, clean, quiet. We were very comfortable during our stay. Location : Great location, just a short distance from Shanghai Zoo. Breakfast : Delicious !

Ho scelto questo Albergo fuori dal centro, ma abbastanza vicino alla stazione dei treni. La struttura è comoda e pulita.

I think this hotel was the best during my stay in China during February, March 2025, specially the reception guy, I like him so much, he doesn't speak well English, but he really tries his best. ( the breakfast is not that good)

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The only minor issue was the smell from the drain in the bathroom, but I was able to quickly fix it by using some incense sticks. The staff was friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable.

Convenient location 5 minutes from Zoo metro station and close to local airport and train station (fast trains from Beijing). Comfortable and spacious room. Breakfast included in the price of the room.

All was fine

The accommodation is only a 10 minutes away from two metro station and there were plenty of food options nearby. Rooms were spacious and clean with modern equipment. Accommodation is also very close to the airport and high speed rail that can be reached in 30 minutes.

The heating for the room is centrally powered. Other than that, the experience was great!

Few options for breakfast.

Really nice, contemporary decor. Very clean, although there had obviously been a smoker in our room prior to us. Just need to remember to request non-smoking room. Good breakfast included

It took us a while to find our room as it’s a bit if a labyrinth on levels 6-8.
