The apartment was very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed for one night. The bottle of wine was very well received. The views were spectacular from the apartment over Simons Town.

The weather was not good and there was a dripping sound on the zinc roof most of the time which was irritating. I feel that the couches and chairs were outdated and not comfortable which affected my score.

Nice view and clean apartment suitable for 4. We have a car so the location is easy to find for us. Host was friendly.

The bed in second bed room may be too small for 2 big guys but it was not a problem for us. ;)

Gorgeous view from deck and bedroom! Loooooved going to bed and waking up to the gorgeous sights! Quirky, stunning bohemian decor. Fabulous location! Excellent communication from staff. Very helpful.

Beautifully decorated, very comfy beds and stunning views. Shower was lovely and hot with great water pressure. There are shops and restaurants a short drive away.

A washing machine would have been a bonus as been on the road for a while

We loved everything. It was super clean. The beds, pillows, linnen and towels were of high quality. The space is arty and warm. It was spacious, with a well equipped kitchen. The view is amazing, and the host was also wonderful. I can't get over the thick and fluffy towels.

The seating wasn’t comfortable if you were looking to relax and unwind in the living area - 2 seater rattan couch was small and uncomfortable to stretch out on, and the built in seating was too narrow. Bean bag was the most comfy but insufficient comfy seating for family of 4 It wasn’t clear on the advert that the apartment is a separate entrance attached to a main house.

Everything, the location, the view, the beautiful decor, the comfort and a space filled with peace and happiness.

The view was STUNNING! The decor really classy and beautiful - bohemian style. My daughter accidentally broke a lovely glass, and the owner was very gracious about it and didn't charge. Very happy

Die Unterkunft war unfassbar kalt. Es gab keine richtige Heizung nur ein kleines elektrisches Heizgerät welches nichteinmal eines der Schlafzimmer richtig erwärmt hat. Die Dusche hatte kaum Wasserdruck und durch die niedrige Temperatur im Apartment war man sogar beim duschen am frieren. Allgemein war die Einrichtung auch ziemlich abgewohnt.

Este hermoso apartamento decorado al detalle de forma colorida y étnica está en una zona residencial muy cerca de Simons Town. Los dueños viven en la casa de abajo y tienes entrada independiente. Nos encantó este sitio. Las vistas, los detalles y la amabilidad. Incluso nos ofrecieron una botella de vino blanco y había algunos detalles para el desayuno. Fuimos a bucear y nos permitieron hacer check out más tarde para volver y darnos una ducha. Muy recomendable. Sumamente agradecida.

The place was clean, beautiful and accompanied with all we need such as plates and cutlery. Furthermore, the place had a beautiful view and near to the beach and the place was safe.

Es hivern i amb una sola estufa no era suficient per escalfar l apartament. Però hi havia mantes elèctriques.

Our worst stay in South Africa! The entrance room of the accommodation smelled really bad (probably because of the barbecue grill), a strong odor of built-up grease and mustiness. Inside, the place wasn't very clean, especially the shower with extremely dirty grout. The worst part, which completely ruined our stay: THE COLD and humidity! It was literally freezing inside. We messaged the host at 5 p.m., and she only replied at 11 p.m., saying: in South Africa, electricity is expensive so we don’t have heating... But we had heating in every other place we booked (all in the same price range). It’s unacceptable to leave guests in the cold (it was 15°C/59°F inside) using that kind of excuse. We had a horrible night without sleep, and the next morning we had sore throats... Avoid this place at all costs!

The style and decor was nice. The view was beautiful. The bathroom was beautiful and aesthetic.

The road was very steep to get to the property, understandably not the property’s issue. The gas on the braai ran out unfortunately. We found a KitKat wrapper in one of the bedroom drawers.

Beautiful apartment with lovely interior styling and decor.....the location and Seaviews were exceptionall...the area is breathtaking with the most beautiful beaches and scenery all around Simonstown ...we absolutely loved the area ...and all that it had to offer ..having full sea views from the comfort of your bed was an utter luxury ...that we savored at every moment of our stay ..the quite street and private entrance was very convenient and peaceful...thank you for a beautiful stay that we totally enjoyed.

It would be nice if the living area has a more comfortable larger sized couch instead of the small wicker furniture ..which is nice but not comfortable for relaxing on...otherwise it is an aesthetically pleasing space to be in ....and take in the stunning sea views all around..

Easy access via lockbox. Detailed communication from host Apartment was very well equipped and appreciate the milk, rusks and condiments.

Great location with stunning views over Simon's Town harbour and the ocean. Quiet yet a stone's throw away from attractions in the area. The interior is beautifully designed. The art pieces by Rhodé and her father and the inclusion of family heirlooms in the apartment's design made this stay truly unique. Enjoyed a weeks stay at The Cape Aquanaut. Very clean and cosy and fully kitted out with everything you could need. Loved the beautiful artwork and colorful decor. Rhodé went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and even suggested restaurants and activities around the area. The view of Simonstad Harbor from the stoep is stunning, could have sat there all day. (And we were fortunate to see whales every day!) Location is very good - quiet neighborhood with Harbor Bay mall close by for groceries/shopping. Would definitely recommend and return. Thank you Rhodé and Marko!

Perfect location. Aparpartment has all the neccearsy ammenties. stunning views of Simons Town harbour and the mountains. Really a great place to stay if you just want to relax and enjoy the cultural areas of Glencarin, Fish Hoek, Kalkabay and Simons Town.
