This hotel was great, I only wish I had stayed longer! The facilities were so pretty and the room I had with the private plunge pool was a dream. The staff were so attentive and helpful with everything - even packed me breakfast to go for my 2 hour drive to the airport! Perfect for a solo travel or couple.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour, l'hôtel et la chambre sont vraiment splendides, très propres ! La chambre est très confort et spacieuse il y a tout, la salle de bain est somptueuse ! Nous avons été super bien accueillis, le personnel est d'une gentillesse incroyable merci beaucoup.

We loved the attention to detail from the staff, they were so welcoming and called us by name which felt very personable. With only 6 rooms it feels very nice and private and the pool was delightful. Things are in walking distance yet enough distance from the hustle and bustle of Canggu. We rode a scooter and everything was close. Rooms were beautiful, and we had the small private plunge pool. The private chef and staff went above and beyond to meet our needs, we had to check out early so they ensured we had a meal for takeaway, and gave us a a coconut welcome drink on arrival and a small gift to take away which was a nice touch. Security was also very friendly. Would stay again and recommend to others.

The rug on the wooden floor in bedroom was a bit slippery and a slight smell from the bathroom, but otherwise was great!

It was incredible from start to finish. Quiet ,amazing bed and pillows,The chefs in the morning were a joy. Kid free.immaculate.attention to detail. Beautifully designed ,my own private mini pool outside my room,caring attentive staff ( I was ill on one night and they were next level! To be honest I don’t think the photos do It justice. You have a feeling of wow when you go inside! Can’t fault this place. 11 out of 11 incredible!

There is nothing at all. You can see why it’s rated so highly.

It only has 5 rooms so you don’t get a sense of overcrowding; you feel as if you have the whole hotel to yourself. Breakfast is cooked to order by, what felt like private chefs. We had the king room which was extremely spacious and had a massive balcony. The communal area was great and you had access to teas, coffees and water at whatever time. This is a true boutique hotel with a fantastic pool area which is very calming and tranquil - it felt like a health/wellness lodge. The staff dealt with any issues we had quickly and effectively and used a WhatsApp group to communicate clearly. The location is fantastic, next to lots of cool coffee shops and restaurants. It’s also very close to a recovery spa called Ark which I highly recommend. As we stayed there over the weekend, we were able to visit La Brissa Sunday market which is a 10/10 experience.

The location is next to La Brissa which means there is loud music going on till late, as it’s a club, but that didn’t bother us and wasn’t really an issue, just something to think of.

Lovely staff. Large room. High ceilings. Spotless clean. Nice pool and ambience. A street back from the main street in pererenan so it was quiet at night. Easy walk to busier street of pererenan and to Canggu area. They made effort coordinating a birthday surprise request for me from my friend back home

The door lock bothered me and I heard others struggling with it. I wasn’t a fan of the rug in the room, not sure if it’s Balinese or what but a different rug would improve the room I feel.

Location is Great. No noise around and the privacy in villa is the top . Staff is what you will never forget: Ade and Julia are super nice , and the chef Luh is the best!

La camera non solo era pulitissima, ma tutti e sottolineo tutti gli asciugamani, accappatoi, lenzuola, cuscini avevano un odore eccezionale (noi abbiamo usufruito del servizio lavanderia che peraltro ci è stato gentilmente offerto dallo staff e tutti i nostri indumenti profumavano in quel modo). La colazione è buonissima (e lo diciamo da italiani), hanno tante proposte, alcune delle quali cambiano ogni giorno, va bene per chiunque voglia mangiare salato, dolce, salutare, ecc. La struttura è curata in ogni minimo dettaglio, il design è pazzesco, ogni comfort è presente (spazzolino, dentifricio, portaspazzolino, phon, cassaforte, snack di tutti i tipi e bibite, tanti asciugamani, luci sia nel bagno che nello specchio del bagno, nella doccia, in piscina). Lo staff è super accogliente, addirittura quando tornavamo la sera ci aprivano sempre la porta ed erano sempre presenti (sia di notte che di giorno) per qualsiasi evenienza. Inoltre c’è uno spazio comune in cui poter riempire la bottiglia di acqua (nonostante ogni giorno riempino le bottiglie della camera), un frigorifero a disposizione per poter mettere il cibo e alcune bevande (succo, latte) offerte dalla struttura.

Отель невероятный!!! Номер безумно красивый. Все чисто, аккуратно, со вкусом (наделала фотографий, теперь хочу такую же ванную комнату дома). Завтрак был на выбор. С утра все готовят из под ножа специально для вас. Вкусно! После выселения разрешили провести весь день в отеле. Из наших трех мест на Бали это самое лучшее!!! We chose this hotel for our honeymoon, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, kind, and attentive. Everyone made us feel so welcome, and the manager was especially amazing and caring. Our room was spacious, beautifully maintained, and very clean. I stayed in the King Room, which was absolutely lovely. We had a large private balcony overlooking the pool, and the room itself was bright, comfortable, and very well organized. Everything was exactly as we hoped for, and the cleanliness really stood out. The breakfast was also delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. The whole experience felt comfortable, peaceful, and special, which was exactly what we wanted for our honeymoon. As a lovely surprise, one of the staff members even prepared a small gift for me to take with me, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made our stay even more memorable. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay! 🤍

Everything about Plawa Laguna was a delight. The modest entrance was not an indication of what was behind the doors. It was the most delightful place we stayed in our Bali trip. The shared kitchen and the pool area were well beyond our expectations. The kitchen area has tea, coffee, fruit and water and was a lovely area to sit. I thought this facility was so good. It was secure, quiet and the staff amazing. The rooms were massive and a beautiful balcony over looking the private pool and courtyard. I loved that it was only 5 rooms in total with 24 hour security. Our breakfast was cooked in the kitchen every morning by the loveliest staff and I got my first decent cup of tea.

It was a longish walk to a decent restaurant but that also meant it was very quiet. So it was actually a benefit. Short walk to the beach.

К сожалению получилось так, что во время пребывания в Чангу моя жена заболела, персонал был очень внимательным, справлялся о ее здоровье. Покинули мы отель с очень положительными эмоциями.

We stayed 3 nights in the King Suite and 7 nights in the King Suite with Private Pool, and both were wonderful. I personally preferred the King Suite because it felt larger, more open, and had a great floor plan. The Private Pool Suite was also beautiful, although we didn’t end up using the pool, and the shower is outdoors, which may or may not be everyone’s preference. The hotel is incredibly peaceful and quiet with no children, making it the perfect place to relax. It’s also in a fantastic location most restaurants, cafés, and shops are just a 5–15 minute walk away, and Echo Beach is right down the street. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the amazing staff. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. They made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, and the service was outstanding every morning. The hotel also arranged our airport pickup and a driver to take us to our next hotel, making everything seamless and stress-free. A special thank you to Julia and Mole for going above and beyond to make our stay so memorable. Your kindness and hospitality meant so much to us. Thank you to the entire team for such exceptional hospitality. We truly felt at home and would absolutely love to return. We highly recommend this boutique hotel!

You won’t regret staying here- we had an amazing stay! Rooms were beautiful, staff were so polite and very friendly and all within walking distance to the beach and a beautiful sunset. We were welcomed so well by Ade and had good breakfasts and chats with chef Mul. This was our first boutique hotel experience and we loved it and will definitely stay somewhere similar in the future. We loved the home like feel this hotel had- smaller, finished to a very high standard and much more personable. If in canngu again we will definitely be staying here.

Nous avons passé une merveilleux séjour dans cet hôtel, l’un des meilleurs sur Bali. Nous avions pris la chambre avec une piscine privée, elle était splendide et d’une propreté irréprochable ! Le personnel de l’hôtel est vraiment super, accueillant, dès notre arrivée nous nous sommes sentis à la maison, encore merci à l’ensemble de l’équipe et spécial dédicace à Mul qui nous a préparé de super petit déjeuner tous les matins ! Autre point, l’hôtel est super bien situation 5 min de la plage et moins de 5 min à pied des restaurants.

It's by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff is incredible (Julia, Mul, Nova, all the staff), friendly, welcoming and always smiling. The hotel is a true haven of peace, and you feel comfortable there very quickly.

Le séjour a été exceptionnel du début à la fin. Le personnel était incroyablement gentil, attentionné et toujours prêt à aider avec le sourire. Les chambres étaient parfaites, très propres et confortables. L’atmosphère de l’hôtel était magnifique et relaxante. C’est sincèrement l’une des meilleures expériences que j’ai vécues de toute ma vie à Bali.

Honnêtement, rien de négatif à signaler. Tout était parfaitement organisé et le niveau de service était remarquable.

Tout le personnel est vraiment aux petits soins, le petit déjeuner est délicieux et la localisation est parfaite : très proche de la plage et du centre de Canggu tout en était vraiment au calme !

The food (breakfast) was not up to the expectations, eg: The bread under the avocado wasn't toasted, so it was soggy. The poached egg wasn't cooked with vinegar water, so it fell apart. The espresso was a small filter cafe.. The cappuccino was basically brown milk The croissant didn't taste fresh

L’hôtel est tout simplement magnifique, réalisé avec beaucoup de goût et des matériaux de qualité, rien n’a manqué à nos yeux sur le confort et les équipements. Nous avons adoré la qualité de l’accueil de tous les membres du personnel jour et nuit et toutes leurs attentions qui rendent le séjour luxueux, le petit nombre de chambres donc un réel calme, la cuisine en accès permanent notamment pour les boissons, la luminosité de l’endroit et de notre chambre, la douche extérieure, l’emplacement super pratique… Et le petit-déjeuner!!! Le meilleur de nos 3 semaines à Bali, de grande qualité. Nous avions choisi l’établissement guidés par les commentaires et la réalité a même été au-delà de nos attentes ! Nous nous sommes sentis privilégiés.

De gastvrijheid is echt super, zulke lieve en behulpzame mensen die oprecht zijn, je een heerlijke dag wensen en je willen helpen indien nodig! Alles was schoon en ze waren heel de dag bezig om het netjes te houden. Het ontbijt in de ochtend speciaal voor je klaargemaakt met liefde! De locatie was voor mij ook super het was iedere avond weer thuis komen na een dag op pad geweest te zijn echt heerlijk.

Great room, shared space and service! Highly recommended! On a more quiet street, but with relatively short walk from the beach and services.

I think the issue is Canggu as a whole. The street infra and layout is not great as there is very few routes going west/east, which creates bad traffic and makes exploring by foot more difficult.

Wat een mooi hotel, tot in de puntjes perfect. Je komt binnen en je voelt je net in paradijs. De kamers waren super mooi en alle details zijn perfect. De grootste indruk komt wel van de aandacht van de lieve mensen die hier werken. Niets is hun teveel. Heerlijk ontbijt. Vanuit het hotel sta je in 5 minuutjes aan het strand. Heel dankbaar dat we hier hebben kunnen verblijven.

Alles! Das Personal war so unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend, haben sich immer bemüht alles für einen zum Besten zu machen. Es war total sauber, alles bestens! Wir sind begeistert und können das Hotel nur wärmstens weiter empfehlen.

Ich weiß gar nicht wo ich anfangen sollen. Ich bin von einer katastrophalen Unterkunft früher abgereist und dann dort gelandet. Bei meiner Ankunft haben sie mir angesehen dass ich total erschöpft war und mir gleich eine kalte Kokosnuss zum runterkommen serviert. Danach hat mir die Dame die Unterkunft und mein Zimmer gezeigt. Sie war jederzeit über WhatsApp erreichbar und hat mich aber nicht mit WhatsApp Nachrichten bombardiert sowie das in vielen anderen Unterkünften in Bali der Fall war. Das Zimmer war traumhaft, das Frühstück sensationell und auch die KöchInnen waren so unfassbar nett und zuvorkommend. Ich wünschte ich hätte noch mehr Tage dort verbringen können. Es ist ruhig und etwas abgelegen, aber man ist innerhalb von 5 Minuten zu Fuß beim Strand oder bei Restaurants. 10/10 Urlaubserlebnis - ich empfehle es jedem, den ich kenne

We visited Bali for our honeymoon and stayed in four different places — but Plawa Laguna Bali was our absolute favorite! ❤️ It’s a small, peaceful boutique hotel, perfectly located in a quiet area, very close to the ocean and still just a short drive from the center of Canggu. Everything was spotlessly clean, stylish, private, and beautifully maintained. Even the smell of the bed linen was incredible — we loved it so much that we asked what detergent they use, and Ade kindly helped us get a bit to take home. Thank you very much!🙏 🌸 The staff were amazing — so friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. They even surprised us with a beautiful honeymoon welcome setup when we arrived, which was a heartwarming gesture. The food was delicious and fresh, cooked by the chef right in the open kitchen. Would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, quiet, and romantic place to stay in Bali.

We only regret booking for just three nights — we truly didn’t want to leave.

The hotel is new, stylish interior, excellent service, friendly staff. Not crowded, private.
