The property is absolutely beautiful. The host has thought of every small detail. On arrival you are greeted with a beautiful entrance and approach. There are three terraces, 2 with pools. I spent most of my time on the top terrace which was always very very quiet. The breakfast is fantastic and the lady who attends this called Lizette is absolutely wonderful. I have stayed here 3 times this year and I will keep coming back

Camera pulitissima e arredata con gusto, in dotazione prodotti per igiene personale (tra cui shampoo e balsamo), asciugamani e teli mare. Condizionatore, TV con piattaforme di streaming. Colazione molto varia a buffet con molti dolci e salati. Disponibile una cucina sempre aperta con acqua e snack. Due piscine piccole fantastiche. Posizione ottima, vicina al porto per i trasferimenti alle isole di ria Formosa. Personale gentile

Tijdens ons verblijf was er een hele week een festival, dat startte om 23 uur.

From the moment we arrived, we felt so cared for with a lovely welcoming note. The room is beautifully arranged with calming tones and a very comfortable bed with crisp bed linens. The robes left in the bathroom were so cozy and the shower was amazing with really great smelling soap. It was a dream after driving all day. It was also surprisingly quiet even being right above the main street! The two rooftop pools are a delight, one warmer on the first level and a cooler, smaller pool on the top level. There are umbrellas for shade and loungers that made for easy reading by the pool after a long day. There is a kitchen area for breakfast with delectable snacks that they allow for grazing throughout the day. They really have thought of every detail. I can't say enough about this place. It was my favorite stay in Portugal. We loved the town of Olhao and it was so cool being across the street from the fish market, which we visited each morning we were there. The staff was the most gracious woman and was so very kind to me, even through my struggles with the language barrier, she is so sweet. She made the best scrambled eggs, too! If you are thinking of going to this area, book your stay here; you will not regret it!

La piscine et son environnement

Un alojamiento excelente, cuidado hasta el último detalle. La habitación era muy cómoda, con aire acondicionado y una cama extremadamente confortable. Además, siempre había pequeños detalles que hacían que la estancia fuera todavía más especial. La piscina nos encantó, perfecta para refrescarse y relajarse después de un día de playa. El desayuno también fue uno de los puntos fuertes: muy variado y con productos de muy buena calidad. La ubicación es perfecta, en pleno centro de Olhão y justo delante del precioso mercado.

No encontramos ningún aspecto negativo durante nuestra estancia. Sin duda, un alojamiento al que volveríamos.

We hebben echt genoten, bij aankomst konden we al veel eerder dan inchecktijd naar binnen. De kamers zijn ruim en voorzien van alles om het comfortabel te maken. Een groot pluspunt is de qrcode die je kan scannen waarop je niet alleen informatie over de kamer kan vinden maar ook van andere handige dingen in Olhaõ. (Voor mensen met glutenallergie is er genoeg keuze bij het ontbijt!)

Die Zimmer sind wunderschön eingerichtet, ich persönlich fand die Kissen und das Bett super bequem. Es gab Bademäntel, grosse und ausreichend Handtücher, sogar welche für den Strand, die auf Wunsch auch täglich gewechselt werden. Ein Dampfbügelgerät, und auch im Bad war alles da, nicht nur kleine "Probepäckchen", es gab alles von Conditioner, Bodylotion, Shampo, Duschgel usw... Das Frühstück wurde jeden morgen frisch gemacht, mit viel Liebe und lokalen Produkten und mit frisch gepresstem Orangensaft! Parken kann man überall in der Nähe (z.b. am Hafen, ist recht günstig oder außerhalb der Saison sogar kostenlos, allerding ein paar Minuten zu Fuss.) An der Strasse sind sonst auch ausreichend Parkplätze. Fährterminal ist zu Fuss ein paar Minuten weg. Die Markthallen, die Altstadt, etliche Restaurants, und Lädchen, alles quasi direkt neben der Haustür! Die Kommunikation mit der Eigentümerin ist auch super, falls man etwas braucht. Auch der Self Check-in war super easy. Das Haus ist wirklich sehr schön eingerichtet vom Geschirr in der Küche bis zu den Schirmchen auf der Terasse! Da wir sehr früh aufbrechen mussten, quasi mitten in der Nacht, wurde uns angeboten, falls wir etwas zum mitnehmen möchten, wird uns etwas vorbereitet und aufs Zimmer gebracht.

Th entrance is a narrow set of stairs, but there is a 1-person lift installed for people with reduced mobility.

Alojamiento con decoración exquisita, ubicación muy buena y desayuno delicioso. Servicios auxiliares como piscina y comedor de desayunos muy prácticos. Servicio muy amable.

Das kleine Hotel hat eine hervorragende Lage in Olhao, Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Ausstattung ist sehr modern. Die beiden Pools sind super schön. Man hat sich sehr wohlgefühlt. Aufgrund der Größe vom Hotel hätte man einen ruhigen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Die Markthalle vor dem Hotel ist das Highlight, ich habe den Ausblick geliebt & er fehlt mir ein wenig. Danke für diese schöne Zeit & auch vielen Dank für das Willkommens Geschenk.

It's a really nice property in a great location right in the centre of the town overlooking the harbour.

Fantastisch war das Frühstück (frisch gepresster Orangensaft, guter Kaffee, Rührei und eine liebevolle Auswahl an Obst, Wurst, Käse…)! Die Gastgeberin war sehr herzlich! Die Lage war super, die Fähre zum Strand nach Armona war nur einen Katzensprung entfernt!

Suite 3 was by far the best room we have stayed in during many visits to Olhao. Lots of nice touches from the slippers to the Marshall portable speaker.

Minor point but some other boutique hotels in Olhao cooked eggs to order, maybe something for management to consider.

Casa dos mercados es un alojamiento único, tanto su decoración como su ubicación son perfectas. Un alojamiento pequeño con capacidad para 6 parejas, 2 piscinas y zonas comunes, nos ha encantado. Nos levantábamos cada mañana bien descansados, subíamos a desayunar ese maravilloso buffet que nos tenía preparado Lisette, con una gran variedad de productos. Todo muy cuidado y bien colocado. Lisette estaba siempre muy atenta a todo intentando que todo estuviera a nuestro gusto. Y si faltaba algo lo reponía rápidamente. Cuidaba cada detalle del alojamiento, plantas, piscinas, limpieza... Nos sentábamos a desayunar con unas maravillosas vistas a la ría de Formosa y el mercado de Olhão, simplemente maravilloso a la par que disfrutabas de todo lo que había preparado Lisette. La habitación era muy cómoda y de tamaño muy bueno, las piscinas aunque pequeñas no necesitabas nada más. Tenías buenas vistas y estabas súper tranquilo, te sentías como en casa. No queríamos irnos de allí, sin duda repetiremos.

Dans la suite supérieure il n'y avait qu'une chaise, j'aurais aimé deux chaises et une petite table pour que deux personnes puissent s'assoir en même temps . Et nous avions une seule fenêtre qui donnait sur une autre en vis à vis mais c'est tout .

Absence totale de rangement, système de verrouillage de la porte de la chambre. Accès piscine très compliqué, car dangeureux (pas de marche ni d’échelle pour rentrer et sortir)

Die Lage ist hervorragend, alles fußläufig gut zu erreichen: Restaurants, Fähre, einkaufen, Altstadt, Hafen, Markthalle - perfekt. Check-in online, Zugang mit einem Code. Dachterrasse(n) mit Pool, Blick auf die Markthalle und den Hafen. Zimmerausstattung mit TV, Klimaanlage, Kaffeemaschine und und und...

Die Einrichtung ist, trotz der sehr guten Ausstattung, sehr zweckmäßig. Das Ganze wirkt sehr kühl und steril: z. B. der blanke Estrichboden. Wir waren nur 2 Nächte da, dafür okay. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt würde uns die Gemütlichkeit fehlen.

Phänomenales Frühstück, von wirklich außergewöhnlichem Umfang und Qualität! Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Interessante Architektur im lokalen Stil eines maurischen Terrassenhauses, minimalistisch-stylische Ausstattung.

Very comfortable room in a lovely Casa run by very attentive staff. The daily breakfast spread is fabulous. Great location to sit on the terrace or rooftop for evening drinks and watch the evenings unfold.

— complete lack of room cleaning; the only thing the staff does is make the bed and, occasionally and at their discretion, take out the trash. They never changed the towels, never washed or even swept the floor, didn’t do the dishes, let alone dust the room; — dirty swimming pools full of dead bugs; — meager breakfast (cold scrambled eggs, cold cuts, cheese, and berries and fruit — everything is put out for several days in a row if it wasn’t eaten the day before); be sure to wash the berries and dishes before use; — the view from Suite 2 is directly onto the wall of the neighboring building

Casa dos Mercados oli kokemuksena upea. Majoituspaikan sijainti oli aivan rannan lähellä ja keskeisellä paikalla lähellä kaikki palveluita. Huone oli todella siisti täynnä upeita yksityiskohtia. Uniikki boutique-fiilis huokui kaikkialta. Terassit olivat kolmessa tasossa hienolla näkymällä. Majoituspaikassa meille aamiaisen loihti ihana nainen. Aamiainen oli todella hyvä ja monipuolinen. Tunsimme olomme koko ajan turvalliseksi, sillä alaovi kadulle oli lukossa, ja huoneen ovi meni myös lukkoon itsestään tietyn ajan kuluttua, jos ei olisi itse sitä muistanut lukita. Saimme myös majoituspaikalta viestillä tiedon, että kauppahallin eteen ei voi tiettynä aikana pysäköidä, jotta ei tule ongelmia, ja se oli mahtavaa palvelua. Suosittelemme tätä paikkaa lämpimästi. Se oli yksi Algarven matkamme kohokohtia.

Casa dos Mercados was a beautiful apartment, extremely clean and very tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The sharing areas were perfect, a kitchen available at all times. The hosts paid extreme care to every little detail, even providing meringues on arrival and cakes during our stay! Communication was superb. Perfect location right on the sea front. We will definitely recommend to all our family and friends

The location is fabulous, and so was the pool and rooftop terrace. The detail and decor are lovely. Food selection at breakfast was great, too.

Understanding it is minimalist, a couple of things were not practical, no storage space for clothes, and no mirror near plug point to dry your hair.

I liked absolutely everything about Casa dos Mercados. They have got everything right. The interior, the location, the service, the little touches. breakfast, the laid back atmosphere. I will definitely be returning

What a fabulous few days we had In Olhao. Our stay at Casa dos Mercados was perfect. Right in the centre on town. We loved the beautiful boutique hotel style, very stylish decor. Big fluffy towels & robes. Always exceptionally clean, we looked forward to our delicious breakfast each morning. Enjoyed the open kitchen idea. A big thank you to you & your great team. A massive thank you for the late checkout.

There was a very very loud festival on the waterfront opposite which made relaxing on the terrace in the evenings impossible.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa dos Mercados. The room was exceptionally elegant, with beautifully tasteful interior design that created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was perfect—fresh, varied, and delicious. And the location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of Olhão, making it easy to explore everything the town has to offer.
