Reviewed Aug 8, 2026Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit hier. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam: z.B wurde Wasser und Handtücher konstant aufgefüllt ohne nachfragen zu müssen. Auch auf individuelle Wünsche wurde eingegangen. Auf Nachfrage war auch ein veganes Frühstück möglich. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und es gab jeden Tag einen Roomservice. Ausflüge und der Transfer (vom Flughafen und zur nächsten Insel) wurden vom Hotel organisiert, wir hatten keinerlei Aufwand. Snorkeling Equipment gab es umsonst. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026La struttura è pulita e comoda. La posizione è ottima per le escursioni perché vicina al punto di incontro. Nashid e il suo staff sono stati accoglienti e gentili. Hanno accolto tutte le nostre richieste. Tutte le spiagge raggiungibili a piedi con una passeggiata piacevolissima tra le vie del villaggio

Reviewed Jul 23, 2026Le personnel est très serviable (mais pas le propriétaire). Bon rapport qualité prix dans l'ensemble, la chambre est en accord avec le tarif pratiqué.
ATTENTION ARNAQUE: gros problème sur le paiement, le propriétaire nous informe que le logement peut être payé en carte bancaire (4% de frais) ou en cash en euro ou dollars, ce que nous comprenons et acceptons. Cependant, le paiement du transport et des excursions devrait être libre et accepté en monnaie locale, sauf que le propriétaire REFUSE la monnaie locale pour payer cette partie car pas mentionné en avance. Nous cherchons donc à réaliser les activités sans passer par lui, à chaque fois qu'une fois le contact établi les organismes d'excursions, on nous demande le nom de notre hôtel et une fois la mention de cet hôtel, les gens nous informent finalement que tout est complet. Nous avons donc essayé en mentionnant un autre hôtel et soudainement toutes les excursions sont disponibles. Nous pensons donc que le propriétaire force les clients à réaliser les excursions de l'île à passer par lui pour qu'il prenne une généreuse commission. Sans autre solution, nous sommes forcés de réserver via le propriétaire et une fois sur place (dans le transport et les deux expériences réalisées) nous demandons s'ils acceptent la monnaie locale pour le paiement malgré le fait que la somme transitent via l'hôtel. Ils nous répondent qu'évidemment, et qu'à l'exception du paiement des nuits tout le monde prend le rufiyaa. Nous le faisons savoir au propriétaire qui nous accuse d'être... Des menteurs. Seulement, nous avons DIRECTEMENT échangé avec les différentes personnes sur les bateaux et ils nous l'ont bien confirmé. Ce type de pratique correspond à un système d'arnaques et de mensonges qui mérite un signalement auprès de la plateforme Booking, le choix de l'hôtel ne doit pas restreindre notre capacité à effectuer des activités extérieures et les payer librement à celui-ci et nous faire passer pour des menteurs. Enfin, accepter la monnaie locale devrait être la base dans un pays développé tel que les Maldives.

Reviewed Jul 22, 2026Ik vond het ontbijt super goed geregeld, het was elke keer optijd! Daarnaast was het super lief dat ze me ophaaldr en brachten naar de haven met de baggage. Door super lief personeel. De kamer was ook erg relaxed en werd elke ochtend schoongemaakt. Nieuwe handoeken, flessen water, precies alles wat je nodig hebt.

Reviewed Mar 4, 2026Our stay at The Wave was awesome! First quick contact via booking to organize the transport from the airport to dhigurah, then a quick pick up at the harbor and drive to the room. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The Maldivian breakfast was our favorite!! You can choose the time for your breakfast and they will bring it to you on time! The contact via WhatsApp was remarkable, very quick respond and always there for answers and help.
It’s a bit of a footwalk away from the bikini beach so we would recommend to rent a bike or scooter.

I have a gluten allergy and they sourced gluten free bread for me from Malé for breakfast, which was just above and beyond. They responded quickly and the room was always kept clean. I will 100% be back.

Reviewed Jan 22, 2026Täydellinen pieni majoitus ainakin 4-yölle. Aamiainen tarjoiltiin suoraan omalle terassille siihen aikaan kun itse toivoi. Pää Kauppakatu lähellä. Hotelli järjesti myös snorklaus retkiä sekä vuokrasi polkupyöriä. Ei mitään pahaa sanottavaa!

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026El alojamiento es sencillo pero fantástico, tiene una terraza privada con una mesa fuera donde te sirven el desayuno. Los desayunos son deliciosos y abundantes y puedes escoger opción local o continental. El staff que lo gestiona son super agradables y serviciales y se desviven para que tu estancia sea perfecta. Por nuestra parte contratamos las salidas de snorkel para ver el tiburón ballena y las mantas y como en el primer intento no los vimos hicieron todos los esfuerzos y pusieron todos los recursos para la segunda y finalmente tuvimos la suerte de verlos. ¡Las gestiones las lleva Nashid y el contacto con el es via whatsapp y su hermano es quien gestiona el alojamiento, ambos son majísimos! ¡Sin duda repetiríamos!

Nashid, his brother, and the entire staff are fantastic — the best hosts ever. We made many requests and he always replied promptly and organized everything for us. Thank you so much!!! Reviewed Jan 8, 2026Das kleine Gästehaus ist ganz bezaubernd. Man hat sogar seine eigene kleine Terrasse. Die beiden Brüder sind super hilfsbereit, auch als es mit der Bezahlung nicht klappte, was meine Schuld war, hat Nashid alles dafür getan, dass wir es hinbekommen. Er war sehr zuvorkommend und ich würde dieses Gästehaus jedes Mal wieder wählen. Vielen Dank!
Die Lage ist okay, aber es ist ein bisschen weiter weg vom Bikini Beach aber trotzdem noch voll in Ordnung.

I forgot , the Maldivian breakfast is so delicious please do not fall on the mistake of ordering the continental!

Reviewed Nov 14, 2025Es war alles einfach super. Tolles Zimmer mit einer eigenen kleinen Terrasse auf der das Frühstück serviert wird. Super nettes und sehr hilfsbereites Personal. Ich war rundum sehr zufrieden und würde immer wieder kommen.
Eigentlich nichts. Vielleicht das es für Soloreisende ein wenig einsam ist da das Frühstück auf der eigenen Terrasse stattfindet. Für Pärchen natürlich super. Aber sonst alles perfekt.

Reviewed Nov 2, 2025Die Gastgeber (Nashid und sein Staff) sind super nett und jederzeit erreichbar. Sie kümmern sich um alles und sind extrem hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Frühstück ist gut. Die Unterkunft ist mitten in der Stadt, wodurch alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar ist. Fahrräder, Schnorchel und Flossen kann direkt bei der Unterkunft ausgeliehen werden.

空调制冷效果不太行，可能需要进行清洁或维修

Reviewed Aug 15, 2025Beautiful bedroom with all amenities needed. The patio outside was such a gorgeous add-on, having breakfast there was quiet and refreshing despite the heat. Overall a super pleasant experience!
A bit far from where the action of the island is, but still perfectly located as it’s close to the port. We were greeted by a nice man, but then attended by the boss’ brother, who couldn’t really speak english so it was hard to communicate. Also since everything had to go through Nashid, the boss, and he was never there, inquiries were a bit more slow and uncertain than they would have been had he been there himself. Despite these couple of things, the staff were really helpful and kind, and the experience was perfect.

We arranged a whale shark tour through them at $80 USD (though note that these tours can get quite crowded, with some tourists unfortunately pushing eachother to see the shark better). The staff were helpful, and offered free pick up from the ferry terminal. Breakfast was delicious
