Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Not much. Stuff was very helpful in arranging transport from and to the airport.
Our stay was disappointing overall. Upon arrival, we were asked to sign a document stating that the property was not responsible for any lost belongings, which felt unusual and made us somewhat uncomfortable from the start. The location also felt quite sketchy, especially at night. The surrounding streets were very dark, and there were often suspicious-looking people roaming around, which made walking to and from the accommodation uncomfortable. One night, a random person even followed us from a nearby store all the way to the apartment. Although the apartment had air conditioning, the staff switched it off whenever we left. On our first night, we arrived at around 8 p.m. to a very hot apartment that seemed not to have been cooled for days. We turned on the AC and went out for a quick dinner, hoping the room would cool down while we were gone, but it was switched off almost immediately after we left. Breakfast was also very limited. It included only two eggs per person, and when we asked for one additional egg, we were told we would have to pay extra for it. Finally, the pools looked quite dirty, so we decided not to use them.

La cuisine était peu fonctionnelle et très sale. Il nous a aussi été très compliqué d’échanger avec le gérant de l’hostel tant il parlait doucement, cela ne nous a pas aidé pour l’organisation des excursions depuis santa marta. Quant à la localisation de l’hostel, nous avons trouvé les environs très peu sécuritaire surtout depuis l’arrêt de bus mais nous avons eu l’impression que c’était quand même plutôt safe comparé au reste de Santa Marta. Finalement nous vous déconseillons tout simplement de venir à Santa marta.

Some stains on bed, shower flooded, bugs in room, bar was gross, water tasted bad, didn’t have ping pong balls, pool was not good, overall just subpar compared to the photos and in a sketchy spot

Der Pool war eine tolle Möglichkeit an heißen Tagen die Zeit dort zu verbringen . Es gibt auch eine Küche, wo man für sich selbst kochen kann.

Gabriel sempre recomendava lugares pra conhecer, tours, restaurantes e tudo mais que precisávamos. O café da manhã incrível, bem completo! O bar e a piscina excelentes e ainda tem um espaço de coworking onde consegui fazer umas reuniões tranquilamente.

- Luggage storage not free - AC turned off until late in the evening (I think it was 10pm), so when I wanted to go to sleep early I had to wait in unbearable heat until then instead

Even with the central location, it was peaceful in the hostel and quiet all night. The pool area is pretty and they have a friendly cat. The breakfast was good, too. The room was clean and had AC.
This is minor but it would have been nice to have more lighting in the room.

El lugar es precioso, y cómodo, la habitación es grande, tiene aire acondicionado y baño privado, luego la casa cuenta con dos piscinas que son muy refrescantes!!! Y el desayuno muy rico y balanceado (buenas porciones de frutas y las arepas deliciosas). La ubicación es lo mejor, a media calle del malecón y a un paso de todo!!!

The location was fine, but I wouldn’t say it looks super safe area. Doors to the “dorm” rooms are without keys, so anyone can walk in. AC works only between 10pm and 8am.

Reviewed Mar 6, 2026Pobyt w tym hostelu był naprawdę bardzo udany. Szczególnie miło wspominam pyszne śniadania serwowane na tarasie – to był idealny sposób na rozpoczęcie dnia. Personel był bardzo pomocny i chętnie podpowiadał, gdzie warto pojechać oraz jak najlepiej się tam dostać, dzięki czemu mogliśmy zobaczyć wiele ciekawych miejsc. Atutem jest świetna lokalizacja – okolica jest super, wszędzie jest blisko i łatwo się poruszać. Zdecydowanie polecam to miejsce każdemu, kto szuka miłej atmosfery i dobrej bazy wypadowej do zwiedzania.

Reviewed Mar 4, 2026Sfeervol hostel met een leuk dakterras om s'avonds nog wat te drinken bij de bar. Je kunt er ook zelf koken als je dat zou willen. Wij hebben daar onze was kunnen laten doen, dat geef je af bij de receptie en dan regelen ze het voor je. Aardig en behulpzaam personeel! Vanuit het hostel liep je heel makkelijk in een aantal minuten naar zee.
De douche was koud, maar ja, dat is op veel plekken in Colombia het geval. Verder waren er geen minpunten.

I tassisti ci hanno piu volte consigliato di cambiare alloggio e zona, in quanto anche loro non osavano entrare nella via di notte. Anche lo staff poco attento e a volte davano risposte sbrigative.

La verdad se va uno triste, la mayoría de las fotos no coinciden con el lugar, la atención no fue lo mejor, cuando llegue me atendieron y en eso hubo problema entre otros usuarios por unas maletas "robadas" en la habitación donde yo me quedaba, el ventilador en mal estado, casilleros en mal estado, baño sucio... La verdad poco y nada me gustó del sitio

Leider war es schwierig Getränke zum Frühstück zu erhalten (3 Mal haben wir Kaffee bestellt und 1 Mal haben wir es erhalten) ausser Saft, der Kostenpflichtig war. Uns hat auch der Wasserspender gefehlt, wo man die Wasserflasche auffüllen konnte

My room was clean, spacious, comfortable with a large bed and nice bathroom. I had a lovely quiet night and the inclusive breakfast was good. It’s great value for money and the staff are friendly and helpful. I could store my bags for a while. Good WiFi.
The location for breakfast (roof) could benefit from some shelter. It’s very hot & exposed in the morning. No drinking water.

El dormitorio es muy caliente, le da el sol todo el día, no hay ventilador común y la ventana no tiene más de 20x50cm. Las conexiones de los mini ventiladores y luz de cada cama son muy inseguras - pegues con cinta eléctrica y un reguero de cables (PROMOVIENDO UN INCENDIO) El cuarto se vuelve un infierno y el aire acondicionado lo prenden hasta las 10pm !!!!!!! TERRIBLEMENTE TACAÑOS / creen que quien se hospeda en el DORM son bolsas de basura. El desayuno se toma al sol!!! A Diego, el dueño, parece que le encanta dar cantaleta y es SÚPER GROSERO y MALGENIADO. La habitación privada huele horriblemente a humedad (tampoco tiene ventana). El Hostel está ubicado justo al lado de lo que llaman la calle del bronx, así que da la sensación de INSEGURIDAD.
