Die Lage ist perfekt. Zimmer ist sehr gut ausgestattet, alle elektrischen Geräte funktionieren einwandfrei. Der Rezeptionist Omar ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und hat uns direkt mit jede Kleinigkeit geholfen.

Cleaner is there when you need her but the cleaning itself was rubbish Tried to change my room but the manager kept saying tomorrow after tomorrow but he didn't keep his word. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis (es gab ein upgrade auf ein Dreibettzimmer, sodass jeder ein eigenes Bett hatte). Gute Lage, Basics da, sauber, top Anbindung an ÖPNV und Geschäfte / Lokale. Sehr gute Tipps an der Rezeption auf Nachfrage.

Zimmer war etwas dunkel und einfach. Aber da wir uns wenig vor Ort aufgehalten haben, hat es uns nicht gestört.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist sehr gut, direkt neben der Gegend von Kumkapı. Dadurch sind viele Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten schnell zu erreichen.

Das Hotel ist sehr klein, allerdings sind nicht alle Zimmer klein. Das Badezimmer selbst ist ausreichend groß, allerdings wurde ein sehr kleines Waschbecken eingebaut. Die Wände wurden gestrichen, allerdings wurden Farbreste an den Fenster- und Türrahmen nicht sauber entfernt.

I highly recommend it. As many people have already mentioned, the staff is top-notch—especially Mr. Omar. The hotel also offers rooms with a view of the Sea of Marmara. There are plenty of shops in the area where you can buy almost anything.

The property is in a great location close to Yenikapi metro station, the shopping bazaar, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia Mosque and lots of places to eat. The room was clean and comfortable with lots of storage space for clothes with fridge and kettle also provided. Omar and the restnof the staff were friendly and helpful, l would stay here again.

The owner, Barand, and the staff were great and very helpful. They suggested good tours and gave us directions to many places. They have a family restaurant nearby where the food was delicious and the service was also very nice and polite. They have a fresh fruits platter that is worth a try. At the hotel, they made a taxi réservation for us that was punctual and safe. There is a métro station very close to move around also. Price/quality correct. Very clean place.

Me gusta el lugar porque es muy acogedor, tiene vista al mar, es una habitación pequeña pero perfecta, céntrica y limpia.

Ein besonderes Dankeschön geht an Omar an der Rezeption. Er war sehr freundlich, professionell und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Sein hervorragender Service hat unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut. Ich kann dieses Hotel gerne weiterempfehlen und würde jederzeit wieder hier übernachten. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Todo muy bien. Omar un 10/10! Nos ayudó y nos resolvió cualquier duda. Siempre atento y servicial. La habitación era nueva y estaba todo limpio. Nosotros sacamos los tours por nuestra cuenta antes de sacar esta reserva de hotel, pero recomiendo que saquen los tours con Omar!

Our stay at Mamma Marya Hotel was excellent and fully met our expectations. The staff was absolutely perfect — very kind, helpful, and professional throughout our entire stay. We especially appreciated that we were allowed to check in earlier than the official check-in time, which made our journey much more comfortable. On top of that, we received a complimentary room upgrade, which was a very pleasant surprise and significantly improved our experience. Overall, we were very satisfied and felt very comfortable during our stay. If we return to this area again, we will definitely choose this hotel once more. We can highly recommend it. The only small detail is that the beds are a bit on the soft side, as I personally prefer a firmer mattress.

Awesome location and staff! Heaps of eating places literally down the road to minutes away from the hotel- Turkish and South Asian cuisines. There’s a market every Thursday along the road off the hotel and heaps of clothing shops are open along that street selling stuff on the cheap till late at night. There’s public transport 2 minutes away from the hotel and the hotel is within walking distance (15-20 mins) to Food Street and the Egyptian/Spice/Grand Bazaars. Self service laundromat nearby, playground nearby and heaps of cute and friendly cats hang around outside or on the street off the hotel ❤️ Very friendly staff as well- Omar was super friendly and kind- he upgraded our rooms without added cost and was very helpful and chatted with us while we waited until 9pm for our flight home! Props to Muqadads as well for being such a kind and friendly cleaning staff! Highly recommend for the staff, location and cats! Wish I didn’t have to leave tbh haha

Отель очень понравился! Вид на Босфор. Отель пошёл навстречу и согласился на ранее заселения меня с сыном. У нас была длительная пересадка в Стамбуле, успели и поспать и обойти ближайшие достопримечательности. Отличный душ и кондиционер. Рядом вся необходимая инфраструктура. Сотрудники отеля очень гостеприимные. Однозначно рекомендую.

It is very easy to use the trains in Istanbul, and I loved taking the ferry. Omer speaks perfect English. I only wish that I had time to go to the Turkish baths.

The receptionist Mr Omar was very keen to help, always smiling, and speaks good english. Omar also arranged my hotel transfer at a very competitive price. The hotel itself is very cosy, and does have a lift. The room I had was a double with seaview. This room was very nice. With a view of the Bosphorus. The room was clean and the staff were happy to assistant is any issues ( thanks God I had none to report) The hotel location is in nice location with plenty of shops and an animated popular pedestrian area for dinning. However, I found the restaurants to be expensive so be careful. My stay was good value for money!

I had a wonderful time at Mamma Marya: the location was excellent, on a quiet street close to Sultanahmet's main attractions. My room was clean and quiet, perfect for a good night's sleep. The staff's welcome and helpfulness were warm and generous. I especially appreciate Omar, whose kindness I will always remember. Definitely recommended.

Der Besitzer Baran ist ein sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber und bereit bei allen Fragen zur Unterkunft oder Erkundung der Stadt zu helfen. Man kann sich vertrauensvoll an Ihn wenden, zum Beispiel um einen Flughafentransfer zu fairen Preisen organisiert zu bekommen. Die Zimmer sind wie beschrieben, alles ist sehr sauber. Sehr gute Ausgangslage um die Altstadt von Istanbul zu erkunden. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten (Hagia Sofia, Blaue Moschee, Großer Bazar, Gülhane Park, ...) ist fußläufig in ca. 30 min erreichbar. In der nahen Umgebung gibt es etliche Restaurants und Supermärkte. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind unmittelbarer nähe, die nächste größere Station Yenikapi ist in 15 min zu Fuß erreichbar.

Das angebotene Frühstück ist in einem anderen (sehr nahem) Restaurant. Eine Lösung direkt im Hotel wäre angenehmer aber angesichts des begrenzten Platzes auch schwierig umsetzbar.
