Beautiful swimming pool area, quiet, spacious rooms

Bathroom wasn’t much clean and needs to have more light.

Das Hotel ist in der Nähe von Strand und Straße mit Bars, Restaurants etc. Zimmer war gut, mit Sitzgelegenheiten draussen. Es war nur sehr wenig Beleuchtung im Bad, aber damit kann man leben.

I just loved this hotel! The aesthetic and ambiance, secluded from the hustle and bustle and noise of Seminyak. Nonetheless still conveniently located and easy Grab ride away from things. A peaceful and pretty oasis to retreat to!

No complaints

Really close to beach and everything you need - day spas, massages, nails, breakfasts, etc. The kitchen is also well equipped with a jug, toaster, fridge and cooking facilities. Lovely swimming pool which was maintained daily and garden added to the homely surroundings.

We had the one bedroom apartment and it was great. Had our own pool, which we really appreciated being able to cool off anytime. The bed was very comfortable and the facilities were more than adequate with two bathrooms, lounge and seperate bedroom. The rooms were clean and tidy, even though they are a bit dated, blackout curtainsin the bedroom. The staff were great, happy to sort our requests. The hotel pool was a good size for swimming lengths and clean salt water. There were quite a few restaurants within a 15min walk. We would recommend this hotel.

Occasionally we had to hint for staff, but they were never far away.

The place was being renovated. There was no restaurant or room service. My room was directly in the line of where the contractors were digging up the tiles around the pool and in it and the dust was lethal. I couldn't stop coughing. They then proceeded to paint the furniture with high gloss paint and the paint fumes were intense. The property let me down but the staff were wonderful and accommodating. I had to leave though because I became really affected. Room was tiny and there was no cupboard or appropriate hanging space. The TV was ancient and the size of a postage stamp

Staff could have been around a little more and would have appreciated a bit of a bigger desk in the room. One of the shelves was a little dirty too.

As the reviews mention, it’s tucked away in a quiet location. Initially it felt far out amongst all the little back streets but you quickly get your bearings and discover it’s conveniently central to two main streets and the beach. There is a laundry and a few cafes, message shops and Marts only a couple of minutes walk. The windows made the room feel so nice, bright and open. Kettle and fridge in the room but there is also a kitchen in the communal area with a Microwave and cooking facilities. Staff were not always visibly onsite but easy to contact via WhatsApp and there is a security station at the front. Would definitely stay here again.

The bathroom could just use a little touch up but that’s just personal preference. Everything worked as expected.

If you don't want to be woken up at 9:00 a.m. by the sound of sledgehammers and the smell of paint thinner, don't stay here. It's unbelievable, but they're carrying out painting and renovation work in the middle of July. It's impossible to sleep, and even if you want to use the pool, you won't be able to enjoy it. On top of that, it completely ruins the peaceful atmosphere. Doing renovation work during the peak season is beyond comprehension. To make matters worse, the staff keep knocking on your door at 9:30 a.m. for housekeeping. They are so persistent that the guests in the room next door had to leave a note asking not to be disturbed. The rooms are spacious, but there is mould.

fantastic location, an easy walk to the beach and right into the heart of Seminyak for shopping and great food. There are convenience stores close by, plus an excellent local massage spot that I’d highly recommend for a proper Balinese massage. The rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds, a large bathroom, and excellent air conditioning. The pool was also a nice bonus, perfect for a refreshing dip in the afternoons.

Beautiful ambiance, location and vibe. Away from the noise , but close to all of the fantastic amenities. Very special place, that we are looking forward to going back again and again! Thank you 🙏

Un hotel espectacular , muy buena ubicación ,muy cerca de la playa pero a la vez increíblemente tranquilo. Las habitaciones super amplias y cómodisimas y la piscina espectacular.

Todo fue estupendo, incluso me dejaron quedarme una hora más el último día.No tiene desayuno pero puedes pedir y te lo traen de una cafetería cercana suite rápido y muy rico.

We had to change room because it was smelling like mold. It was still smelly in the second room but slightly better. The hotel is clearly old and needs renovation work. No atmosphere in the common areas / pool so we didn’t stay long there

It was at the end of a dead end street so it was very peaceful.

Wonderfully heigh ceilings but no ceiling fan , and windows can’t be opened. No screens on doors so they cannot be opened either. Room had a smell of damp about it but unfortunately it could not be aired naturally.

• Boutique Experience: A small and quiet hotel with only 8 rooms. The aesthetics are on point—long pool, black-and-white tiles, chandeliers, and palm trees make it a perfect place to relax. • The Room (Pool View Suite): I had the luck to have the pool view suite, the biggest room there! Felt like a king—the bed is very comfortable, the shades block most sunlight, and the shower pressure was good. I appreciated the large balcony area with both a big sofa lounger and a table. • The Pool: Salt pool with perfect temperature, the highlight of the villa for me! Enjoyed swimming several times of day, doing laps and just relaxing. Strangely, I was the only one using it 95% of the time. • Location & Surrounding Area: Seminyak beach is a 5 minutes walk away, perfect place to finish the day and watch the sunset (there’s simple tables there to have coconut/beers and you can rent nice chair loungers for 50K IDR… also many high-end beach clubs close). As Casa Artista is located a bit outside the busy city center, there’s not many places close-by but there’s at least 2 to 3 good restaurants and convenience stores in walking distance. For anywhere further, grab come pick you up at the door! • Amenities: Good wi-fi, strong AC plus all amenities are provided including a fridge, hair dryer, and a safe. • Staff & Service: Very polite and kind staff; I was surprised by the size of the crew and they constantly take care of the hotel grounds. Communication was proactive before check-in and throughout the stay on WhatsApp. • Extra Services: I did not use them but the hotel offers extra spa services like affordable in-room massages and breakfast.

• Issue: Biggest annoyance was the room door not closing properly; I had to continuously lock the door (both from inside and outside) otherwise the door doesn’t close properly and the cold air escapes. • Privacy/Signage: A “no disturb sign” or “please clean room” to put on the door would have been nice. One day I decided to sleep in late but was awakened to ask if I wanted the room clean. • Arrival: The street leading to the hotel is a bit dodgy (although safe) and the lack of a clear sign of the hotel’s name makes the place harder to find. Luckily, I was greeted upon arrival!

I have booked the junior room (nr 11) which was spacious and looked just on the pictures. The staff was helpful when I asked for other room and even helped me to find my little hook what I used in the bathroom and forgot during the move to the other room. Thank you again.

What was disturbing for me this room doesn't belong to the main house, its separate room outside above the scooter parking and water pump machine accessible only via steep small steps. For a very noise sensitive person like me the noises during the night and morning when more and more scooters arrived I could not stand and changed to other room inside the building. That was much better and saved my trip.

The swimming pool was refreshing. The staff was friendly, although they weren't there all the time. The room was clean, good towels.

The location was a bit far from the "center" and it was sometimes difficult for drivers to find the place. I wondered why there was no plastic bag in the toilet trash can, or even a lid. This would be a small thing that would affect hygiene and cleanliness. There were no hooks in the bathroom to hang towels.

We like the quiet location and courtyard pool with plants. The villa has lovely Italianate style, comfortable communal kitchen which we didn’t use and we welcomed provision of filtered water and their efforts to be eco friendly. Staff when available were friendly.

There was a strong smell from the drains each time we took a shower. The net curtains were dirty with mould stains which we told the staff. A little more attention to details would make this place really nice. Near to beaches and restaurants but walking very difficult due to narrow roads and incessant traffic.

Good location about 400-500 meters until the beach, very clean the room and all the spaces in the hotel, nice swimming pool.

The streets near are very narrow.

i love how peaceful the place is silent and no disturbance from outside. Really good service from the staff and they come everyday and if we are not there they send message to ask should they clean the room.

The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom facilities were very good. I had a lovely breakfast from their kitchen which was delivered to my room. Great staff and a super quiet location and a nice pool.

Nice large room and lovely pool

Bed was uncomfortable, had to sleep on top of the bedding to stop me feeling the springs. Bathroom sink leaked so they they simply propped up the piping. TV very small and hard to see across the room. WiFi was APPALLING. Could not use Smart TV options and so many websites kept saying they were blocked, dropped out consistently. Our patio was in the soaking rain the WHOLE time so could not sit out there or dry washing, it was also a public thoroughfare. For 3 days they were fixing up the paving outside our room with no warning, had to have the curtains drawn or go out all day. Provided a measly 2 coffee sachets a day. Location was AWFUL, right down an alleyway, you had to walk past a construction site, then a 10 minute walk to anything, which doesn't sound too bad until you add SUPER narrow roads, with huge walls on each side, poorly lit, open drains, pouring rain and oncoming traffic. Difficult to get taxis to come to the location as it was so hard to access and then they couldn't even turn around when they dropped you off. We REGRETTED chosing this location and spent each day getting out and back to more vibrant areas of Kuta.

Diese Suite verdient den Namen nicht. Nach der 1. Nacht haben wir uns an das Hotel gewandt, um die eklatanten Mängel aufzuzeigen. Man war nicht begeistert aber auch nicht wirklich interessiert. Eine 1-2 stündige Pinselrenovierung haben wir abgelehnt - Fenster die nie geschlossen sind, eine Toilette, die gruseliger nicht sein kann. Der Spiegel im Bad verdient den Namen nicht, die Matratzen tanzen, weil ausgenudelt. Die Außendusche besticht durch Grünspan. Es gab nicht ein Teil in der Suite, welches in Ordnung war. Nach der 2. Nacht sind wir abgereist - von einer Suite darf ich anderes erwarten. Nie wieder - die positiven Bewertungen erstaunen uns immer noch. Die Bilder sind echt - versprochen. Zum Strand geht man ca 10 Minuten, der Markt ist ähnlich weit entfernt - Restaurants gibt es in der Nähe.

Private and tranquil - a pleasant surprise for it’s central location

Nos tocó la habitación junior, la verdad que la bienvenida por el personal es muy personalizada, sin embargo tuvimos problemas con el baño, el inodoro se atrancó, y lo que sostiene la ducha se caía. Es cierto que nos dieron una solución regalándonos dos cocos pero creo que sí que deberían de revisar las instalaciones. Algo que nos complicó la estancia en Seminyak es que tenían el servicio de las motos sin disponibilidad y no pudimos alquilar ninguna. Caminando hasta la playa principal son unos 20 minutos.

Baño un poco descuidado, no opción de alquiler de moto.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Casa Artista. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive and genuinely caring throughout my time there. Their support and availability made the whole experience feel smooth and comfortable. I stayed in a studio and found it very practical and well organised. The kitchenette was functional and suitable for basic cooking. There was initially a small issue with induction-compatible utensils, but once I mentioned it, the team provided what I needed. Everything was kept very clean, and the daily housekeeping maintained excellent hygiene standards. I also appreciated the additional services available, such as restaurant delivery and the option of in-room spa treatments, which added real comfort to the stay.

If I could suggest one small improvement, it would be the housekeeping schedule. Cleaning usually started around 9-9:30am, which may feel a bit early for guests who prefer a slower morning. A slightly more flexible approach could make the experience even better.

Situé dans une impasse, c'est assez calme et surveillé Nous avons donné nos vêtements à lavé et très bien, nous avons également testé le service massage et très bien aussi (le meilleur qu'on est fait à Bali). - there was no hot water on one of the two days of our accommodation -very dirty towels with stains and bed linen (we asked to change, they brought the same ones with stains) and the staff was surprised at our request "we don't have any new towels for you." Is it really impossible to learn how to bleach towels? There is so much chemistry now - the air conditioner was working very poorly - Very much! The creaking bed -yellow toilet - the view from the room is on the wall, and people are walking past the windows, the room itself is dark, so you also need to close the curtains because people are walking by. Blackout curtains - it is impossible to close only tulle! Only with a dark curtain at once, so it was always dark in the room( - zero privacy! I booked a room 3 months in advance, clarified that we have honey moon, so they gave us a walk-through room with a view of the wall!!! How do you like that?) people walk past the window , and when I asked to change it , they said that only for an additional fee .payment. By the way, the room was never decorated (and in all other hotels it was decorated) - I can hear all the neighbors in the room - in the morning from 8.00 there is a construction site! I couldn't get enough sleep. Why it is impossible for the hotel to arrange with the construction site to start at least at 10 is unclear. But from 8:00 they start hammering like it's happening in your room. -of the 9 hotels booked in Bali, alas, the worst impressions are from this (

Le personnel est aux petits soins. L’emplacement du logement est parfait, à 10min à pied seulement de la plage de Seminyak, et du marché. Pleins de petits cafés où prendre un petit déjeuner même si l’hôtel propose une carte également. Prise en charge par des Grab hyper rapide. Présence d’un petit supermarché de proximité à 2min. L’hôtel propose des massages incroyables je recommande fortement !

The Villa was lovely, tucked away from all the hustle and bustle, but close to the main centre and the beach. The room was very spacious and clean, mine was overlooking the pool and beautiful garden. The staff very friendly and helpful. It was peaceful and quiet, if that is what you are looking for on a holiday. It's not a party place. There are also some lovely resident cats around the neighborhood that pop in and say hello. I enjoyed watching their antics.

I had to keep my finger of the toilet flush lever for a long time to flush everything down.

Hotel is unique & my fav feature was how very quiet ‘ peaceful the hotel & surrounding area is.

Mow grass on rooftop terrace please. Rest of gardens were superb.

I loved these apartments The room is a great size, bathroom is huge. Everything you need is provided. The staff are extremely helpful. There are a few kitties that cruise around, I loved them..

The room, cleanliness and staff were great!

My room was upstairs, and I needed to use a spiral staircase. When I arrived, the staff promptly helped me. But when I left, due to an early checkout, I needed to take them down by myself, which was a bit inconvenient. Apart from that, all good.

Closeness to shops & amenities but away from the noise

It was a little bit tired, could do with a freshen up, but that’s the only thing.

A wonderful apartment, very spacious with an inner courtyard and private pool, large living room with kitchen. Excellent service. You can order a massage in your room, which is done very professionally. I recommend these apartments.
