Loved the place. Well maintained. Far from chaos. Perfect stay for the nature lovers!
The breakfast was amazing, the rooms were unique, and it was SO nice to be away from the hustle and bustle and noise of the city.....yet you are still close! It worked great for our family of 4 to stay one night before we shifted over to a nearby resort for the 2 day wedding we were in town for.
Paradise. This was such a nice place for us to stay during our India trip. Loved having the garden, the beautiful view from the roof, the various great spaces to hang out. Loved the big rooms and the lovely staff.
Nothing.
Only property, rest all experience was bad.
Staff behaviour, and politeness is what you should not ask from them. Location is like nowhere and lost. No additional request can be asked, Bonfire outside room is available if you pay staff over and above there regular charges. Mismanaged and worst experience
Quiet peaceful little cation and incredibly room and staff
Aathetics, service, the greenery, beautiful rooms..
It isn’t easy to get transportation from the place .. and rooms have no tvs
This is an extraordinarily peaceful and elegant retreat, an oasis of calm. Very comfortable and lush with your breakfast and dinner brought to the patio outside of your room if you prefer. Great views of the town, mountain (with a cable car) and sunsets. The staff were gentle and always accommodating. At one point lending us playing cards. The Secret Garden is a secret I am very happy to share. Colin
Love all about secret garden
There is nothing you can not like
Very peaceful and green, 2 km away from city yet easily accessible. Staff was very helpful and food was awesome.
Kitchen access was not available even though basic cutlery was mentioned on the property page.
Thé property is located a bit far away from the centre but it’s at walking distance from the Desert Camp where camel and other activities take place. It’s a very calm location and beautifully maintained with a lot of outdoor spaces
There’s no bar 😊
Clean, cool, nice stuff, very kind and helpfull, is good location far from pushkar crowd.
Only luttle difgicult to make connection by car or riksha yo center
Location- a little away from the city Lots of open space Garden Suraj Room Good staff
Me encanto. Todo muy limpio y personal súper amable. Lejos de la bulla del centro. Pero a la vez cerca de todo .
Todo bien.
Secret garden is the correct name of this place - because it is a secret and a wonderful garden! And as others have described, the rooms are gorgeous and huge! Loved everything about the place!
Amazing vibe - such a great place to rest
Little bit far away hard to get out if u don’t have car and waiting for riksha but it’s the price you pay for secluded and peaceful place
Gar nichts
Quite, clean, well maintained, friendly staff, location, and little buddy MAX
Nothing
L'endroit est magique et calme. Staff très sympathique.
Absolutely serene. Such a peaceful setting and incredibly helpful staff! They made us great food, great prices on laundry and just really kind people. It was awesome having a fridge in the room too and a/c and fan plus a little private balcony in the room we chose which was on the second floor. Very private too. Thank you for a great stay!
It’s a bit of a distance from town compared to other places but it’s so worth it for the air quality, nature and peacefulness of the place.
Everything from the room, vibe, nature, staff, sunsets, sunrise, you can have everything from there
The secret garden is a lovely quiet haven perfect for relaxing after the excitement of Pushkar. The property and rooms are unique and comfortable. The stand out are staff - Mineesh stayed up late one evening to ensure we returned safely from a desert camel ride. Our meals were served to our room and were delicious. Everything was perfectly clean. Would absolutely stay here again - perfect for a romantic getaway with expansive private rooms and stunning views.
Nothing - although it didn’t have resort facilities like pool etc, it has way more than you’d expect for the price range. Including high quality linen, air con, and meal service with fantastic food.
The overall look and feel of the place was good. It was peacefull, away from hustel of city
The green lush location is amazing. Rooms are big and very comfortabel. The friendly staff is very nice and helpful, breakfast is tasty. We will recommend the secret garden to other guests. Its a great and relaxing hotel in Pushkar

Nestled in a serene location, this property feels like an escape into peace. The timeless, old-school charm of the rooms instantly wins your heart, offering both immense comfort and a touch of nostalgia. Each room is warm, cozy, and surprisingly spacious — the kind you never want to leave. What truly makes the stay memorable is the staff — genuinely polite, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile."
I recently stayed at Secret Garden, Pushkar, and overall, I truly enjoyed my time there — the serene location, cozy rooms, and peaceful vibes made it a memorable experience. However, there were a few aspects that could be improved. Firstly, I was a bit disappointed that the property charged extra for a checkout just 30–60 minutes beyond the scheduled time, as most places in India are generally flexible about this. Secondly, stray dogs were able to enter the property, even at night, which might be a concern for some guests. Lastly, while the rooms were indeed cozy, the ceiling in my room had some dust falling from it, which affected the overall comfort. I hope these small issues can be addressed, as the property truly has great potential
The location, the stone rooms, the quiet gardens. View from the top beats everything on an overcast day in the desert. The indian curries were nice. The staff made sure everything was I liked
Lack of television.
Very beautiful property surrounded by greenery. Lovely views from the roof and the interiors and garden were amazing. Definitely secret garden vibes.
The room wasn’t even a little sound proofed, and as our visit was in wedding season, we were kept awake with surrounding drums. In addition there was a very barky dog outside the property that took over from the drums when they eventually stopped. On our first night the owner threw a birthday party with more drums, adding to an already noisy stay. I’m sure if you stay outside of wedding season, it would be very pleasant but we booked for a quiet place to grab sleep outside of central Pushkar and unfortunately didn’t get any sleep.
The rooms are spacious, very large and nicely decorated... You immediately feel at ease. Sublime garden where you can spend quality time, eat, relax, read... A place of peace. A warm welcome.
It’s a really beautiful property with close attention to detail - a calm and peaceful refuge away from the noise and energy of the city center. Loved the big comfortable beds and of course max the sausage dog! Manish went above and beyond to make our stay really memorable.
we enjoyed everything!
This guest house is just beautiful in every way, spacious light and super comfy room, gorgeous gardens with lights hanging in the trees lighting up the place like a magical fairy garden in the evening. Staff and owners were friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. I loved every moment of staying at the Sectet Garden and will be back again. Thank you Veronique and Denesh.
The stay is very good and the staff is well cooperative.
The location is far from the city, and was unable to be found via maps. Though it's like living in nature
Unique Spacious rooms, plenty of open green area Had a comfortable and pleasurable stay
It is situated in between farms where you feel vibe of peace and serene. I recommend to take mountain view room where you can spend all your day looking over the farms and mountains . Wind is mesmerising . You have your own privacy with big balcony and sitting area at the front and back side of the room . Staff behaviour is too great .
Everything is great as i experienced.
View was amazing and the rooms were clean
We wanted to enjoy my friend’s bachelorette but couldn’t because apparently we had to keep quiet every single time since the manager was not feeling well.
Beautiful spacious rooms and amazing rooftop views. There are only 5 rooms - all lovely, but the 2nd floor ones are spectacular, with wrap around balconies at treetop level. Really efficient, helpful & charming staff, too. Secret Garden is a one off place - I highly recommend it!
Beautiful property at a calm place off the main city.
Food prices are way too expensive and the taste and quality is also not good. The quality is as per a sub standard restaurant.
Beautifully built, ample area to sit enjoy the peace and quiet, amidst the beautifully maintained plants.
The only thing I would suggest is providing heaters, as in Dec Jan. It gets really cold in the night in rooms.
Amazingly well kept, great architecture and very large rooms!
Little away from centre..
We loved it so much that we extended our stay
The best place to stay in India. A beautiful garden, very kind people, relaxed atmosphere...we really loved it. The room was beautiful, big, and has a very comfortable bed and soft pillows, it has an amazing veranda with garden view. The shower was good, warm water, good pressure. Food was also very good. We recommend to rent a scooter, which makes it easy to get around.
We were travelling with a pet and this was a pet friendly hotel and it was very comfortable. The rooms were very comfortable and scenic and the staff were also helpful and friendly.
The room service was a bit slow and we had to wait a bit.
The decor everywhere and the views from the rooftop.
The place is so peaceful, beautiful gardens, spacious room, comfy and well decorated, wifi worked well, staff is friendly and you just dont want to leave! Definately recommend
A bit far from the city, its possible to get a tuktuk to drive you
nature..staff...atmosphere
nothing
Really beautiful property, the gardens and rooms were huge and lovely. A little bit out of town but we didn’t mind that, only a short tuk tuk ride away.
They never specified they only took cash on day of check out. We nearly missed our connection because of this; they really need to state it on booking.com so travellers can be prepared.
Location of the property is good and design is also good.Polite staff at the premises.
Food Quality, Basic neccessary amenities such as fans in common and open areas or portable fans as this property can only be cherished in winters. In case anyone visiting in summers is nightmare. Proper lighting arrangement specially stairs where my kids fell due to no light and signage. Cost of food according to quality was very high, its better to eat outside the property than avail there services. They charge for basic human need that is water bottles.
The rooms are extraordinarily tastefully designed and quite spacious. Forget typical hotel hallways, rooms are quite apart from each other. There is a rooftop terrace offering stunning views of the countryside. Dinesh, the manager, doubles as the place's chef. Nobody could do a better job than him - Kadai Paneer was our favourite.
Really unique property nestled in the outskirts of Pushkar. The whole place is designed with attention to detail. The rooms are airy, full of light and spacious but have a great sense of privacy. I didn't want to leave!
The location requires a mode of independant transportation. We rented a motorcycle and it was fine. In fact I preferred the out of town feel.
Ambience
There were too many bees.
Very aesthetic and spacious. Well maintained.
Food options can be increased.
The property is incredibly magical. We had so much fun exploring the gardens, hidden corners and rooftops, it's like a fairy land. The room was huge and gorgeous with a super comfortable bed. We just wanted to stay there all day and not even see Pushkar.
You need to call and wait for a taxi to come everytime you want to go into Pushkar.
I cannot find the words to express what a magical place this is. It is by far the most exquisite man made beauty I've experienced! I would be convinced if I was told that I have accidentally entered a fairy tale. The service is great, place is quiet and extremely clean, the rooms are huge, and the decoration of the place is most aesthetically pleasing. The attention to detail is inexplicable. I had planned to stay for 2 nights but ended up pushing my trip by another 2 nights mostly because of this stay! I will most definitely visit again. Hosts were great and their little dog is a heart throb ❤️
One of the most beautiful stays in India - The Secret Garden is made with beauty and from the heart. Surrounded by lush plants, trees and flowers you wake up with nature on your doorstep. The rooms are filled with light, private terraces, the MOST comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on in India! And all the comforts you need for a peaceful stay. We spent the days relaxing in the garden and only a short scooter ride into town to be by the lake. The owners are very kind, honest and caring people who will make you feel at home. You can feel the love they put in this place, highly recommend!
Nothing - we are coming back for sure :)
beautiful place.....
beautiful place.....
beautiful garden. People are all very nice
An incredible place in a secluded yet close vicinity to Pushkar town centre. The rooms are very clean and spacious, with every detail well thought through. Being surrounded by nature in the form of a beautiful, "secret" garden completes the whole experience comprising for an unforgettable stay. If you are looking for a place to take a break from the Indian hustle and bustle, or a romantic weekend for two, you have come to the right place!
Location and structure
Amazing garden and beautiful rooms. The roof tops where excellent. I loved we were out of Pushkar but only a 5 min scooter ride. It was quiet and rural. The buildings have an old world feel.
We had a couple of cold showers but they were waiting on the plumber to come and fix it. They were aware of the issue.
The ambiance and how peaceful this property is.
the entire place is well designed and spacious. the host and the team are super sweet and caring. the rooms are terrific, well lit from literally all four sides and there is ample area for walking here and there inside and outside the rooms. i recommend walking barefoot inside the secret garden area, it feels good and connected to mother earth.
there was nothing not to like.
Stunning property with tranquil grounds, truly a secret garden in paradise. The staff are all wonderful, friendly, accommodating & very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend to anyone visiting Pushkar, it’s has been perfect! Thank you to Dinesh, Veronika, Ganesh & Lokendar - for making us feel at home ❤️ Special thanks to Max the Rajasthani puppy who completed our experience with so much love & joy. We will miss you all dearly x
