Reviewed Sep 6, 2026It was an amazing experience! This was by far the best little accommodation we have stayed at in Morocco so far. The ride there can be a little bumpy, but the extremely friendly owner, the amazing views, and the breakfast make it absolutely worth it.
The breakfast was honestly the best I’ve had so far — such a great variety, mostly homemade, and everything was so delicious. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and smelled lovely. The owner’s English is also excellent, which made communication really easy.
Overall, there was honestly nothing negative to say. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend it!

Tous les détails et les petites attentions nous font sentir bien. La maison est bien décorée et très confortable. La nourriture excellente et les aliments sont choisis avec amour et proviennent de leur terre.
Que dire de la vue magnifique!

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026Voor onze aankomst werden we door de eigenaar ruimschoots op tijd gecontacteerd dat er problemen waren met de watertoevoer tot het dorp. Mocht ons verblijf niet kunnen doorgegaan hebben dan zou de eigenaar een andere oplossing voor ons helpen meezoeken. Enkele dagen voor ons verblijf kregen we antwoord dat de toevoer werd herstelt en dat ons verblijf kon doorgaan. Bij onze aankomst werden we hartelijk ontvangen door Abdoul en zijn familie. We werden direct ontvangen met een kopje Berberse Whiskey met een uitgebreid huisgemaakte koekjes, nootjes (alles uit eigen tuin), ... Abdoul nam ruimschoots de tijd om met ons te praten over het leven in Bergen. Even later werden we uitgenodigd om aan te schuiven aan de tafel van de familie waar we samen een lekker maal aten. Bij onze vraag of we een wandeling konden doen in de buurt maakte Abdoul zich klaar om ons de buurt te laten zien. We trokken de bergen in en werden hier en daar uitgenodigd door lokale bewoners om een kopje thee mee te drinken. Er werd ons ook gevraagd of we ter plaatse wouden eten en hadden de keuze uit verschillende tajines of couscous. We kozen voor de cousvous met kip die ter plaatse werd klaargemaakt door de mama. Het was super lekker. De kamer was top en de douche eveneens. 's Morgens werden we dan ook nog eens verwend met een overheerlijk vers gemaakt ontbijt. We hebben bij Abdoul het meest geleerd over de cultuur, de gastvrijheid, het gebergte,... Het was een tussenstop op onze doorreis maar heeft een diepe indruk nagelaten. Abdoul organiseert ook meerdaagse bergwandelingen in het prachtige Atlasgebergte.

Reviewed Jul 2, 2026Abdul is a knowledgable and charming young man, his commitment to the local area is to be commended. The guest house is lovely, beds comfortable and Abdul will do all he can to make your stay fabulous including carrying our bags up and down the steep steps. Abdul and his mother grown all the food on offer and we ate like royalty. They even mill their own grains for fresh bread every morning.

民宿主人很溫文有禮，精通英文，在摩洛哥所有不懂的問題都可以得到解答，非常親切。
我們很感謝他幫我們準備的一切。晚餐是另外收費的，但請不要猶豫一定要加價預定晚餐。會有最難忘的正宗摩洛哥料理體驗。他的夢想是未來建立當地婦女的工作坊，我相信他會成為在地的入口。幫當地爭取到更多的工作機會。
我永遠不會忘記這次的難忘經驗。希望他能完成夢想。

Reviewed Jun 26, 2026Wspaniałe miejsce w Maroko. Gospodarz niezwykle życzliwy i pomocny. Wniósł nasze bagaże na samą górę, gdzie położony jest hotel. Ugościł nas tradycyjną herbatą i przekąskami. Obiekt jest bardzo czysty oraz urządzony w tradycyjnym marokańskim stylu, z pięknym widokiem na góry. Fantastyczne śniadanie.

Reviewed Jun 19, 2026Mama+ich waren 5 Tage bei Abduls Familie u. bekamen einen authentischen Einblick ins Leben vor Ort. Wir wurden vom ersten Moment an wie Familienmitglieder aufgenommen.
Jeder Tag begann mit der Versorgung der Tiere. Spaßig war das Melken der Kuh. Anfangs noch ungeschickt, aber dank der geduldigen Anleitung von Abduls Mum schafften wir jeden Morgen ca. 1l Milch.
Danach Brot backen. Mit viel Geduld + Humor brachte uns die Familie alles bei. Am letzten Tag wurde uns sogar das Anzünden des trad. Lehmofens anvertraut.
Nach dem gemeins. Frühstück gings auf die Felder, Futter für die Tiere ernten. Abduls Mum machte aus dem frisch geschnittenen Gras einen riesigen Bündel, natürlich wollte ich ihn zum Haus tragen. Abdul und seine Mum befestigten das Bündel an mir und ich stapfte los. Ernüchterung folgte schnell: Das Bündel war unglaublich schwer. Bis zur Straße schaffte ichs, dann musste ich aufgeben und Abduls Mum übernahm. Mein Ego hat gelitten, Respekt an die Frauen, die diese Arbeit jeden Tag machen. Ich bekam danach kleinere Bündel. 😉
Erholung kam auch nicht zu kurz. Wir besichtigten das Bergdorf Megdaz und picknickten in traumhafter Kulisse am Fluss. Weiteres Highlight: Abdul zeigte mir, wo Skorpione leben u. wie man sie aus ihren Höhlen lockt. Mein neues Hobby – zum Leidwesen meiner Mutter. 😄
Abends wurden wir bekocht – mit Abstand das beste Essen, das wir in Marokko gegessen haben - mit Zutaten aus eigenem Anbau. Diese Frische und Qualität schmeckt man. Abdul ist ein unglaublich herzlicher, fürsorglicher u. aufmerksamer Gastgeber u. hat sich jederzeit darum gekümmert, dass es uns gut geht. Ihr habt uns mit einer Wärme und Offenheit aufgenommen, die uns tief berührt hat. Wir sind überwältigt von der Gastfreundschaft, der ♥️-lichkeit und den besonderen Momenten, die wir mit euch teilen durften. Danke, dass ihr uns nicht nur euer Zuhause geöffnet habt, sondern wir für einige Tage Teil eurer Familie sein durften. Von Herzen danke für alles! Und bis bald.

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026Fantastisch verblijf gehad bij Abdul en zijn familie. Het meest gastvrije ontvangst en verblijf voor ons in Marokko!
Ontvangen met een glimlach en lekkere thee en nootjes en producten uit eigen tuin. Abdul neemt de tijd om alles te vertellen over de cultuur en de omgeving. Zijn moeder heeft heerlijk voor ons gekookt. De veg tagine en beef met pruimen tagine zijn echte aanraders! Abdul zorgt er voor dat je niks tekort komt en je je meer dan welkom voelt. Zou deze plek echt iedereen aanraden!

En petite voiture ça peut-être compliqué d'y accéder.

Reviewed May 28, 2026Der Gastgeber hat uns bereits an der Strasse herzlich empfangen. Das Guesthouse ist ein wundervoller Ort. Es gibt weiche Handtücher und eine heisse Dusche. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und hat uns direkt jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Es gab ein leckeres Nachtessen und ein tolles Frühstück. Ich kann das Guesthouse sehr empfehlen. Wir waren mit den Fahrrädern unterwegs und nutzen das Guesthouse für eine Übernachtung. Wenn wir mehr Zeit gehabt hätten, wären wir gerne länger geblieben.

Reviewed May 26, 2026Das Gästehaus von Abdoul übertrifft alles in Sachen Gastfreundlichkeit und Gemütlichkeit.
Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet, sehr sauber, die Dusche ist heiß. Die Terasse bietet eine wundervolle Sicht. Die Lage ist wunderschön im Atlasgebirge - lasst euch nicht durch die Strassenverhältnisse von dieser wunderbaren Tour abhalten! Das Essen war außergewöhnlich gut und reichlich. Abdoul ist ein offener, aufmerksamer Gastgeber mit Herz und Seele und bereit, sein Wissen über Land und Kultur zu teilen. Beim nächsten Mal bringen wir mehr Zeit mit, vielen Dank für die wunderbare Erfahrung!

Reviewed May 26, 2026Séjour exceptionnel chez Abdou ! La chambre était spacieuse et très propre. Le lit très confortable. La salle de bain bien équipée avec de l'eau chaude, et aussi très propre. Le logement est situé dans un petit village de l'Atlas et Abdou nous a tout de suite accueilli avec un immense sourire qui ne le quitte jamais (ainsi qu'un thé berbère et plein de choses à grignoter pour le goûter). Nous avions du temps, alors nous sommes restés discuter avec lui. Il nous a appris plein de choses sur la vie berbère et sur le Maroc, et nous a conseillé une jolie randonnée aux alentours. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux (et très copieux) avec plein de choses faites maison ou cultivées sur place (le pain, le beurre, les amandes...). De loin le meilleur petit déjeuner que nous avons pris en 15 jours au Maroc !
Abdou parle parfaitement français, anglais, arabe, berbère et bientôt espagnol.
Un énorme merci Abdou pour ton hospitalité et ta générosité, nous te recommanderons si nous avons des connaissances qui vont au Maroc prochainement, inchallah !
La pluie et la neige de cet hiver ont abîmé les routes donc c'est parfois de la piste pour accéder au logement. Mais en roulant doucement et avec prudence, c'est largement faisable (nous avions une Dacia Sandero)

Niché dans un magnifique village au cœur des montagnes de l’Atlas, l’endroit est dépaysant, paisible et authentique. Mais ce qui rend cette expérience vraiment exceptionnelle, c’est avant tout l’hospitalité incroyable d’Abdul.
Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec un délicieux thé, des gourmandises et beaucoup de gentillesse. Abdul est un hôte attentionné, généreux et profondément attaché à son village et à sa région. Il prend le temps d’échanger, de partager son histoire, ses projets et son amour pour sa région, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus humain et authentique.
La guest house est très propre, décorée avec goût, mêlant tradition marocaine et confort moderne. Les chambres sont spacieuses, la literie excellente et la terrasse offre une vue magnifique sur le village.
Les repas sont excellent préparés avec des produits de la famille. Le dîner comme le petit déjeuner étaient délicieux et très copieux.
On ressent ici une vraie générosité. Si vous cherchez une expérience authentique, un cadre exceptionnel dans l’Atlas, ne cherchez plus. Merci encore Abdul pour votre accueil chaleureux et votre bienveillance. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! N'hésitez-pas à partager cette adresse.

Reviewed Apr 30, 2026Ubytování v horách, na které jen tak nezapomenete. Už od prvního okamžiku vás přivítá majitel, který je neuvěřitelně příjemný, milý a empatický. Je vidět, že svou práci dělá srdcem – skutečně mu záleží na tom, aby se hosté cítili dobře. Po celou dobu pobytu byl velmi pozorný a ochotný zajistit cokoliv, co jsme potřebovali. Díky jeho přístupu jsme se cítili spíš jako na návštěvě u dobrého známého než v klasickém ubytování.
Velkým zážitkem bylo i jídlo. Snídaně i večeře byly naprosto vynikající – autentické, poctivé a připravené s láskou. Každé jídlo bylo radostí a krásně doplňovalo celkovou atmosféru pobytu. Domácí suroviny.
Vše bylo perfektní

Reviewed Apr 30, 2026asz pobyt w Tayda przerósł nasze najśmielsze oczekiwania! Gospodarz Abdoul jest niesamowicie gościnny, miły i pomocny. Kolacja i śniadanie były przepyszne i ogromne, wszystko na bazie swoich produktów. Warto przejechać tą drogę chociażby dla tego doświadczenia! Droga jest wymagająca, ale ostrożność i skupienie wystarczają żeby ją pokonać bez problemów - zalecam jechać nią za dnia.
Dziękujemy Abdoul, robisz to najlepiej na świecie!

The dinner and breakfast were fantastic. The location was amazing, in the middle of the Atlas mountains.

Reviewed Apr 14, 2026Il soggiorno a casa di Abdoul è stata una delle tappe più inaspettate e belle del nostro viaggio tra Marrakech e il deserto. Cibo delizioso sia a cena che a colazione, gentilezza incredibile dell'host che ci ha subito fatto sentire a casa con il the di benvenuto e le continue attenzioni. La strada per arrivare può spaventare essendo strade di montagna un po' sterrate ma non lasciatevi fermare, ne vale assolutamente la pena!

L’accueil a été exceptionnel : beaucoup de gentillesse, d’attention et une vraie envie de partager. L’établissement est très propre, la décoration est soignée, alliant tradition et modernité. Nous avons été contactés en amont pour organiser le dîner, avec des plats faits maison à partir de produits locaux, délicieux et très copieux. Le rapport qualité-prix est vraiment excellent.
Rien à signaler, tout était parfait.

Reviewed Apr 13, 2026Le coup de coeur de notre voyage au Maroc. Abdul a su créer un cocon pour les voyageurs, dans un cadre sublime. Son accueil, son sens du partage et sa résilience permette au voyageur de se sentir comme à la maison tout en partageant des moments riches de sens. Une ballade facile de 2h est accessible directement depuis le gite, les paysages sont à couper le souffle. Je recommande à 1000%
Suite aux fortes intempéries de fevrier et mars la route entre ouarzazate et le gite a été fortement endommagée. Rien d'insurmontable cependant : nous avons fait la traversée en Kia PIcanto !! Les travaux de reconstruction sont en cours et la situation devrait s'améliorer rapidement. Si vous n'êtes pas rassuré, le mieux est peut être d'envoyer un message à Abdul qui saura vous indiquer l'état de la route en fonction de la météo récente. Mais il serait dommage se priver de cette superbe découverte à cause de la route.

Reviewed Apr 12, 2026Die Übernachtung bei Abdoul war an Gastfreundlichkeit nicht zu überbieten. Die Örtlichkeit ist zwar nicht gerade leicht zu erreichen, da die Straßen teilweise sehr abenteuerlich sind, aber wir haben es mit unserem Mietwagen geschafft und es hat sich auch mehr als gelohnt. Die Landschaft ist atemberaubend und sehr abwechslungsreich. Insbesondere das Dorf ist sehenswert und die Leute hier sehr nett. Hier kann man das echte Dorfleben sehen. Nach einer ausführlichen Begrüßung mit vielen Snacks haben wir eine ganze Weile mit Abdoul gesprochen und konnten viel über Marokko und seine Leute erfahren. Der Aufenthalt hat uns also auch in kultureller Sicht bereichert. Das Abendbrot war eins der Besten, die wir in Marokko hatten. Und die Unterkunft war für die Verhältnisse im Dorf sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir hoffen, dass wir irgendwann mal wieder kommen können.

We got there after an unforgettable drive across the High Atlas and were blown away by the wonderful hospitality, the excellent food and the hours spent talking to Abdoul about life in Morocco. The Guesthouse is a true labour of love, built over many years in a tiny village that seems hardly touched by modern life, though everything is in perfect condition and super clean. Bit out of the way, of course, but if you're in the area it's highly recommended. And if you're not in the area, consider going. The landscape is off the scale beautiful. P.S. It happened to be my wife's birthday and if by magic a home-baked birthday cake appeared after dinner. Abdoul had noticed when he checked our passports!
That we only had time to stay for one night.

Reviewed Mar 26, 2026This was, without a doubt, our absolute favourite experience in all of Morocco. The owner is one of the kindest, most genuine people we have ever met during our travels — going above and beyond in every possible way to make us feel truly at home. He sat down with us for long, fascinating conversations, shared the rich history and stories of the village, and personally took us on a tour of the area — making it an incredibly personal and memorable experience.
The food was simply outstanding — entirely homemade and largely homegrown, with fresh, authentic flavours that you just cannot find elsewhere. It was particularly magical to visit during almond blossom season, with the trees in full bloom painting the most beautiful scenery around the property.
What also made this stay so special is that you can genuinely feel that your money is going directly to the people who live and work here — a family deeply rooted in their community, proudly keeping Berber culture and traditions alive. If supporting authentic, local culture matters to you, this is the place to be.
The location is also ideal — sitting perfectly in the dramatic Dadès Gorge, it makes for a wonderful stopover between the Ouzoud Waterfalls and the famous Monkey Fingers hike, with stunning gorge scenery all around you
One practical thing to keep in mind: the roads leading to this area can be winding and hilly, and are not always in perfect condition — so do allow yourself more travel time than you might expect. That said, the drive itself is absolutely scenic and safe, as long as you take it at a relaxed pace. The roads are being improved, and the journey is absolutely worth every minute

Reviewed Mar 25, 2026We had a truly wonderful stay. The house is very cozy and welcoming, making it easy to feel at home right away. The homemade food was exceptional – fresh, delicious, and prepared with great care.
The host is an incredibly warm and genuine person, always ready to help with anything we needed. Beyond that, he is also a fascinating conversationalist and an excellent guide, sharing insights and stories that made our experience even more special.
We would definitely love to come back.

Abderrahim answered everything we asked him and taught us so much about his culture. He served us home cooked food, some was even harvested in his own garden.
He also did everything in his power to help us get through the tricky road.
The road from ouarzazate may be difficult.

Reviewed Mar 8, 2026Abdoul is incredible host as well as a person. We talked about culture, religion, travelling, ..anything you wanted, over nice mint tea and snacks. He went beyond everything to make our stay more comfortable, even though that was a challenge, since we were here during very, very bad cold weather conditions. Heating was waitng for us in the together with additional blankets. During the night, there was a power and mobile reception outtage because of the snow. When leaving for Ouzuoud waterfall, the road was blocked by a huge rock due the landslide. Abdoul went with us to the landslide and called on all sides, to inform authorities about the situation and to ensure we are able to drive away!

The owner is the most friendliest person we have met in Marocco. He did everything he could for us to have a lovely stay. The dinner is lovely, tasty and rich. Such is the breakfast with a lovely view.
If you have to chance to stay here: DO IT! You won’t regret it and will be regarded with a lovely stay and an incredible ride through the Atlas.

The rooms are simple but with everything you may need. In fact, that was the best night of sleep in the whole trip.
I would highly recommend staying here, it is worth the trip there.

Reviewed Jan 17, 2026Abdoul war überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Von dem ausgezeichneten Frühstück bis hin zu dem Tee, der uns sowohl nach Ankunft als auch nach unseren Wanderungen empfang, genossen wir unseren Aufenthalt in dem Tayda Gasthaus sehr.
Dank Wärmeflaschen, Heizstrahler und extra Decken waren auch die Temperaturen im Januar gut auszuhalten.
Zudem nahm sich Abdoul viel Zeit um uns kulturelle und gesellschaftliche Einblicke in das marokkanische Leben zu geben und alle unsere Fragen zu beantworten.
Eine sehr zu empfehlende Unterkunft im Hohen Atlas.

Reviewed Jan 16, 2026Abdoul‘s guest house ist ein vor nicht allzu langer Zeit fertig gestelltes Gebäude an einem Hang gelegen und direkt neben dem Haus, in dem er mit seiner Familie lebt. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und sehr sehr sauber. Das guest house verfügt über einen Gemeinschaftsraum, eine Dachterrasse und eine weitere Terrasse. Abdoul macht einem alles möglich, was man sich wünscht. Er betont immer wieder, dass er möchte, dass man sich wie zu Hause fühlt und sich mit jedem Anliegen an ihn wenden darf. Er widmet seine ganze Zeit dafür einem alles mögliche über das Berber-Leben zu erzählen und zeigt einem gerne ein Berber-Dorf und einen Berber-Markt. Seine Mutter bereitet alle Mahlzeiten selbst zu und verwendet dabei einige Zutaten aus eigener Herstellung. Es war so liebevoll und super lecker. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Dieser Ort ist eine absolute Herzensempfehlung. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Was uns hier geboten wurde ist mit nichts bisher in Marokko erlebten vergleichbar. Unserer Meinung nach könnte Abdoul viel mehr Geld für diese tolle Unterkunft und Erfahrung verlangen. Es ist auf jeden Fall viel mehr Geld wert als wir bezahlt haben. Toller Ort, tolle Erfahrung, tolle Menschen. Wir sind in der nächsten Unterkunft und wünschen uns jetzt schon zurück zu Abdoul.
Es gab nichts auszusetzen.

Reviewed Jan 11, 2026Das Haus liegt einem kleinen Bergdorf im Atlasgebirge. Da ich im Winter da war, war die Anfahrt nicht so einfach aber durchaus machbar.
Dir Haus ist wunderschön, die Zimmer sauber und es hatte Warmwasser zum duschen. Die Aussicht auf der Terrasse ist unglaublich!
Das Frühstück und auch das Abendessen bestand aus hausgemachten Speisen, sehr lecker und vielfältig. Mir wurde mehrmals Tee und marokkanische Snacks gegeben.
Am meisten hat mich der Gastgeber Abdul berührt. Er ist extrem höflich und hilfsbereit. Er hat mich wie Zuhause fühlen lassen. Er hat vieles aus dem Dorf und über die Kultur erzählt. Es war erstaunlich wie viel Zeit er sich für seine Gäste genommen hat. Ich war im Winter da und es war sehr kalt. Er hat mir eine Heizung ins Zimmer gestellt und jeden Abend eine Wärmflasche gemacht.
In meinen vier Wochen in Marokko war das mit Abstand der beste Aufenthalt! Ich kann es nur jedem empfehlen!
Vielen Dank Abdul , dass ich diese Erfahrung bei dir und deiner Familie machen durfte!Ich hoffen das ich eines Tages zurück kommen kann.

Reviewed Jan 4, 2026Die Anfahrt war etwas holprig, ist es aber auf jeden Fall wert. Abdul wartete bereits unten auf uns und half uns das Gepäck hochzubringen. Wir wurden empfangen mit Tee + Gebäck und waren von Beginn an gerührt mit welcher Gastfreundschaft Abdul uns begegnete.
Das morgendliche Frühstück war immer reichhaltig, üppig und bestand aus selbst gemachten Zutaten aus dem hauseigenen Garten. Zum Abendessen gab es Tajine aus Hähnchen oder Lamm und als Nachtisch immer frisches Obst.
Es war wirklich außergewöhnlich wie Abdul sich um uns gekümmert hat. Abends am Lagerfeuer erzählte er Geschichten aus seinem Leben im Dorf. Er zeigte uns im Rahmen einer Wanderung die Landschaft was absolut nicht selbstverständlich war. Das waren nur 2 der besonderen Momente die wir im Tayda Guest House erleben durften.
Unser 3 Tägiger Aufenthalt war das Highlight unserer Reise. Wir werden wieder kommen und hoffen, dass noch mehr Reisende die Erfahrung bei Abdul machen.

Der Gastgeber Abdul ist super freundlich und empfängt alle Gäste mit offenen Armen und man fühlt sich wie Zuhause.
Wir haben gemeinsam mit ihm Tee getrunken und er hat uns tolle Einblicke in die Lebensweise und Kultur der Einheimischen gegeben. Nirgendwo sonst, haben wir so einen authentischen Eindruck in Land, Menschen und Kultur bekommen.
Dabei spielte auch das sehr leckere und reichliche Essen eine große Rolle.

Reviewed Nov 14, 2025Cudowne miejsce, otoczone pięknymi górami. Przyjechaliśmy już po zmroku a gospodarz wyszedł po nas i pomógł nam wnieść bagaże. Przywitał nas herbatą i przekąskami. Pokój był bardzo czysty, łóżko wygodne. Bardzo dobre śniadanie z lokalnych produktów. Żal było wyjeżdżać.

Nous avons reçu un accueil des plus chaleureux autour d'un bon thé.
Abdul, notre hôte a été aux petits soins tout le long de notre séjour et a su nous partager son amour pour les montagnes de l'Atlas.
Si un mot devait résumer cette escale ce serait "générosité" , Abdul n'est pas avare de son temps et aime partager l'histoire de son village et sensibiliser aux défis auxquels les habitants de la vallée font face.
Générosité aussi pour les repas, des produits locaux en majorité, préparés par la maman d'Abdul et un service qui n'a rien a envier aux grands restaurants.
En résumé si vous êtes à la recherche de dépaysement et de belles rencontres je ne peux que vous conseiller cette adresse.

Reviewed Nov 8, 2025Everything was perfect. Abdul welcomed us with the best tea on our trip, as well as telling us all about his place and the village, the good and the bad. The dinner and breakfast were perfect as well, with mostly their own produce.
The view was very nice too and in the evening, it's a really quiet and peaceful.

We had a delicious couscous for dinner, homemade by the host’s mother, full of fresh vegetables and amazing flavor. In the morning, we enjoyed a great local breakfast, and even took a lovely walk by the oued nearby — very peaceful and beautiful. The hosts were warm and welcoming, making us feel at home. Highly recommended to experience true Moroccan hospitality!

L'accoglienza di Abdul e la sua famiglia è incredibile, la casa è pulita e lo spazio esterno ha una vista sul villaggio stupenda. La cena deliziosa e super abbondante preparata dalla madre e con i prodotti del loro orto così come la colazione. Se volete vivere un'esperienza autentica in un posto pulito e accogliente questa famiglia fa al caso vostro. Even though we arrived quite late and had no internet connection to update the host about it, they still made a dinner for us. We also had a great pleasure to share a traditional tea with the owner of this place Abdul and get all the possible answers to our curious questions about Moroccan culture. It is also worth mentioning that most of the products they were using for cooking meals for us were straight from their garden.
There was nothing negative to experience.

Malgré l'heure tardive dans l'après midi Abdoul nous a préparé un délicieux repas . Le logement très confortable est au calme avec une très jolie vue sur la Vallée et le village ;; Le repas du soir préparé par sa Maman était parfait et très copieux ainsi que le petit déjeuner .Il utilise beaucoup de produits de son jardin .Abdoul est une personne très accueillante , disponible et nous avons passé avec lui de très agréables moments .Il nous a fait découvrir la vie marocaine et nous a parlé de ses nombreux projets pour son village. C'est une personne très intéressante à l 'écoute des autres .
C est un lieu magique et c'est un de nos meilleurs séjours au Maroc ; A conseiller fortement

Potrete goderci il caratteristico the sul terrazzino immerso nella pace e nel verde,la colazione inclusa varia ed abbondante e su richiesta potrete gustare una cena buonissima.

Perfect food, service, nice and clean room, terrace with beautifull view in this new family house “home away from home”. Abbiamo girato davvero molto il Marocco, di lungo e in largo, ma se volete rimanere tra le montagne dell'Atlate in un luogo davvero delizioso, pulito, con lenzuola comode e l'accoglienza che va oltre la tipicità del luogo qui andrete sul sicuro. C'è un giardinetto esterno dove sarà un piacere consumare un pasto ma anche sorseggiare un buon tè alla menta mentre ci si gusta un paesaggio magnifico e per i momenti meno caldi c'è anche una bella sala interna. Inoltre un sonno tranquillo qui è assicurato. Doccia ovviamente calda. La colazione è di certo tra le migliori e varie trovate in Marocco e anche la cena davvero deliziosa, preparata con verdure del loro orto ma anche la carne era deliziosa.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2025Buscabamos un lugar donde alojarnos en la carretera N23 que cruza el Atlas. Veníamos de las cascadas de Ouzoud a las gargantas del Todra. La carretera está en algun tramo en obras pero se puede hacer y las vistas son increíbles. Recomendamos 100% el Albergue de Abdul. Nos hemos encontrado con una gran sorpresa. El alojamiento es senzillo pero no le falta de nada. Además de nuestra habitación con baño y colchones muy cómodos, hemos disfrutado de una sala con sofás decorada al estilo marroquí y una acojedora terraza donde hemos cenado un delicioso tajine. Se han adaptado sin problema a las peticiones especiales de los niños. Lo mejor del alojamiento ha sido poder compartir la tarde con Abdul, que nos ha acompañado al río que está en el pueblo y nos ha acogido con muchísima hospitalidad. Muy recomendable si queréis vivir una experiencia auténtica, disfrutando de un entorno muy especial y de un cielo por la noche lleno de estrellas

Reviewed Aug 28, 2025Calm and quiet place in the Atlas Mountains. Road is bumpy but so nice to drive there! The host is very kind and taking care of everything. He built a nice place with comfortable beds and a very tidy house.
The food was awesome! Vegetables from the garden, milk and products from the own cow and chickens, homemade bread,.. we’ve literally never eaten such a good omelette!!

Also dinner and breakfast was delicious. The best tahin that we ever had. Definitely the best accomodation that we ever had in Morocco. If you have the way near this guesthouse, definitely think about staying at least one night here. The stars are breathtaking from his terrace.
El trato fue estupendo, muy atento, pendiente de que nos sintiéramos cómodos. Trata su negocio con cariño y lo transmite a los clientes. Desayuno espectacular.
El acceso, aunque bajo a ayudarnos y nos subió las maletas, la subida hasta el alojamiento es un poco costosa.
La habitación no tenía cortinas, a primera hora de la mañana molestaba la luz.

House was warmed up when we arrived. Bed linen were soft.
This was definitely I've of the best experiences in Marrakesh.
For those who work remotely - the wifi is good and if you have time - please stay there and enjoy view, company and excellent accommodation.
It would be a great co-working area as well, so you can drive from marrakesh for a remote hackathon.
And then do some hikes as well - good for creative thinking)
Really don't like that I had to go away - place was perfect.

The mountain area is really beautiful (several hiking possibilities), the guest house is in a small mountain village, it was very comfortable and clean. The owner Mr. Abdoul was very hospitable. It was also some of the best food we ate in Morocco (both the dinner and the breakfast). Highly recommended.

Abdul was the best host, he welcomed us in the guest house as a family and the next day he guided us through a hike in the sorroundings, showing us small Berber villages around and explaining their culture. A truly unique experience!

Reviewed Mar 7, 2025After a long and beautiful drive through the mountains we arrived at this special place. Especially Abdul (the host) made it feel like a warm bath. He is a truly kind and passionate guy and he is nice to talk to. We learned a lot about the Moroccan/Berber culture.
It's a very well organized place with a great terrace and place to eat. The food (diner and breakfast) was the best we had in Morocco with a lot of local/homemade ingrediënts.
Abdul gave our Moroccan trip a little extra;)

The landscape around the house is stunning. There are plenty of hikes to do and it’s nice and quite for just enjoying a rest in beautiful nature. Abdul is super hospitable and always takes care of you if you need anything or if you have any questions. Super interesting to just talk to him as well.

We were truly amazed by the unique location, offering breathtaking surroundings. In the evening, we enjoyed a delightful homemade dinner prepared by the host’s family—a charming and authentic experience.
Heads-up: The road leading to the accommodation is still under construction, so it’s best to leave your Ferrari at home and opt for a sturdy rental car instead!

He is a gracious host who speaks English and French fluently and was very generously spending time with us. The guesthouse is new and sparkling clean, food (dinner and breakfast) was amazing and plentiful including organic home-grown vegetables and eggs by the family's hens. Best coffee in Morocco so far. Comfortable bed with extra blankets and Abdoul even made us a hot water bottle! :-) We enjoyed the morning sun on the terrasse with view of the village and river.
We only came for a stop-over but would have loved to spend more time!
Amazing family-run place - we definitely recommend coming here, meeting Abdoul and getting to know the Moroccan village life in a first-hand experience.

Reviewed Nov 9, 2024Abdul's guest house offers a beautiful view on the Atlas mountains as well as on the peaceful village with its historic stone buildings - the perfect place to rest after a long day of travelling.
The rooms are clean, spacious and have a private bathroom. Concerning the food, the host left no wishes unfulfilled. There was even freshly baked bread, which comes with every meal.
We felt safe and welcomed and strongly recommend this place to experience real Moroccon hospitality in Azilal.
