Het uitzicht was prachtig. Kamer was schoon maar wel verouderd, echt aan vernieuwing toe. Het buffet was heerlijk zowel s' ochtends en s'avonds. Er is boven een bar waar je kan poolen en chille.

The hotel has a direct connection to the Ramboda fall. It has amazing views, even from their pool and restaurant.

Their food was very bad (mainly the breakfast).

Washrooms, Phone, TV, should be much clean and equipment should be functioning properly.

Very old room. They didn't let me check out of the hotel till 7.30am as their bus driver had to come to take us to the main parking. Didn't allow me to walk either. Sad policies.

An outdated hotel on the edge of reality. Completely isolated from everything, even the usual transportation services like Pic Me and Uber don't reach Rambulla Falls. The corner room has been repainted, and some changes and embellishments have been made, such as the curtains! The bathroom, however, is cramped; the sink cabinet is dirty and full of mold, the shower floods, the hot water takes a long time to arrive, then suddenly becomes boiling hot, risking scalding. In short, it's small and cramped, so oppressive, especially given the inconveniences listed above. The first night we had dinner at the restaurant, and my partner felt ill; the Nasi goreng was dated! The staff is friendly, but obviously the managers take advantage of the isolation to offer chauffeured transportation at prices completely out of line. On one occasion, we truly felt cheated and treated like inexperienced tourists. They couldn't have known that my partner has been traveling all over the world for 40 years! In the end, we ran away after only two days and preferred to waste the other two. The corridors leading to our room reminded me of those in Shinnig.Lost Paradise

Beautiful views, but unfortunately very disappointing stay We stayed at Ramboda Falls Hotel for 2 nights as a group of 8, staying in 3 rooms. Unfortunately, our overall experience was quite disappointing. The hotel has an absolutely stunning location with amazing views of Ramboda Falls, which really seems to be the main highlight of the property. The pool also looked lovely, although unfortunately we didn’t get to use it as it rained throughout our entire stay. Sadly, the hotel itself is very outdated and is in serious need of renovation. Our rooms were tired, with broken flooring, and the general condition of the property did not feel like what we expected. My son was hoping to use the gym during our stay, but unfortunately the equipment was old, broken and left all over the place. It certainly didn’t feel safe to use, which was a real disappointment.

De locatie was magnifiek. Tussen de bergen met uitzicht op de waterval. Prachtig huisje met twee terassen. Heerlijk zwembad, goede menukaart en bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Dit is echt een topper.

Alles was geweldig.

Erg mooi uitzicht vanuit het losse huisje op de watervallen. Prima bedden, uitgebreid ontbijt. Het personeel heeft op ons verzoek een plek geregeld waar wij 's nachts de finale van het WK konden kijken.

La struttura è posizionata in un punto panoramico meraviglioso. Anche la piscina è molto bella. La colazione super abbondante e buonissima. Ne vale la pena!

It is also very close to the Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple, which makes it a convenient location for visitors. The staff were friendly, polite, and willing to help. However, communication between departments and staff members needs improvement. Better coordination and internal communication would enhance the guest experience. Management may wish to provide additional training to ensure smoother service and consistency across all departments. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend the hotel for its excellent location, natural beauty, and relaxing atmosphere. ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆

The location and cleanliness are the primary ROI of this place. You may also add the breakfast buffet actually, it was pretty good and had decent vegetarian options.

Even though it’s a fully functional resort hotel, room service ends at 8 pm and the room phones were not functional. Which they told us after we went back to the reception to enquire.

I stayed with my family. Loved the wonderful location and pool. Buffet was nice and reasonably priced. A nice place to chill and relax between the hills.

von der Hintertür aus kam ein Wind Durchzug, nachts hat man dadurch gefroren. Pool war sehr chlorhaltig.

It was one of our favorite stay at Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 The room was very comfortable, clean, very well equipped. No to mention the location and the view, it was absolutely amazing. The staff was very friendly

I did not enjoy the food that much, it was good but definitely not the best we had, I would say 7/10. It is worth to mention that food selection was really good though.

Dit wat grotere hotel ligt op een mooie locatie in de heuvels met een super mooi uitzicht. Je komt bij het hotel met een shuttlebus die een korte steile weg naar beneden rijdt. De ingang van het hotel zit op de 4e verdieping, het hotel loopt vervolgens naar beneden af. Onze kamers lagen op de 3e verdieping, en wat verder weg van de Ramboda waterval. Daardoor hadden we geen last van het geluid dat andere bezoekers in hun recensie aangeven. We keken uit op het (schone maar onverwarmde) zwembad en over het dal, met in de verte een andere waterval. De eetzaal ligt op de 1e verdieping. Het is een hele grote en iets ongezellige ruimte met lange eettafels. Het ontbijt en het buffetdiner is prima verzorgd voor 1 á 2 dagen. Bij het diner was een klein bandje dat langs de tafels kwam om verzoeknummers te spelen. Vanuit de eetzaal kun je de waterval zien liggen, en kun je ook een paadje lopen dat er naar toe leidt. De kamers zijn ruim. De bedden prima en de badkamer is mooi, met een ruime inloopdouche, met een glazen wand ter afscheiding van de rest van de badkamer.

Het hotel is groter dan we hadden verwacht, met meerdere eentonige gangen met kamers, en kent ook een iets massaler concept dan we hadden verwacht. Dit zie je vooral in de eetzaal.

Views, views, and views. The staff were so helpful, SMILY and i believe that was so releaving.. The room was spacious and clean, with a large bathroom and warm water with good pressure.. The beds were comfortable.. Breakfast was OK..

Food was spicy, and even the non spicy types gave me stomach aches. I believe most of the items aren't suitable for Middle East and African people. Hard to fined pick up or a vehicle from that location.

к стоимости указанной в booking.com с нас при оплате на месте взяли дополнительную комиссию в 18$ за одну ночь, не налоги, а именно комиссию, Комиссию booking переложили на нас, никогда с таким не сталкивался еще в ШРИ-ЛАНКе, что крайне не приятно (((.

Las vistas de la cascada son únicas, la comida del buffet estaba muy variada y bien preparada, el personal fue muy amable todo el tiempo.

Las vistas no son el hotel. Una pena las instalaciones, deterioradas, anticuadas, con humedad en las paredes, descuidado. El precio es inadecuado entre lo que se paga y lo que te encuentras. Las fotos no se aproximan a la realidad. Sería un hotel maravilloso por el paisaje y el contexto, pero esta muy descuidado.

The location of the hotel especially our room is fantastic! We enjoyed the majesty of the Ramboda fall directly from our rooms without any obstructions. Throughout the stay we amazed seeing and hearing the beautiful falls from our rooms and terraces! The short walk from the hotel to the foot of the falls is mesmerising! From one of our rooms, we also enjoyed watching another two falls in distance, which were also very beautiful. The staff are very helpful and friendly and made our stay unforgettable. The food was amazing with the mixture of western and Sri Lankan cuisine. We love to stay again in the same hotel same room during our next Sri Lankan trip.

Only issue was at times we struggled to open our room door but staff kindly helped us immediately whenever needed.

The majestic view from the Hotel, you cannot get this anywhere else. You can view 3 different waterfalls from the Hotel. The staff at the reception are very helpful with very personalised service. Little things like getting packed breakfast and arranging tuk-tuk (when Pickme is non-existent in Rhamboda) definitely made our stay very pleasant.

We didn't enjoy the food that much considering the exorbitant price. Apart from the buffet, the ala carte menu is disappointing. There is much room for improvement in terms of variety and quality (taste). The management should sample the menu themselves to assess the quality.

We were advised not to keep the doors or any items outside in the balcony since monkeys can enter the room. There should be a proper way to prevent them from arriving to the hotel.

Poor service standards, hygiene, and rooms are of pathetic standards. Zero maintenance in the room. Linens were poorly done. Doest deserve the cost.
