It was convenient to downtown Dublin.

It is more of a place to crash after drinking. Do not go here if you are expecting to get any rest or have any large luggage. You have to carry your luggage up a couple flights of narrow stairs. The noise level at night was pretty bad and we expected that being above a bar, but the noise level early in the morning is awful. The rooms are very small the one room you have to climb over a person in bed if you want to use the toilet in the middle of the night. The bed is literally against the wall on one side of the room with very little space on the other side

Mi pareja y yo pasamos 5 noches y nos encantó. La habitación es pequeña pero suficiente para dormir y dejar las maletas; el ambiente de los pubs de alrededor es insuperable, pero aún así se puede dormir al estar bien insonorizado (además de que nos dejaron dos pares de tapones, un detalle).

Mis únicas pegas fueron los cojines, que para mí fueron blandos hasta el punto de ser incómodos, y la ausencia de una mesita, que se echa en falta si algún día se come o cena en la habitación.

Great location, clean room with nice en suite bathroom. We knew it would be noisy, earplugs were provided. We managed decent sleep despite the music playing until 2.30am. Easy walking to all the interesting sights in Dublin.

The room is tiny, no where to put luggage. You need to be able to carry your luggage up/down steep stairs.

Toffe locatie, mooie badkamer en goede douche.

Zichtbare Schimmel in de kamer, wat je echt rook bij het binnenkomen. Heel muf en ongezond.

Locatie is top en de werknemers zijn enorm vriendelijk

Kamers zijn erg vochtig, maar dat is niet heel gek in een oud gebouw

It was loud, hot, humid. no fan. no AC.

No air conditioning was tough, only really because you had to have the window open which made the street noise even louder.

Location was excellent shower was very good and bed was comfortable

Estaba céntrico, limpio y fácil de encontrar, para un par de noches esta bien.

Mucho ruido al estar sobre un bar. Lo peor? A las 7:30 de la mañana se pusieron a hacer obras en el propio hotel… 7:30!!! Picando paredes o que se yo con taladros….

Very loud music from the next door bar

The only positive aspect was the location, right in Temple Bar, which is very convenient. However, the price was absolutely outrageous for what was offered. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it.

Unfortunately, my stay here was a very disappointing experience. It was extremely difficult to sleep at night, even when using the earplugs provided by the accommodation. The room was far too small, with terrible dampness on the walls, and the mattress was very uncomfortable. The window was old and poorly insulated, allowing both noise and cold air to come into the room throughout the night. Overall, the experience was poor and definitely not worth the price.

El local no informa previamente de lo que supone la zona en la que está para alguien que no ha visitado el país todavía. El ruido fue continuo, cuando no era la música hasta las 2:30 de la mañana eran los camiones repartiendo la cerveza por la mañana. La habitación estaba sucia y la ventilación es pésima por no poder abrir la ventana. El ambiente normal de la habitación es la humedad que se genera (abríamos la puerta del pasillo para poder ventilar)

The loudest environment I've ever had staying at a hotel. Was not aware of the noise level.

Great value for money in the centre or temple bar. Everything was clean for the most part and the bathroom was fresh and larger than expected. Had all the facilities we needed and the staff were very friendly in welcoming us in and even gave discounts on the drinks in the pub. Had live music from midday onwards and was a good atmosphere to be in. Would definitely recommend

Nothing significant to report. Opening and keeping open the window could do with looking at as well as doing something about the bit between the bed and window - although we didn’t drop anything behind it I could see it becoming an issue if someone did

Great location and amazing 30% discount of drinks in the bar when you stay.

It is very noisy but stick ear plugs in and after a few drinks you can deal with it

Das Personal war super freundlich und die Lage, wenn man Lust auf Bars hat optimal. Badezimmer war sehr sauber.

Das Zimmer war sehr klein, aber für 1-2 Nächte vollkommen in Ordnung. Gemessen an der Lage ist es sehr laut, mit offenem Fenster schlafen ist glaube ich eher nicht möglich aber das ist keine Überraschung und hat uns auch nicht wirklich gestört.

Excellent location and value (considering the prices of hotels in Dublin). Exceptionally clean. Considering the downside of it being loud, it exceeded in everything else.

I wouldn't call this a negative as you should know what you get when booking something in the centre of Dublin's party area. Incredibly loud for most of the night and clean-up crews early in the morning (make sure you are tired or drunk).

Gute Lage schön große Zimmer, freundliches Personal. Aber ganz wichtig man ist hier mitten im Centrum . So ist auch immer viel Trubel.

I liked the central location. It is in the middle of Temple Bar and close to Trinity concert venue where I was going during my stay. It is a noisy area, there's activity outside all day and most of the night but we knew this before booking so came prepared with things to help block out the noise. We weren't there for a peaceful zen getaway but the price drew us in and the location was perfect for our concert. The room was plain and simple (room 1) nice comfy bed and pillows, en-suite and tea/coffee making facilities in the room and appeared clean enough. It was grand for us for a one night stay after a feed of pints.

The only thing was that perhaps the room could do with a lick of paint (not a big deal) For anyone that's a light sleeper etc, you will have street noise late into the night and it starts quite early in the morning again with shops and bars restocking.

Gab leider kein Aufzug zum Zimmer, nur eine sehr steile Treppe, welche mit Koffer herausfordernd ist :)

Fantastic place too stay. Earplugs in the room were a nice touch but absolutely no trouble sleeping after a skin full. Brilliant staff, the place is kept running like a well oiled machine

Great stay at the Auld Dubliner, very friendly staff at the bar who helped with check-in, the room was compact but comfortable, all clean+tidy, great shower, and brilliant location in central Dublin. Very easy check-out aswell. Would recommend. Many thanks for a lovely stay :)

N O I S Y !!! This was offensively loud, with completely unsafe exterior. The rooms were tiny with no sound insulation, and ear-plugs were close to useless against the noise of people breaking bottles and yelling in the streets.

The room was probably 9sqm with the toilets and bathroom. There was not even enough space to open my suitcase

Superb location

There were quite a lot of hairs on the floor (not ours).

Convenient location, easy check in and the staff were really nice and helpful

A little noisy in the corridor through the night, but to be expected. It did wake us but we managed to get back to sleep. So no big issue, didn’t put us off and will definitely book again.

Estaba medio sucio, el personal no nos informó del descuento del parking y si preguntamos. No hay nadie para recibirte en el alojamiento

Жилье в самом центре. Если вы хотите тишины ,то вам точно не сюда. Под жильем бар, очень шумно. Мы уже были в курсе этого. Взяли свои беруши, но и в комплектации номера беруши есть. Постель и полотенца белоснежные, кровати удобные, сан узел шикарный, шампунь кондиционер в комплекте. Очень приятный персонал. Мы вещи привезли утром и нам не отказали оставить багаж до заселения.

Это больше рекомендация. Чайник есть, чашки есть, а ложечки чайной нет( есть только палочки для размешивания сахара). Положите чайные ложки, что бы кофе, сахар себе насыпать.

1. The location is in downtown, walking distance to downtown area and bus stops. 2. The washroom with bath is large enough. But the toilet seat was broken. 3. The building has relevant strong security.

1. The room is right above the bar. There are many bars surrounding the building. Very noisy every night we stayed up to 2am. 2. When we booked the room, the pictures and description shows three single beds. When we arrived, the room has 1 double, 1 single. The lady said they never have 3 single bed in a room. We should have kept the picture when booking. 3. The windows are dirty, seems no one wiping them for a long time. 4. The carpet is very smelly. 5. No reception nor sign for reception anywhere in the building.

Excelente ubicación, no es ruidoso por el lugar en que está. Baño exelente y amplio.Excelente atención!

Great location if you’re interested in staying in the Temple Bar area. Staff at the bar were friendly, stored our luggage until our room was ready and gave discount on food /drink.

Very loud - earplugs didn’t help. No reception desk. No facecloths. We also had ants everywhere in our room/belongings. Room was extremely tiny.

Das Zimmer war sehr eng für zwei Personen.

The location is perfect if you want a night out in Temple Bar and don't mind the noise. Earplugs are provided which is a nice touch. The room is clean with tea/coffee facilities. Nice bathroom with toiletries and good shower. Comfortable bed. Bonus is you get drinks at the bar at staff rates being a resident.

Room is quite small so be mindful if you have lots of luggage plus it's up a flight of stairs. The blind at window needs to be more of a blackout as the bed is right up against it and it's bright early!!

The availability of staff when we need to leave our luggage before the Check in. And, of course, The atmosphere.

It smelt the humidity and it was very loud, just on the top of the pub, but it is the nice object too.

Right in city center! Staff was helpful when i lost my case for my contacts and gave me some cups to use haha!

Tighe was very helpful as we arrived early. He placed our small bags in a safe place and was very decent when he booked us in/

The bed didn't allow us to get out to go to the toilet very easily.

Chambre confortable et très propre. Personnel extrêmement gentil. L'hôtel est en plein centre de Temple Bar, avec une atmosphère joviale et de la musique live à chaque coin de rue. Des bouchons d'oreille sont à disposition dans la chambre pour les plus sensibles au bruit. Nous avons bien dormi !

Une meilleure isolation sonore éventuellement, mais cela ne nous a pas empêché de dormir.

Top Lage, alles zu Fuß erreichbar! Sammy hat uns ganz herzlich empfangen, allgemein das Personal war sehr freundlich. Wir haben Rabatt in der Bar auf gezapftes Bier bekommen :) Das Bad war sehr sauber und das Bett sehr bequem.

Das Zimmer war sehr klein. Für ein, zwei Tage ausreichend. Aber alles darüber war echt anstrengend, da kaum Platz für Koffer und Gepäck war.

La habitación es bonita, nueva y limpia, las camas son cómodas, y tiene detalles como secador de pelo, hervidor de agua, etc. El baño muy bien también.

Si vas a salir por la zona hasta el cierre de los pubs es ideal, pero si no, si eres muy sensible al ruido, piénsatelo 2 veces! Las ventanas tienen pinta de ser las originales del edificio, son bonitas pero no cierran del todo bien, así que prácticamente no aíslan nada.

The noise level at all hours made resting or sleeping a challenge. If I had known this, I would have looked elsewhere.
