The owners and staff are kind and helpful. Breakfast is decent.

There is no air conditioning in the room, only a fan, which simply isn’t enough in the heat. At night, you’re basically left with two choices: keep the window closed and struggle with the heat, or open it to make the room more bearable and let mosquitoes in. This made it very difficult to get a proper night’s sleep. For a short stay it might be bearable, but during our seven-night stay this became one of the biggest problems. We stayed for seven nights, from the 10th to the 17th, and our room wasn’t cleaned during the entire stay. At the very least, it should have been vacuumed. The bed linen wasn’t changed either, which was particularly uncomfortable because the room gets so hot at night that the sheets can become soaked with sweat. Towels weren’t changed automatically — we had to ask whenever we needed fresh ones. There is also no refrigerator or TV in the room. The lack of a refrigerator is particularly inconvenient in such hot weather. The property looks quite close to the beach on the map, but in reality it takes around 30 minutes to walk there, and even longer on the way back. The walk itself isn’t particularly pleasant either. Before booking, I specifically asked about the lack of air conditioning and was told that it wouldn’t be a problem and that the temperature would be comfortable. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different. At one point, I even considered leaving and finding somewhere else to stay.

Everything was perfect, we loved the rooftoop and the pool. The food was very good and Clemetine and Mohamed were so so nice. Best place to stay in Tamraght.

The pool is too small to be classed as a swimming pool, but is really refreshing. And the bedrooms could do with a TV, and some tea making facilities, or a mini fridge. We needed to store insulin, the place is hot so having cold water close by is almost a must, and one day when I was quite ill a TV would have made all the difference. But minor complaints and easily rectified.

Die Unterkunft ist wärmstens zu empfehlen. Es ist ein echter Wohlfühlort. Alles ist super schön eingerichtet, die Dachterrasse ist wunderschön mit einer tollen Aussicht und der Pool perfekt zur Entspannung. Das Frühstück ist sehr liebevoll zubereitet und es fehlt an nichts. Ein besonders positiver Punkt ist die Freundlichkeit und Herzlichkeit der Gastgeber. Es wird sehr gut um einen gekümmert, dafür gesorgt, dass an nichts fehlt und Clementine und Mohammed erkundigen sich jederzeit nach den Gästen und geben hilfreiche Tipps. Auch die Surfstunde hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht und auch als Anfänger hat man sich sehr gut betreut gefühlt. Sehr zu empfehlen!

C'était un séjour parfait ! La chambre et les commodités de la surf house étaient adaptées à un séjour de plusieurs jours. Très bien situé pour visiter Tamraght et Taghazout !

La salle de bain mérite un petit rafraichissement ! Mais rien qui puisse vous démotiver à séjourner ici.

Quite a steep climb to get to

Lækker morgenmad, håndklæder til strand og drikkevand tilgængeligt (yoga udstyr til frit brug og delt køleskab). Lækker pool og fælles afslapningskroge. Personalet var så søde og fantastiske til at hjælpe og sørge for en god oplevelse!

Madrasserne var lidt hårde, og belysningen på badeværelset var en smule sparsomt. Placeringen er lidt langt fra vandet og spisesteder, da det ligger højt oppe i byen, men man får så til gengæld en fantastisk udsigt fra tagterrassen.

Exceptional guesthouse! Everything here is made with soul, and you can truly feel it - from the design of the apartments to the authentic breakfasts, the spotless facilities, and the friendly owners. The guesthouse is every bit as beautiful as in the photos. There's a pool area, a lovely terrace, charming balconies on each floor, and so many little details that make this house special. We also had excellent surf lessons and a wonderful dinner on the rooftop terrace. We'll definitely be back to this special place 🤍

I came to surf, eat, sleep and their Malibu Surf House is the perfect place to stay. both the owners Clementine and Mohamed, as property manager Charlotte were super easygoing and kind. The breakfast was amazing, the rooms were great. Looked exactly like the pictures. Everything was clean, neat and cosy. I said I will be back and I truly mean it!

Nothing really. The only minor ‘complaint’ I can think of is that the rooms on the street side are rather noisy. Cars and scooters driving by sound quite loud. There’s a school across the street. Which I didnt mind, but can imagine nor everyone likes to be woken up by playing children 8am in the morning.

Einfach Alles. Man durfte sich Strandtücher ausleihen, Sonnencreme wurde zur Verfügung gestellt und einfach der ganze Service war hervorragend. Das Haus ist wunderschön eingerichtet. Wir haben am Sonntagabend im Hotel gegessen. Uns wurde das Abendessen auf die Dachterrasse gebracht und das Tajine war das Beste überhaupt. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Die Strasse zum Hotel ist ein bisschen uneben ;-)

Séjour de 3 nuits très agréable. L’établissement est idéalement situé et d’une grande propreté. Clémentine et Mohamed ont été extrêmement accueillants et serviables, toujours aux petits soins. On s’y sent presque comme à la maison. Les petits déjeuners sont excellents, copieux et variés chaque jour. Mention spéciale pour les cours de surf proposés par Mohamed, super expérience. C’est sans hésiter notre plus bel hébergement du séjour. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Die Unterkunft an sich war sehr schön gemacht. Schönes Interieur und das Personal war wirklich freundlich!

Leider waren wir sehr unzufrieden mit den Betten. Diese sind steinhart und sehr klein… wir hatten schon nach der ersten Nacht starke Rückenschmerzen und man konnte sich kaum um die eigene Achse drehen, da es so klein war. Leider ist das Hotel auf in mitten von einer Baustelle wo links und rechts außer Rohbau nichts anderes ist…. Nicht gerade schön. Leider ist das Hotel auch sehr nah an einer Moschee, sodass man jeden Morgen um 5 Uhr aufgesteckt ist wenn der Gebetsruf war. In Agadir und Marrakesh (wo wir auch waren) war es viel viel leiser. Kaum wahrgenommen und man konnte durchschlafen. Hier leider nicht sodass man selbst mit Ohrstöpsel ständig wach wurde. Erholung und Urlaub war das für uns leider nicht…

Ich war 3 Nächte im Malibu. Die Einrichtigung war so stylisch schön, so viel Liebe zum Detail. Das Frühstück einfach so lecker, und abwechslungsreich. Die Dachterasse perfekt um sich zu entspannen, tolle Liegemöglichkeiten. Das Personal mega freundlich, Clementine gab Tips für Ausflüge, und täglich anwesend. Nur zu empfehlen. Danke

Our stay in Malibu Surf House was the most beautiful experience we had in Morocco. The attention to detail was incredible, the interior was beautiful and stylish, and everything was perfectly clean and well maintained. The breakfasts were also absolutely delicious. During our stay, we also took a surfing lesson with Mohamed. He was incredibly patient, understanding, and very professional. The lesson with him was a real pleasure and a wonderful experience. We also booked a sunset dinner at rooftop. Mohamed took great care of us and prepared everything perfectly. It was a fantastic experience and a wonderful way to end our trip. Clementine is very friendly and communicative, always ready to help, and she recommended many amazing places to visit in the area. We will definitely come back next year. We recommend this place with all our hearts.

Beautiful facilities and vibe at Malibu - would absolutely recommend. Hosts are really welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was great. Accommodation is slightly further up the hill, the walk isn’t unmanageable but if you can rent a car it’s probably a good idea. Really quiet area so no disturbances in the night. Beds super comfy.

We had a great stay at Malibu surf house. Clementine and Mohammad were amazing hosts, very friendly and helpful. Especially the surf lesson and the breakfast every day were highlights for us. I would definitely recommend this accommodation and would love to come back.

Clémentine und Mohamed sind unfassbar liebenswürdige und hilfsbereite Gastgeber - sie kümmern sich um alles und sind stets bemüht, dass es einem an nichts fehlt. :) Auch im Haus merkt man die Liebe zum Detail, die in allem steckt. Die Ausstattung ist wirklich wunderschön und alles ist sehr sauber sowie gepflegt. Die Dachterrasse steht einem jederzeit zur Verfügung und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls vielseitig, trotzdem typisch marokkanisch und lässt keine Wünsche offen, es variiert sogar leicht von Tag zu Tag. Wir können das Malibu Surf House nur empfehlen!

Leider ist das Haus sehr hellhörig, das sollte man ggf einplanen und mit Ohropax vorsorgen - es gibt keine Partys o.Ä aber die allgemeinen Geräusche (Reden, Treppe laufen, Toilettenspülung, Straßenhunde …) sind hörbar.

Clementine and Mohammed are amazing hosts, they give u the instant feeling of being home and being part of a community. They care about all of your issues. We can recommend the surf classes as well as the trips and the food (breakfast as well as dinner by Mohammed’s Mum).

Nothing - but u have to know, that the hotel is not directly at the beach and you have to walk 15mins - which was absolutely no problem for us.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut.

Ich gebe selten schlechte Bewertungen ab, aber diese Erfahrung war leider miserabel. Wir wollten ein Unterkunft am Strand, weswegen wir das Malibu Surf Haus gebucht hatten. Die Angabe, es würde direkt am Strand liegen, ist einfach falsch. Man läuft 25-30 Minuten zum Strand. Da ich Probleme mit langem Laufen habe, mussten wir dann zum Strand täglich Taxis nehmen. Die haben für 1 km 10€ verlangt. D.h., 20 € für einmal Strand und zurück. (Das ist übrigens für marokkanische Verhältnisse Wucher). Die Lage war zudem ganz oben auf dem Berg. Wenn man ohne Auto unterwegs ist, musste man steil bergauf über Stein und Schotter laufen - sehr unschön in der prallen Mittagssonne. Bei Einbruch der Dunkelheit war der Weg zum Hotel richtig unangenehm. Wir mussten dann immer zusehen, dass wir spätestens um 20 Uhr mit dem Abendessen fertig waren, um nicht im Dunkeln durch diese abgelegene Gegend laufen zu müssen. Was uns aber am allermeisten gestört hat, war, dass es zwei Baustellen direkt am Hotel angrenzend gab. Frühs um 9 Uhr ging der Presslufthammer los und hat einen aus dem Schlaf gerissen. Das ging bis 17 Uhr täglich. Den Poolbereich konnten wir also überhaupt nicht benutzen, obwohl wir die Unterkunft auch wegen des Pools gebucht hatten. Der Pool war schmutzig. Genauso wie die Sitzkissen im Poolbereich. Leider ist die Betreiberin überhaupt nicht auf unsere Bedürfnisse eingegangen. Sie behauptete, sie hätte erst kurz vor unserer Ankunft von der Baustelle erfahren. Im Inserat ist nichts davon erwähnt. Vorsätzliche Täuschung würde ich mal sagen. Wenn man im Urlaub ist, sucht man Ruhe und Entspannung. Beides konnten wir dort nicht finden.

Merci à Clémentine et Mohamed pour leur gentillesse. Nous avons passé un super séjour ! Ils font tout pour que vous soyez le plus à l’aise possible ce qui est très agréable. Leur proximité fait que vous vous y sentez directement bien. L’hôtel est situé à côté de tous les spots sympas pour manger et se balader.. Encore merci nous sommes rentrés avec le cœur serré mais, avec plein d’étoiles dans les yeux.

Besonders begeistert hat uns das Frühstück – phantastisch, mit einer tollen Auswahl an frischen, regionalen Produkten. Ein großes Dankeschön an Clementine und ihr Team: immer freundlich, hilfsbereit, jederzeit für Fragen da und mit vielen tollen Tipps für unsere Zeit vor Ort. Sie haben sogar den Shuttle vom Flughafen, Yoga- und Surfstunden für uns organisiert. Besonders praktisch war auch, dass wir unseren Checkout nach hinten verschieben konnten – so konnte ich am Abreisetag noch eine großartige Surfstunde bei Mohamed genießen. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen! 🌞🌊

Such a lovely space with generous and helpful hosts! The breakfasts, the terrace, the vibes… so good.

Had a lovely stay at Malibu Surf Lodge, the room was nice and spacious with a lovely hot shower that had great water pressure. Marie was extremely friendly and helpful throughout, she recommended a guy for car rental and he was great. It was a pleasure chatting to her.

Not a negative on Malibu Surf Lodge but worth knowing that the area has some development going on and hopefully the roads will be getting done soon. Bear in mind you will hear dogs barking at night if you are a light sleeper.

Marie & Omar are very warm and friendly hosts and made us feel very welcome and kind of at home (Marie was not in Morocco during our stay but helped us with everything from organizing transfer to yoga classes and regularly checked in on us). The B&B is very new, stylish and clean and has a nice terasse overlooking the village. They also have a brand new pool in their backyard and Omar prepares a delicious Morrocan breakfast every morning. We also really enjoyed surfing with omar and Medhi, who are both very patient and motivating surf instructors. All in all, best choice to stay in Tamraght!

Malibu Surf House was beyond perfect for my stay in Tamraght. The house is so beautifully build in Moroccan Handmade products & furniture that Omar explained so inspiringly! The owners are really open & caring. The breakfast was amazing & the location is perfect, everything to do by walking! I will come back for sure.

Very enjoyable stay with Maria and Omar. They were very helpful with any queries and communicated efficiently. Surf house is beautiful, well located, breakfast good.

Together with my girlfriend we stayed at Malibu Surfhouse for 4 nights. Eventhough not everything is completely finished (the pool), the overall style and interior of the building are really nice. Marie was amazing and provided us with a great welcome and a lot of good tips for the area in terms of restaurants, activities (like visiting paradise valley -> highly recommend to book via Marie) and much more. We would definitely book again when returning to Tamraght!

The house is very well decorated. Beautiful space. So many small details, doors are amazing! Marie and Omar are very helpful and flexible. We enjoyed breakfast, it was different every morning, everything was fresh and tasty! Room was super clean and comfortable. Close to the center.

Nothing serious to point at, just my personal feeling that I don't like bathrooms without doors but it's a traditional way in Morocco, you get used to it))

I stayed at Malibu Surfhouse for a couple of days and I had a really great time. Marie and Omar are both super friendly and very welcoming. They give you great recommendations on places to get food, coffee or to surf. The house itself it insanely beautiful and it's exactly what you can expect when looking at the photos and their instagram. I wish I could stay longer but I'm sure I'll come back again at some point. Marie and Omar, thanks again for everything and hope to see you again!
