Maryam, Hassan e Mohammad sono degli host incredibili e la loro mamma una bravissima cuoca!! La struttura è accogliente e casalinga: la colazione si fa tutti insieme alla stessa ora in terrazza, come a casa. È abbondante e deliziosa! La nostra camera con il bagno privato era semplice ma con tutto il necessario. Durante il nostro soggiorno abbiamo conosciuto molte persone, abbiamo riso, chiacchierato, e persino fatto una braciata in terrazzo! È possibile prenotare delle lezioni di surf con Mohammad con riscaldamento muscolare e supporto in acqua. Quando invece abbiamo affittato soltanto le tavole, Hassan ci ha accompagnato in spiaggia e Maryam e sua mamma ci sono venuti a riprendere! Abbiamo amato la cordialità e la disponibilità. Berber Waves e tutto il bellissimo villaggio di Tamraght ci hanno stregato! Non volevamo più andare via. Stiamo già programmando un altro viaggio per tornare! A presto 🧡

We stayed for 5 nights, and had such a great time. The staff is very kind and welcoming, and we instantly felt at home. Special mention for the amazing breakfast, so much variety, we were looking forward to it every morning. Will definitely come back next time we visit Tamraght !

Tolles Team habe mich gut umsorgt gefühlt. Empfehlung für female-solo-travellers! Habe mich dort sehr sicher gefühlt und man hat viele Möglichkeiten neue Menschen kennenzulernen, Touren zu machen und Marokko kennenzulernen.

Everything was good!

Het ontbijt was elke dag uitgebreid en vers in Marokkaanse stijl, super lekker! Verder vonden we de locatie goed, het zat dicht in de buurt bij leuke eettentjes en het strand was op 15 minuten lopen. Het dakterras was een lekker plekje om te relaxen. Jenny krijgt wat ons betreft een groot compliment! Zij gaf goede tips en adviezen, ondanks dat dat niet haar taak was.

De eerste 2 dagen werd er in de groepsapp van het hostel elke dag een bericht gestuurd met de activiteiten van de dag. Na 2 dagen stopten dit. Daarnaast konden we ook geen activiteiten meer boeken als we dit vroegen. De reden; het hostel was niet vol genoeg. Dit vonden wij erg jammer, aangezien er wel hing dat je bepaalde excursies via het hostel kon boeken zoals surf lessen, een dag trip naar secret valley en naar imsouan. Er werden ook geen alternatieven geboden of tips gegeven met als reden dat het hostel te leeg zou zijn. Jammer dus als je hier verblijft met weinig bezoekers, hier kun je namelijk niks aan doen. Er werd laat gereageerd door de mensen van het hostel. De douche was koud en de douchekop hing los. Pas de dag voordat wij vertrokken hadden we warm water.

Emplacement idéal dans le charmant village de Tamraght, encore protégé du tourisme. Maison tenue par une adorable famille : Maryam qui accueille les hôtes, sa maman qui prépare les repas et Hassan qui gère les activités et le surf. Tout le monde était adorable et accueillant : Sofia, Louiza, Mohamed et surtout Luke, tellement gentil et aux petits soins. Nombreuses activités proposées, bonne organisation, repas délicieux et variés, et surtout beaucoup de good vibes et de sourires.

J’ai passé un super séjour au Berber waves je recommande vivement je suis venue toute seule et j’ai fait de superbes rencontres - la famille est géniale. Je vous recommande vivement

The staff was incredibly helpful for which I'm extremely grateful, because i found myself in a situation where help was very much needed. The area was quiet and location was nice if you don't mind hiking up hill back to the hostel every day.

The breakfast was always cold and it would run out fairly early leaving none for guests who wake up later. There was unfortunately nothing going on at the hostel during my stay - no dinners, no yoga, no sandboarding, no bonfire (exc. one night), no way to socialize and meet people, so that felt very dissapointing because the hostel advertises differently. Maybe I just got extremely unlucky, but they still posted videos on social media as if there were things happening. The room as well as the bathroom didn't feel very clean. Sad to say but I had big expectations after my stay in a hostel in Taghazout, but Berber Waves made me regret changing cities.

I felt at home here. Deceptively simple words to describe a lovely experience of welcome, care, humour and really good home cooking. The bed was comfortable, the shower hot, the balcony realaxing, the breakfasts varied and plentiful. Quiet at night, peaceful feel. Hassan went above and beyond in helping me fix a dent in my car, running me there and back, talking with Karim there to set it up, all during Ramadan so with times adjusted to suit everyone. The whole family with a light humoured, helpful presence. I had a nice, spacious room to myself with a balcony and was able to work, with reliable WiFi and although some tiling work.needed doing while I was there, they adjusted the timing of any noisy parts for when I wasn't working. I met lovely fellow guests of different nationalities and had rich conversations. Jon the volunteer helper was really great, willing and helpful. I had a car so was able to visit Taghazout and went camping and hiking in the mountains which was stunningly beautiful. Tamraght is quieter than Taghazout and easy to get around in, find the essentials, with helpful shop.keepers. There's a surfer/yoga culture but it still feels like a local town. I went to Adams cafe for co-working and coffee and Tamraghtlife.com posts events, I went along to a 'killer pool' evening at Nomadbay down on the front. Bought really great dates from the Tuesday market. Loved it!

Chambre tout à fait confortable et correct. Le seul petit bémol est que la chambre ne possède pas d’accessoires essentiels tel qu’un miroir ou une poubelle. Le petit déjeuné se donne avec l’ensemble des clients sur le roof top. Le petit déjeuner est excellent ! Un petite déception vis à vis de la salle de bain. Nous avions expressément réservé une salle de bain privative mais malheureusement elle s’est avéré être à partager.

Le lieu est super, et on se sent super bien. Aisha, Maryam, Hassan et Mohamed sont super sympa, franchement c'est des supers souvenirs qu'il me reste ! Ne pas hésiter à franchir leur porte ! :)

Cette surf house est superbe! Ambiance chaleureuse, roof top top. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’accueil et le petit dej' fantastique.

La salle de bain privée de la chambre était passable. Pas de serviettes de transmises.

Amazing family vibe, beautiful rooftop

I stayed here with my two daughters and we loved it. it is so friendly, and Maryam is very organised and attentive. The communal breakfast on the roof terrace was fabulous. They have a hostel whatsapp group so you always know what activities are happening and what to join in with.

Our bathroom was small but the room was big and it was such good value for money that I can't complain.

Spacious, quiet, nice hosts and good vibes. Amazing breakfast included!!! And everyday their is a different dinner option. I loved the rooftop.

The private bathroom of our room was extremely smelly. At one point it got so unbearable that we kept on using the shared bathroom. We would not stay in this room again. Some things in the house need fixing.

The feeling of family. It’s just not a place to stay but it’s a place to connect with the staffs and others who’s staying in the hostel. The breakfasts were amazing and home cooked same goes for their dinner. They organise lots of activities for you to join with a price of course.

The shared toilets weren’t so clean.

This place is magic. Hessen and his family are very welcoming, hessen will teach how to surf and to live the real maroccan life. his mum will cook you the best homecooked typical maroccan meals that you ever had while always smiling to you. If you want the best experience in Marocco this is the place that you want to go and the people that you meet there will feel like a family in only a few days!

Super nice hosts - perfect breakfast on roof top, with amazing sea view. Hosts was very helpful and arranged trip to secret valley for us. He arranged also private taxi to Agadir.

Super warm ontvangst van de familie. Er werd meteen aangeboden of je mee wilde eten en zo ging dat elke dag. Ook echt top geregeld met de surflessen/rentals, er werd altijd met de groep gecheckt waar behoefte aan was. We hebben een fantastische avond gehad met oud en nieuw, Hassan heeft een Berber bandje geregeld en het was feest op het dakterras met een vuurtje erbij. Ik kan het iedereen aanbevelen!

Die familiäre Atmosphäre und das gemeinsame Frühstück!

Ich habe insgesamt 4 Nächte im November in diesem Hostel verbracht und hatte eine schöne, entspannte Zeit dort! Die Familie, die das Hostel führt, ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit! Man fühlt sich sehr willkommen und wie zu Hause! Ein Highlight für mich war die Dachterrasse, die super groß und mega schön ist! Von dort aus hat man einen Blick aufs Meer und Tamraght. Es gibt gemütliche Sitzmöglichkeiten, eine Hängematte, eine Feuerstelle, Sportequipment - einfach alles, was das Herz begehrt. Das Hostel bietet fast täglich Aktivitäten an, an denen man teilnehmen kann und ist im Allgemeinen sehr bemüht Reisende zusammenzubringen. Ich habe z.B. an einem gemeinsamen Dinnerabend teilgenommen und da ist man super in Kontakt mit anderen Reisenden gekommen (kommt man aber auch durch das tägliche Frühstück).

Dafür kann niemand was, aber man sollte wissen, dass aufgrund des Baus des Hauses, die Wand mit der Tür vom Dorm nicht vollständig geschlossen ist. Es gibt da sozusagen dekorative "Löcher" (ich weiß nicht wie ich es besser beschreiben soll). Ich kenne das auch von anderen Hostels in Marokko. Jedenfalls ist dadurch alles sehr hellhörig, worauf man sich einstellen sollte oder einfach Ohrstöpsel mitnehmen sollte :)

We were there as a family of 7 people and we really enjoyed everything. I would especially like to highlight the food they made for us there, it was delicious. We had breakfasts included in the price, but we bought dinners extra. Personal there was really friendly and kind. Comunication with them wasn´t problem at all. They took care of us throughout the entire stay. At the end I would say that we were satysfied with everything.

There isn´t anything I would say that we didn´t like. Yes ofcourse, there were some misunderstandings but nothing terrible.

The Berber surf house is located a few walking minutes from the city center of Tamraght, with a beautiful roof space and terrace that allows views over the town and ocean. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodated what was needed. My partner was surfing one day with them and could conveniently get everything needed for his session, incl. transportation, from the hotel. A lot of activities are offered, such as yoga or surf trips to other cities (which we didn't do because we had our own car). The breakfast, served every day at 9:30, is absolutely superb.

We booked a room with private bathroom, which is located at the top of the house - with beautiful views outside our window -, however, directly located next to the reception, kitchen and common space. In the evening people were finding together there and talking late into the night, while breakfast preparation started early. So it was noisy at all times and our sleep was partially disturbed. In the bathroom, hand soap would be a nice addition, as well as space to leave down clothes / luggage and a second bed side table.

The best breakfast you'll ever have at the friendliest family run hostel. Excellent rooftop. Nice quiet location within Tamraght but strong sense of community within the hostel. A true gem.

You are welcomed in a family home and become part of it. Very relaxed vibe. Aisha makes an awesome breakfast. Miryam keeps everything in check at the reception and Hassan is there to take you on for a great surf session or other activities.

I would like a bit more privacy in the dorm like a bunk with curtain. But still would very much like to return to this hostel.

Amazing hosting, amazing people they are so kind and friendly, they made me feel like Family The roof top helps socializing with other packpackers I highly recommend it to solo travelers.

Skvělé snídaně, které se každý den měnily. Majitelé vytváří komunitu cestovatelů a surfařů. Navíc maj školu surfingu a půjčovnu, takže nemusíte řešit , kam vyrazit ale majitel Vás vezme ráno na pláž, kde jsou vlny a zjistí veškeré vybavení. Naprosto předčilo mé očekávání a všem doporučuji :)

The rooftop is amazing! The surf house has an amazing vibe and the family who runs the place is great. They help you with everything you need and really take there time to make your stay extra-ordinary. Also the breakfast is the best!

Le petit-déjeuner était vraiment pas bon. Thé froid, ça ne ressemble pas du tout à un Thé à la menthe, mais plutôt un thé noir. Pas d'eau, ni jus sur la table, il a fallu insister pour avoir du café. Les gâteaux et omelettes proposés étaient pas du jour (pad du tout frais) Pour le peut que j'aie manger, 15 mn après le repas j'ai fini au toilette et passé une sale journée, puis le lendemain, ça ne s'est pas amélioré, j'ai dû faire appel à un médecin, qui a diagnostiqué une intoxication alimentaire😡 puis sous antibiotiques pendant 7 jours, ça a gâché mes vacances. Également, la jeune femme qui s'occupe de l'accueil, voit le médecin sortir de la chambre. N'a pas demandé à un moment, si il y avait un problème !

What a wonderful stay! Abdel was very kind and attentive throughout our time there. We were warmly welcomed by Zacarias, who prepared a lovely tea for us upon arrival. We felt truly taken care of. Thank you for the hospitality!

Personnel très accueillant, le tajine fait maison est super bon, la terrasse est super. La chambre individuelle avec le balcon était top.

Le matelas était malheureusement pas confortable, et il faut savoir que si vous êtes à pied vous êtes assez loin de la plage.

Endroit calme, personne sympathique.

Manque des besoin primaire comme un miroir dans la chambre, couvert et nécessaire cuisine, manque poubelles, serviette et autres. Attention certain chambre non pas de salle de bain privatif. Sinon pour aller à la plage ou autre faut une voiture assez loin.

I am extremely happy and grateful I found Bereber Waves Surf House. They hosted me as one more member of their family, inviting me to spend the day with them at the beach and surfing with all their equipment. They even opened their family kitchen to me for dinner, sharing the table with them to eat delicious Moroccan homemade food. A pity I don't speak amazigh, but still, my heart was full. They are the loveliest Moroccan family you will find in the area of Agadir. The best is with no doubt, each of them, but also, the house is incredibly beautiful and well located, super clean and bright, with a stunning rooftop terrace perfect to chill and watch the sunset. I loved staying there, and for sure, I will be back. Thank you, Maryam, Hassan, Mohamed and Aisha!! <3

It was comfortable and had a beautiful rooftop. The owners were fantastic and easygoing. We felt no judgment at all and we also met interesting guests. Breakfast was also nice.

Beautiful rooms, probably the best view in Tamraght from the rooftop, friendliest staff ever, and an amazing Moroccan breakfast every morning. Loved that we could rent surfboards here and got a ride to the beach when we wanted to surf!!

Nice family-owned hostel. Good vibes and lovely people. Breakfast is good. Bed was comfortable, my room with a balcony was nice and big. 10-15min walk from the main road. Sea view from the roof terrace/chill out area.
