Reviewed Aug 29, 2026A cosy and perfectly equipped chalet We spent two nights in this lovely chalet and everything was perfect. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, warm and cosy, with all the modern comforts and everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The hosts were extremely kind and gave us lots of helpful advice about places to visit in the area. We felt very welcome. A fantastic place to stay near Maum that we would highly recommend!

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026De locatie is perfect- heerlijk rustig en zelfs een kleine waterval en riviertje waar de kinderen heerlijk gespeeld hebben. Alles was aanwezig in het huisje. De douche heeft niet veel kracht maar wel functioneel. Alles was zeer netjes en schoon. Leuk overdekt terras. Zelfs een wasmachine en aparte droger. De host was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam!

Reviewed Jun 23, 2026Angenehme Hütte, sehr sauber, weiße, saubere Bettwäsche und viele Handtücher. Auch die Küchenausstattung ist in Ordnung - keine zerkratzte Beschichtungen bei den Pfannen und Töpfen, wie so oft der Fall ist.
Wenn es regnet ist etwas laut, wegen dem Blechdach. In der Hütte gibt es kein WLAN.

Nous y sommes restés que deux nuits mais nous y serions bien restés bien plus longtemps ! A recommander vraiment. Merci à nos hôtes !

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Le chalet est neuf, il y a tout ce qu’il faut, très bien équipé et beaucoup d’espace. La petite cascade juste à côté est bien appréciée, mais attention aux enfants en bas âge ! Nous n’avons manqué de rien.
Nous avons tout aimé, mais comme nous avons eu plusieurs fois de la forte pluie, cela fait beaucoup de bruit sur la toiture surtout la nuit pour dormir…

We were a bit surprised that there was no cable TV, but we found plenty to keep ourselves busy.

Reviewed Sep 28, 2025Die Nähe zur Natur war einfach schön. Den Bach zu hören und die Vögel zu beobachten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und haben es genossen zusammen zu kochen und Ausflüge zu unternehmen.
Wohl hätte man mit Verbindung zum Smartphone TV sehen können, doch dies war uns zu aufwändig. Schlussendlich war es uns auch egal, wir saßen öfters auf Veranda und quatschten.

Reviewed Aug 2, 2025Das Haus liegt urig, etwas einsam und gefiel uns sehr gut, u.a. durch das Holz. Es war sehr gemütlich und hatte alles, was man benötigt. Des Weiteren war es blitzsauber.
Dass es kein WLAN gibt, wird in der Beschreibung nicht erwähnt und diese Erwähnung ist m.E. heutzutage ein Muss. Ich wollte zwischendurch arbeiten und konnte es dadurch nicht.

Reviewed May 5, 2025Exceeded our expectations. Location is very strategic to explore both Galway and Mayo sides. It is also secluded - we enjoyed the quiet downtime after a busy day of excursions and sense of privacy.
The cabin has no WiFi, so come topped up with your data. Otherwise, highly recommend this place.

Reviewed Apr 21, 2025Gorgeous cabin within a gorgeous setting. It felt private and was really quiet. Host very accommodating. Small shop down the road had all the essentials, which is handy. The host were very thoughtful in offering us to take the kids to see their horses. Great location to base yourself from. Plenty for families to do, wild lands, killary fjord boat cruise. Connemara National Park. You can also visit galway City. We hope to visit here again. Would highly recommend.

Reviewed Mar 15, 2025The cabin is the perfect spot to visit Conamara, Galway, Westport and even Achill Island. It is a great starting point for hikes and walks as well as scenic drives. The accomodation has everything you need for a comfortable stay: dishwasher, washing machine, coffee and tea makers and much more. The beds are comfortable and the living room area is cosy. The fact that there is no WiFi was no problem for us as there was good data coverage. It is a quiet accomodation and the waterstream behind the cabin made it even more cozy. I can only recommend and most likely be back here, thank you! 😊

You have a small shop at 3 minutes by car : you can find food and other useful products. The geographical situation is perfect to visit Connemara area. Don't hesitate to book !

It is well equipped for a longer stay and is very cozy because it is all wood. Everything was clean and tidy. We really enjoyed our stay.

Reviewed Jun 23, 2024Everything had been thought of by Pauline and a great welcome by her shortly after arrival. Delighted to meet the little person the cabin was called after too! It was so peaceful and a good base for seeing the area. Transport definitely required. Being a wooden cabin, the "musical sounds" of the beams expanding and contracting is an interesting addition but one you get used to very quickly. I'd highly recommend this hidden gem.
