Een fantastisch verblijf gehad bij een veel te lieve mevrouw, die alles voor je wil proberen te regelen en een heerlijk (mega uitgebreid) ontbijt maakt! Meteen verwelkomt met thee en koekjes, je kan terecht met al je vragen en de mevrouw doet er alles aan om je verblijf fijn te maken.

El desayuno espectacular. Todo increíble. La amabilidad de los anfitriones, fuimos de excursión a las 5 de la mañana y nos hicieron un desayuno para llevar. La habitación tiene aire acondicionado, todo súper limpio. Recomiendo 100%

Heel vriendelijke en lieve eigenaren. Zij spreken niet zo goed Engels maar zijn erg bereid om te helpen. Op verzoek koken zij een heerlijk diner voor je in de avond. Je kunt (gratis) gebruik maken van 2 fietsen. De locatie is op loopafstand van Lions Rock. Zeer goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding.

De locatie ligt aan een drukke weg maar dat geldt voor veel locaties in Sigiriya.

De eigenaren waren ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij. Ondanks het gebrekkige Engels altijd geïnteresseerd in wat we gaan doen of als ze ons ergens mee kan helpen. Ontbijt was erg riant en smaakvol. Elke dag weer andere opties en vers bereid. Kregen het nooit op zo veel! Ook in de middag kwam ze langs en vroeg als we koffie of thee wouden en kwam vervolgens met Sri Lakaanse lekkernijen langs. En dit helemaal gratis. Zo ontzettend gastvrij! De kamer was simpel maar prima. Bedden lagen goed en de douche was uitstekend! Wel even wachten totdat de boiler opgewarmd is. Locatie is wat afgelegen, maar het is dichtbij de lions rock en genoeg restaurants op loopafstand! Zeker een aanrader.

Everything..... good host..... big room ..... nice atmosphere..... good loxation. And they offer coffe with buscuits . Cake . Pastry as we reach to the home stay...... and next morning three is plenty of breakfast.... we cant even complite half of them. Low price but very high value. Highly recommend 👌

Google Reviews Loved, loved, LOVED, our experience at Kassapa Homestay! The room was spacious, clean had fan and aircon. The bathroom was also spacious. I had the best quality sleep in weeks. The environment was quiet, the beds were firm which I love for my back. The pillow was just right. I am a picky sleeper. Beds that are too soft makes my back sore. This was the right place for me. The hosts were very kind, warm and hospitable. Our eyes popped wide open as more and more food came for breakfast! Each authentic and tasty Sri Lankan home cooking, fresh from their farm, which is a leisurely stroll from the breakfast table. They bring out the breakfast once you are seated to avoid the cute little monkeys from dropping by, snatching your breakfast back up the coconut trees! Yes, I would come back again!

Hele lieve eigenaresse! Onwijs goeie host, en heeft het allemaal fantastisch geregeld. Heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt, en heeft ook 1 avond een heerlijke curry voor ons gekookt.

Очень отзывчивые хозяева. Нас быстро заселили и даже принесли чай. На следующий день был великолепный завтрак, очень сытный, со смузи и национальными блинчиками и много чем еще. Нам организовали тук-тук до горы в 5:20 утра. Помогли нам сесть на нужный автобус на следующий день. Есть кондиционер и вентилятор в номере. Близко к Сигирии. Спасибо большое хозяевам за теплый прием! Нам очень понравилось.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Kassapa Home Stay. Die Atmosphäre ist unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und familiär! Jeden Morgen gibt es ein umfangreiches und sehr leckeres Frühstück mit leckeren selbstgemachten Sachen und viel Obst. Bei jeglichen Fragen bekommt man super Tips und Unterstützung. Sehr empfehlenswert ist die durch den Bruder des Gastgebers gebuchte Safari im Kaudulla Nationalpark mit netten Guides. Wir haben uns hier unglaublich aufgehoben und willkommen gefühlt und können die Unterkunft nur wärmstens weiter empfehlen:) Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt!

Sehr hilfsbereiter Host, der uns für die Sonnenaufgangswanderung ein Tuktuk und für den Minneriya Nationalpark einen super Fahrer inkl. Pickup organisierte. Sehr feines und üppiges Frühstück. Auf Wunsch kann man Abendessen bestellen. Die Unterkunft ist zentral, Bad mit Warmwasser. Unsere Trinkflaschen konnten wir jeweils auffüllen lassen.

Tienes todo lo q necesitas. Cuando duermes un home stay lo q quieres es q esté limpio y este no nos defraudó. El desayuno era tipico cingales y abundante, no lo pudimos terminar ningún día. La mujer y el hombre q lo llevan son encantadores y han estado muy atentos desde q pusimos un pie dentro. A 10 minutos de pidurangala y a 3 de lion’s rock. El 9’2 q tiene de puntuación refleja muy bien la realidad. Muchas gracias kassapa, hemos estado como en casa.

Todo! Alojamiento excelente. La familia es encantadora! Nos recibieron todos los días con zumos naturales recién hechos y el desayuno es abundante y está muy bueno. La habitación es espaciosa, con aire acondicionado y ventilador, camas cómodas y baño con ducha con agua caliente. Tenía hasta gel y champú. Totalmente recomendable!!

For a very, very good price, you get everything you need, and nothing you don’t. Good air conditioning. Clean. We had breakfast served on the patio space, and it was generous sized and tasty. The family running the place are lovely. Maybe 15 min walk to Lions rock.

We struggled to get the instant hot water in the shower working. But, it was such a warm night it didn’t really bother us.

Very warm welcome with a juice and cookies. Owners are very sweet and are willing to do everything for you. We needed a tuktuk and in two minutes time we had a driver. (who took us around Sigirya for the duration of the stay). The room is simple but with the things you need. A bed, towels, musquito net, airco and a basic bathroom with warm water! Breakfast was amazing! Too many things to chose from! And everytime we came back from an activity or walk they welcomed us with a fresh juice. If you like to feel more a local this is the place to be!

The host was super friendly and helpful 🙌🏽😊 the location is perfect as you can walk to the main attractions. Also you may be able to hear or see elephants 🐘 during the evening. Breakfast was spectacular, very good portions - I love it! It also has hot water in case you need it 😅

Every guest will be amazed by the breakfast here. We traveled to Colombo, Ella, Galle, Anudharapura, Mirissa, etc. in Sri Lanka. The breakfast here was the best breakfast in Sri Lankan accommodation. Various fruits, rich dishes, fresh fruit juice and coffee, etc. We were full just from breakfast. The welcome juice and snacks were also fantastic! And most of all, the friendly owner couple made my stay here comfortable. I will definitely recommend my friends to book this place. Tip: If you need a tuk-tuk at 5am, ask the owner in advance and he will make the reservation for you.

The location is nearby the restaurants and I can see wild birds behind our room. There are little frogs that was in our washroom that is so cute. The bathroom smells good.

The hosts here are amazing and beautiful people. We were provided with a huge breakfast (included in the price) that changed daily including a variety of fresh fruit, pancakes, omelette, coconut rotti, pastries, noodles, toast, jam with Tea, coffee and juice. Upon arrival and each afternoon we were offered tea and juice. We originally booked for two nights but within a couple of hours being there we loved the place and extended by another night. We came back saturated from climbing Pidurangala rock and our hosts set up washing lines under shelter for the night and then the next day transferred them to a line out in their rice field in the sunshine. There are two rooms that are in a dwelling seperate from the main residence which were extremely clean and comfortable. Our family rented out both rooms and it felt extremely private and like it was our own little slice of Sri Lanka. Air con and wifi were great and the hot water, clean sheets,towels and toiletries were very much appreciated. Do yourselves a favour and book this place NOW!

The property is in a perfect location for those visiting dambulla or Sigiryia. It’s 5-10 mins from the lion rock and Pidurangala, and there’s loads of cute little cafes and restaurants nearby.
