Reviewed Jun 22, 2026We had a wonderful stay at this lovely one-bedroom apartment in Belmullet while visiting our daughter in the Gaeltacht. The host couldn't have been more friendly, welcoming, or helpful throughout our stay and even kindly allowed us a late checkout, which was greatly appreciated. We were greeted with homemade drizzle cake and fresh milk in the fridge, along with tea and coffee provided for our stay. The apartment was comfortable, well-equipped, and had some thoughtful extras, including dry robes, which were fantastic after visiting the tidal pool just a 4-minute walk away. The location is excellent. The town centre is only a 6-minute walk, with plenty of shops nearby for lunch and essentials. We had a great night in McDonnell's, where the staff were incredibly friendly and the live music was brilliant. We only planned to stay for a couple of drinks but ended up spending the whole evening there! We also enjoyed a few games of pool with our daughter in O'D's. We had a lovely meal at the Talbot Hotel, and the banoffee dessert was the best I've had in years. Overall, this accommodation exceeded our expectations. The warm hospitality, thoughtful touches, and fantastic location made for a perfect stay. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Belmullet and would happily stay again.

Reviewed May 19, 2026Alles! Die Lage, die Austattung, die Gastfreundschaft. Ailish war die beste Gastgeberin die wir in diesem Urlaub hatten. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt neben dem Tidal Pool und Ailish hat uns mit allem ausgestattet was wir brauchten, um darin schwimmen zu gehen. Wir hatten die beste Zeit und kommen wieder.

The hosts couldn’t have been more friendly or generous, nothing was too much of an ask, it really felt like a home from home.

Reviewed Mar 28, 2026A gorgeous homely little space, nice chilled area with couch and tv to relax and watch something, dining table for meals, kitchen with all the items you need including airfryer, fridge and hob to cook away to your hearts content. Beautiful homemade scones awaiting our arrival which were really appreciated. Very tastefully decorated in the perfect location close to town. Very friendly girl met us to let us in and assured us to come find her or message her if we needed anything

Reviewed Aug 30, 2025Accommodation and facilities: Very bright, open-plan and well-designed apartment. Kitchen equipped with large fridge, freezer compartment and all amenities, such as air fryer, microwave and coffee machine. Bathroom is sufficiently large with many small, nice details such as pleasant toiletries and more than enough towels. The living room offers sufficient space, and the small table provides space for eating. Wet items can be dried outside on the clothesline. It would be nice to have a few hooks in the apartment to hang jackets or similar items. Location: Only a few minutes walk to the town centre, where there are more than enough bars, restaurants, bakeries and shops. A few steps to the tidal pool at Belmullet, which is a real highlight. Basically a logistically smart place if you want to explore the Belmullet peninsula and the north of Mayo. Landlord: Irish hospitality and warmth are very important here and are lived out in practice. Whether it's tips for excursions, recommendations for restaurants or information that only locals can provide, no wish is left unfulfilled here. If you want to go to the tidal pool, you will be provided with all the necessary dry robes and surf towels. We would definitely book it again.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2025Stille locatie in een mooi rustig plattelandsdorp met alle voorzieningen in 5 minuten aanwezig. Bakker, supermarkt en diverse pubs met eten en live muziek. En 2 grote supermarkten buiten het centrum.
Geen groot appartement. Kleine slaapkamer en badkamer. Geen uitzicht vanuit de woning op de kust. Wel vanaf een prachtig zitje in de tuin.

The scones on arrival were a lovely touch. The apartment is right on the water in Belmullet, and only a few mins walk to the town centre - perfect location.
