Staircase access smells bad due to vent from neighbouring restaurant. As others mentioned due to proximity to bar opposite it can be very noisy at weekends. Apartment needs a refresh

Reviewed Apr 13, 2026Very dated and beds uncomfortable. maybe ok for young groups / stag and hens etc. But did not stay in it once i saw apartment i checked into the hotel down the road. no heating on arrival a socket broken on the wall. Very poor and disappointed, Left immediatly and did not stay there as mentioned.

An extra set of keys should be available if 4 people are staying there. We had to coordinate our returns with whoever had the key. Its an easy fix.

Reviewed Oct 5, 2025I really enjoyed my stay at this apartment! It was clean, comfortable, and cozy! It had a perfect location in town with lots of parking, shops, restaurants, etc available within walking distance. The view from the apartment was lovely, and you could enjoy a walk along the water in just minutes. The host, Eamon, was very kind and responsive. The Prosecco and chocolate were welcoming touches upon arrival too. I look forward to another stay in this charming place!

Reviewed May 5, 2025Amazing location, all amenities provided, Eamon was a pleasure to deal with. A definite 10/10. View from the apartment is spectacular, outdoor furniture provided to sit and watch the boats. McDonals pub is straight across the road, a pub with an amazing atmosphere, Landlord is an absolute gentleman and greets you with a handshake. Make sure you visit.

A shower mat would have been a safety plus but I improvised with a hand towel.The TV was difficult to put on but I persevered and got there

Looked a bit neglected from the outside. Also the outside communal door wasn’t very secure. Needed proper door stoppers inside the property instead of bits of cardboard. Floors very dusty in the bedrooms. Needed a sweep and a mop!

Reviewed Apr 23, 2023Eamon is a great host! So accommodating and friendly and gave incredible recommendations for food and sights. The flat is in a great location right on the high street close to shops, restaurants and absolutely everything you could need. The view from the apartment is stunning and the flat has everything you could need to enjoy a holiday.
No issues with the property at all but as it’s on the main high street the live music and noise from the bar McDonnels) across the road can be loud and goes on late but it sounds like great fun to go and have a night out.
