Geräumiges Zimmer, gutes Bad, schönes großes Bett, viele Steckdosen für Stromanschluss, kleiner Tisch mit Wasserkocher, Regal für Kleidung und Utensilien. Klimananlage gut positioniert und Ventilator auch. Sehr schöne Terrasse zum Sitzen, mit wunderschönemGarten. Kleiner Kiosk gehört dazu und kleines Restaurant mit sehr gutem Essen. Der Strand ist sehr nah und nicht überfüllt. Die Inhaberfamilie war sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit insbesondere Charmali, die auch für die Küche zuständig ist und Savindu auch.

Der Gasgeber und die ganze Familie waren super nett und hilfsbereit. Sie haben sogar auf Anfrage ein wunderschönes Dinner am Strand bei Sonnenuntergang für meine Freundin und mich anlässlich unseres Jubiläums organisiert und das zu einem super fairen Preis. Das Zimmer war groß und das Bett super bequem, es gab eine kleine Terrasse auf der man sich entspannt hinsetzen konnte. Und das Essen war wirklich top und auch zu absolut fairen Preisen. Man konnte sich das Essen sogar aufs Zimmer bzw. auf die Terrasse bestellen was wir des öfteren genutzt haben. Die Familie betreibt auch einen kleinen Supermarkt bei dem man sich mit allem nötigen eindecken kann was man braucht. In dieser Unterkunft ist alles da was man braucht. Kann ich absolut weiter empfehlen. Vielen Dank für alles!

We loved the hosts, they were so friendly and helpful! They helped us get a scooter and were so helpful to answer all our questions. The place is near the beach and amazing restaurants.

Proximity to a lovely beach. Lovely comfy bed with mosquito net. Family restaurant attached with delicious food. Owners were lovely.

Great location, great property, quiet place.

Flies were problem; however thats everywhere around the region. Fans do nothing as these may be the strongest flies we’ve ever encountered. Fly trap recommended

Amazing stay, unfortunately only for one night. Room was big and very clean, with a small terrace. Location is superb, only a few steps from Mawella beach. Breakfast was great and the family is super kind. I highly recommend it!

5 superb breakfasts of Sri Lankan dishes. Very helpful in suggesting places to visit and arranging transport. Very pleasant and approachable family who shared their lives with us. Very easy access to the beach down a lane. Beach had at least 4 good quality eating places for snacks and dinner. Thoroughly recommended.

The room was good, the beach is very close.

Since there were no access to the kitchen, we were lacking a kettle or some other basic appliencies in the room.

The property is very clean… and has everything you need in the room which is beautifully and simply decorated…. with lovely white cotton sheets and mosquito nets… fan, Aircon hot water and coffee maker…. and only a short, three minute walk down a lovely lane to the beach .

A lovely, helpful family host this new homestay. Great location only 2 mins walk to the wonderful Mawella beach. Our room was large and well equipped with air-conditioning, fan and mosquito net. There is a small private patio area outside the room and a larger shared terrace with a comfy sofa. Wonderful breakfasts made freshly each morning. Very quiet and peaceful at night. Highly recommended. Thank you so much for making us feel at home.

Very clean big rooms - near the beach, just 2 min walk. The owner and her staff was amazing. Very kind and helpful. Breakfast was very tasty and big. Only two rooms and a beautiful garden, so silent and relaxing. Will come back. Thanks for a good stay! Regards Ellinor and Stone

We loved everything!

Personal was wery friendly and helpfull. Room was quite and clean. Hotel look brand new. Hotel is close to the beutifull beach, about 100 meter.

Simplex sea place is in an amazing location less than a minutes walk from the beach, just behind Halcyon Hotel. The two rooms are brand new and sparkling clean with comfy beds and lovely en suite bathrooms. We loved more than anything though the family we stayed with- this is like being a guest with a wonderful local family( who also run the village shop) who made us feel so welcome. They cooked us the best meal we had in Sri Lanka! At the same Time we also had our own space- there is a lovely sitting area and back garden to relax and read in the day time . We stayed here as a base to explore the beautiful Mawella Beach, one of the best beaches in the area and also one which is safe to swim in all year round. We enjoyed having cocktails and meals at the local hotels on the beach and then returning to our little home from home at Simplex Sea Place. We feel we have made life long friends there and can’t wait to come back again to see them!
