El bungalow, el colchón y la ropa de cama eran nuevos. El área común era agradable, informal, muy bien iluminada. El personal es muy atento. La habitación era amplia e iluminada. La comida estaba buena.

Lee los comentarios negativos, todos coinciden en lo mismo, TIENE UN GRAN POTENCIAL. Si los encargados corrigieran los desperfectos sería un lugar genial. Reservé 3 noches, sólo pude quedarme 1. HOSTEL Nunca contestaron los mensajes de Whatssapp. Está retirado del centro, en la página de la plataforma ofrecían bicicletas pero no estaban disponibles cuando llegamos. No habían podado en semanas y la maleza estaba alta, la respuesta fue que "estaba lloviendo mucho". Un árbol se había caído en mitad de una de las caminerías. Había materiales de construcción desperdigados por el jardín. En las fotos salía una especie de piscina, en realidad es un estanque pero está descuidado, no hay peces, es un gran criadero de mosquitos. El dispensador de agua era de pago. Había telarañas en el techo de la cocina. HABITACIÓN La habitación tenía un fuerte olor a humedad. De hecho las paredes, con manchas blancas de humedad, "transpiraban", había condensación y se formaba un "riachuelo" en el piso. Tuvimos que dejar encendido el extractor del baño toda la noche. Las puertas de cristal no estaban bien selladas por lo que las hormigas pululaban por la habitación y se metieron en la comida que llevábamos. El wifi no funcionaba bien en nuestro lado, en el área común si. No había mesita de noche, escritorio, armario, colgadores de ropa, hervidor de agua. La manta era infantil. Conseguí otro lugar en el centro, por el mismo precio, con TV, refrigerador, colgador de ropa, un mueble, escritorio, mesita de noche, hervidor de agua, dispensador de agua gratis, el dueño contestó el Whatssapp inmediatamente y nos gestionó el transporte para largarnos de allí.

The setting could be lovely with a bit of maintenance

I had booked 3 nights in a dorm but asked on arrival if I could upgrade cos I was still sick. The receptionist was a volunteer and didnt know how to change it on the system and I saw there was a 9 usd room available on booking so I asked if I could just pay for that one directly and then check in for the dorm the next day. So I went to the room and saw there was no fan just an AC unit but no remote so I went back to reception to ask for it. I was lying on the bed and a woman came and aggressively knocked on the door and told me I needed to pay another 6usd for air-conditioning (which I didnt specifically request, a fan would have been fine). I was sick and didn't have the strength to argue, even though I think this is really unethical. The place had a bit of a grubby feeling to me and the breakfast was really bad and not that cheap (I had the omelette). I ended up going in the morning to a much nicer spot in town that was cheaper. I shortened my stay in booking and the property never responded even when I got booking involved, so I dont feel like they are up for feedback.

Nice and relaxed environment. Good food + the owner is a hero

It was cool to stay in such a small bungalow. The bathroom was a good size and had a mirror. The fan provided was new.

The bungalows hot and stuffy, there is hardly any airflow. You have a fan but you need to keep the door open to allow for air circulation, we kept the door open at all times when we was inside the bungalow, apart from when sleeping. There is a slight damp smell at times but with the door open it quickly disappears. The bathroom light was just a colour changing and quite dim led light. When we arrived the owners were not there (we arrived just after 4pm in the afternoon) and other staff were not able to check us in.. so we was told to leave our bags and go out. We had been travelling all day and whilst we didnt mind going back out to eat it, it was just a little dismissive i guess. There was a lot of cobwebs in the bathroom that could easily be removed. The vibe of the staff and how things are run seems a little disorganised.

The individual bungalows were clean and spacious and the beds comfortable with a decent sized bathroom which was clean. The location is also not to bad with a short tuktuk into town. Very quiet and peaceful at night and have a few very friendly little dogs.

The rooms are just too hot to endure. We paid the extra for ac (we were charged $7.35 when we were told on arrival it was going to cost $5 per day) but the ac units weren’t strong enough to make any difference. We only ordered food once and would strongly recommend avoiding, it gave me an upset stomach for the hours following. Property has lots of potential if better ac and better restaurant on site.

El aire acondicionado de la habitación no estaba funcionando correctamente por lo tanto la habitación era muy caliente, está un poco alejado a unos 2 km del centro pero si alquilas una moto es un excelente lugar

Nous avons bien aimé l’endroit! Nous n’y sommes restés qu’une nuit donc ce n’était pas un problème pour nous mais il est bon de savoir que ces petites chambres en béton deviennent particulièrement chaude sous le soleil, donc sans air climatisée nous avons dû dormir la porte ouverte pour aérer et il n’y avait pas de moustiquaire. Mais sinon c’était très bien!

La chaleur dans le bungalow en béton. Le ventilateur n'est clairement pas suffisant. Nous avons du laisser la baie vitrée ouverte toutes les nuits. Drap trop petit pour 2 personnes. Énormément de moustique à l'intérieur du bungalow, sans moustiquaire au dessus du lit Manque d'équipement dans le bungalow (pas de porte manteau/seche serviette, pas de miroir dans la salle de bain, aucun mobilier en dehors du lit). Petits déjeuners simples, LokLok un peu sec. Bassin sur les photos, en travaux et qui semble à l'abandon au centre des bungalows. Pour conclure, le lieu a du potentiel, mais il faudrait un peu plus d'investissement des gérants pour en faire une excellente adresse.

The exterior is very beautiful. The interior is horrible. I book the 8-bed dorm. It turns out there is only a 12-bed dorm with one tiny bathroom. The bathroom was dirty all the time, no soap, soaked rugg. For the price ok, what to expect? However right details about the room size would be great. Otherwise I wouldn’t have booked it!

Having own bathroom is a plus, good shower. Beds are comfortable, whole place is cute and chill.

Apart from the bed and the fan there is nothing else in the room (like chair, shelf, hook or anything else to put/hang clothes, towel and other stuff on). The room gets really hot during the day and well into the night and just a fan is not enough. There is an AC in the room but you must pay extra to use it. Place is a bit far to walk to the city and during the night there is just too many dogs, but tuk-tuks are cheap.

One of the most beautiful hostels I have ever been, in terms of the garden and nature around, friendly staff, tasty food made by the owner. It is a bit outside from the center indeed, but you can rent a motor bike in a good price, or walk if you are OK with walking (as me :D). Good place for relaxing and chilling. One night I stayed in a private room which was very lovely and has everything you need for such a good price. The rest of the nights I stayed in the dorm room which is also OK. I also have tried a couple of dishes of their menu, and I think is a good place to try out local food, very tasty! :)

Beautiful place in a green garden with a pond. The hut are nice and new with AC option. Bed confortable and clean. Food is good and staff very friendly

Very lovely and clean!

The vibe of the place is really nice and the people who run the place are the kindest folks. For the price point, I was really satisfied with the private room and the country-side vibe of the loaction.

The property doesn't have a lot of parking space for cars -- it was enough to accommodate mine, though. But I don't think most people choosing this property will come with a car anyway, so it's not a critical point of their business.

Amazing place with great potential. Really chill vibe with all the necessities at such a low price. The owners were really friendly and helpful!

Only down side was the American neighbour who came drinking both nights shouldn’t be shouting & swearing at his kids who are lovely, kills the vibe and is not fair on the nice kids. Would be 10/10 without that.

The staff is very friendly! They have a catalog of activities and tours to do around the city at a very good price and with pick-up service! The bed is very comfortable and the fan is nice, I had to sleep covered up.

The location is a bit far from the center which means you need to take a taxi if you want to go to the center every time. There was no hot water, just cold.

The food was amazing. The staff were nice and friendly.

It's cheap price but the room was so hot in the morning so you need to stay outside. The ac did no work in the morning. The bed does not have any electric plugs around it at all.

Great place to relax and peace of mind

The hosts were super nice! Helps with every request or question we asked, and we just loved the vide and the environment! We also came back after a few days away (because we loved the place haha) and they were so happy to see us again, and welcomed us back so nicely!

I stayed in the dorm of the Bear Bungalow. it was nice, there is a bathroom and a shower in the room. the place is perfect for chill but it’s also nice to have a beer in the night with the owner and the volunteers(: the location is about 10mins from the center by motorbike and you can rent it at the hostel for 5dollars per day (which is a good price!)

negative point: no mosquitoes net in the dorm so be prepared with some repellent

Loved everything about it be it my room, location, people, food or the overall comfort❤ The owner and his family are super host and leave no stone unturned in making us feel home 😍 They have adorable pets who didn't let me miss my pets at home - an additional perk 🥰

I guess they can add more variety to their food menu 😊

The staff are so friendly and accommodating. All of the places should be like them.
