Total disgrace .... booked for the katie taylor fight and hotel cancelled at 3pm that day. Thought ok I sort something else out and that I did. Thing is on the 11th September they applied to my bank account for £240 !!!! They cancelled not me so why do you think it's fair to be requesting money outta my account a week later ??????? Stealing money from ppl. Try again and my solicitor will be in contact !!! AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!! JUST CAUSE A BIG EVENT ON YOUS BELIVE YOUS CAN HOLD THE PUBLIC TO RANSOM !!!! .No wonder no one wants to stay at the prices yous charge......

Shouldn't really be known as a hotel. More so just accommodation. Location is good but the place itself is a bit rough. The staff are very nice and friendly. They need to invest in a revamp

Location, good facilities for what it cost. Staff were amazing couldn't have asked for more from them, helpful, courteous, polite. Will definitely stay here again!

Die Lage war super, das Personal sehr nett und es war sauber.

Das Zimmer lag unterm Dach und war bei 30°C ohne Klimaanlage und Ventilator leider sehr heiß. Aber schlimmer fand ich das Fenster zum Innenhof, wo ein Pub war. Bis um 1:30 Uhr dröhnte die Musik und weil so heiß war, konnte man noch nicht einmal das Fenster schließen.

The only thing that was good was the location, it’s close to the city centre. The bed wasn’t bad to sleep in but then again I could sleep on the floor and it wouldn’t bother me.

We had to rooms and neither looked like they did online in the pictures, The deluxe room that we paid more for was ok but still didn’t look like it did online and was located on the first floor and was right next to a bar so the noise coming from it was terrible until early hours of the morning, it wasn’t stated in the description online that the deluxe was right next to a bar otherwise wouldn’t have booked it, the other double room we had booked wasn’t very nice either walked in and there was filters for a cigarette sat the on the chair, the fan was falling apart which didn’t help as it was hot, the carpet was not joint properly near the walls so all the wooden gripper was hanging out with the nails on them, and the signal on the tv never worked either. The building itself from the outside look like it’s a run down pub rather than a hotel so overall not a great place.

The guy at reception was extremely friendly

Guy was blocking the door to enter the hotel with 3 others . As I went to enter he got up in my face and was shouting nonsense. Clearly intoxicated and was looking for a row. The area is a bit rough at night . The hotel room was not the cleanest and the shower was filthy . I checked in at midnight and left at around 5am . Didn’t feel comfortable there.

Central location. Easy walking distance to the main high street. Clean but showing the age and worn.

Ordered the Luxury rooms and payed extra for the Luxury rooms and was told that they are very loud outside because they are above a night club which goes on all night. So we swapped to a lower cost room and got no refund. The rooms are very dated and old and showing its age but ok for a night. No curtains on the small windows so the light woke me up early morning.

So clean with everything you need. It has a kitchen that is spotless and even a hairdresser. The hospitality is great and the views. Very calm environment, I will be back 🙏🙏

The hotel itself feels unsafe walking up the stairs as they list to one side, the room had mould in the bathroom and cracked floors, and despite booking a four person room we were issued a single yale key as the previously installed key card system didnt work. Access into the hotel at any time of day relied on ringing a buzzer and awaiting being noticed by the reception team - this meant on multiple occasions over the weekend us standing in the street for 5-10 minutes ringing repeatedly. The hotel staff also refused to hold the key at the front desk so it could be passed between the four of us staying and at one point despite preregistration of all guests on their portal refused to allow two of our number up to the room.until we physically came down at 3am. The hotel also rang the rooms at half 4 in the morning to demand that we change the id on file, as the person who paid the room and gave their id was not the named main guest (in a 4 person room with the other guests details provided) and their manager would be upset by this the next day, and summoned us down to resolve their issue. Despite being on the third floor the noise levels were ridiculous and it was extremely difficult to sleep - the property should consider investing in double glazing or sound insulation Overall an uncomfortable and unpleasant stay, and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone

The worst experience I've had staying in a hotel since I started using Booking. DO NOT stay here. I had planned to see a couple of friends early on in the evening and head out, but we were accosted the reception staff early in the evening and both of my friends were asked to leave, Updating my reservation after the fact so that one friend could accompany me to the room so we could catch up before we left, became an odyssey. The staff member present was immediately suspicious and racially profiled my friend, and made no effort to disguise it. It killed the vibe immediately and tanked the night before it even began. Every single hallway stank of weed. Our hallway was probably the worst. Window was broken and didn't open properly, there was dust around the bed and tables, several vapes around and under the bed. TV was giant, but not user-friendly. Shower was probably the best part of the entire stay and it wasn't even that great. Receptionist the next morning was extremelt pleasant and checking out was probably the most exciting part of the entire stay. I understand the area is busy and some security is necessary, like a locked entrance and deposit, but racially profiling people is not the way to go about. I recommend you find elsewhere.

Location and price.

The noise and stink of cigarettes and weed from the smoking area of the bar below. No alternative room offered. I left after an hour and was not given a refund. Owner of the hotel claimed that you waiver that right as they tell you it's attached to a bar. Ridiculous statement considering the room stank of weed, was right beside the fire exit to the bar. I want my refund!
