Eravamo 2 amici ed ho prenotato apposta la camera famigliare (più cara della doppia) per poter dormire in letto separati. Nonostante questo, al check-in era pronto solo il letto matrimoniale ed ho dovuto segnalarlo per fare preparare anche uno dei due letti singoli

Sûrement un des séjours les plus mémorables de notre voyage en Indonésie. On s’est senti parfaitement à l’aise au sein de cette famille. On a reçu un accueil chaleureux puis passé une formidable soirée autour d’un bon repas fait maison préparé sous nos yeux. Je recommanderais à quiconque est de passage à Ruteng de passer la nuit ici et espère sincèrement moi-même pouvoir y revenir bientôt. Rien à redire sur la qualité des équipements et de la chambre, nous y avons parfaitement dormi et même passé sûrement la nuit la plus reposante de ce séjour. Encore merci pour ce beau moment passé ensemble, Terima Kasih Banyak sampai jumpa à bientôt ! 👋🏼

Our guests and her daughter are were very nice. We discussed a lot about Flores, Indonesia, culture and so on. They offered us a local Indonesian diner at the end, it was a real pleasure to share those moments together. We fully recommand this place 😍

Geweldige eigenaren en dochter die alles doen om het naar je zin te maken. Ontzettend lief! Je verblijft in hun huis en er werd zelfs na een nacht met aardbevingen buiten voor ons een warm ontbijt gemaakt. Een leuke lokale omgeving. We hebben ze in ons hart gesloten.

Très bon séjour pour une nuit, accueil sympathique par les hôtes, ils nous ont emmené en ville en fin de journée, sont venus discuter avec nous pendant le repas. Rencontre avec les enfants gardés à l’école collée au gîte et tenue par les hôtes, supers moments!

Emplacement excentré de la ville (on ne peut pas se déplacer en autonomie sans voiture ou scooter).

Chambre grande et très propre ,… mais surtout nous avons adoré le temps partagé avec les hôtes .

Excellent accueil, l'endroit est destiné à la rencontre et aux échanges avec des hôtes très attachant, dans un confort agréable dans le contexte. Le lieu est aussi une école et accueille des enfants le matin. Un peu excentré de la ville avec un air de campagne, un beau lever de soleil et des repas qui peuvent être livrés sur place. À recommander, très belle expérience.

On a beaucoup apprécié leur logement qui est dans un endroit calme et qui est très propre. Le logement est accolé à une école, et on a donc le droit aux sourires des enfants au petit déjeuner. Theresia et son mari sont des hôtes formidables. Ils ont organisé nos excursions et nous ont même accompagné aux restaurants. On a eu de nombreux échanges avec eux, ce qui permet de mieux comprendre la vie Indonésienne.

Les propriétaires de la maison sont d’une extrême gentillesse, ils sont aux petits soins. Ils parlent très bien anglais, ce qui facilite la communication, et sont de très bon conseil. Vraiment, je recommande de dormir chez eux ! Le soir, ils peuvent vous emmener manger avec eux dans un petit Warung ou, sinon, ils vous donnent les clefs de la maison si vous voulez aller manger au restaurant. Le petit-déjeuner est très bon. Le homestay comporte 2 chambres. C’est très calme la nuit (pas de coq à proximité !) et la literie est très bonne. Il y a de l’eau chaude.

Fluffy and his family were so welcoming and have a lovely home. They helped us figure out what we should do in Ruteng and cooked us a delicious breakfast in the morning. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.

Nos hôtes ont été très attentionnés dès notre arrivée en nous proposant thé et café. Ils sont bienveillants et dans un esprit de partage. Ils ont pris le temps de nous expliquer leurs traditions et sont passionnés par l histoire de leur région. Ils nous ont aidé à organiser nos journées, à louer un scooter, ainsi que le transfert vers notre prochaine étape. Beaucoup de moments de partages pendant les repas avec cette famille. L hébergement etait très propre, avec de l eau chaude et un super petit déjeuner. Literie confortable. Ils proposent également des repas à très bons prix.

De hartelijke ontvangst van de eigenaars. Er was geen restaurant in de buurt, maar ze kookte speciaal voor ons. Ook het ontbijt was prima. Leuk om het schooltje bij hun huis te zien en mee te mogen doen. De eigenaar nam de tijd om van alles te vertellen. De dochter van de eigenaars was heel hartelijk en praatte volop met ons. De kamer was netjes, badkamer ook.

Excellent séjour chez Theresia et Flavi, qui sont des hôtes merveilleux ! Super gentils de très bon conseil, et font tout pour rendre le séjour agréable, ils nous ont beaucoup appris sur Flores et la culture locale, ils parlent très bien anglais. On se sent vraiment comme à la maison, c’est vraiment très propre et confortable. Bref tout etait parfait je recommande vivement.

On a passé une belle soirée avec la famille, on a joué au carte. on avait une chambre spacieuse et confortable. Le matin, avant de partir, on a pu voir les écoliers de la classe attenante à la Homestay.

We had a wonderful stay at Petra Homestay. From the moment we arrived, the whole family made us feel incredibly welcome and at home. They are such kind, friendly and genuine people. The room was spotless, and the bathroom was also very clean. Everything was comfortable and well looked after. One of the best parts of our stay was spending the evening singing karaoke together with the family. It was such a fun and unforgettable experience that made us feel like part of the family rather than just guests. Thank you for your amazing hospitality and kindness. It was a homestay, so there qas no official key handover. The hosts were at home when I arrived

The owners are lovely couple and the place is away from the centre but you enjoy the quietness. They run a kindergarten beside and great if you love kids

Maybe a small exhaust fan or open window for the toilet so the moisture can escape the room

It was nice that the family at the homestay interacted with us. We pre ordered our dinner before arriving as we did not want to travel into town but you can also order pizza for delivery.It was convenient for us to stay at Petra as our driver dropped us off and picked us up.

We had a wonderful stay and felt very welcome from the first moment. Flavie and Theresia are incredibly kind hosts and made our stay really special. We even had an amazing dinner together twice, which was a lovely experience and a great opportunity to get to know each other. They shared a lot of interesting information about Flores and its traditions, which we really appreciated. They also helped us arrange a scooter, drove us through town, and gave us great advice on how to explore the area. We were also lucky to receive an upgrade to the family room since it was available, which made our stay even more comfortable. The room and the whole place were also super clean. It was also inspiring to see the great work they do with the children. They run a small kindergarten on their grounds and offer extra classes in math and English, which is truly wonderful to see. The place itself is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting Flores that wants an authentic and kind experience.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this homestay. The family was incredibly friendly and warm-hearted, making us feel welcome from the very first moment. They treated us with such kindness that we felt more like part of the family than guests. The room was extremely clean, and the towels smelled fresh and lovely. The bed was very comfortable, which allowed us to rest perfectly. We also appreciated having warm water for the shower at any time. We felt so well taken care of throughout our stay — just like being with family. We would absolutely recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming place to stay.

Theresia, Flavi en Andrea waren een fantastische gastfamilie! Hartelijk, behulpzaam en bereid om je te laten integreren in hun dagelijks doen en laten. Ze hebben ons meegenomen naar familie, kerk, moestuin en voor boodschapjes op de local markt om vervolgens samen te koken. Theresia beheert een " kindergarden" die naast de homestay ligt. Zij wil de kinderen stimuleren Engels te praten met haar gasten zodat ze de taal goed leren en durven spreken.

Friendly and comfortable home stay . We loved the private tour they took us on (to spider rice fields, hobbit cave, cathedral) and their excellent English was valued

25 minute walk from the centre of town but a lovely walk and host family ran us around a bit so no problem at all

Ein wundervolles Homestay, eine der schönsten Erfahrungen, die wir auf unserer Reise machen durften! Hier bekommt man nicht nur eine warme Dusche (alles suuper sauber), wifi, herrliches Frühstück.., sondern darf für eine Zeit Teil einer so lieben Familie sein. Wir teilten den ganz normalen Alltag, durften eine Schule besuchen, mit den Kindern Englisch lernen, Theresia und Fluffy auf den Markt begleiten und lernen wie man das allerbeste Gado-Gado zubereitet! Selbstverständlich gab es zum Nachtisch noch Unmengen Pisang Goreng 🧡 Tausend Dank Theresia, Fluffy und Andrea für diese wunderbare Zeit, Gespräche, die uns in Erinnerung bleiben und für ein bisschen Zuhause!

Famiglia deliziosa, ospitali e molto simpatici, come essere a casa di persone che conosci da una vita. Ti coccolano come se fossi un principe, ti deliziato con colazioni e cene speciali, fatte in casa, con amore e passione. Se andate a Ruteng dovete per forza andare qui, anche io gestisco una attività turistica quindi conosco bene tutti i pregi e difetti che si possono trovare. Qui starete solamente a contatto con la famiglia di Teresa, ci saranno sempre per qualsiasi problema o consiglio. Questa famiglia dovrebbe essere citata in tutte le guide turistiche ❤️

Exceptionnel! La rencontre avec Fluffy, Theresia et Andrea a été un moment fort de notre voyage. Cette famille est exceptionnellement gentille et chaleureuse. Nous avons partagé des moments forts, que ce soit leur vie de famille et les repas que nous avons passés avec eux, mais ils nous aussi invités à 2 mariages de leurs amis. C’est le meilleur homestay d’Indonésie sans hésitation ! Il y a bien de l’eau chaude maintenant car ils ont fait des travaux dans la salle de bain.

Un accueil chaleureux et sincère dans la famille Petra avec un dîner ensemble le soir autour d’un repas typique. Les hôtes parlent anglais ce qui est vraiment appréciable pour communiquer. Notre chambre disposait d’une salle de bain avec eau chaude. Il n’y a pas encore le wifi disponible mais les hôtes améliorent petit à petit leur Homestay. Attention ce Homestay est à plus de 2h de route de Wae Bero ( et non 26 min comme l’indique faussement Booking … ou alors en vol d’oiseau !)

Mettre une chaise et une multiprise dans la chambre et un miroir dans la salle de bain !

Homestay tenu par une famille extrêmement sympathique très accueillante. La tenancière nous a même invité à dîner chez sa sœur, une véritable immersion locale ! Terima kasih banyak 🙏

Pour info, la douche se fait au seau d'eau et il n'y avait pas d'eau le premier jour. Possibilité de demander de l'eau chaude néanmoins. Il y a aussi des enfants qui ont des cours le matin donc possibilité d'être réveillés tôt (vers 7h30).

Nos hôtes sont très accueillants et chaleureux., ils prennent le temps de discuter. Leur maison est agréable et la chambre est d’une propreté irréprochable. Pour le dîner, Tricia peut vous le préparer car il n’y a pas de warung à proximité moyennant 25000 IDR/pers. Le petit dej est très bon. Allez-y les yeux fermés !!

The host is an extremely lovely couple, and it is nice to get an inside in their lifestyle.

Nothing, it is a B&B, no chain hotel so it is very basic, but that just adds to the charm. You do need a car to get here, I don't think public transport would bring you here, and it is not exactly in the city centre

It was really clean and the owners are very friendly and welcoming. We slept like a baby and were treated like family. We even visited a local festival and visited the school of their daughter, petra.

Man hat sich sofort wie zuhause gefühlt. Die Familie ist total herzlich! Wir hatten uns beide den Knöchel verstaucht und die Besitzerin hat sich sofort um uns gekümmert. Wir durften auch mit der Familie gemeinsam Abendessen, was ein sehr schönes Erlebnis war.

Hele vriendelijke eigenaren die ons enthousiast en hartverwarmend ontvingen. Mooie en erg schone locatie die grenst aan een school voor kleine kinderen die door dezelfde eigenaren beheerd worden. Erg leuk te zien hoe zij zich voor de kinderen inzetten.

Nu nog iets basic omdat er nog geen mogelijkheid is om te douchen, deze wordt binnenkort aangelegd. Eigenaren wel erg behulpzaam om alle middelen te voorzien zodat je jezelf toch lekker op kunt frissen.

Una accoglienza stupenda. Ci siamo sentiti a casa come in famiglia. Hanno cucinato una cena per noi e anche se non previsto e per i nostri bimbi sono stati come dei nonni. Ci hanno trovato un bravo autista.

Fluffy and Teresia are an amazing couple. They really care about their guest and their well-being. You can trust and rely on them eyes closed! We had the room with private bathroom: the bed was huge and really comfortable, everything was really clean. Also, they manage a kindergarten and they let us assist the first part of the teaching, which makes the experience even more positive. One last point, we had a sickness issue and they made everything possible to help us get better. That kind of hospitality is really rare.

Super gastvrije, schone en gezellige homestay. Zeer lief en attent echtpaar. Daardoor dus ook een hele leuke en fijne ontmoeting en ervaring!

De eigenaren zijn geweldig, lief, behulpzaam en erg gastvrij. Fijne gesprekken gehad en ik voelde me ontzettend welkom. Het gaf echt het gevoel om onderdeelntr zijn van de familie. Douche is met een bak warm en koud water mengen, geen stromend water. Maar dit maakt het juist zo bijzonder.

Locatie wat ver uit de stad maar de eigenaren kunnen volgens mij op verzoek wel wat koken.

Si queréis estar un día o varios en una casa con encanto, donde los dueños son encantadores este es vuestro sitio. Hay una guardería al lado y nos dejaron estar un rato con los niños y fue muy divertido!

No hay ducha, es con barreño... pero así es como ellos se asean! Por lo que aunque no estemos acostumbrados a no tener ducha no es un gran problema.

We hebben genoten van de gesprekken die we hebben gehad met de eigenaren. Zeker de man sprak zeer goed Engels. Ook werden we uitgenodigd om s avonds te eten bij familie ter ere van een 50 jarig huwelijk. We hebben een fantastische avond gehad met zoveel lieve mensen. Lekker eten en karaoke gezongen. Een avond om nooit meer te vergeten. Geweldig hoe wij konden zien hoe ze feest vieren in hun cultuur. En hoe belangrijk en hecht familie is. Ze laten je snel voelen dat je 1 van hun bent. Grote schone kamer met een heerlijk groot 2 persoonsbed! Lekker ontbijt met gevulde omlet en toast met chocopasta

We hadden verwacht om lekker te gaan douchen nadat we een overnachting op een eiland hadden gehad en we 2 dagen in het zoute zeewater hadden gelegen. Er is helaas geen douche. Wel zorgde de eigenaresse voor een warme teil water zodat we ons wel even konden opfrissen

Fluffy, Theresa and their daughter Andrea are so kind and friendly. Their hospitality is insane and I would recommend everyone to stay at their house. If you want to know more about the culture and how Indonesian people live, than this is the place to be. We talked a lot about Indonesia and their passion to create a better future for the young kids.

Fluffy, Theresa, and Andrea are such a lovely and friendly family! They were very talkative and welcoming, and we felt truly at home during our stay. The home-cooked meals were absolutely delicious. Not only did they give us great travel tips, but when my friend had a flat tire on the motorbike, Fluffy even helped us find a repair shop and communicated with the owner. We’re really grateful for their kindness. Hope to come back again someday:)
