Tully Cottage Donegal Town

Lovely and very liveable, good amenities, good location

Water pressure was very low, heating system was not easily useable

It was very charming with an old stable and another building which acknowledged the history of the area and Elaine was warm and welcoming

It was nice and clean and had all the amenities we required

Es war einfach aber sehr nett eingerichtet. Die Lage war jetzt nicht schlecht. Die Sanitäranlagen waren zwar alt, aber es war wirklich sehr sauber und funktional. Die Küche war voll ausgestattet und ebenfalls sehr sauber. Wir hatten warmes Wasser nachdem wir mit der Besitzern telefonierten. Heizung benötigten wir nicht. Die Besitzer haben uns Adressen und Telefonnummer in der Umgebung da gelassen, das war sehr nett. Wir konnten am Anreisetag bereits mittags ins Haus, großer Pluspunkt. Die Besitzer waren telefonisch sehr nett.

Die Adresse war mit dem Navi nicht zu finden, wir mussten uns bei einigen Häusern in der Umgebung durch fragen. Die Einfahrt und die Nebengebäude die dabei waren, sind nicht schön, es sind eher Scheunen. Es schaute abends sehr spoky aus. Das Gebäude und Gelände rum herum außen, war nicht wie auf den Bilder. Es gibt außen nur 2 Sessel 1 kleinen Tisch und eine kleine Bank (die bereits kaputt war und mit einem Band zusammen geklebt war) zum Sitzen, das könnten man noch ganz einfach verbessern und einladender gestalten. Es ist alles sehr hellhörig und es knaxt überall. Der Besitzer war nicht vor Ort. Bzgl Abreise hatte wir keine Info, Müll, etc. Wir haben nach besten Wissen alles entsorgt und sauber gemacht.. Tip, da könnte man noch Infos hinterlassen.

We supplied our own breakfast Location was fine It was our first time doing public transport and are walkers so the walk into town was ok On arrival in Donegal town we got a taxi to the property

The location to Donegal town was convenient and the view across the road added to the country feel. Such a cozy house.

Cute, comfortable cottage for 4.

Not much. Seemed a cute cottage but once settled facilities were very lacking. Only one oversized thin hand towel each as bath towel for three days. Nowhere to hang and dry them so they stayed wet especially when the heat failed. Cottage sleeps 5 , there was 4 of us but only three seats in the lounge/tv room so two would have to sit on a wooden kitchen chair all night to watch tv. Only seating for two in the other sitting room. The heating failed and it was -2 outside. Messaged the host who ignored us and up until we left never contacted us at all. Leanne the host clearly lived nearby as she turned up shortly after we arrived and walked straight inside without being invited. Was clearly checking us out but was very invasive

Facilities lacking, faulty heating even though it was freezing outside. Host ignored messages even though she lived nearby. Should have addressed it if offered some refund.

The house was clean and comfortable.

The cottage was cosy and warm. The property was spacious and had everything we need. The host was wonderful, great communication and very considerate. The location was fantastic only a few minutes drive to the town centre. Taxi numbers were provided.

All, nice cottage well equipped and located guest are very kind people and co-operative.

If I have to find something, missing Wi-Fi connection.

Great location for travelling around Donegal. Clean and all amenities needed for the family are in the house Highly recommended as a base for donegal

Very clean and comfortable cottage. Host was very good at responding. Quiet location.

Hassle free check-in and good comms from hosts. Good size cottage for 4 persons sharing. Located just over 1 mile outside Donegal Town, quiet area, local taxis used (€8 one way) and thanks to hosts for leaving details. Good location for hiking round Lough Eske area or exploring other places.

Very comfy beds and nice quality bed linen. Cute cottage feel.

Difficult to find as no house numbers and view of house shown on booking.com is not visible from road- sign on fence would resolve. Had issues with hot water and of three bathrooms only one shower worked. Smoke alarms were beeping - need new batteries. One of the couches was broken. No information booklet on how to use appliances etc - some quirks that we figured out but again a booklet would assist.

brilliant location for donegal and letterkenny,shops close, good for a few cars lovely and clean with plenty of space down and upstairs, comfy beds etc

couldn’t fault the property one bit, owners were extremely kind when i had questions about the check in and out time and booking

Comfortable bed, wonderful bed linen and towels.

Very clean and good location, lovely to go outside in the grounds to look at the apple trees and roses with the children. Nice warm home and comfy bedrooms.

No wifi but that's not important. I cannot think of anything we didn't like to be honest

Great location to see Donegal. Very spacious , clean and great value for money. Highly recommended and will definitely go back.
