Nothing to not like
What I liked most about the property was the excellent location. It is very close to the city and conveniently located near supermarkets and other amenities. The property itself was exceptionally clean, which made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. It was cozy, welcoming, and very well maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the appliances we needed, making it feel like a home away from home. We also really enjoyed the beautiful scenery surrounding the property. Overall, it was a very clean, comfortable, and pleasant place to stay in a great location.
Very small bathrooms
Everything was amazing. One comment I would make with regards to several reminders to leave the property before “10.00 sharp”. No need for se real reminders, can be perceived rude. Other than that, just lovely.
Great facilities for self catering. Washing machine and dryer were very useful.
The host met us at check in and advised us of what sights to see, top beaches to go to. Directions well layed out in the house. Very cosey and homely, had everything you could need for a longer stay. It helped that the weather was excellent at the time of pur visit!
The cottage was peaceful and well equipped to cook and relax.
host met us and gave us the keys from the lock desk.
A real home from home. Beautifully clean and lovely views. Hosts were most helpful. Had all you need for a peaceful stay. Would highly recommend this property. Easy access to Donegal Town.
The only minus was one of the bathrooms was quite small. OK for us but some may struggle with the shower.
A bit farther from the town than we hoped, but on a gorgeous property. The renovation of what likely was an old manor was done with respect for guests and for history. Very comfortable and welcoming. A treat that bread, jam, milk was left for a light breakfast.
Wish we had met the hosts, who apparently live in the adjacent/upstairs part of the property. Some footstep noises upstairs, which were not a big issue but would have been nice to say hi.
The whole place was fantastic, everything was provided, all clean and comfortable.
We stayed 2 nights it wasn't long enough.
Everything was perfect — the apartment itself, the bedrooms, the kitchen, and all the appliances. It offered great facilities and a real sense of comfort, making us feel right at home.
The rooms were very well equipped, exceeding expectations.
Close to donegal town Like home from home
Thought it a little expensive for 1 night
It's a lovely cozy accommodation very close to the town. I loved everything about the place and I hope to return again.I will definitely recommend it to family and friends.

Location was perfect. Property was clean, warm & comfortable. The fresh milk & bagels left in our fridge was an excellent find. Saved us searching for a shop late at night.
Nothing.
Cozy and Charming Very quiet Easy to find Very close to town
Fabulous place just outside the town. Amazing views over the lake, The property was really well equipped, just had everything that we needed and more! Excellent hosts who had thought of everything to make our stay perfect. We wished we could have stayed longer!
Loved everything about the Lodge.
Lodge joliment décoré, lits confortables,un très bel endroit à 3 km du centre . C'était parfait.
Nice location, close enough to Donegal. Very spacious with two bedrooms, nice living room and kitchen with laundry that included a dryer. It It was relaxing to settle in and watch a Netflix movie after a day of touring around. This was the nicest place we have stayed during our two week vacation.
It was a quiet, beautiful place to stay. The host was very nice to talk to. We had everything we needed.
This clean, well-appointed house is in the perfect location to explore Donegal and the surrounding area.
All the features of home. Salt and pepper in the pantry and face washers.
Nothing
Spotlessly clean , room to move, good shower, washing facilities.. everything provided! No complaints ..
Très confortable et bien équipé ! Tout près de Donegal.
On aurait aimé y rester plus longtemps !
We only stayed 1 night but it had everything we needed. Also, we loved that there were clear instructions on how to use the appliances.
Perhaps if I were to be extremely picky, the proximity to the fast road but honestly, that didn’t really bother us very much.
very easy drive into Donegal town. the kitchen was perfect for our stay. spotless clean. loved the separate tv room at front if someone wanted to stay up longer it didn't disturb anyone else. perfect size, not cramped. fresh, clean. amazing!
The house is stunning and overlooking to a lake. It has everything you would expect in a house (kitchen with dishwasher and fridge, tv, washing machine and dryer)
Not a problem for us but take note that the landlord is living in the same vicinity and there is a dog and cat roaming around outside the house
We stayed for one night in this lovely 2-bedroom apartment and had such a great experience! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The host was incredibly welcoming and kind – they really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our night in town! It was the perfect stopover in Donegal and we would definitely stay again. Highly recommend!
Lovely location close to Donegal town . Loved everything about the property . Spotlessly clean and milk and bread in the fridge . All mod cons and particularly loved the powerful shower . Hurrah for large bath towels too
The fact that it wasn’t mine !
Spacious, well-appointed
No TV
Spacious, clean, well equipped. Plenty of room to park. Only about a 5 to 7 minute drive to downtown Donegal. The host provided milk, bread, butter and jam in addition to coffee and tea which was very welcome in the morning. I would highly recommend.
Size, location to Donegal and surrounding areas, quiet, cleanliness, everything a kitchen could need, fresh bread and milk, gardens, style of furniture were all first class. Our host was very warm and welcoming.
Nothing. An excellent self-catering lodge.
Nice spotless cottage stay with my son and daughter in law - both bedrooms have their own bathroom, it was great to have the kitchen, and even greater to have a washer and dryer. Just a few minutes drive from the Donegal Craft Centre and Donegal town.
There were no instructions for how to use the stove (we ended up watching YouTube videos to figure it out) and the only fying pan was a nightmare to try to cook breakfast on. There were plenty of sauce pans but only the one cheap frying pan to which everything stuck and got burned. A couple decent frying pans would make the kitchen fully functional.
Quiet well laid out accommodation. Great location for golf at Donegal golf club. Large kitchen. Great washer and dryer.
All good!
Everything! I fell in love with this property, wishing I can own one just like it!
Quiet, comfortable, easy parking, nice snacks, laundry facilities
Layout and location
Heater difficult to operate and house was therefore chilly at times.
I cannot say enough good things about this place. This is easily the coziest, cutest, most beautifully finished place that we have stayed - ever. I stayed with my daughter and we both absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave. We had hot chocolate on the couch with the fluffy blanket together. When we left we completed a tour of Ireland staying in various lovely hotels, but we kept saying that we missed our cottage! There was fresh milk and bread in the fridge. Everything was so thoughtful and well presented. My daughter took photos of your cute little hand written notes dotted around the place. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay. You made our holiday! x
The Lodge, Donegal Town was absolutely fantastic! The premises were spotless and our stay was very comfortable. The clear instructions provided by the host made our arrival and departure seamless.

Lovely self contained lodge in great location.Beautifully clean, comfortable and well stocked.Hosts exceptionally kind and helpful, providing great advice for our itinerary.
The apartment was very clean and the owner responsive to our request for 'less perfumed' cleaners. Directions to find the property were clear and easy to follow. A lovely property in a great location.
Nothing, it was perfect.
It was a great location and very quiet. It is a well appointed apartment with a full kitchen and a laundry room. The host was very responsive too.
Location was great, the rooms, food & cosy feel the Lodge had, were the best by far where we’ve stayed. Lots of personal feminine lovly touches made it really special. Joan was very helpful with places to go, as was her hubby.
Absolutely great place for our short stay in Donegal.
The bedrooms are clean and great! Both bedrooms have bathrooms. The kitchen has everything that needs and there was fruits and juice for us 😊
Everything was very easy and the property was lovely
Would of liked a later check out
Everything was perfect and beautiful. Tje host leave us fruits and other food
Lovely
Nothing
Lovely decorated apartment. Beds very comfortable & excellent showers.
Close to a busy road, not walking distance to town but a short drive away.
The Locations was excellent for us the property amazing
Was happy with everything
Very clean and good beds.
It was cold and heating was not timed to our arrival or morning showers. We sat with the blankets around us in the lounge. No hot water in one shower . Could not open bedroom windows for air. Breakfast basket was not up to standard with a pre-packaged croissant each, two eggs ( no whisk )and an apple and banana.
Everything
Nothing to dislike
We feel like home and everything was done to make us comfortable.
Fabulous place for an overnight stay. Only wish I had booked another night. Just a lovely, warm and spotless apartment. Great location for exploring Donegal with a garden to enjoy the views.
Very efficient.
The house was very cute. It was super clean and modern, plus well decorated / outfitted. They even stocked the kitchen with some fruit, bread, butter, etc, which was really lovely. The shower was amazing and the beds were comfortable. The location was good: just a 5 minute drive into the town center.
Only complaint is that we could've used more pillows, but that seemed to be a common issue in Ireland: only 2 per bed. The property is off a kind of busy road, however, we didn't hear any noise inside.
Lovely accommodation and owners.
Nothing
Beautiful apartment, very clean, staff really lovely, effortless check in and check out. Milk, butter, bread for us on arrival.
A later check out would be amazing.
it was just perfect every little detail covered and if i could give it a 10 star i would
nothing
Beautiful setting, everything that you need for a compatible stay. Even received a nice bottle of wine from the host as a welcome gift.
No milk were provided. Very minor item but would have been great to have even some milk pods for coffee/tee
The unit is extremely charming and clean.
Everything. It was an absolutely gorgeous property and even though attached to the main residence it was very private. Our host had thought of everything from board games for the kids to breakfast items in the fridge. An absolute gem.
Excellent accommodation, very good kitchen and lounge, comfortable bed, very short journey to supermarket, petrol station and Donegal Town, highly recommended stay
