Incredible location, perfect accommodation, incredibly good food. Staff was so good to accommodate the fact that it was very windy.

Es war einfach traumhaft. Ein Ort zum Entspannen, hier kann man wirklich die Wüste genießen und kennenlernen. Die Lage ist fantastisch direkt auf der Düne, man blickt nur in die Natur und sieht keine anderen Camps. Man hat hier absolute Ruhe. Das Essen ist so fantastisch und Salah ist ein wunderbarer Gastgeber. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und empfehlen mindestens 2 Nächte zu bleiben.

Es war alles perfekt. Man muss aber wissen, dass es im Camp keinen elektronischen Strom gibt, was für uns allerdings kein Problem darstellte. Die Smartphones am Besten vorher voll aufladen.

Salah ist wirklich ein super Gastgeber. Das Essen war ebenso ausgezeichnet und die Lage & Atmosphäre ein Traum 😍

This was more than just a hotel room. The stay at Salah's camp was really awesome. The location in the middle of nowhere, on the top of a dune, makes this experience magical. Great staff and almost a family atmosphere. The food was delicious, and so was the tea (always available with dates). Possible to arrange camel rides, which I definitely recommend. We got precise instructions, and Salah guided us personally when driving through the desert, which was very welcome. It's not the cheapest camp there, but really worth visiting.

Stunning location, extremely comfortable facilities. Salah the owner, as well as being charming, was a complete hero. We had to stay an unexpected extra day as a storm damaged a road and he only charged us half and was very helpful guiding us and a car through a safe route when we were able too.

This is not just a desert camp, it’s an experience that feels almost cinematic. From the moment you arrive you understand you’re somewhere special. Endless dunes, total silence, and light that changes every hour, from deep gold to soft blue to a sky exploding with stars. The owner Salah is incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely fun to be around. One of those people who instantly sets the tone relaxed, authentic, and full of positive energy. You don’t feel like a guest, you feel included. The camp itself is beautifully done. Simple, yes but intentional. The huts, the fabrics, the lanterns, everything feels curated without losing that raw desert charm. It’s not luxury in the traditional sense, but it’s something much more interesting: atmosphere. And then, the food. Honestly, unexpected. Fresh, flavorful, generous and cooked with care. Sitting in the middle of the desert, under soft lights, eating incredibly good food while someone grills in the background… it’s one of those moments where you stop and think: this is exactly why I travel. Especial note: my girlfriend is pescatarian, in all Oman they just give her vegetable options. Here in the middle of the desert: Tuna! She was so happy Sunset and sunrise here are unreal. Watching the sun drop behind the dunes, or rise in complete silence with nothing around you… it resets something inside. There’s also a sense of freedom: climbing dunes, jumping into the sand, driving through the desert, doing nothing at all — everything feels right. If you’re looking for polished, predictable comfort, this might not be your place. But if you want something real, immersive, and full of character — with great food and even better people — this is a place you’ll remember

Ein großartiges Wüstencamp von Salah. Weit in der Wüste und als einiges der wenigen hoch auf den Dünen. Nur sechs Zelte. Als wir da waren, waren außer uns beiden nur ein weiterer Gast vor Ort, was für uns großartig war. Unsere Zeit in der Wüste war magisch!

Byliśmy jedną noc w styczniu 2026, i ciągle myślimy o tym pobycie jak o wspaniałej przygodzie. Obóz jest idealnie położony, urządzony tak, żeby nie zakłócał otaczającej przestrzeni. Zachwyciły mnie łazienki z dachem, którym jest niebo pełne gwiazd. Wszystko pasowało do spokoju i ciszy pustyni. Namiot, w którym spaliśmy był duży i bardzo elegancki. Świetnie mówiący po angielsku właściciel, życzliwy, wesoły i towarzyski. I pyszne jedzenie! Przyrządzone i podane z wielkim talentem. Niezapomniany wieczór z muzyką i tańcami Derwiszów. Spacer po wydmach pustyni i zachwycający zachód słońca. I ludzie (dziękujemy Sultan!), których spotkaliśmy.

INCROYABLE ! Le cadre est vraiment idyllique pour un séjour reposant au cœur du désert. Le personnel est aux petits soins de ses clients, à la fois discret et très réactif. Votre hôte Salah se fera un plaisir de vous accueillir dans son camp. Si vous voulez vivre une expériences immersive en plein désert laissez-vous guidez par Salah un hôte formidable. Our stay at Desert Moments Camp was one of the highlights of our trip to Oman. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome. Salah showed outstanding hospitality and completely charmed our teenage kids. The camp itself is beautifully set up. The tents are very tastefully arranged, comfortable, and well maintained, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The food was excellent: delicious, generous, and clearly prepared with care. What truly makes this camp special is its location. It sits deeper in the desert, away from the road and other camps, right on top of the dunes. Watching the sunset directly from in front of your own tent is simply magical. At night, the atmosphere becomes even more unforgettable – complete silence, total peace, and a sky filled with countless stars. The whole team is wonderful, warm, and attentive. Not as remote as one could expect (but farther in the desert than most of the camps in the vicinity). Still some light pollution incoming from nearby towns. A bit of a difficult approach, needs good 4x4 and some experience.

Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique au Désert moment camp. C’est un lieu authentique, bien intégré dans son environnement, chaque détail est pensé avec justesse. Accueil parfait par Salah et son équipe qui met beaucoup de joie et de dynamisme à nous accueillir. On ressent le plaisir de partager et c’est très appréciable. Mention spéciale pour le cuisiner, nous avons très bien mangé. Les tentes sont confortables, joliment décorées. L’environnement évidemment est incroyable, la situation du camps en hauteur et dans les dunes est parfaite ! Merci à vous pour ces merveilleux souvenirs et pour les cours de conduite dans le sable 😄

Location in the middle of the desert: very quiet with an amazing landscape. I experienced the original desert life with delicious Omani food. Salah and his team has bene amazing.

We spent an amazing family stay with our two young children! Salah and his whole team are very welcoming and kind, and they take great care of everything to make sure your stay is perfect. The location feels like you are alone in the world, on top of a dune, far from any other camp. The view of the sunrise and sunset is absolutely breathtaking. The meals are generous and delicious. The tents are beautiful and very comfortable. Sultan and his son took us on a wonderful camel ride that our children will never forget. If you are looking for a high-quality, authentic experience away from the crowds, this is the place to go!

Die Lage des Camp ist außergewöhnlich, da es sich auf einer Anhöhe befindet und nicht im Tal, somit hat man einen herrlichen Blick auf Sonnen Untergang und Aufgang. Sala ist eingrossartiger Gastgeber sowie sein Team, Abholung, Unterhaltung durch Sala sowie die Speisen waren toll. Ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt, ich habe diese unglaubliche Ruhe genossen und kann dieses Camp ohne Strom in der Abgeschiedenheit nur weiterempfehlen.

Traumhaft schönes Wüstencamp, wenn man ein kleines gemütliches Camp sucht. Insgesamt nur 6 Hütten. Salah, der Besitzer hat sich sehr gut um alle Gäste gekümmert und er hat uns die omanische Kultur etwas näher gebracht. Die Fahrtzeit vom Treffpunkt in Al Wasil beträgt ca. 45 min, man benötigt ein Allrad PKW. Sonst kann man Salah fragen, ob man mit ihm mitfahren darf. Nach Ankunft gibt es Tee und kleine Snacks. Hosna, seine Servicemitarbeiterin hat sich sehr gut um die Gäste gekümmert und einen super tollen Job gemacht. Sehr Aufmerksam und freundlich. Abends haben wir noch ein Lagerfeuer bekommen, so dass sich alle Gäste gefreut hatten. Tolles und leckeres Abendessen mit Tee und Nachtisch. Jederzeit wieder, sehr weiter zu empfehlen.

Die Zelte waren sehr schön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Vor allem die kleine ‚Terrasse‘. Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Personal immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Super mittige Lage des camps in der Wüste, viele andere waren sehr am Rand der Wüste platziert.

We met Salah on the outskirts of the desert, i guided us patiently through the pathway that leads to the camp. The position of the camp is perfect, great spot for sunset, staff was very nice and friendly. Food was amazing. Recommend 10/10 Ps If you’re a stars lover you will be happy about the night sky

Salah is a professional, he will pick U up from the village early at 1pm, help U with tires and lead you through the sands to his camp, so you dont have to be afraid that you stuck in sand. He is funny and comunicative, knows his guests needs. Personel at the place is engaged and very very commited. Food is the best, teas is the best and you can even be a witness of a live music. Tents? Great! Not too cold in the night, not too hot at the day. Comfy beds. Shower with warm water, and even a paying terminal if you are out of cash. Location? Far away from town, so its quiet and the sky is full of stars. Sand dunes just next to the camp, and camels will take you there if you want, or you can just walk for the epic sunrise photos. All absolutely perfect.

Salah hat uns um 1pm in Al Wasil mit unserem 4x4 abgeholt und ist mit uns zu einer Werkstadt gefahren, in der wir den Reifendruck senken lassen konnten. Dann fuhren wir zusammen mit ihm und den anderen Gästen zum Camp. Das war auch gut, wir blieben alle auf dem Weg stecken, da das Camp relativ hoch liegt und wir alle nicht im geübt waren im Sand. Dort angekommen, bekamen wir ein Mittagessen und Tee serviert. Dann wurden uns die Zelte gezeigt und wir hatten bis 7.30pm Freizeit - genug Zeit, um dort angebotene Aktivitäten (z.B. Kamelreiten für 20 OMR) wahrzunehmen oder einfach einen schönen Spaziergang durch den Sand zu unternehmen. Beim Abendessen saßen wir mit den anderen Gästen an einer langer Tafel, das war unglaublich nett. Danach wurden wir mit einer Gruppe singender Omanis überrascht - wir waren fre,i dazu zu tanzen oder einfach nur das Spektakel zu beobachten. Es war großartig und passte zu dem Gesamtpaket. Der Sternenhimmel war toll - da sich das Camp relativ weit in der Wüste befindet, ist die Lichtverschmutzung gering. Die Zelte (insgesamt gibt es 6) waren sehr geräumig, warm und gemütlich. Es gibt 6 Badezimmer, die sich jedoch mit allen Gästen geteilt werden. Alle mit Blick in den Himmel. Am nächsten Morgen gab es ein kleines aber vorzügliches omanisches Frühstück, bevor es um 9am wieder zusammen mit allen zurück zur Werkstadt ging. Für Senken und Erhöhen der Reifendrücke bezahlten wir 1 OMR. Salah war ein toller Gastgeber, mit dem wir am Abend noch lange zusammen saßen. Er ist sehr direkt in seiner Art, extrovertiert und humorvoll - das mochten wir. Das Essen war zu jeder Zeit vorzüglich! Alles in allem war es ein einzigartiges Erlebnis, das wir so schnell nicht mehr vergessen werden. Danke!

Es ging am nächsten Morgen relativ früh schon wieder zurück nach Al Wasil. Wir hätten gerne noch 1-2 Stündchen länger im Camp verweilt. Da aber alle Gäste zusammen abreisen und es sicherlich immer wieder einige gibt, die an dem Tag noch große Pläne haben, können wir verstehen, warum dies nicht möglich war.

Einfach alles war grossartig! (Obwohl die Hinfahrt durch die Wüste nicht nach Plan geklappt hat, da unser gemieteter 4x4 doch kein sandtauglicher 4x4 war - andere Geschichte, aber Salah hat uns "gerettet") Das Ankommen im Camp, der feinste Tee, das wunderbare Essen (gehört zum Besten unserer ganzen Reise), die einzelnen "Zelte" (Zelt wird dieser Übernachtungsmöglichkeit nicht gerecht), die unter freiem Himmel stehenden Toiletten und Duschen, unsere zusammengewürfelte Gruppe, das von Salah organisierte Sunset- und Abendprogramm - es war einfach perfekt👌🏻! Herzlichen Dank, Salah & Team für dieses unvergessliche Erlebnis

10/10 pour ce petit camps intimiste et bien situé. L’hôte est super sympa et attentif à bien nous recevoir. L’ambiance y est paisible. La nourriture était excellente (lunch en arrivant, dîner et petit déjeuner compris dans le tarif). La chambre était super belle. Pour accéder au camps vous pouvez suivre l’hôte si vous avez un SUV/4x4 qui vous montrera le chemin, sinon vous pouvez monter avec lui pour 20 OMR aller/retour pour le véhicule.

Kamp size gerçek bir çöl deneyimi yaşatıyor. Salah da diğer çalışanlar da mükemmel insanlardı. Iyi ki bu kampı seçmişiz. Türkiye'den sevgilerle. Keşke 1 gece değil 2 gece kalsaydık. Tek pişmanlığımız bu.

Aventure exceptionnelle dans le désert avec Salah, un hôte aux petits soins qui sait rendre l'expérience hyper fluide malgré la complexité du lieu. Entre nature profonde et camping de luxe, ce fut une expérience tout à fait singulière pour nous. Nous y avons bien mieux mangé que dans la plupart des hôtels en ville. Nous avons eu aussi droit a une soirée en musique tout à fait mémorable. Le désert est magnifique et nous a permis de repartir avec nos plus belles photos du séjour. Je recommande d'avoir son propre 4x4 car l'itinéraire est une expérience en soi ! On dégonflera vos pneus à l'entrée du désert pour naviguer au mieux dans cet océan de sable.

Если вы ищете не просто место для ночлега, а настоящее приключение, которое останется в сердце навсегда — вам сюда. Наше пребывание в этом кемпинге стало абсолютным триумфом и лучшим решением! Хотя мы долго искали варианты и вообще сомневались, стоит ли оставаться в пустыне на ночёвку. Но этот кемпинг превзошел все наши ожидания. Это несомненно Лучшие Дюны в этой пустыне! Чистейшее небо и тишина, отсутствие диких пресмыкающихся, а также то, что мимо вас не будут ездить пустынные гонщики на авто позволит вам на все 100% насладиться своим отдыхом! Отдельно хочется поблагодарить хозяина. Он не просто создал это место, он наполняет его душой и заботой. Его помощь была неоценима: от теплой встречи до решении проблем с нашим авто. Каждый прием пищи был праздником. Нас кормили как дорогих гостей: все очень свежее, приготовлено с любовью, чувствуется рука мастера. Всем, кто сомневается, — не раздумывайте. Это лучшее место для полного погружения в магию пустыни с комфортом и по-настоящему домашним теплом. Мы жили в уютном шатре с удобной кроватью и чистым бельем, но при этом чувствовали себя первооткрывателями. Есть все необходимое (душ, туалет), но ничего лишнего, что отвлекало бы от единения с природой. Невероятная тишина и покой. Единственный кемпинг в самих дюнах, а не между ними. Чистота и уют. Нам очень понравилось! Спасибо! Постараемся вернуться!

Highly recommend this camp, it was an amazing stay there. Its atmosphere was brilliant, in the middle of the desert, the last camp! The food really delicious. The tent nice with super beds. The sunset ride camel and the dune rally organized by our host worst its value, we enjoyed a lot. We are sad to not able to stay more nights there.

We had a fantastic stay at Desert Moments. Salah, the owner and host, has created a wonderful desert experience that matched the dream I had of what it could be. The tents are beautifully appointed and very aesthetic while having comfortable beds, bedding and long chairs. The common dinner area is perfect with a long communal table, comfortable sitting around and an open view on the dunes and sunset. When we arrived, we had a light late lunch waiting for us and dinner was a wonderful buffet with the best food we had during our vacation in Oman. Breakfast was also delicious and we had access to water, tea and dates any time we wanted. Salah is great host, looking to make the experience of his guests as good as possible and he thought of a lot of little details that make the stay feel both authentic and thoughtful. The night up in the dune is wonderful. There are no generator so it's the most quiet night possible with very little light disruption. We had the experience of driving in the dunes with Salah and we highly recommend it. He is a former race car driver and driving in the dunes with him is fun, safe and exhilarating. We also took the option to do a hot air balloon ride for sunrise and the provider Salah booked for us was very good and very professional. It was an experience I would also recommend. We were lucky to also have a bedouin entertainment in the evening after dinner and we loved it. It didn't feel touristy, just a nice moment of singing and dancing.

There was nothing we didn't like. Salah is showing great hospitality and he has great people working for him.

Very nice view due to location on the top of the dunes. Excellent food (one of the best we had during 4 weeks trip in Oman). Very nice staff. Spacious and comfortable tent.

Shared bathroom. Loud music in the evening, being pushed to dance, which made it impossible to have a conversation with others during the entire time after dinner.

My friend and I stayed at this camp for one night. When we were about to reach the site, our car got stuck in the sand. Salah, the owner, patiently got us out of sand. While we were enjoying the sunset, they prepared a delicious meal with authentic BBQ skewers that were one of the best I had in Oman. Salah was clear on facilities the camp offers and we had a peaceful stay. Highly recommend if you are looking for an exceptional experience: fewer tents on the site, a bit farther away from other camps, and a great view from the top of the dunes.

Der Manager Salah Al Zadjali verhielt sich bei Unstimmigkeit mit Gast sehr unprofesionell, wurde am Telefon sehr unhöflich, laut und legte einfach auf. Uns ist solch ein rabiater Umgangston sehr befremdlich und hat einen bitteren Nachgeschmack. Ebenfalls das aggresive rufen übers Camp nach seinem Angestellten Ahmed, der unvermittelt angerannt kam hat uns erstaunt und gezeigt wie stark das Hirachie denken gelebt wird in diesem Camp. Die Einheimische Musik war uns viel zu lang beim warten aufs Nachtessen..

Everything about this stay was great - the host, the staff, the accommodation, the food, and the camp. Salah is a supercool host who really takes care of guests, spends time with them, and makes everyone feel comfortable. You can truly relax being there. The camp is located deeper in the desert than the others, and thanks to it, complete silence and calm are guaranteed. Tents and beds are very cozy. The food was delicious, authentic and plentiful. The staff was very kind and friendly. We wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you Salah, for hosting us! And greetings to the lovely Austrian couple we met!

Bellissima struttura in cima alle dune da cui si gode di una vista privilegiata sul deserto. Salah con il suo staff ci hanno accolti con simpatia e professionalità, la cena consumata la sera è stata la migliore della vacanza! Consigliato anche il giro con i cammelli al tramonto Le tende sono confortevoli e curate con uno spazio esterno perfetto per rilassarsi Grazie ancora a Salah per aver reso speciale il nostro soggiorno!

Amazing experience! Small seacluded camp, right on top of a dune, great view allround ! 6 spacious tents, with confortable beds and relaxing veranda outside. 4 shared toilets, fully equipped, with open roof for sky view... No generator, only petrol lamps, creating unique atmosphere after sunset (incredible night sky) Salah is a fantastic host, gave us precious tips to drive our 4x4 in the desert, arranged a camel ride at sunset time, told us a lot of legends about Oman traditions. Ahmet cooked for us great buffet and barbecue skewers, while a group was playing local music. Unforgettable dinner. Next day, Salah arranged for us a local guide to help us crossing the desert with our 4x4, to reach Beach Moments Camp near Adyuh, managed by Salah's brother. Have look, highly recommended as well! We had 2 more fantastic relaxing days on a wonderful white beach. Grazie di tutto Salah!

Die Lage ist anders als bei anderen Camps hoch oben auf einer Düne, was die Aussicht ganz besonders macht. Das camp besteht aus nur 6 Zelten, was sehr schön und familiär ist. Für die Kinder gab es Schlitten mit denen sie die Dünen runterrutschen konnten. Außerdem laufen überall Kamele rum (auch Kamelritte werden angeboten). Salah, der Gastgeber ist der Hit. Er ist so lustig und freundlich und fragt 100x am Tag ob alles passt, ob man was braucht, ... er hat uns sogar Snacks fpr die Kinder aus der Stadt mitgebracht. Das Abendessen war fantastisch, frisch gegrilltes Fleischspieße und leckere sehr authentische Gerichte. Abends nach dem Essen gab es noch typische Live-Musik. Viele bleiben nur eine Nacht, wir waren zwei und das würde ich jedem auch empfehlen. Es gibt kein elektrisches Licht sondern Laternen, was total romantisch ist. Und dadurch sieht man auch den wunderschönen Sternenhimmel viel besser.

Das Frühstück war etwas dürftig sowohl an Menge als auch an Auswahl. Es gibt kein Internet und keinen Strom. Ersteres war eigentlich ganz schön, da man sich total auf die Wüste einlassen konnte. Zweiteres war schwierig weil man ja doch Elektrogeräte hin und wieder braucht.

Спасибо за ланч по прибытию, которого не было в бронировании, но так как Макдональдса и ресторанов рядом нет приходится нас кормить))) Спасибо за умопомрачительную прогулку на верблюдах и за невероятный ужин с аутентичными песнями под барабан и танцами. Успехов вам и процветания.

Solo 6 tende (con bagno condiviso), meravigliosamente decorate, con un piccolo patio esterno dove sedersi a rilassarsi ed osservare il tramonto. Il campo è su di una duna, quindi con una vista pazzesca. Salah è un padrone di casa eccezionale, che mette i propri ospiti a loro agio ed è il vero valore aggiunto del campo. Colazione e cena in stile omanita. C’è la possibilità di fare la passeggiata al tramonto in cammello. Consiglio di passarci almeno due notti per godere appieno di questo posto così magico. Ci rimarrà nel cuore a lungo!

Il soggiorno in questo camp nel deserto è un’esperienza a tutto tondo. Già il tragitto per raggiungerlo è parte integrante dell’avventura: si arriva con la propria 4x4 (meglio se adatta al deserto), attraversando le dune fino a una location davvero unica. La struttura è isolata, lontana dagli altri complessi turistici, ed è l’unica posizionata sulla cresta delle dune: questo lo rende più autentico, garantisce pace assoluta, silenzio e panorami spettacolari. Sono solo 6 tende, non come le altre strutture affollate. Le tende sono molto curate, pulite e confortevoli. Il cibo tipico è delizioso e, nonostante ci si trovi letteralmente in mezzo al nulla, la scelta è sorprendentemente ampia e di qualità. Non essendoci elettricità, ti puoi godere la luce calda delle lanterne e del fuoco. Per il telefono se proprio devi caricarlo puoi portare un powerbank, ma meglio stare senza e godersi l’esperienza. La vera ciliegina sulla torta è l’ospitalità: lo staff è eccezionale e caloroso, con una menzione speciale a Salah, che rende l’esperienza ancora più autentica e memorabile. Abbiamo anche fatto l’esperienza in mongolfiera, che ci è piaciuta moltissimo e che consigliamo vivamente. Noi ci siamo fermati solo una notte, ma se l’obiettivo è rilassarsi davvero, consiglierei di restare più a lungo per godere appieno della pace e del silenzio di questi luoghi straordinari.

Superb host and location

Desert moments camp was a wonderful experience for us! The camp is on the top of the dune, in a very quiet location and there is really nothing around. You dont hear noise of cars and buggies passing by like in other camps. The tents are big, perfectly clean and comfortable. The best is there is only 6 tents so it is a very friendly experience cause you get the chance to meet other guests and share experiences. It is the only camp that allows you check in at 13.00 so you really get the chance to see and feel the desert even few hours before the sunset. Salah, the owner, is the king of the desert :) he takes really good care of his guests. We enjoyed a tasty surprise lunch on our arrival, delicious food for dinner and a very nice breakfast. Salah, thank you for the great desert camping experience including a funny evening chat where we got to hear more about the modern omani men :)

Bellissime tende distanziate tra loro, ben curate e accoglienti Cena e colazione davvero super. La cena è stata accompagnate da musica dal vivo locale. La camminata con i cammelli al tramonto meravigliosa. Si trova in pieno deserto ed è stato davvero rilassante in un posto incantevole.

É stato un soggiorno stupendo, completamente immersi nel deserto, il camp è sulle dune quindi c’é una vista mozzafiato da qualsiasi prospettiva. Abbiamo passato la notte di capodanno da Salah e ha fatto di tutto per farci sentire a casa, compresi i fuochi d’artificio! Cibo buonissimo e abbondante. Servizi igienici funzionali e le tende erano stupende, letto comodissimo. Tutto il personale è cordiale e caloroso. Salah é una persona meravigliosa, accogliente e pronto a rispondere a tutte le esigenze degli ospiti, per non dimenticare il fatto che dopo aver lasciato degli orecchini in tenda, si é reso disponibile per aiutarci e ridarcele. Consiglio vivamente questo camp.

Wat een fantastisch avontuur en verblijf hebben wij gehad! Om 13u werden we opgehaald in het dorp (heel makkelijk te vinden!) door Salah. Communicatie was heel goed, snel en duidelijk. Je hebt wel echt een goede 4x4 nodig om bij het kamp te komen. Dit ligt boven op een heuvel, waardoor je een prachtig en ver uitzicht hebt. Incl. een mooie zonsondergang, prachtige heldere sterren (incl. vallende sterren) en een bijzondere zonsopgang. Daarnaast is het het laatste kamp zo ongeveer, waardoor je echt het gevoel hebt dat je alleen in de woestijn zit. Het kamp is klein, maar heel fijn en comfortabel. Er liggen sleetjes zodat je van de duinen af kan. We kregen zelfs een kleine lunch, heerlijk avondeten (3 gangen) en het ontbijt was prima. Je kan rijden op een kameel, aan te raden is om dit vooruit te boeken. Ter plekke kan het ook, maar dan kan het zijn dat het niet beschikbaar is (of dat je de volgende dag in de ochtend kan rijden). Salah is enorm vriendelijk en gastvrij, doet er alles aan om je het naar de zin te maken.

We moesten met 4 gezinnen lang wachten op 1 andere familie. Hier kon de eigenaar uiteraard NIETS aan doen!!

Super netter Gastgeber, ein natürlich gehaltenes Camp, das sich deutlich abhebt von den Camps an denen wir auf dem Weg vorbeigekommen sind. Das Essen war wirklich gut.

Bellissimo campeggio situato sulle dune. Le tende sono solo 5. Arredato con gusto e attenzione al dettaglio. Cena ottima e abbondante con atmosfera unica. Percorso per arrivare alle tende non facilissimo se non si ha un 4x4 “serio”.

Bellissimo campo tendato, non affollato, nel mezzo del deserto. Struttura pulita, accogliente, senza elettricità. Tende spaziose, letti comode e bagni in comune. Bel patio fuori dalla tenda per momenti di relax. Staff gentile e disponibile.

Totale Abgeschiedenheit oben auf der Düne fernab von anderen Camps. Es ist klein und dadurch authentisch und keine Massenabfertigung. Salah ist ein sehr herzlicher Gastgeber und hat uns mit seinem Team einen tollen Aufenthalt bereitet. Unsere Tochter hat den großen „Sandkasten“ genossen und am Abend zur traditionellen Live Musik getanzt. Das Essen war super und der Kaffee am Morgen auch ein richtiger Wachmacher. Wenn wir noch mal in den Oman kommen, dann auf jeden Fall hierher. Beste Grüße Martin, Sylvia und Jella

C'était une expérience extraordinaire. Une parenthèse enchantée. Et quel hôte, ce grand monsieur Salah qui force l'admiration. Le campement intimiste que Salah a imaginé et crée est tout simplement unique. Ne passez pas à côté si vous souhaitez être privilégié. Salah prend soin de ces convives. Merci Salah pour tout. Nous garderons un souvenir mémorable de cette nuit dans le désert en votre compagnie.

Le trajet en voiture était très long mais visiblement les chauffeurs n'étaient pas des champions (petite blague de Salah). Pour vivre l'expérience a fond, je préconiserais de ne pas autoriser les convois en voitures mais d'organiser uniquement cela en 4/4.

Salah ist wie schon überall beschrieben ein besonderer Mensch! Auch Kinder mit Beeinträchtigung werden herzlich empfangen! Essen war ein Traum und Achmet bemüht sich sehr, dass alles sauber bleibt! Sandboarding, Kamelreiten , alles ein Erlebnis! Bitte spart nicht beim Auto !!!!! Wenn Salah euch anbietet bei seinem Bruder zu übernachten( moments Beach Camp dann unbedingt durch die Wüste hinfahren! Malediven pur!!!!) Salah danke für alles! Hoffe du kommst uns in Österreich besuchen!!!!

Gab es nichts

Wir waren 3 Nächte dort und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wer ein echtes Wüstenerlebnis in traditionellen Beduinenzelten (mit Betten im Zelt) sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Das Camp liegt im Gegensatz zu den anderen Camps oben auf den Dünen, somit hat man einen wundervollen Ausblick über die Wüstenlandschaft sowie auf Sonnenaufgänge und Sonnenuntergänge. Das Essen war absolut top, alle Mitarbeiter und der Besitzer Salah waren super freundlich. Uns hat insbesondere die Ruhe und Natur gefallen. Das Camp ist relativ klein, sodass es nicht so touristisch ist und wir super Abende mit dem Besitzer und anderen Gästen in gemütlicher und authentischer omanischer Atmosphäre hatten. Auf Wunsch wird auch ein Transfer von/nach Maskat von Salah organisiert.

Primero me gustaría nombrar a Salah , él dueño!!! fue increíblemente amable y servicial durante nuestra estancia, un tipo con muy buen humor y siempre con una sonrisa y siempre pendiente de todo ! Recibimos una hospitalidad fantástica y un servicio encantador. El personal del hotel nos hizo sentir bienvenidos y cuidados en todo momento! Un equilibrio perfecto entre lo sencillo y lo elegante, ideal para una escapada al desierto!! Nos llevamos recuerdos maravillosos de nuestra estancia aquí!! Las tiendas son maravillosas!!! La comida!!!!! Todo estaba buenísimo y absolutamente delicioso!!! Teníamos Te y café y dátiles durante todo el día! Recomiendo encarecidamente este “Camp”para pasar unos días en el desierto! 1000% RECOMENDABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GRACIAS Salah por todo !

Tout! Salah est un hôte exceptionnel, très présent et qui aime discuter avec ses clients. Tout est fait pour déconnecter. Nous avons particulièrement bien mangé. Les tentes sont très confortables.

Wow wow wow - wir wissen gar nicht wo wir anfangen sollen zu erzählen. Es war einfach eine so wundervolle Erfahrung, die wir definitiv nicht mehr missen möchten. Angefangen bei der äußert liebevollen Begleitung durch den Besitzer Salah, der uns alle nötigen Infos vorab gab, uns am Treffpunkt in Empfang nahm und ins Desert Moments Camp brachte. Dort angekommen bekamen wir erstmal Mittagessen (einfach, aber super lecker) und konnten in Ruhe ankommen und die Stille und Schönheit der Wüste und des Camps genießen. Unser Zelt war einfach nur wunderschön, stilecht hergerichtet und lud zum träumen ein. Auch gab es funktionierende und praktikable Sanitäranlagen. Nach einer kurzen Pause ging es zu der on top gebuchten Kameltour - auch ein Highlight, was nicht fehlen durfte. Wir ritten dem Sonnenuntergang entgegen, genossen diesen dann ganz alleine und liefen anschließend das kurze Stück zurück zum Camp. Dort gab es ein so großzügig und absolut leckeres Abendessen. Glücklich und bei sternenklarer Nacht schliefen wir dann eingekuschelt ein. Morgens nahmen wir uns die bereitgestellten Decken und saßen uns zum Sonnenaufgang gucken vor unser Zelt - es war so friedlich und erdend. Nach dem Frühstück begleitete uns Salah dann wieder in die Normalität und ins echte Leben. Was Salah da für ein wundervolles Camp geschaffen hat ist einfach genial und ich wünsche ihm, dass er noch ganz viele Menschen damit verzaubern kann - das ist nämlich 1001 Nacht next level.

Everything was exceptional. The site is wonderful, most of the other camps are located somwhere in a valley but DesertMomentsCamp is on top of a dune! So the view is fantastic. Salah (camp manager) is a great host, super friendly and he took every effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible. If you come by 4x4 car make sure to not have the smallest 4x4 available, the way up the dunes is a real adventure! If you come there other ways, Salah will organize the transport to the camp. The food is fantastic, the tents are very comfortable, everybody is very friendly. There is nothing we would change and give Desert moments Camp a full recommondation…

Quatre jours tout simplement incroyables dans le désert, bien au-delà de tout ce que j’avais imaginé. Le camp de Salah est sans hésitation le meilleur choix pour vivre une immersion authentique et respectueuse au cœur du désert. Le service sur place est exceptionnel : Salah et Ahmed ont été fantastiques, aux petits soins du début à la fin. Les installations sont impeccables, avec une salle de bain ultra propre. Les repas (petit déjeuner, déjeuner et dîner inclus dans le prix), sont excellents et généreux. Salah veille constamment à ce que l’on ne manque de rien et que l’on se sente comme chez soi, comme il l’a si bien dit dès le premier jour : « ici, c’est chez vous ». Une immersion authentique et respectueuse dans le désert, sans lumière artificielle, seulement des lampes à huile, pour une expérience unique au cœur de la culture bédouine. Les transferts sont très professionnels. Salah s’occupe également de l’organisation des trajets aller-retour depuis le désert. Et que dire des soirées… des moments magiques dans une ambiance incroyable. C’est un camp ultra intimiste, peu de tentes donc vraiment très convivial! Ne cherchez pas plus loin si vous souhaitez une véritable expérience authentique et respectueuse dans le désert. C’est une expérience inoubliable que je recommande les yeux fermés.

Rien du tout, tout à été mieux que je l’espérais. Ne faites pas l’erreur de rester qu’une nuit, vous le regretterez ! 2 ou 3 nuits pour vraiment profiter de ce lieu magique.

Tout était parfait. Camp situé en haut d’une d’une. La vue était magnifique. Salah notre hôte était très accueillant. Le service était parfait. Nichts

We really enjoyed our stay in the camp of Salah. We were picked-up at 1 p.m. from the gas station in Al Wasil and went together to the camp. Note: Kia Sportage is not a best option to get to the camp (you could get stuck in the sand), but with a help of Salah, we made it safely :) Camp is very cosy - only for 5 tents & extremely clean. Food & the company of Salah were great! We spend a nice time talking with the guests. So you have enough time to be both social& private and be able to enjoy the desert. Overall, super grateful for this experience.

Everything was perfect!

On ne peut que noter 10 car tout est parfait. Le camp est isolé et calme. Seulement quelques tentes. Tout est décoré avec soin et authenticité jusque dans les détails (beaucoup de charme). Salah s’occupe bien de ses hôtes. Les activités proposées sont très bien. On gardera un excellent souvenir de ce moment. Nous recommandons fortement ce camp.

Un moment authentique et mémorable passé dans le désert en compagnie de Salah et de son équipe. Nous avons adoré notre nuit dans ce petit camp isolé sur une dune, à admirer le sunset et le sunrise, à échanger avec d'autres voyageurs, à écouter les chants bédouins... Le trajet jusqu'au camp avec notre propre véhicule était très fun, la nourriture était excellente, les discussions avec Salah étaient passionnantes... Nous recommandons très fortement !
