Reviewed Sep 17, 2026Uiteraard het uitzicht vanuit de kamer! Dat was het helemaal waard.
Het is een vrij gedateerde kamer en sanitair, maar het werkte (ook lekker warm water). De hosts waren heel lief, maar wel teruggetrokken waardoor ik me opgelaten voelde om ze te storen en dingen te vragen. Uiteindelijk hebben we dat wat beperkt, maar ze waren wel heel lief. We mochten hun wasmachine bijvoorbeeld gebruiken (ook gratis). Tot slot wil ik wel even aangeven dat je niet heel gemakkelijk/prettig naar de accommodatie toe wandelt. Het is veel stukken een zandweg waar auto's ook af en aan rijden.

tv got no signal, no channel.. bit disappointed especially when the kids always ask for tv while we rest in the homestay

There was some rowdy karaoke the first night. But it was a holiday. You need to rent a car to get here and the road in from town is rough. Only restaurant nearby was closed most of the time.

Reviewed Jan 2, 2026Bilik selesa, luas, sesuai untuk family kecik. View menghadap Gunung Kinabalu. Tandas luas. Ada balkoni. Boleh bawa alas untuk duduk di lantai sbb lantai tiles dan sejuk. Ada wifi. Ada set cultery disediakan. Sangat best.
Bantal keras sikit. Tapi masih boleh diguna. Langsir terang, kena tutup double dgn kain pelikat.

For the price I paid -- plenty of space in my room, suitable for my baby to walk and play around in the room.. we can see Mount Kinabalu from the window and also from the balcony. I've made my research, and found Dongorit Cabin to be the perfect choice if you want a direct view of Mount Kinabalu without burning a hole in your pocket. The shower & toilet also spacious.
Blanket is a bit too thin, since the weather is very windy when I came (early October), but I love the cold weather so it is not a big deal <3

Reviewed Oct 2, 2025Best part of this place is the view of gunung kinabalu and the privacy. When u open the window, there's no other house nearby that can see u and every morning u can see mount kinabalu very clearly, every creases seen. So majestic. Definitely great value for the money paid
Cleanliness is sometimes subpar. The mattress is kampung style, slightly thin but still comfortable

Reviewed Aug 23, 2025Notre hôte était très accueillant et arrangeant. En effet, nous avons pu arriver à 22h30. La chambre était très spacieuse, avec de la place pour les affaires de chacun. Les équipements étaient pratiques et fonctionnels. L’eau de la douche était bien chaude. La vue depuis la fenêtre de la chambre et l’escalier était incroyable ! Surtout tôt le matin. Il y avait un petit peu de vaisselle, ce qui nous a permis de préparer un bon pique-nique.
Rien ! La route d’accès n’est pas forcément très pratique, il faut y aller doucement, mais ce n’est pas du fait de l’hôte.

Reviewed Jun 25, 2025It is a cabin upstairs from the owner home. The place is quiet, beds are comfortable and big car park scape. But the most that we love is the view of Mount Kinabalu from the window. Best view from 5.30am to 8.30am, after which would cover by cloud.
I would suggest placing a bench on the corridor for guests to sit & relax.

Reviewed Sep 27, 2024I really like the accommodation because all the equipment has been well prepared. there is a water heater which is very useful because the weather there is very cold especially when it rains and at night. Wi-Fi service is also available. The location of the accommodation is not too far from the interesting places we visited.
Maybe a table can be provided for use such as doing work or eating inside or outside the room. Other than that there is nothing I didn't like about this stay
