I had a great stay. The cabin was great. I like the facilities provided. They really think about you when they provide the facilities and you can feel it in the cabin.

The outdoor patio unfortunately will come with flies and mosquitoes during the sunset hours and night time, unless you have a grill going, or unless it's raining. Inside the cabin will feel very humid during the day as well, as it is facing the sunrise. So book the cabin with these in mind. I had no real complaints about this, since the cold weather outside offsets the heat.

we really like the view. comfortable place with beautiful view, there is a restaurant next to the homestay, it's easy for us to order food and they deliver it, eat while enjoying the view. cool breeze 😍

strategic location in vicinity to town and main attraction points. Bed is comfy. Comes with kitchen utensils. Park right beside the cabin. Restaurant right beside the cabin.

Too cold at night with thin blanket - glad that getting extra blanket from the host for my second night. Too hot during daytime - curtain not completely blackout, quite bright during daytime, lacking privacy throughout the day. Window lock is faulty imposing security issue. Water heater not hot enough. Toilet flush not functioning well. Have to flush few times to clear thoroughly. WiFi details not provided until request. Poor WiFi connection in the cabin.

Die Unterkunft ist einfach aber völlig ausreichend. Wir waren nur für eine Nacht da, 1 oder 2 mehr wären aber auch ok gewesen. Es gibt für jedes Zimmer / Container auch eine kleine Terrasse, was wir schön fanden (Mozzies halten sich in Grenzen). Das Cafe des sehr netten Besitzers serviert auch Abendessen ( während des Ramadan erst ab 18 Uhr und dann auch kein Frühstück! Das mussten wir im Supermarkt besorgen). Wir hatten das Glück einen Steamboat Abend zu erwischen, es war super. Wir würden die Unterkunft wieder buchen, der Preis ist gut.

Okay folks good luck in Kundasang without a car. Ugh. No Grab here. And private drivers charge exorbitant fees. But Desa dairy farm for views early AM and Kinabalu Park trails and viewpoint are musts! And totally worth visiting.

After 9am onwards sampai zohor akan panas klu cuaca terik, dalam homestay cuma ada 1 kipas. so better keluar jalan2 time ni.. lepas asar ke atas smpai ke mlm, subuh sejukkkk.. best

Heater water not hot enough

Very near to the town.they have their own cafe,making it easier to find food.food is quite tasty amd the view from the cafe is beautiful. The sunrise and the hill scenery infront the room is breathtaking.

You cant see the mount kinabalu clearly from here.and it can be quite warm after 8am inside the room because the morning sun will directly strike the building.

A good place to stay, senang berurusan dgn boss and staff, Boss and staff really friendly. Other than that, the food really tasty and recommended. Also dari ni tempat pun boleh nampak view gunung kinabalu apa lagi awal pagi sangat jelas belakang cafe dia, anyway definitely will repeat again another time🥰

The homestay was well equipped with everything we needed. Kitchen facilities were provided, so we could cook our own meals, there's also a mini fridge to store food. Parking is also very convenient as you can park right in front of the unit. Check-in proceed was smooth, easy and hassle free. Excellent location of the homestay, right beside the main road, making it easy to get around Kundasang.

No basic toiletries (soap and shampoo), so you'll have to bring your own.

cooking utensils are old, especially the pans and ports where surfaced are already scratched and deface. These types of utensils should not be used anymore and should be scrapped. The fan do not have remote control. There is no blinds to block morning sun shining into the kitchen and eating area. So sitting in the kitchen is like sitting in the sun. Very unthoughtful layout. The owner should actually slant the container by 30 deg.

Located near to Kundasang town. The room is clean n it has balcony to chill out during night. And one more things, their staff are helpful and never feel reluctant to help even for the small matters

The tv n internet is not working properly. The blanket is “simple”, considering cold night at Kundasang. Maybe need to put indoor slipper to use inside the room

Nice accommodation placed conveniently in Kundasang. We enjoyed staying the red container and it is nice that you can sit outside in the evening.

There was some ants close to the bed. We found it a bit expensive compared to what you get.

The view is awesome. Hospitality pun best,boleh masak2 sambil menikmati suasana sejuk di Kundasang. Lokasi mmg di area pekan kundasang saja.

The location was peaceful and scenic, surrounded by nature. The container-style design was unique and cozy, and the outdoor seating area was a nice touch to enjoy the cool Kundasang air. Will definitely stay here again next time and bring my whole family to stay here.

Simple container-based room with private parking, within walking distance to Kundasang market, shops and restaurants

Furnitures are cheap and flimsy. The metal container heats up quickly under the bright sunlight at 7am that renders the cabin too warm to sleep in. The absence of mosquito net prevents occupants to open doors and windows for external cool air, without inviting flies in. Its' house rule prohibits alcohol consumption, a new piece of information learned too late at great inconvenience.

Homey feel and excellent service , provide cleaning services for our hiking clothing which we really need it after the climb

It can get a little hot in the room in the afternoon but we didn't mind cause we are checking out

It took a while to understand how the door lock works. Perhaps owner could help to guide the 1st time to unlock. A shelf near the big mirror would be great as we need to put things like comb, facial product etc when using mirror to get ready

Strategic location. Second time we book here. You can find places to eat anywhere from this area. Not too far from Desa Farm. Cold at night :). You can eat outside while enjoying the night view. Hot in the day from inside, the fan was not enough but you can open the sliding door beside the bed cos its still cold outside and let the wind in. You can see the side of Mt kinabalu early morning around 5.45am.

Hard to watch anything from the TV because the screen is too dark to see even when you turn off the lights at night :(. No iron and ironing board, so you have to bring it yourself.

Ive stayed 2 nights in the yellow bungalow and had a wonderful time. The bungalow has everything you need and is cozy with a comfortable bed. Erna and her husbands are very lovely and caring, helped me with booking a ticket and even driving me to the national park entrance. Communication was also easy and fast. Also, the location in the Center of the town is very good. I can highly recommend :)

Overall, we are satisfied with the facilities. The cabin wa very clean and most importantly the water heater was working well.

I would like to suggest to provide at shower gel and handsoap. People who travel often do not bring these and expect these basic needs to be provided.

Pls exchange the toilet rolls even if the previous owner didnt finish it. Its quite sad when u've given a used toilet rolls instead of a new one. And it would be nice if kitchen towels are prepared as well bcoz during my stay, I hav to use the toilet rolls to wipe the table after eating. Last but not least, blankets. I hope u'll change the blankets bcoz its quite thin for a very cold night. Tq.

Excellent location and helpful owner, same as everyone shared their reviews. Walking distance from the famous Kundasang market and the best Kinabalu view point. Few kms from Kinabalu park. Unobstructed view of the valley and mountain range from room. The room and facilities are super duper clean. You will get everything that you need to cook and stay for couple of days. We bought fresh veggies from market, cheese from Desa farm and cooked at room. Unlike other hotel's review in Kundasang we did not have any hot water problm here. Had good sleep both nights.
